          Empire actor Jussie Smollett appears to be in serious trouble after it has been revealed by multiple sources that the alleged “hate crime” he was a victim of was actually a hoax, orchestrated and paid for by himself. The original story was that two racist, white, hateful, racist, and homophobic “Trump supporters” attacked him at 2 am in Chicago outside of a local Subway sandwich shop with bleach and a rope that they tied around his neck.

          NOW the true story has been revealed which is that Jussie Smollett paid two Nigerian actors to stage a fake hate crime. The actors are brothers who are from Chicago and have been extras on Jussie’s TV show Empire before. Phone records, facial recognition from ACE Hardware where they purchased the “rope” that was actually a thin piece of clothesline, the brothers’ own testimony and phone records from the brothers and Jussie all match up.

          At one point, the brothers were suspects in this incident which could have carried a very serious penalty due to potential hate crime charges. They are no longer suspects and Jussie is no longer seen as the victim in the case by the Chicago police. A total of twelve Chicago Police Department detectives were dedicated to this case. The FBI is also involved due to the incident being a potential hate crime and also the letter which was allegedly sent to Jussie before the event that included a threat and a white powder substance that was later revealed to be Tylenol.

          Several top politicians immediately condemned the initial reporting of the story as a hate crime that should never happen anywhere to anyone, including Presidential hopefuls Senators Kamala Harris and Cory Booker. They are backers of anti-lynching legislation that has passed the Senate but not the House. Cory Booker immediately used the incident to promote the legislation. It is unclear if anyone else other than Jussie and the paid actors were involved with this situation, but there are certainly more questions that need to be answered in the very near future.

    A grand jury will hear the Jussie Smollett case early next week … law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

    Law enforcement sources connected to the investigation tell TMZ, the 2 brothers who were arrested and then released are staying somewhere around the Loop in downtown Chicago under the watchful eye of police so no one gets to them. We’re told cops especially want to make sure Jussie does not contact the brothers.

    We’re told when police raided the home of the 2 brothers they found magazines with pages torn out, and authorities are now trying to determine if the missing pages are connected to the threatening letter that was sent to Jussie 8 days before the alleged attack.

    Our sources say early on they asked Jussie if he’d sign complaints against the 2 men who attacked him and he was clear that he would. But, when he found out the 2 brothers were the ones in custody we’re told he said he knew them, felt bad for them and declined to sign the complaints.

    Our sources say although cops believe the brothers purchased the rope that was around Jussie’s neck after the incident, there is no surveillance video at the hardware store because it erases after a week.

    We’re told the way they tracked the 2 brothers down was by their movements in arriving and leaving the scene around Jussie’s apartment building. As we reported, they left in either a cab or an Uber, but we’re told cops tracked the vehicle and the 2 brothers got out on their way home and into another vehicle. As one source put it, “It was almost like a bad spy movie.”

    Jussie and his lawyer have vehemently denied the attack was staged, maintaining this was a hate crime.
