This moving video clip desperately needed some intercuts using smuggled images from North Korea. Ones that show the capitol’s empty streets and store shelves, widespread hunger, perfunctory cross-border family reunions, lethal border security, and the country’s endemic malnourishment.
The cosseted and well-fed chap being interviewed wasn’t the most sympathetic choice of characters to put in front of the camera.
Required viewing as is? Absolutely.
