Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.
This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.
So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

I’m reading that Qc prosecutor will be seeking to increase the mosque shooter’s sentence from 40 to 50 years of imprisonment. I wonder who is behind this? And why?
Definitely not helpful toward the Muslims. Is it possible the government fears an Islamic attack against churches and synagogues and wants to set an example?
If yes, the prosecutors don’t understand the Islamic martyrdom ideology.

They lost an eye, a hand, or their face was disfigured. In a split second, their lives were turned upside down, sometimes simply because they were within or around a yellow vest protest. There are more than 2000, according to official figures, that have been injured during the yellow vest demonstrations. We have interviewed more than thirty of these victims located across France in recent weeks.

Kurdish SDF Kills Almost 40 Daesh Members in Syria’s Baghuz, Lost 3 Militias (sputniknews, Mar 12, 2019)
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201903121073156120-sdf-daesh-syria/
“The US-supported Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said on Tuesday that it had eliminated almost 40 members of the Daesh* terrorist organisation in the southeastern Syrian village of Baghuz but lost three militias during the ensuing clashes.
“Battles continue on several fronts, the [SDF] command confirmed that 38 IS [Daesh] militants were eliminated… The terrorists conducted two rocket attacks. We have 10 injured people and three killed”, Mustafa Bali, the head of the SDF press service, wrote on Twitter.
He also said that the US-led coalition, an SDF ally, had carried out 20 airstrikes on Baghuz, destroying Daesh arms depots, cars and a command centre.
The SDF announced on Sunday that it would resume operations against terrorists in Baghuz, which remains the last Daesh stronghold in Syria following the evacuation of civilians.
The Kurdish forces declared the final stage of its operation aimed at liberating Baghuz on February 9. Around 15,000 people have left the village since then and only militants remain, according to Bali.
Shortly before that, the SDF said it had captured more than 800 foreign Daesh fighters and 2,000 of their wives and children.

A video allegedly showing Daesh brides still loyal to the self-proclaimed caliphate yelling abusive words and saluting the terror group has emerged on the internet.
The clip shows several women dressed from head to toe in black, sitting with their children, in a truck taking them to a refugee camp from the Syrian city of Baghouz, the last stronghold of the terror group.
The women are heard shouting “baqiya”, presumably from Daesh’s slogan “baqiya wa tatamaddad”, which is translated as “remaining and expanding”, verbally abusing journalists and throwing water and bottles at the camera filming them…”
‘IRA’ claims responsibility for devices found in London and Glasgow – police (express, Mar 12, 2019)

“THE IRA has reportedly claimed responsibility for the devices found in London and Glasgow, police say.
The claim was recieved on Monday, March 11 by a media outlet in Northern Ireland using a recognised codeword. The claim was allegedly made by the terror organisation. The Met Police said in a statement: “The Metropolitan Police and Police Scotland are aware of the claim of responsibility for the devices that were received at three buildings in London and at the University of Glasgow on 5 and 6 March. The claim was received on Monday 11 March by a media outlet in Northern Ireland outlet using a recognised codeword.
“The claim was allegedly made on behalf of the ‘IRA’.
“The investigations into these devices continue and relevant enquiries are being made in relation to the claim that has been made.
“Given the packages received last week bore similarities to devices sent in the past which were linked to dissident groups associated with Northern Ireland-related terrorism, officers were already looking at this as a line of enquiry.
“However, we continue to keep an open mind and enquiries continue.”…”
German Military Accused of ‘Purging’ Populist Supporters (breitbart, Mar 12, 2019)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/03/12/german-military-accused-purging-populist-supporters/
“While the German army has long expelled those with neo-Nazi sympathies, there have been recent claims that they are now targetting supporters of the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD) for expulsion as well.
Investigations have alleged that the Bundeswehr have begun broadening the scope of who they consider not fit to serve in the forces which have included “sympathisers of the AfD and the Hungarian premier Viktor Orbán,” Il Giornale reports.
Around 64 of those discharged have been members of the hipster-right anti-mass migration Identitarian youth movement, according to Der Spiegel.
The Identitarians have long been under observation by the German security services and have been the target of raids by police in the past. In neighbouring Austria, the group was accused of forming a “mafia” organisation but were acquitted of the charges following a trial last year.
Another 64 cases are members of the so-called Reichsburger movement, who do not recognise the legitimacy of the current German constitution, and often hark back to the historic 19th-century German state.
The movement, which has been compared to various “sovereign citizen movements,” has also been the subject of raids including one in January of 2017 in which two suspects were arrested, accused of plotting violent attacks against migrants, Jews, and police officials.
Last year, the German domestic intelligence agency, the BfV, reported huge growth among members of the Reichsburger movement saying that numbers had gone from around 10,000 nationwide in 2016 to over 16,500 by the end of 2017.
The numbers contradict some of the official statistics given out by the Military Shielding Service (MAD) which said that only four soldiers had been kicked out of the forces in 2018.
An unnamed source told Der Spiegel that there were at least 450 actual suspected cases of far-right extremism.
The report comes just as the Bundeswehr and German Defence Minister Ursula Von der Leyen are at the heart of a new potential scandal.
The Bundeswehr is accused of spending far more money on advisors than they had previously admitted with some accusing the Ministry of Defence of purposely concealing the costs which total more than 660 million euros since 2014.”

Toronto: Why is the RCMP trying to recruit at a Muslim Brotherhood affiliated Mosque?
https://vladtepesblog.com/2019/03/10/toronto-why-is-the-rcmp-trying-to-recruit-at-a-muslim-brotherhood-affiliated-mosque/
Obama purged the US military of many real good officers and NCOP’s (probably Warrants and enlisted also) that believed in the Constitution and the rule of law. This is common in nations where the politicians plan on becoming oppressive.
It works in nations where the people have been disarmed, but not so well over here. The Dems are working hard to get massive heavy handed gun control laws passed on both the State and Federal levels. They are running into resistance from Country Sheriffs who are saying they won’t enforce unconstitutional laws.
Complicating matters for the Dems is the way States in flyover country keep passing 2nd Amendment friendly laws. 17 States have Constitutional Carry laws and several others have bills in their Legislatures.
Then there is the Convention of the States movement which is slowly gaining states, they don’t have the number to force a Constitutional Convention yet but they are getting there.
Then there is the movement to split several Dem controlled states to give the Conservative Rural areas new states that will respect their way of life instead of concentrating on the liberal cities. This movement probably doesn’t stand much chance unless there is a civil war. The last time a State was formed by splitting off from an existing state was West Virginia during the Civil war. Of course when California goes bankrupt the idea of splitting into 3 or 4 states may become popular enough to succeed.
Somali Parents Fly Sons to Africa to Escape Deadly Knife Violence in Khan’s London (breitbart, Mar 12, 2019)
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/03/12/somali-africa-london-knife-crime/
“Spiralling knife, drugs, and gang crime in London has been leading many concerned Somali parents to send their teenage offspring, who grew up in Britain, away to Africa for their own safety.
With 50 to 70 per cent of members of the Somali community in Islington, north London, “directly affected” by knife violence and ‘county lines’ drugs crime, mothers who arrived from the troubled African country during the 1990s told the Observer they felt they had “no choice” but to send their children away from an increasingly dangerous UK.
Sadia Ali, the treasurer of the Islington Somalia Forum and a mother of seven, said she sent her 15-year-old son away to live in the country she once fled as a result of the threat of local gang violence in London, telling the newspaper that many other families in the area have done likewise for their children’s safety.
“Hundreds of youngsters have been taken to Somalia, Somaliland and Kenya, some taken all the way to the rural areas. Parents feel they have no choice if they want their son to be safe,” she said.
Rakhia Ismail, Islington deputy mayor, added: “Sending them away has become the only way they can be safer. This issue of safety has been repeatedly raised by the community but nobody has listened. So many children have gone abroad. Two weeks ago, there was a stabbing and a child was taken back home two days later.”
Yusuf Sheikh Omar, a research associate at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, lamented last week that “knife crime in British cities has brought many young Somalis into the criminal justice system and claimed several lives”.
Young Somali men in Western nations are growing up “alienated and at risk of violence”, warned Dr Omar in the Conversation, where he argued that the demographic was “particularly susceptible to criminality and Islamist extremism” as a result of issues such as “marginalisation, poverty, unemployment, racism, identity crises [and] Islamophobia”.
Illustrating how Somalia is an increasingly safe country for migrants to return to, Breitbart London reported on the government of Denmark refusing to rule out deporting illegal Somali immigrants back to their homeland in the Horn of Africa. The Danish government asserts it is now becoming safe enough for them to return.
Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen raised the issue after a meeting with his Somali counterpart in Egypt recently. In December, the country’s migration minister Inger Støjberg had urged individuals from Somalia whose “life and health are no longer at risk” in their homelands to “return home and [help] rebuild the country”.”
“With 50 to 70 per cent of members of the Somali community in Islington, north London, “directly affected” by knife violence…”
With 50 to 70 per cent of members of the Somali community in Islington, north London, “directly involved” with knife violence…”
There, fixed that.
Maybe: “wielding the knives” ?
“the perps”?
It’s all meaningless drivel. Splash on malt vinegar and wrap it in the Times but there’s little difference between an American prison and Islington.
In a US penitentiary, Black men have longer life expectancies than their unincarcerated counterparts. In all urban American cores, the biggest killer of young Black men is (as usual): Other. Young. Black. Men. This demographic is its own deadliest enemy.
Why should things be any different for equally retarded Somalis? Given the run of a well-manicured West, they abuse their newfound freedom to reignite endless cannibal bloodbaths.
The only surprise would be if all this crapulence didn’t happen here. Small wonder that their cretinous spawn are safer in some homeland of a Third World $h!thølé where decent kitchen knives are difficult to afford or steal.
Will they still be collecting child benefit for children who are no longer here?If Somalia is safe for children, why are the parents still here. These are animals pretending that their lawlessness is our fault, maybe if they actually worked for a living like most people do,they would not have time to murder each other and passers by,like all of this imported scum, they want everything the white man has without working for it,so fuck off to Somalia we would be delighted to see the back of you
US envoy calls China’s Muslim camps ‘horrific,’ wants probe (abcnews, Mar 12, 2019)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/us-envoy-calls-chinas-muslim-camps-horrific-probe-61622096
“Describing China’s internment of an estimated 1 million Muslims as a “horrific situation,” a U.S. envoy on religion called Tuesday for an independent investigation into the detentions and for the release of those being held.
Sam Brownback, U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom, said China has done nothing to assuage concerns from the U.S. and others over the detention of Uighurs, Kazakhs and members of other Muslim minority groups.
“We’ve been putting out very clearly that this is a horrific situation that’s taking place in Xinjiang,” Brownback said in a telephone news conference with reporters, referring to the northwestern region that is home to most Chinese Muslims.
“It is just a very tragic and I think a horrific situation there,” he said.
At the end of a three-day visit to Taiwan, Brownback met with Lee Ching-yu, the wife of Taiwanese pro-democracy activist Lee Ming-che, who is serving a five-year prison sentence in China on charges of subverting state power.
Lee Ming-che’s physical condition has reportedly deteriorated markedly since his 2017 detention and Brownback said the meeting aimed to “try to highlight that and to call on the government of China to release him.”
China last week angrily protested Brownback’s earlier remarks made in Hong Kong that criticized Beijing’s polices toward religious minorities and accused the country of being “at war with faith.”
China’s officially atheist Communist government at first denied the existence of the internment camps in Xinjiang, but now says they are vocational training facilities aimed at countering Muslim radicalism and separatist tendencies.
China says Xinjiang has long been its territory and claims it is bringing prosperity and development to the vast, resource-rich region. Many among Xinjiang’s native ethnic groups say they are being denied economic options in favor of migrants from elsewhere in China and that their Muslim faith and unique culture and language are being gradually eradicated.
The camps sprang up over the past two years at extraordinary speed and on a massive scale, as monitored by satellite imagery. China maintains a massive security presence in Xinjiang and efforts to independently verify claims by Uighur activists are routinely blocked.
Brownback appeared undeterred by Beijing’s complaints over his earlier comments, describing China’s explanation of the reasons behind the camps as “completely unsatisfactory answers.”
China is already listed by the U.S. among the worst violators of religious freedom, and Brownback held open the possibility of sanctions and other punitive measures “if corrective actions aren’t taken.”
While making no commitments, Brownback held open the possibility of action toward individuals involved in the internments under The Global Magnitsky Act of 2016.
The act makes it possible to impose entry bans and targeted sanctions on individuals for committing human rights violations or acts of significant corruption.
Brownback also contrasted Beijing’s attacks on religion with the tolerant approach of liberal governments such as that of Taiwan, a self-governing island democracy that China claims as its own territory. He said Washington would continue to push for dialogue among all faiths to promote religious freedom worldwide.
“The administration is serious about religious freedom matters and deeply concerned about what’s taking place in China,” Brownback said.”
China says Muslim ‘training’ centers will slowly disappear (abcnews, Mar 12, 2019)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/china-muslim-training-centers-slowly-disappear-61623692
“Heavily guarded internment camps for Muslims which China calls vocational training centers will gradually disappear if there comes a time that “society does not need” them, regional authorities said Tuesday.
The camps in the far-west Xinjiang region have elicited an international outcry, with former inmates describing harsh conditions in which Muslim minorities are subject to political indoctrination and psychological torture. Human rights groups, researchers and the U.S. government estimate around 1 million people from the predominantly Muslim Uighur and Kazakh ethnic groups are held in a network of compounds spread throughout the vast region.
At a news conference on the sidelines of the annual meeting of China’s ceremonial legislature, Xinjiang Gov. Shohrat Zakir declined to disclose the number of what he called “trainees.” But he said the figure is “far less” than 1 million and described extensive reports on conditions in the camps as “pure fabrications.”
While China initially denied the existence of the system of internment camps, in the face of growing global condemnation it now says it has established “vocational training centers” where people vulnerable to the lure of religious extremism are enrolled in free legal and language classes and can learn practical work skills.
Zakir said the camps do not target any particular faith, though religious activities are banned in the camps. Ex-detainees say the overwhelming majority of those in the camps are Muslim.
“We fully ensure freedom of religion,” including accommodating Muslim “trainees'” desire for halal food, Zakir said, adding that they can request time off and go home on weekends, “like many boarding schools.”
Like his immediate predecessors as Xinjiang governor, Zakir is from the region’s native Uighur ethnic group, providing a public face for the government and its claims that Xinjiang is an autonomous region. However, the real decision-making power resides with the region’s ruling Communist Party chief, who is most often part of the country’s Han Chinese ethnic majority.
Current Xinjiang Party Secretary Chen Quanguo is known for hard-line policies which he previously enacted while serving in the same capacity in the Buddhist region of Tibet. Observers say Chen has now brought an even greater degree of heavy security and surveillance to Xinjiang, where police checkpoints and facial recognition-equipped CCTV cameras have become ubiquitous in recent years.
U.S. envoy on religion Sam Brownback commented on the “horrific situation” in Xinjiang during a telephone news conference Tuesday. He said China has provided “completely unsatisfactory answers” for why the camps exist, and held open the possibility of punitive measures such as sanctions “if corrective actions aren’t taken.”
Several Xinjiang officials at the briefing Tuesday said they welcome visits by journalists to the region to understand realities on the ground. Yet foreign journalists who have tried to independently report in Xinjiang in recent years have been followed by police, detained and ordered to delete their footage.
China maintains that the region’s security measures are necessary for combating latent religious extremism. Over the past decade, violence blamed on Uighur radicals — including riots and a mass stabbing at a train station — have killed hundreds.
Zakir repeated China’s claim that there have been no violent incidents in Xinjiang for more than two years. He added, however, that there remains a “long fight” ahead for efforts to defeat extremism.
“We cannot relax one bit,” Zakir said.”
China says Muslim ‘training’ centers will slowly disappear
Much like how Falun Dafa, too, will “slowly disappear”.
Islamic State group calls on followers to avenge Syria siege (abcnews, Mar 12, 2019)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/islamic-state-audio-calls-followers-avenge-syria-push-61622946
“Besieged by U.S.-backed forces in their last foothold in eastern Syria, Islamic State militants are calling on supporters across the world to stage attacks in their defense, according to a newly released audio recording.
The recording, purportedly from IS, came as the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces continued to face stiff resistance Tuesday from IS gunmen as U.S.-backed fighters try to push deeper into the village of Baghouz on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River.
The brief, minute-and-a half recording, released by IS supporters on social media and reported by the SITE Intelligence Group late on Monday said that men, women and children in Baghouz are being subjected to a “holocaust by the Crusaders,” which is militant jargon for the U.S.-led coalition against IS.
In the audio, an unidentified IS militant calls on Muslim “brothers, in Europe and in the whole world” to “rise against the Crusaders and … take revenge for your religion.” As the man speaks, cracks of gunfire can be heard in the background, apparently meant to suggest that he is in Baghouz.
“Crusaders warplanes” and “Kurdish atheists” are attacking his people, the man says. The recording’s authenticity couldn’t be independently verified.
The U.S.-backed forces resumed their offensive against the Islamic State group on Sunday night, after thousands of civilians and hundreds of fighters left the last sliver held by the extremists. Since then, 38 militants and three SDF fighters have been killed, according to SDF spokesman Mustafa Bali.
Argish al-Deiri, an SDF commander in Baghouz who identified himself by his nom de guerre told The Associated Press on Tuesday that his men advanced overnight and secured some positions on the edge of a tent settlement where IS militants are making their last stand.
“We entered the camp, then stopped,” he said. “There was resistance, and we withdrew. The planes struck the ammunition depot,” setting off explosions that halted the push.
He said IS militants were fighting back with heavy weapons, rifles and sniper fire, forcing SDF fighters to slow their advance rather than advancing quickly so that “you don’t lose your men.”
He said he hoped the IS fighters will surrender in the coming “few days.”
The capture of Baghouz would be a milestone in the devastating four-year campaign to defeat IS’s so-called “caliphate,” which once covered a vast territory straddling both Syria and Iraq.”
Philippine forces kill several militants in new offensive (abcnews, Mar 12, 2019)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/philippine-forces-kill-militants-offensive-61622631
“Philippine troops, backed by airstrikes and artillery fire, killed several militants aligned with the Islamic State group in a new offensive in the marshy heartland of the country’s south, the military said Tuesday.
Army Maj. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana said several key commanders, including a long-wanted Singaporean militant, were among the more than 100 militants who came under attack at daybreak Monday in the hilly hinterland near Shariff Saydona Mustapha town in Maguindanao province.
One soldier was killed and seven others were wounded in the firefight in the village of Inaladan, where rocket-firing air force helicopters and bomber planes pounded a militant camp before army troops came in. The militants split into groups and withdrew, Sobejana said.
Sporadic gunbattles were continuing Tuesday as troops pursued the militants belonging to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters and the Dawla Islamiya, two small groups aligned with the Islamic State group. At least six bodies of suspected militants were found at the scene of the clashes, military officials said.
Sobejana said up to 20 militants may have been killed but troops were still attempting to take full control of the camp, where most of the slain gunmen were hit by the airstrikes and artillery fire.
Troops were checking if Singaporean militant Muhamad Ali Abdul Rahiman, also known as Muawiya, along with local commander Esmael Abdulmalik, who uses the nom de guerre Abu Toraype, and bomb-maker Salahudin Hassan were among the wounded or slain militants, he said.
“The objective is to eliminate these armed groups once and for all,” Sobejana said.
The militants have been blamed for recent deadly bombings in the region and shootings that killed four soldiers in Maguindanao. The militants include former members of the largest Muslim rebel group, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, which signed a peace deal with the government and whose leaders now head a new Muslim autonomous region that includes Maguindanao.
Thousands of fighters in the Moro Islamic Liberation Front are to be demobilized under the peace deal. Sobejana said the Moro rebels were not tapped by the military to help fight the extremists to help them shift to normal life.
Among the militants targeted by Monday’s offensive were survivors of a deadly siege of southern Marawi city by Islamic State group-aligned militants in May 2017 which was quelled by troops after five months. The militants suffered their largest loss of commanders in Marawi in a serious blow to the Islamic State group’s effort to gain a foothold in the region.
In a separate army offensive Monday, troops clashed with more than 20 Muslim militants near Pagayawan town in Lanao del Sur province not far from Marawi in fighting that killed two soldiers and two militants, army Col. Romeo Brawner said.”

Tucker Carlson Blasts Liberal ‘Mob’ After Comments Unearthed: ‘They’ve Been Working Hard to Kill This Show’
by Josh Feldman | Mar 11th, 2019, 8:24 pm 2577
Tucker Carlson railed against the liberal “mob” tonight in response to the Media Matters report on his past comments.
By now you’ve probably heard Carlson’s comments, or at least heard about them, unearthed by Media Matters from multiple interviews he did several years ago with Bubba the Love Sponge. The comments ranged from Carlson dropping the c-word to “I am not defending underage marriage at all, I just don’t think it’s the same thing exactly as pulling a child from a bus stop and sexually assaulting that child.”

Zuckerberg Wants Facebook to Build a Mind-Reading Machine
For those of us who worry that Facebook may have serious boundary issues when it comes to the personal information of its users, Mark Zuckerberg’s recent comments at Harvard should get the heart racing.
Zuckerberg dropped by the university last month ostensibly as part of a year of conversations with experts about the role of technology in society, “the opportunities, the challenges, the hopes, and the anxieties.” His nearly two-hour interview with Harvard law school professor Jonathan Zittrain in front of Facebook cameras and a classroom of students centered on the company’s unprecedented position as a town square for perhaps 2 billion people. To hear the young CEO tell it, Facebook was taking shots from all sides—either it was indifferent to the ethnic hatred festering on its platforms or it was a heavy-handed censor deciding whether an idea was allowed to be expressed.

MEMRI -Egyptian-German Scholar: Peculiar Alliance between Fundamentalist Islam, Turkish Nationalism
Egyptian-German scholar Hamed Abdel-Samad said in a video that was uploaded to the Internet on March 3, 2019 that conservative narrow-minded Islam with a touch of Salafism and Muslim Brotherhood ideology shares a peculiar alliance with Turkish nationalism and pro-Erdogan sentiment in European cities like Berlin, Malmö, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Aarhus.
He said that these people live off of Western social security benefits while at the same time saying that Erdogan will crush the West.

outh Korean officials are warning North Korean leader Kim Jong-un about using nuclear weapons as leverage in deals with the U.S.
In a panel discussion Tuesday, South Korean presidential adviser Moon Chung-in said nuclear threats would be “catastrophic” for global diplomacy.
This comes after American websites released satellite photos revealing restored structures at a North Korean long-range launch facility, which were dismantled last year at the start of denuclearization talks.

Germany: Iraqi man’s trial for rape and murder sparks protest in Wiesbaden
A 22-year old Iraqi suspect headed to court in Wiesbaden on Tuesday, as the murder trial of a schoolgirl who was raped and murdered began.
People were seen gathering in front of the courthouse, holding banners reading ‘No soft justice for Muslims’ and ‘Hand in hand against violence on our streets’, condemning the crime.
Ali B, who arrived in Germany in 2015 as an asylum seeker, is accused of raping and then strangling 14-year-old Susanna Feldman from Mainz in May 2018. The suspect, who is facing separate charges for beating a man during a robbery and raping an 11-year old girl, admitted to murder but denied the charge of rape.
The high-profile crime stoked anti-refugee tensions with the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party blaming German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s refugee policies for the murder.
Venezuela give U.S. diplomats 72 hours to leave, blames Trump for blackout
CARACAS (Reuters) – Venezuela ordered American diplomats to leave the country within 72 hours on Tuesday after President Nicolas Maduro accused U.S. counterpart Donald Trump of cyber “sabotage” that plunged the OPEC nation into its worst blackout on record.
Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza said U.S. diplomats on Venezuelan soil must leave within three days, after talks broke down over maintaining diplomatic “interest sections” in the two countries.

UN Investigating North Korean Arms Dealers in Iran
The UN is investigating two North Korean missile and arms companies suspected of operating in Iran in possible violation of international sanctions, according to a report by a UN panel of experts.
The presidents of top North Korean regime arms firms, KOMID, which exports equipment for ballistic missiles, and Green Pine, which sells conventional arms, recently traveled to Iran.
The two North Korean arms firms – both blacklisted by the UN – are “extremely active in Iran now,” said Hugh Griffiths, coordinator of the UN panel assessing sanctions on North Korea.

U.S. expands return of asylum seekers to Mexico to new ports of entry
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States is expanding its program to send asylum seekers back to Mexico to wait out their U.S. court proceedings and so far has returned 240 people since starting the program in January, U.S. officials told reporters on Tuesday.
The officials from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said the policy, which was rolled out at the San Ysidro port of entry in San Diego earlier this year, has been expanded to the Calexico port, which is also in Southern California on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Open borders activists target private prison finances – to make it harder to hold illegals
By Daily Caller News Foundation March 11, 2019
Immigration activists see their campaign to get banks to divest from private prison companies as a backdoor way to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by taking away its capacity to detain illegals caught crossing the southern border.
“It goes even beyond ICE,” Daniel Carrillo, executive director of Freedom to Thrive, told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “Immigration should be a right.”
Freedom to Thrive, formerly known as Enlace, has pushed major financial institutions and banks, including JPMorgan Chase, to divest from private prisons since 2010, Carrillo said. The group’s stated goal is to “end the punishment-based criminal and immigration systems.”

The Left’s refusal to distinguish between illegal aliens and true immigrants could prove deadly
By LU Staff March 12, 2019
Among the biggest dangers inherent in the wave of migrants now flooding across our southern border is the Left’s refusal to distinguish between those who legally apply for resident status and those who sneak into the country. Liberals are fond of referring to the latter group as undocumented workers, claiming that the real designation — illegal alien — is dehumanizing.
But this distinction is more than just a matter of nomenclature. As the numbers of those seeking to enter the country swell to unprecedented proportions, the potential for a public health crisis emerges. As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes:

His jape about “Soviet-style Hotel California Superstate” wanted only slight updating. Perhaps a reboot from, “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!” (1976), over to the far more apropos, “Roaches check in, but they don’t check out!” (1981).
Seriously, ‘Roach Motel Superstate’ has some real meme potential.
That it does, we both need to work on that one.
LILLEY: SNC scandal is blocking out other big stories
While the politics of this country remain fully focused on the SNC-Lavalin scandal that has taken over the Trudeau government over the last month, the PM himself is focused on sun and sand in Florida.
That’s right, Justin Trudeau is likely to be showing up topless in your social media feeds shortly as the best way to try and distract you from his alleged attempt to rig the justice system in favour of the well connected.
While Trudeau wants us to forget, internationally people are starting to take notice.
No, I’m not just talking about the international media, though headlines have popped up about Trudeau’s troubles around the world and I personally have been contacted by chase producers in the United States, the U.K. and New Zealand to talk about them.
Instead, I’m talking about the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development, specifically their unit tasked with looking into bribery.
“The OECD Working Group on Bribery is concerned by recent allegations of interference in the prosecution of SNC-Lavalin that are subject to proceedings in the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights,” reads a statement from the group issued Monday.
The group says it “will closely monitor” the situation.
Is this what Trudeau meant when he promised to put Canada back on the world stage?
Meanwhile, here at home, major stories that would give any government pause for concern are sliding past with hardly any notice because all the political oxygen is being sucked up by the SNC-Lavalin scandal.
It was just over a week ago that Statistics Canada reported horrible economic growth numbers.
Real gross domestic product slowed down to 0.1% in the fourth quarter. Compare that to growth of 2.6% in the United States in the same period.
Meanwhile, back in Canada, real gross national income fell 1% mostly due to the low price Canadian oil was fetching on world markets.
Those are the kinds of economic numbers that should shake any government. Trudeau, and the rest of the country, barely noticed because we are trying to figure out if having friends in the PMO can actually get you out of criminal prosecution.
Last Friday’s job numbers were sold as good news and they were but for Ontario’s Doug Ford, not for Justin Trudeau.
The country added 56,000 jobs in February, mostly full-time — but also mostly in Ontario.
From the Statistics Canada news release: “Ontario was the sole province with a notable employment gain in February.”
Newfoundland, PEI, Nova Scotia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan all lost jobs last month.
The 7,200 jobs lost in those provinces almost equate to the 9,000 SNC-Lavalin jobs that Trudeau is so desperate to save.
Meanwhile, China revoked the permit of Richardson International Ltd, one of Canada’s largest grain processors, to allow the company to export canola into the Chinese market.
The move puts thousands of jobs from farmers to suppliers to handlers in jeopardy.
What is the government doing about it?
On the face of it nothing. The Liberals are too preoccupied with SNC, both the scandal and saving the company at any cost.
Is it any wonder that many Canadians, especially in Western Canada, feel that Trudeau really only governs for Quebec and doesn’t care about them?
The SNC scandal, and these other stories, show that the Trudeau government has lost its ability to govern morally or effectively.

SAUDI ARABIA – Plane turns around after Muslim mom realizes she left baby at airport
A Malaysia-bound plane made a U-turn for a frantic Muslima who realized that she forgot her baby back at the airport in Saudi Arabia, according to reports.
The pilot of Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight SV832 made the rare request to air traffic controllers shortly after takeoff, when the passenger told crew members that she had left her child at the terminal in Jeddah, Gulf News reported.
“May Allah be with us. Can we come back [to King Abdulaziz International Airport]?” the pilot can be heard asking air traffic controllers, according to an online video, the news outlet reported.
“This flight is requesting to come back,” the pilot then tells a colleague. “A passenger forgot her baby in the waiting area, the poor thing.”
The pilot is then heard saying to the air traffic operator: “I told you, a passenger has left her baby in the terminal and she is refusing to continue the flight,” according to The Guardian.
The flight ultimately was permitted to return to the airport.
“OK, head back to the gate,” one of the air traffic controllers said during the exchange. “This is totally a new one for us.”

There’s Enough Evidence To Justify A Criminal Investigation Into Ocasio-Cortez, Former FEC Commissioner Says
A former member of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) called for an investigation Sunday into alleged campaign finance violations by Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her top aide Saikat Chakrabarti.
Ocasio-Cortez and Chakrabarti have, since December 2017, held legal authority over Justice Democrats, the outside PAC credited with orchestrating her upset primary victory over incumbent Democratic New York Rep. Joe Crowley in June 2018, The Daily Caller News Foundation reported last week.

Trump Will Strip California Of Its Ability To Regulate CO2 From Cars
The Trump administration is done trying to negotiate with California, and will move forward with plans to revoke the state of its authority to set tougher fuel efficiency standards.

Campus Anti-Semitism Comes to Congress
In less than a decade, campus Jew-hate leaped from campus to Congress.
March 12, 2019
Daniel Greenfield
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Rep. Ilhan Omar both graduated from college in 2011. In less than a decade, campus anti-Semitism had made the great leap from campus to Congress.
2011 was a banner year for campus anti-Semitism in alliance with its progressive leftist allies.
Last year, the Trump administration reopened an investigation into campus anti-Semitism at Rutgers University in 2011 that had been shut down by Obama officials back in 2014. The shutdown of the investigation, like the similar shutdowns of terrorism investigations, were part of a pattern.
The investigation was reopened by Kenneth Marcus, the new Assistant Education Secretary for Civil Rights, a Jewish civil rights leader whose appointment Senate Democrats had stalled for 8 months, and whose confirmation every single Senate Democrat voted against.
“We don’t care about anti-Semitism in this office.” The Marcus confirmation battle had become infamous for a senior aide to Senator Patty Murray declaring. “We care about transgenders, we care about blacks, we care about Hispanics, we care about gays, we care about lesbians.”

Dem House Passes Anti-Democratic Election Overhaul
Welcome to the Left’s election theft wish list.
March 12, 2019
Matthew Vadum
The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives passed an outrageous legislative assault on fair elections and the First Amendment last week that would drive up the occurrence of the voter fraud Democrats increasingly rely on to win elections.
The House approved H.R. 1, dubbed the proposed “For the People Act,” on a strict party line vote of 234 to 193 on March 8. Conservatives quite correctly denounced the measure as a “voter fraud and election theft” wish list.
Even the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) trashed the bill, saying it would “unconstitutionally infringe on the speech and associational rights of many public interest organizations and American citizens.”
In a tweet, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) described H.R. 1 as the “Democrat Politician Protection Act,” after previously saying the measure was “a massive power grab.”
“What is the problem that we’re trying to solve here? We had the highest turnout last year since 1966 in an off-year election,” McConnell reportedly said March 6. “People are flooding to the polls … because they’re animated. They’re interested. This is a solution in search of a problem. What it really is, is designed to make it more likely that Democrats win more often.”

“The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is willing to provide material aid to Syrian Kurdish forces if they are attacked by Turkey in northern Syria, a senior PUK Peshmerga official said.
Speaking to The Defense Post in northern Iraq, Mustafa Chawrash said the PUK would offer “anything that is within our capabilities” to assist the Syrian People’s Protection Units, or YPG, if a U.S. drawdown from Syria is met with a Turkish attack on the force.
Chawrash, head of the PUK Peshmerga’s administrative bureau and a veteran commander, said that his side would not be able to send fighters, but would be ready to provide weapons and financial aid, as well as medical assistance.
“Because we are part of Iraq, we cannot send troops outside. But in terms of ammunition, financial, taking care of their injured, any kind of help that would be beneficial to them,” Chawrash explained.
“Anything that’s within our capabilities, we would love to help them,” he said.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been threatening to clear areas of northern Syria of the YPG, a core component of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the Coalition’s partner on the ground against ISIS in northern Syria.
Turkey considers the YPG a terrorist organization due to its ties to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, which has fought an insurgency in the country since the 1980s…”

20 Resistance Groups Created near Zionist Regime Borders: Iranian General (tasnimnews, Mar 12, 2019)
https://www.tasnimnews.com/en/news/2019/03/12/1967656/20-resistance-groups-created-near-zionist-regime-borders-iranian-general
“The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) deputy commander for coordination said since Lebanon’s historic victory in the 33-day war of 2006 against Israel, 20 Resistance Groups like Hezbollah have been created.
“Over the past 40 years, we were successful wherever we stepped up to the plate,” Brigadier General Ali Fadavi said in a speech in Tehran on Tuesday.
“A few years before the 33-day war, the US and the Zionists were in a constant panic lest a group called Hezbollah would be created near Palestine’s occupied territories,” he said.
“But after the 33-day war, 20 groups similar to Hezbollah were created near their borders,” the commander added.
“Indeed, if they had not tried to destroy Lebanon during the 33-day war in Lebanon, they would not have seen the formation of these groups along the borders of the occupied territories,” he went on to say.
The Tel Aviv regime launched two wars on Lebanon in 2000 and 2006. About 1,200 Lebanese, most of them civilians, were killed in the 33-Day War of 2006.
On both occasions, however, Hezbollah resistance movement’s fighters defeated the Israeli forces and Tel Aviv was forced to retreat without achieving any of its objectives.
The conflict in 2006, also known as the July War, took place in Lebanon, northern parts of Occupied Palestine and the Golan Heights.
It started in July 2006, and continued until a United Nations-brokered ceasefire went into effect in the morning on August 14 that year, though it formally ended on September 8 when Israel lifted its naval blockade of Lebanon.”

“The Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen attacked on Tuesday the government team of the Redeployment Coordination Committee in Yemen’s Hodeidah city, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
The militants fired a Katyusha rocket at the gatherers of a meeting that was preparing to carry out the first phase of the redeployment.
A source from the government team accused the Houthis of seeking to obstruct any positive effort by the legitimate government to salvage the Sweden deal on Hodeidah.
He added that today’s attack “was not the first and may not be last”.
The Houthis had previously targeted former head of the redeployment team, Patrick Cammaert, by opening fire at his convoy in Hodeidah.”
