Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We muse use it while we can.

    “In the wake of the terrorist attacks on two New Zealand mosques, UN Secretary-General António Guterres has announced his intention to launch a UN action plan for the safeguarding of religious sites, declaring that “mosques and all places of prayer and contemplation should be safe havens, not sites of terror.”

    Guterres was addressing representatives of the press at the Islamic Cultural Centre of New York, to show his solidarity with the worldwide Muslim community, a week after the murder of some 50 Muslim worshippers by a gunman in Christchurch, New Zealand, on 15th March.

    The UN chief spoke, with a “heavy and full heart,” of the grief and sympathy felt for the families of the victims, and the moving displays of “leadership, love and community from the people of New Zealand.”

    “Around the world, we have seen ever-rising anti-Muslim hatred, anti-Semitism, hate speech and bigotry. The cancer is spreading. It is our duty to find the cure,” Guterres added.

    Although the attack was “utterly appalling,” he said that it was not utterly surprising, because “around the world, we have seen ever-rising anti-Muslim hatred, anti-Semitism, hate speech and bigotry.”

    Reminding the press that he has repeatedly warned about these dangers, Guterres said that hate speech is “spreading like wildfire,” whether via social media or public discourse, with many political movements admitting neo-Nazi affiliation. He described the phenomenon as “a cancer,” and declared that “it is our duty to find the cure.”

    Mr. Guterres called for a reaffirmation of the sanctity of all places of worship and “the safety of all worshippers who visit revered sites in a spirit of compassion and tolerance. People everywhere must be allowed to observe and practice their faith in peace.”

    The Secretary-General announced that he has asked the High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations, Miguel Moratinos, to develop an Action Plan for the UN to be fully engaged in support of safeguarding religious sites. The Alliance, he said, will reach out to governments, faith-based organisations and religious leaders to explore ways to prevent attacks and guarantee the sanctity of religious sites.

    “You are not alone,” Guterres promised the Muslim community, and all others feeling targeted. “The world is with you. The United Nations is with you. I am with you.””

            This media tripe volcano failed more smell tests than the Mobro 4000. I don’t recall a single event since the 9-11 Atrocity that justifiably invited this much immediate speculation.

            It would take weeks for a dozen ice-fueled CPAs to account for all of the stranger-than-fiction coincidences and, especially, handily pat solutions that sprang forth, fully grown, from the head of this titanic set piece.

            Yesterday, when Sassy pointed out how the mosque was Ahmadiyya, things started clicking into place like the tumblers of a bank vault. I could hook up every one of my ßüllshït meters in series and they still couldn’t handle this load of misdirection and obfuscation.

            It’s really good knowing that someone involved was stupid enough to leave behind a trail of crumbs. No other set of festivities ever has gotten me so deeply in touch with my inner Alex Jones.

            It will be more than interesting to see where any “I told you so” types come out of the woodwork.

  4. The social credit system in Dystopia is well ensconced. No such déclaration by any institution will be found, but it is fully constituted. School childrens’ brains are bleached by teachers whose motives, themselves, can be considered a part of a credit sub-system. Very quickly dissenting political views are weeded out. In high school, teachers who are liked hold great sway with the teenagers, who gladly seek out mentors over stale parents. These teachers often ensure that correct political views are imparted in the name of humanity, when in fact the views are invariably globalist, socialist, communist, anti-capitalist and historically revisionist. Gender invention is now the orthodoxy. Minority students will be showcased at school functions not necessarily because of demonstrated excellence in any field of endeavor, but rathet as an act of defiance by school authorities against an orthodoxy that has already been extinguished. Yet they hammer away against this belief system that belonged to our parents, and at we dinosaures who dare carry it on. Aging counter-revolutionaries rich in wisdom but poor in youth trudge up this hamburger hill on replaced knees and sheer stubborness. Ultimately, though, the rebellion must be enforced by our young who must awaken weary their centrally-planned enslavement.

    At least five gunmen stormed the building after a suicide car bombing at the gates.

    “An Islamic preacher in the Czech Republic has come under severe criticism after telling Muslims they should equip themselves with weapons following the Christchurch attack in New Zealand.

    Imam Leonid Kushnarenko, chairman of the Prague Muslim Community, posted the call for Muslims to arm themselves on Facebook on Sunday only days after the fatal shooting which saw 50 people killed in two mosques in Christchurch, Le Figaro reports.

    “In the light of recent tragic events, I inform all our members, especially men, all who want to … arm themselves to protect their health and property. Contact me and I will help you. Salam Alaikum,” the Ukraine-born imam said.

    “It’s a question of prevention. I said it to prevent fools from going to a mosque and doing bad things,” he later claimed.

    Pushback against the call came from members of the Czech Muslim community themselves, with the Prague Muslim Community stating that “any statement or act by chairman Kushnarenko is his private activity and does not represent the opinion of Muslims living in Prague or the Czech Republic” on Facebook.

    They also added that they would be investigating how Kushnarenko had become the chairman of the group as well.

    Muneeb Hassan Alrawi, head of the Czech Muslim Communities Centre, also commented on the statement, saying that he did not support it and called it a “wrong step.”

    The imam’s comments also come after Islamist Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdo?an was condemned for several inflammatory remarks in the wake of the deadly shooting, as well as broadcasting footage of the killings during a political rally.

    This week Erdo?an went a step further, telling Australians and New Zealanders visiting Turkey for the anniversary of the World War One battle of Gallipoli that anti-Muslim tourists would be “sent back in coffins” like their grandfathers.”

    • It looks like Erodgan is getting ready to make his move in Europe, this is gonna be a very busy summer.

      • My instincts tell me you are correct Richard. So far we have seen mostly micro-terrorism done by indirect or non-state actors. The real money and power hasn’t moved into play yet. But it feels closer this year. It feels like what Stephen Coughlin described as the state of things in 2015, which did not materialize to the degree he said by orders of magnitude, may really happen this summer.

        • The tension around the entire world is increasing, and there are signs that some of the people in DC are thinking that something is going to happen.

          Here are the major data points I see:

          1) The left is upping the pressure for gun control and the Patriots are pushing back. The states with the new red flag gun seizure laws and the Sheriffs who are saying they won’t enforce them are ripe for massive violence.

          2) Tension in the China India Pakistan mess are rising, I posted the video about China moving troops into Pakistan to protect the port they now own. I didn’t post the one about India putting an aircraft carrier and 60 support vessels in the Indian Ocean near Pakistan because I didn’t know enough about the source.

          3) France is about to explode, if the situation wasn’t very tense they wouldn’t have put the military on the street.

          4) Germany is having more trouble and the amount is growing daily.

          5) Erdogan is screaming about the NZ shooting and is threatening NZ and Europe.

          6) The NZ shooting.

          7) The caravans moving from Central America towards the US and the Dems doing all they can to help them.

          8) China’s shadow banking system starting to collapse and the CCP deciding to crack down.

          9) Kin in NK playing cute with Trump.

          There are also reports that the US Navy has started building a new “Battleship:, not like the WWII ones (most of which are still battle ready) but a new type that can take a lot of damage and still operate as a defense/support ship at a contested beach landing.

          There are others but I can’t remember them right now.

    European allies of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban have suspended his party from their center-right alliance in Brussels, citing concerns over the rule of law and attacks on EU leaders. It follows a pledge by the United States to support free media and civil society groups in Hungary, who say they are under attack from the government.

    Orban has refuted such claims and hopes the European Parliament elections in May change the power dynamics of the bloc.

Not entirely eschewing foul language but neither enshrining it like Mario Savio and the idiot 1960s “Free Speech” movement. One whose (then-nascent and) now-flourishing Postmodern (i.e., very UNHIP) mindset was 180° contrary to being a hippy.

      “Hip” to experiencing nature through deep back-country, off-grid packing that only early pioneers and seasoned hunters usually experienced. All while preserving it from the ravages of corporate interests who now think the great outdoors is a perfect place for warehousing homeless people.

      The foregoing only touches upon this fleeting hothouse flower-child that depended so much upon appreciating Constitutional Rights and rejected unquestioning cooperation (like the Nazis and Commies before them).

      For perceptive readers, more than a few traditions of the Classical Liberal might peek out of the previous descriptions and very rightly so.

      The hippy love of Victorian houses (instead of the architectural bivouacs called “tract homes”), richly figured art noveau and art deco motifs—along with rebels like Mauritas Escher and (Disney animator) Eyvind Earle—make today’s plasticine, saccharine 99¢ Store graphic designs look like the motel wallpaper patterns that they are.

      “Modern Art” (e.g., from Jackson Pollock to Thomas Kincade) is the exact ANTITHESIS of that era’s tastes. The irony that PoMo excreta was calmly put up with back then when today’s snowflakes are triggered by lecturing homosexual Conservatives, chalked sidewalks, and inexact pronouns traces rather well the trajectory of modern, neotenic adult infantilism.

      It’s important to enter full-screen mode for this following, all-too-brief glimpse into some incredibly beautiful ephemera from the twentieth century’s back nine. I know because several of the rock concert posters shown graced my private collection at one time or another (and a few still do).

      Compare the saturated colors and epic iconography that permeates the video’s sprinkling of electric rock’s visual masterpieces. Halt the video and look at the concert lineups—whose ticket price often was less than a fiver—then compare that era’s musical legacy to the utter dreck and filthy (c)rap that spews forth from every modern nozzle corporatism can implant into the modern societal body.

    The very air is giddy with the sense of release from Friday’s news-drop announcement that Robert Mueller has forwarded his report to Attorney General William Barr. The media are universally reporting that Mueller has no new indictments up his sleeve at this point. Which means that his special counsel probe is done. The report is the final work-product.

    As we noted earlier, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has already issued a threat to subpoena Mueller. He’s threatening to subpoena Barr as well, for good measure.

    Although some of the left-wing media have been halfheartedly preparing us for days to get a Mueller report with no “collusion” in it (Politico was still at it less than 24 hours ago), the cable news folks, other than Fox, have been pretty glum this evening (Friday).

    Richard: Yes the report is out, yes it is a big nothing burger. Will this get the Dems to stop screaming and get back to the job they were elected to do? No it doesn’t.

    The Dems have know all along that there was nothing in the report, they were weren’t trying to find any collusion between Trump and the Russians. They were trying to keep the crimes of the Obama Administration and the Clinton Campaign from being made public. The irony is that if they had kept their mouths shut, accepted the results of the election and acted like they normally do hardly any of the crimes we now know about would have become public knowledge.

    The Dems actions of getting Mueller appointed and the witch hunt started gave the few honest reporters left in the Corporate Media and the true journalists in the alternative media leads into the many crimes that were committed by the Obama people in their zeal to 1) Protect Obama by protecting Hillary. 2) Punish Donald Trump for daring to run for and win the Presidency. This fact upset the apple cart of the left as they were counting on Hillary to follow Obama and ensure that only Democrats could be elected to the White House. This prevented the US from becoming a one party nations, at least temporally since Hillary’s election would have touched off a massive Civil War.

    The Civil War was temporally stopped but the left is now the one that is going to start it. The lefts att3empt to frame Donald Trump while protecting Obama and Hillary have placed the rule of law in grave jeopardy and got an professional law enforcement task force from well outside of DC appointed to look into the many crimes of Mueller and the rest of the people involved in the attempted frame job. This investigation by professionals haven’t been leaking information like Mueller did, instead they have done their jop and according to the few rumors that come out from former law enforcement people there are many sealed indictments.

    These indictments will be made public in a few months and will the criminals will be either coming to trial or starting to serve their well deserved prison sentences in time for the election campaign in 2020. This scandal combined with the way the nation is rejecting the massive lurch into pure Marxism that the Dems have made since the 2018 election will ensure that the Dems lose big time. This loss will cause the radical left to turn even more violent, we can expect a series of riots in the Dem controlled big cities that will be very destructive. It is highly probable that they will also start the assassination campaign they are talking about on Social Media.

    The civil war this will start will also be pushed by the various Sheriffs in Dems states that have stood up and said they have had enough with enforcing unconstitutional laws. Right now they are talking about the new Red Flag gun laws that give the government to seize the privately owned firearms without any type of court action.

    President Trumps appointment of two conservatives to the Supreme Court and his unpublicized appointment of many more Conservatives to lower court seats that have been vacant for years is another irritant to the left. The appointment of people who believe in enforcement the laws instead of writing the laws is a major road block in the lefts path to the complete communization of the US.

    All of the above facts along with many I haven’t mentioned say that the left will have to use raw naked violence if they are to have any hope of taking over the US. Some time over the next 18 to 24 months it is going to be Game On for the forces of evil. and the people who have set semi quietly for many decades trying to stop the left in the US it will be a big finally as they see the constraints the law has placed on them slipping away.

    A highly disturbing video of a religious cleric brutally abusing a student has been doing rounds on social media sparking extreme anger amongst netizens.

    The video was also shared by acclaimed Pakistani singer Shehzad Roy on Thursday, who had called for action, urging people to help him identify and trace the cleric and locate the madrassah.

    Personal details of the cleric subjecting the student to severe physical abuse, torture and violence are yet to be ascertained.

    A similar incident had emerged in December last year, when a video of a religious cleric beating his students mercilessly with hose pipe surfaced on social media.

    Taking swift action against the scholar identified as Shabir Ahmed from Hyderabad, Sindh Police had arrested him after Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also took notice of the matter, directing Commissioner Hyderabad to submit a report regarding the incident.

  32. French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that soldiers will be deployed Saturday across the country to help maintain security during Yellow Vest protests. But the move has been met with fierce criticism.

    Authorities have vowed a ‘zero tolerance’ approach to this weekend’s protests. Paris police have banned the protesters from a large area in the west of the city, including the famed Champs-Elysees avenue, scene of last week’s destruction by hundreds of protestors, as well as the presidential palace and National Assembly.

    Similar bans have been announced in the centres of Toulouse, Bordeaux, Dijon, Rennes and the southern city of Nice where Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to meet Macron this weekend.

    However, the soldiers will be armed with automatic weapons, raising concerns about how they will respond if the protests turn violent.

    British Home Secretary Sajid Javid recently proscribed the Iranian terrorist proxy organization, Hezbollah (‘Party of God’) in its entirety under the UK Terrorism Act 2000, a government decision that the UK Parliament also recently approved.[1]

    Uighurs and other Muslim minorities who flee from China to Sweden will more easily be able to get a residence permit following a new decision from the Swedish Migration Agency.

    In a new official standpoint, the agency states that it is sufficient for someone to be an Uighur for them to face a risk of persecution, Sveriges Radio was first to report. This means that members of these minorities do not need to prove that they as individuals face a specific risk of persecution in order for their applications to be granted.

    “What we’ve seen is that there is quite far-reaching repression by the state. Where they can arrest and intern people without any criminal charges. People are put in what are described as ‘re-education camps’. This is happening arbitrarily,” Carl Bexelius, deputy head of the Migration Agency’s justice department, told the radio.

    Deportations of Uighurs were temporarily halted in Sweden in September, and according to the agency, the situation in the western Chinese region of Xinjiang has worsened.

    Bexelius said however that he didn’t think the new stance would lead to more Uighurs seeking asylum in Sweden.

    “We have relatively few asylum seekers from China, and we made the decision not to deport these groups back in September, and didn’t see an increase after that,” he explained.

    Beijing has rejected UN estimates that more than a million members of Muslim minorities are being held in internment camps.

    China says its restrictions on Muslim minorities, including ubiquitous police checkpoints and video surveillance, are intended to combat what it calls Islamic extremism and separatist elements in the far western province.

    Sweden will grant protection to all Uighurs seeking refugee status citing UN concerns China is holding up to a million in ‘re-education camps’.

    Uighurs will be granted refugee status in Sweden in an effort to protect the Turkic minority from alleged internment camps in China.

    The Swedish Migration Agency has declared that all Uighurs will be granted protection status, with their background sufficient evidence to justify they face persecution.

    UN experts and activists say ‘re-education camps’ hold up to a million of the mostly Muslim ethic minority despite China strongly denying any accusations of mistreatment.

    Many Uighurs have come out publicly saying their family have disappeared from contact, fearing they are being held in the camps.

    Sweden’s decision will make it easier for Uighurs to obtain asylum and residence permits in the country.

    Carl Bexelius, deputy head of Sweden’s Migration Agency told Sveriges Radio, Uighurs are being targeted in the western Xinjiang province of China.
