  1. American Thinker –The Muslim Authoritarian Mentality
    By Amil Imani

For thousands of years, Arabs lived in an authoritarian paternalistic culture. There was always a headman, a chief, a dictator, or a know-it-all who had the answers or resources who had to be followed and obeyed. This “follower mentality” had great heuristic value. It freed the masses from the often arduous task of thinking for themselves, taking responsibility, and tackling problems. It was always easier to let someone else do all those chores and simply follow his directives. This type of mentality was ideal for Muslims who did not want to think for themselves.

Authoritarian paternalistic culture ruled the Arabs for as far back as historical records show. Arabs were always headed by an autocratic man. At times, there were councils, all male and usually advisory in function with no or little executive power. The headman embodied in himself all authority: the legislative, the judiciary, and the executive.

The system was a top-down hierarchy, where all directives and decisions were dictated from the top, and all people were to serve the top and at the pleasure of the top.

A father in the family and a father figure of some kind in the larger group always ruled. The man on top, a father or a father figure, was adhered to as the authority, followed, and obeyed.

Islam is custom-made and perfectly suited for people who are accustomed to being treated like children. Being a Muslim is a bargain of sorts. The believer continues to remain in a child mentally while aging. His part of the bargain is the total surrender to Islam. In return, Islam promises to supply him surefire answers as well as a perfect roadmap for this life and guaranteed bliss in the afterlife.

In other words, the Muslim’s mind is imprinted with authoritarianism, which starts with the supreme authority, Allah, through his one and only prophet, Muhammad; his caliphs or imams; and the high-ranking religious divines all the way down to the village clergy. This authoritarian mentality encompasses all aspects of life for the Muslim – the king and his dominion as the viceroy of God, the emir and his despotic ways, the khan and his unchallenged rule over the tribe, the village headsman and his extensive power, and finally the father and his iron grip at home over the women and children. All these authority figures are male.

The authoritarian type poses numerous problems and presents many ramifications – ramifications much too important and complex to be comprehensively treated here. For now, it is important to understand that a person with the authoritarian personality is an extremist. He can be docility itself under certain circumstances and a maniacal, murdering brute under others. He is the type who would just as happily kill or die, when he is directed to do so. He would, for instance, gladly strap on an explosive vest, in obedience to a superior’s order, and detonate it in a crowd of innocent civilians without the slightest hesitation.

From birth onward, a Muslim’s brain is packed with the notion that everything in life is predicated on the will of Allah. Allah is in charge of all things at all times. Allah is very much a hands-on God. He does the thinking, he does the ordaining, and he decides the outcome for everything large and small. And since Allah is the all-knowing as well as the all-everything, the duty of the faithful is unquestioned obedience in all matters, irrespective of any and all contradictory evidence.

All disproving and contradictory evidence about the Islamic precepts is labeled as deceptive machinations of the accursed Satan. Hence, it is the sacred duty of the believer to put his Islamic blinders on and submit wholeheartedly and unhesitatingly to what is preached to him. It is within this deeply engrained mindset of the Muslim that he rarely says anything or commits to anything without the preamble of enshallah – if it is the will of Allah. In a way, this is a great out for the Muslim. If he wants to do it and does it, Allah willed it. If he doesn’t want to do it and doesn’t do it, Allah didn’t see it fit.

It is this type of mentality that is, in large part, responsible for Muslim’s fatalistic pathological system – the Islamic powers that be want to protect their valued stranglehold on the masses by keeping them in the darkness of ignorance and preventing them from being exposed to the light of truth.

Why is it that the Muslims are hell-bent on passing laws and resolutions of the sort they are pushing?

Because Islam is loaded with faulty and bizarre beliefs as well as many primitive, discriminatory, and shameful practices. So Muslims need to build a steel fence around their corral of absurdity to protect it from crumbling under the assaults of truth. They have much to hide and fear exposure the most.

Why is it that these followers of Allah don’t mention any other religion besides Islam for the privilege they are seeking?

Because to Muslims, Islam is the super-religion and final religion of Allah. Judaism and Christianity are the only other two religions that are granted a grudging minimal recognition by Islam. All other religions and those without religion are blasphemy and blasphemous.

In short: No belief system or set of ideas, be they religious, scientific, philosophical, political, or otherwise, should be protected from open, honest criticism. It is up to the individual consumer to decide for himself, to the best of his ability and the compelling nature of the information, the value and veracity of any offering in a marketplace of free ideas.

    • This is exactly what the communists and the Nazis copied and the effect? within 8 years of taking over the German schools, the Nazis were churning out HJ fanatics all prepared to die for der Fuhrer (probably 30-50% of the total). Anyone who disputes this should read accounts by those who fought against the 12th SS HJ division or the mostly censored reports of the actions of the Werwolfen from 1945 to 1948(This was absolutely hushed up by the allies and only ended in the west thanks to the Berlin blockade but in the east??). In the USSR communism was to a degree undermined by Russian scepticism (innate WRT authority) but it still worked on the “intellectuals”(those who consider themselves as such) and the associated violent repression of the rest made acquiescence a formality. Never underestimate the long term effects of schoolchild indoctrination as it creates bonds that few can break. To do so requires willpower and intelligence and an ability to handle life as an outsider.

      • Stage hypnotists always look out for intellectuals, (those who believe in being led by their mind), because with one subtle sugggestion they will believe they thought it all up for themselves.

    • Islam is custom-made and perfectly suited for people who are accustomed to being treated like children.

Which, kinda, explains their preference for children. Eh?

    • “How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.”

When the soul has been knocked out of you, “yes boss,” is the only God they know. When Communists fear in their hearts of being taken in the night; “yes Comrade,” will put it right. And pronouns to placate the Sexual Appetites that need offense to grown.

        Superb scribbling, Perfectchild!

I know how much you prize your poetry but the foregoing is some of the very best I’ve seen from your electronic pen.

Thank you so much for drawing such a crucial and meaningful comparison between Islam’s, “yes boss”, and Communism’s, “yes Comrade”.

Both of these ideologies are (pseudo) “faiths” whose dicta are dotted out upon repeatedly bleached and scoured palimpsests.

        From Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn:

Part I The Prison Industry, Ch. 1 “Arrest” (p3, The Gulag Archipelago, Collins 1974)

        — “What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, polkers, or whatever else was at hand?

Had they only, “set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, polkers, or whatever else was at hand”.

Very few did. The moving finger writes; and, having writ, moves on.

Your final, “need offense to grow”, counter-punch might be best of all, Perfectchild. This fundament of victim-mentality requires the most abrupt and immediate dislodging from beneath the LGBTQXYZ soapbox.

The destruction of early Iranian culture by newcomer Islamic Shiites will eventually emerge as something that eclipses Taliban demolition of the Bamiyan Buddhas.

      For comparison:

In the Bible Satan is called “the god of this age” (2 Corinthians 4:4) and “the prince of this world” (John 12:31; 16:11).

In the words of Jesus, “He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). Indeed, all the sin of the world is patterned after Satan: “He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning” (1 John 3:8). It is he “who leads the whole world astray” (Revelation 12:9).

      • How can anyone read that and then read the Koran saying Allah is the greatest of deceivers and not make the connection?

  5. Did North Korea Fake the Demolition of its Underground Nuclear Test Site?

    (NR: Salt to taste.)

When North Korea blew up its nuclear test site at Punggye-ri last month it was supposed to be a goodwill gesture that would highlight Pyongyang’s willingness to negotiate with the United States. At the time, some warned the move was symbolic anyway because the nuclear test site may have run its course and may no longer have been usable. Now CNN is reporting analysts are saying the whole thing may have been even more symbolic than that and the explosion was likely all a charade for the invited foreign journalists.

Many were already skeptical considering North Korea invited foreign journalists to witnesss the supposed destruction of the nuclear test site but not weapons experts. We may now know why as analysts say the explosions appeared to be a tad small to actually have destroyed the site. “The fact that journalists were reportedly only around 500 meters from the explosions is a good indication that these were small blasts,” an official told CNN. “And the amount of dust leads us to believe that they were quite superficial.”

U.S. intelligence analysts also appears to back up this skepticism, notes CNN. Preliminary studies suggest the explosions were not strong enough to actually destroy the underground tunnels.

As Trump made official Friday that the June 12 Singapore summit is back on schedule, the president also seems willing to accept the path to denuclearization may be longer than he initially predicted. “June 12th, we’ll be in Singapore,” Trump said after meeting with Kim Yong-chol, the highest-ranking Pyongyang official to visit the White House in 18 years. “It will be a beginning. I don’t say and I’ve never said it happens in one meeting. You’re talking about years of hostility; years of problems; years of, really, hatred between so many different nations. But I think you’re going to have a very positive result in the end.” For now the U.S. intelligence community seems to believe that while Pyongyang may agree to give up some weapons as part of its negotiations with the United States, it is unlikely it will agree to destroy everything.

    • In my opinion the entire talk is a sham to buy time, the Chinese and North Koreans what to buy time to get ready for the war that will follow the failure of the talks. Look at how the Chinese are preparing for war by fortifying their artificial Islands, combine this with the reports that Japan is fortifying the inhabited Islands south of Hokkaido and the way the US is rearming at a rate that while short of full war building is faster then anything we have seen since the massive rebuilt to repair the damage Clinton did to the military.

Add in the (possibly deliberate) fake< mistaken reports that are coming out by the MSM, reports that are probably designed to damage the President.

Now shift you gaze to Europe and the massive invasion of Europe by the Africans who are making no attempt to hide their moves to destroy the European nations. China is working with Iran and they want massive unrest in other regions to force the US to split our forces. A split that will be partially repaired by out allies in the Pacific.

The signs for war are all around, the signs for peace as so few as to be non existent.

  6. ‘Looming disaster’: Saudi coalition seeks US aid to capture Yemen port & last humanitarian lifeline (RT, Jun 4, 2018)
    https://www.rt.com/news/428615-yemen-hodeidah-looming-disaster/

“The Saudi-led coalition is reportedly seeking direct US support to recapture the port city of Hodeidah in Yemen. The battle for the humanitarian lifeline would spell disaster for the locals, human rights agencies warn.

For nearly a week, the Saudi-led coalition forces have been preparing to launch a large-scale offensive on Hodeidah, the fourth-largest city in Yemen, with a population of 400,000 people, in an effort to recapture the city’s port which currently serves as one of the remaining humanitarian lifelines in the war-stricken country. However, before cutting what they call the “vein that the Houthis are benefiting from,” the coalition decided to seek US support, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported on Sunday.

According to anonymous US officials familiar with the issue, the United Arab Emirates approached Washington with the request. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is now waiting for a “quick assessment” of the UAE’s plea, which seeks US intelligence capabilities, mainly drone overflights, to help a Saudi-led coalition retake Hodeidah. Washington’s potential involvement has excited a number of US officials and has left others worried about the potential consequences of such an operation. While the US is weighing its options, the UAE and Saudi Arabian officials have allegedly assured the US that they will stay clear of the port.

Recapturing Hodeidah and its port is crucial for Saudi Arabia. Over the course of the conflict, Riyadh has repeatedly tried to blockade the docks, claiming that the port is being used to smuggle arms for the Houthi rebels. Repeated calls from human rights groups and the UN have kept the port open, on and off, so that vital aid can be delivered to the country…”

  7. ‘Red Alarm’ Over Stockholm Metro Becoming ‘No-Go Zones’ for Personnel (sputniknews, Jun 4, 2018)
    https://sputniknews.com/europe/201806041065067264-sweden-metro-no-go-zone/

“Contrary to Swedish politicians repeatedly denying the very existence of “no-go zones,” four stations in Stockholm Metro have reportedly become extremely dangerous for personnel, who only are able to perform their duties with the help of extra police. A local guard admitted to being “outnumbered” and “exposed to threats and stones.”

As of today, four stations in Stockholm Metro (Rinkeby, Tensta, Rissne and Hjulsta, all located in blighted urban areas) are marked with a code symbolizing the highest danger, the Swedish daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet reported.

The Security Center of SL, Stockholm County traffic company, generally divides stations by color ranging from green (usual security measures) to yellow (elevated risk) to red (reinforced security needed). At the four stations, personnel can only perform their jobs with supervision from a police officer for their own safety.

A security officer has testified to an unsafe and dangerous work environment.

“You cannot work normally at these red-flagged stations. I have never feared for my life, but have been in situations where personal safety has been compromised. There have been threats of violence, stoning and even wrecked cars,” the officer told Svenska Dagbladet, expressing his gratitude for the police who help a lot when security personnel are outnumbered.

Christoffer Bohman, deputy police commissioner in Rinkeby, often named among Sweden’s most notorious “ghettos,” admitted that some of the metro stations have become dumping sites for drugs.

“So far this year, we have had over 700 reported drug offenses. Most are taken in or around the metro,” Bohman said.

“Security is being reduced at places that are already unsafe. This is a symbol of a society heading in the wrong direction. Now is enough,” Kristoffer Tamsons, traffic councilor at Stockholm City Council told Svenska Dagbladet. Tamsons has long called for a reintroduction of New York-style metro policing.

Tamsons has also called for the introduction of a special crime code in public transport.

“I’m tired of politicians who claim that there are no ‘no-go zones’ without ever setting foot there themselves. These problems should not be swept under the carpet. There is an obvious risk of spreading to other areas,” Tamsons said.

Nevertheless, the local police won’t comply with the demand for the reintroduction of extra metro policing, citing resource issues.

“Other parties cannot depend on our presence,” Christoffer Bohman explained.

According to police estimates, there are currently around 5,000 criminals and 200 criminal networks in what is officially defined as “vulnerable areas,” whose number also has increased from 53 in 2016 to 61 in 2017. The Swedish authorities, including Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, have repeatedly denied the existence of “no-go zones.””

Despite repeated criticism of the social media giant for failing to protect users, the infamous Cubs Of The Caliphate film posted in March 2015 was one of several that could still be viewed until last week.

  15. DNA for Sale: Ancestry wants your spit, your DNA and your trust. Should you give them all 3?

LEHI, Utah — It markets its DNA kits with promises that tug at the heartstrings: Discover ancestors. Strengthen family ties. Understand your life.

Aided by venture capital and a flood of savvy marketing, Ancestry LLC has grown to become the world’s largest DNA testing conglomerate. Since 2012, it has lured more than 5 million people to spit into tubes and add their genetic code to the world’s largest private database of DNA. It has also banked away the world’s largest collection of human spittle, numbering in the hundreds of gallons.

In the age of Facebook and Google, consumers seem comfortable surrendering their personal information to corporations that aggregate it and monetize it. But Ancestry and other DNA testing companies have added an audacious tweak: Consumers are now paying to hand over their genetic code, their most sensitive individual identifier, to companies that could monetize it far into the future.

Ancestry officials say they have state-of-the-art systems to prevent hacking and security breaches. So far the company has sidestepped privacy scandals that tripped up companies like Facebook, which allowed a political data firm, Cambridge Analytica, to access data from 50 million customers, or government agencies like the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, which a few years ago exposed more than a million personnel records and security clearance data to hackers.

    • … Ancestry LLC has grown to become the world’s largest DNA testing conglomerate. Since 2012, it has lured more than 5 million people to spit into tubes and add their genetic code to the world’s largest private database of DNA.

Would you trust a company with your zygotic material? No? Then why would you trust a company with your DNA?

The evil that could be accomplished by hacking such a database is of the worst sort. Imagine people being blackmailed because they tested positive for an STD. Employment opportunities barred due to genetic predispositions. Insurance denied because of recessive familial traits.

I’d have to take off my pants to count every last way that this scenario can crash and burn. As in spectacular cratering at no extra charge.

      • I know what you mean, it would be interesting to know what my DNA says about my ancestry but not interesting enough to put myself at risk of all of the dangers you stated and didn’t state.

  16. How a Hacker Proved Cops Used a Secret Government Phone Tracker to Find Him

And how it might change what cops can do with our smartphones.

On a warm summer’s day in 2008, police spotted a man walking outside his apartment in Santa Clara, California, one of the many bedroom communities spread across Silicon Valley. Undercover FBI officers saw him outside the building and began following him on foot, radioing to their colleagues nearby. The man saw the agents, and so he began to walk quickly. They followed suit.

After months of tracking him via sting bank accounts and confidential informants, the officers had their man. He had told the apartment complex’s manager that he was Steven Travis Brawner, software engineer: a profile that fit right in with many other tenants in the area. But at the time of his arrest, officers didn’t know his real name: After watching his activities at a distance, they called him simply the “Hacker.” Between 2005 and 2008, federal investigators believed that the Hacker and two other men filed over 1,900 fake tax returns online, yielding $4 million sent to over 170 bank accounts.

  17. Totally off topic but IMHO necessary as it is just more evidence of brainwashing:
The TRUTH Why Modern Music Is Awful

    • Thank you so much for this excellent post, Michelle!

As a (retired) singer, performer, lyricist, composer, musician, and songwriter who has appeared on television and radio, plus played at numerous venues (including my local county fair), the decrease in overall spectral content and production quality of “popular music” is, to me, indicative of a general trend of Western populations to plunge into a mental cesspool.

Oops, did I type that in my “Out Loud” font?

I compose in classical, jazz, rhythm & blues, rock, Renaissance, Mid-East, rock & roll, baroque, Latin, acid-rock, folk, ballad, hard-rock, love-songs, and some of my own unique styles. I’ve jammed with everything from Mariachi bands to a Greek musical stylist.

Just the drop in diversity of timbre tells the tale. (See video time-point – 09:00)

Imagine this: You are the supervisor of a heavily-used urban transit hub. In order to reduce your annual rate of vandalism damage, undesirable loitering, and petty crime by over 30%, all it takes is playing classical music on your PA system.

Classical music, philharmonic orchestras and all, probably furnishes the widest perceptible aural spectrum of timbre available from any composed audio source.

That a foremost pinnacle of human artistic achievement (as in an EVEREST OF MUSICAL ARTISTRY) like the the Western European Orchestral Tradition is somehow repellent to so many of today’s yoots is more than a little telling about the trajectory of “modern culture”.

Additionally—having wired and operated my own eight-track recording home studio—this video’s special mention of electronic dynamic range compression is super-critical. Mangling of intricate spectral dynamics by modern “music producers” is, essentially, criminal. The destruction of discernible musical talent and nuance is just-plain felonious.

Speaking as a professional artist, just the fact that two innocuous song-writers are powering a huge number of today’s most (thoroughly, socially, engineered) “popular” releases should scare the everliving crap out of anyone who treasures originality. As if Michael Narada Walden didn’t do enough harm to 1970s rock.

THE LAST THREE MINUTES OF THIS VIDEO IS A “MUST WATCH”. The narrator truly “gets it” and eloquently summarizes this entire pop “riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma”, with his masterful finale. As an artiste, I will please ask all readers to watch all twenty, lousy minutes of this clip.

Be assured that you will rarely experience such a concise synopsis of why “modern culture” is such a barren, vacuous, contrived, and artificial, “Teenage Wasteland”.

      • I only listen to “classical” music although TBH I do have very few pop songs that I happen to like. However although some modern works are architecturally and mathematically works of genius, IMHO they sound like rubbish and I will NOT pay to hear them. The main reason for the massive interest in baroque, unknown romantic and classical composers is largely because most modern “classical” music is rubbish. Not hard to understand as the best composers fritter away their talents in movies. Spiegel im Spiegel is the exception not the rule.

  18. A Major Physics Experiment Just Detected a Particle That Shouldn’t Exist

Scientists have produced the firmest evidence yet of so-called sterile neutrinos, mysterious particles that pass through matter without interacting with it at all.

The first hints these elusive particles turned up decades ago. But after years of dedicated searches, scientists have been unable to find any other evidence for them, with many experiments contradicting those old results. These new results now leave scientists with two robust experiments that seem to demonstrate the existence of sterile neutrinos, even as other experiments continue to suggest sterile neutrinos don’t exist at all.

That means there’s something strange happening in the universe that is making humanity’s most cutting-edge physics experiments contradict one another. [The 18 Biggest Unsolved Mysteries in Physics]

    https://www.livescience.com/62721-sterile-neutrino-detected-fermilab.html

    • An old tale goes that Enrico Fermi and some colleagues were dining at a restaurant when one of them mentioned a newly discovered spin-neutral bozon (or some other such quantum weirdness).

To which Fermi retorted, “Who ordered that!?!”

      ——————————-

The year before, a team in Stockholm, Sweden, at the Nobel Institute of Physics announced a new element called nobelium that had a half-life of 10 minutes. That discovery could not be replicated, however, though labs in Berkeley and Dubna, Russia, attempted it.

During the interval it took for LRL’s Berkeley team of Albert Ghiorso, Glenn Seaborg, Torbørn Sikkeland and John R. Walton, to replicate and validate the presence of nobelium isotope 254, scientists on both sides of the Iron Curtain derisively referred to this unconfirmed periodic element it as, “no-believium“.

      • Yeah, the reason so many don’t want to admit the new discoveries are real is because that would mean they have to rewrite the laws of physics and they don’t want to do that, they prefer the old well known rules.

        • Spot on!! And that goes for archaeology and ancient history as well where heresy might upset the comfortable established church of science.

          • Addendum IIRC someone stated that superheavy elements are only stable in a higher gravitational field than possible on this earth and until this is achievable they will never be stable. Reason? Suit yourself?

            • Addendum IIRC someone stated that superheavy elements are only stable in a higher gravitational field than possible on this earth and until this is achievable they will never be stable.

              Dear Michelle,

Somewhere out there in the cybersphere is a video tape by a researcher who, supposedly, had access to the Area 51 UFO spacecraft.

According to his remarkably lucid and worryingly credible narrative, Earth’s population does not have access to “Space-Time-Folding” trans-stellar excursions only because we are not in a binary star system that (more often tends to) produce “super-heavy” elements.

The video goes on to make disturbingly well-reasoned arguments about harvesting the “strong force” (as opposed to the “weak force”, gravitic, or electromagnetic force) from these “super-heavy” (we’re talking periodic elements of atomic weights of 150 to past 200) elements and using their “harvestable strong force” to “collapse” or “fold” space-time as a method of “jumping” through the massive gaps that separate the population centers of our universe.
              ———
SIDEBAR: This entire concept relies upon the possibility of using harvested “Strong Force” nuclear quantum-energy components (from that quadratic tree) to gravitically compress and fold the immense spatial (time-space) gaps that separate all humanoid habitations in ways that would permit relatively instantaneous interaction.
              ———

Please, oh please, just keep in mind that I’m not your everyday Alex Jones conspiracy loon. Far from it.

All the same, folding space-time remains one of the sole imaginable methods to attain interstellar travel. Spending a thousand years to transit the distance between Sol and the nearest (Alpha Centuri) solar system in energy-intensive suspended animation doth verily sucketh a most mighty and blasting pseudo-technological wind.

Just in case this oddball discussion seems to have strayed too far afield: Interstellar travel will be humanity’s ONLY real option for long-term perpetuance and survival.

Anyone who wants a good summation of what terraforming this solar system’s VERY FEW available resources might look like would do well to peruse Kim Stanley Robinson’s delightfully accented science-fiction trilogy about “Red, Blue, and, Green Mars” (translated into 24 languages).

This brilliant author’s plot arc even includes the existence of anti-terraforming “Red Earthers” who violently oppose further disruption of the now-human-occupied Mars ecology.

Honestly … as a classic Sci-Fi snob (e.g., Clarke, Bradbury, Asimov, Verne, Wells, and Capek) Robinson’s comprehensive examination of what terraforming Mars might entail is a splendid yarn.

PS: Did I mention Peter Hamilton? This relative newcomer to the Sci-Fi genre simply puts all of those “Swords & Sorcerers” bullsh!t artistes out to pasture.

                • Addendum…how to they intend to keep Mars atmosphere in place? Without a magnetic field it will be just blown away again wont it?

          • I know, there are a lot of historical discoveries that should be investigated but the historians will dismiss it as a fake just to keep from having to rethink what we know about history. Other finds are dismissed because the Ancient Aliens types grab on it and use it as evidence of their theories. After that no mainstream scholar will touch the item.

            • Which shows how orthodox is science and this will end up destroying it just as it did religion in the west. 99% of scientists are data crawler trawlers while 1% actually do the thinking. Unfortunately no one will listen to you until you have reputation clout and by then most people are sterile. Einstein would NOT get a PhD spot and would have NO chance of publication now while Beethoven would have been placed into a foster home at 8 and missed the crucial early musical training. Ohh I can wax loudly on this theme

            • You do not need ancient aliens (although the fact that we are a strange blend of pig and chimp does rattle that cage a little) you just need previous human civilizations whose evidence has been mostly ground to dust by glaciers or melted by lava. The precession evidence from many cultures makes one wonder.

              • There is a great episode of an old science fiction TV show called, “Final Exam”. I can’t remember the name of the series now, but it was popular and redone a lot of times across decades.

I think they got dangerously close to some answers to some very big questions. I would delight in hearing people’s impressions of that program if people know where to find it.

The episode again is called, “Final Exam” and the series was The Outer Limits.

                (Google is our friend sometimes)

                https://tvbox.ag/tv/4082/the-outer-limits/season-4/episode-16/

                • Sucked me in…I will watch it. IIRC pig kidneys, liver, hearts and skin are exactly the same as humans and Melanesians did not call humans “long pig” by accident. BUT :)… you should read Forbidden Archaeology in return. Costs a small fortune 🙁

                  • Okay watched it. cold fusion is a hard one. The results that show something occasionally happening are still inexplicable and too erratic to define. IMO I think that it is possible but it will take the next big leap to be able to engineer it. As for making it into a bomb? I found that a bit much.

  19. Secret files prove Iran is trying to build bomb, claims Israel

Israel raised the pressure on Britain and its European partners last night to tear up the nuclear deal with Iran by sharing secret files showing Tehran’s determination to build a bomb.

One of the key documents, seen by The Times, is a memorandum that formally hands responsibility for the production of weapons-grade enriched uranium to the Iranian defence ministry. This and other written orders are part of a cache of 100,000 files snatched from a Tehran warehouse by agents of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, in January.

Some of the haul is being made available to the security services of Britain,

    • Secret files prove Iran is trying to build bomb, claims Israel

Has this ever been in doubt? Let’s face it, you’d have to be credulous as hell (and who isn’t, these days?) to imagine that a country like Iran—with centuries of fossil fuel reserves—would, nonetheless, feel sufficiently compelled by concerns about energy independence to spend endless billions of dollars on subway tunneling machines to create deep-underground, mountain-based, multi-stage gas centrifuge facilities.

If you want to read an inspiring tale of Counterjihad technical brilliance, look no further that the tale of the Stuxnet Virus.

      From the link:

Experts believe that Stuxnet required the largest and costliest development effort in malware history.

This should provide some sense of just how crucial it is to prohibit Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

The multilevel brilliance of Stuxnet has caused experts to label it as one of the first true cyber-weapons.

A few examples—before I type my fingers off about this Elegant Espionage™.

      • Gas centrifuges that separate the HE (Highly Enriched) fissile isotope, uranuim-235, from its far-less-volatile isotopic “cousins”, spin at +100,000 RPM speeds and must operate (like scientific “ultra-fuges”) in a reduced-pressure (i.e., vacuum) environment.

      • Such spin rates cannot be achieved in ambient atmosphere. As a consequence, these rotary systems are housed in hermetically-sealed housings and have incredibly fine-tuned, precision-balanced, bearings (be they air or magnetically levitated).

Here’s the CORKER. The Stuxnet Virus went through the following stages:

      • Cross the “air gap” via an infiltrator. Stuxnet simply was too yuge to be delivered through the Internet.

      • After installation, hibernate and gradually replicate the entire phage throughout, not just other computers, but even infect printers and other large-capacity semiconductor memory reservoirs like servers or databases.

      It just gets better…

      • Stuxnet invaded the Seimens PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) arrays and display consoles of the gas centrifuge facilities. (These electronic industrial control modules sequence the operation of everything from semiconductor fabrication tools to food processing lines.)

      • It then over-rode the operator consoles and “aliased” (i.e., faked) a “green-light” board or condition. This, even as the virus—during (much harder to detect) weeks-long intervals—periodically cycled the gas centrifuges above and below their mechanical operating envelopes.

      • Stuxnet would purposefully segregate these centrifuge mechanical over-stress sessions by weeks in order to minimize any chance of detection.

SIDEBAR: Imagine strapping into your passenger airliner or jet fighter pilot’s seat and getting a “green board” that told you “all is well” (with nothing of the sort happening). Now, consider the potential disasters that such a thing entails…

      • This quasi-harmonic “positive – negative” stress cycling of the gas centrifuges’ rotational operation was slightly more than catastrophic.

      • Remember, the Siemens PLC modules probably represented less than one hundredth of a percent of the separation facility’s overall cost. Yet, they posed a “back door” vulnerability that allowed the ruination of billions in equipment and retarded all Iranian nuclear progress for years.

      • More than likely, just writing the control code for those PLC units cost a thousand times more than their actual purchase price. The centrifuges? Millions? Billions … more? We can only hope.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled ranting…

      • To say nothing of the paranoia it induced into the Iranian scientific arena, Stuxnet the gift that keeps on giving.

        • Stuxnet the gift that keeps on giving.

Yup. If they executed everyone under suspicion, they’d have janitorial staff, and not much more…

  20. China’s Warning About ‘Dictatorship’ Chant Chills Hong Kong Vigil

For 28 years, tens of thousands of Hong Kong democracy advocates have marked the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square crackdown by rallying for political change in China. This year, they faced new risk in doing so.

At issue are a series of slogans chanted during a mass candlelight vigil in Victoria Park, specifically one demanding an “end to one-party dictatorship.” That act of defiance has come under new scrutiny after the former top Chinese official in Hong Kong suggested that those who utter the phrase should be barred from running for office.

While government officials haven’t endorsed the view, pro-democracy lawmakers worry that such remarks could represent the latest Communist Party effort to curb free expression in the former British colony. In 2016, the Chinese government banned independence activists from public office and local officials earlier this year barred a legislative candidate from running because she supported “self-determination.”

  21. North Korea’s three new military leaders are loyal to Kim, not policies

SEOUL (Reuters) – North Korea’s new top three military officers are known for their unquestioning support of leader Kim Jong Un and are flexible enough to accept the massive changes that may come from any deal with U.S. President Donald Trump, people who follow the secretive country say.

They replaced older, more conservative officers who have been recently sacked, according to a senior U.S. official and North Korea leadership analysts in Seoul.

As Washington pursues a negotiated end to Pyongyang’s nuclear program, U.S. officials believe there was some dissent in the military about Kim’s negotiations with South Korea and the United States, a complete reversal of the North’s pursuit of nuclear weapons and historic hostility. It was not clear if the sacked officers were responsible.

Citing an unidentified intelligence official, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency said No Kwang Chol, first vice minister in the defense ministry, had replaced Pak Yong Sik as the defense chief, while Ri Yong Gil had returned as the army’s chief of general staff in place of Ri Myong Su.

The appointments could not be immediately confirmed.

  22. Leftists push ‘where’s Melania?’ conspiracy theories, suggest Trump killed first lady

Talk about tin-foil hat conspiracy theories! Over the weekend, The Telegraph reported that First Lady Melania Trump will not join the president at the Camp David presidential retreat this weekend, “extending to 22 days the time since she last appeared in public.” The paper added:

The First Lady was last seen on May 10 and underwent surgery for a “benign” kidney issue on May 14, spending a few days in hospital before being released.

Mrs Trump’s lack of appearance at events she would normally be expected to attend has created headlines in the US media and triggered conspiracy theories.

The Telegraph doesn’t give itself enough credit. It’s opening paragraphs are grist for conspiracy theorists, who took the bait:

A seven-justice majority said the Colorado Civil Rights Commission finding was tainted by animus toward religion. The Supreme Court ruling was a narrow one that didn’t reach the broad free-speech and religious-rights issues that had prompted the justices to take up the case.

  27. The Supreme Court tossed out a lower court ruling that paved the way for an illegal immigrant teenager to have an abortion while in federal custody and will send the case back to the lower courts.

In an unsigned per curiam opinion Monday with no noted dissents, the court remanded the case back to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

With its decision, the court agreed with the request from the Trump administration, which asked the justices to weigh in in November.

Justice Department lawyers had asked the high court to vacate the appeals court’s ruling and send the case back with directions to “dismiss all claims for prospective relief regarding pregnant unaccompanied minors.”

Though the teenager at issue in the case, identified in court filings as Jane Doe, had the abortion, the Trump administration was worried other illegal immigrant pregnant teenagers would use the ruling from the federal appeals court in seeking an abortion.

  28. Islamist groups have adopted new strategies to gain influence in Germany, a report by the intelligence agency of the German state of Baden-Württemberg disclosed. Instead of taking on the powerful government establishment or law enforcement head on, they have adopted a ‘legalistic strategy’ to achieve their political objectives.

Describing the nature of Islamist infiltration of the German society, the report explained that “a substantial part of the [Islamist] scene in Germany comprises of political associations, organisations, and parties that try to realize their aims within the existing legal framework.”

“The primary objective of Islamism” represented by groups like the Muslim Brotherhood is to “achieve political power through legal means,” the report added.

“The missionary Islam aims at retaining and spreading the Islamic identity,” and the followers of “Jihadism seek recruits for the armed struggle, which they justify through Islam,” the report said while describing the other two-pronged approach adopted by the Islamists.

  30. Free speech is drowning on both sides of the Atlantic

Years ago, sitting in an English pub on July Fourth, my brother and I were surrounded by friendly Brits who toasted America’s Independence Day. Expressing no bitterness over their former colonies’ rebellion more than 200 years ago, they even jokingly joined in a chorus of “Down with the British!”

England is America’s parent nation, even though we had to resort to violence to decide things for ourselves, such as not being forced to billet British troops in our houses or pay taxes without representation.

It was from England that we derived our rule of law, religious heritage and an appreciation of fair play. I did learn to my regret that the English treated the Irish badly for centuries until the Emerald Isle won its independence in 1921.

However, in the great wars against Nazism, Communism and militant Islam, America and Great Britain have fought side by side in defense of the Free World.

    http://www.gopusa.com/?p=47251?omhide=true

    • It was from England that we derived our rule of law, religious heritage and an appreciation of fair play.

This is an enduring and totally misleading portrayal of America’s legal heritage.

The Founding Fathers were almost miraculously well-versed in “Natural Law” and the works of such early jurists like Swiss genius, Emer de Vattel.

The synthesis of Renaissance Enlightenment Era law and values that were integrated into the US Constitution simply defies all imagination. We, in America, are so fortunate.

      • Prez Adams thanks you, Mr. Radish.
I’m not in touch with the others, but I’m sure they appreciate your swift correction of sweeping idiocies.

      • Our founding fathers were the best educated in their colonies, if they were alive today they would all have multiple Doctorates in many different fields. Given the venality of the current politicians it is hard for most people to understand just how special our founding fathers were.

        • Thank-you, ty.

Abigail and I worried that Mr. Franklin would be a dreadful influence on Junior, Mr. Jefferson not much better, while we were all in France. Both womanizers, ya know.

We knew human frailties, tried to foresee the future as it would be lived, not as great philosophers or utopian dreamers. Hence, the Electoral College.

But the Constitution was written for a moral, religious people. It would be totally unsuitable for any other kind.
The YankeeKafir feels the same way. The Oath of Office sworn on a Koran?!

  31. Samantha Bee vs Roseanne: Equal justice matters

One of the most corrosive and dangerous message embedded in the revelations uncovered in how the Justice Department was run under President Obama is that there are different sets of rules for Americans based on their connections or their politics.

The Hillary Clinton email fiasco resonates with so many Americans because it appears to them that if she was not the Democratic Party’s candidate for president, she would have been dealt with very differently for keeping classified government secrets on a private, unsecured email server. Furthermore, the FBI would not have written their findings months before even interviewing Mrs. Clinton and they would not have granted immunity to the major players and co-conspirators in the email scheme.

Additionally, the FBI launched a massive counterintelligence investigation on the hunch that the Russian government was trying to infiltrate the Trump campaign. Meanwhile, they not only ignored the fact that Clinton had paid for a massive piece of campaign opposition research that was chock-full of propaganda created by shady, unnamed Russians with direct links to the Kremlin, they actually used that unverified propaganda to obtain a secret FISA warrant on a person linked to the Trump team.

There are tons of other examples but the message seems clear: Justice was not meted out in an equal and blind manner when it came to Clinton versus Trump in the 2016 campaign.

    • Napoli, presidio per Sacko Soumali. Pap: “Salvini mandante morale dell’omicidio”

Napoli).

  34. Tunisian foreign ministry summons Italian ambassador

Tunis, June 4 (BNA): The Tunisian Foreign Ministry voiced “dismay” over the remarks which were made yesterday by the new Italian Minister of Interior Matteo Salvini during a trip to Sicily.

It summoned the Italian Ambassador Raimondo De Cardona and expressed “astonishment” at the statement regarding Tunisian immigrants in Italy.

The ministry said that these statements “do not reflect the level of co-operation between the two countries in the field of migration”.

Salvini said that Tunisia, “the free and democratic country, does not send honest people to Italy but, often and willingly, former prisoners”.

‘Pack your bags, illegals’: New Italian Euroskeptic govt sends clear message

    • Salvini: Italy cannot be ‘Europe’s refugee camp’

POZZALLO, Italy: Italy’s new hardline interior minister Matteo Salvini said that ‘common sense’ was needed to stop the country from being ‘Europe’s refugee camp’ as he visited a migrant centre in the south.

The newly minted deputy prime minister in Italy’s populist coalition government travelled to Sicily, one of the country’s main refugee landing points, to push the anti-immigration platform that propelled him to power.

“Italy and Sicily cannot be Europe’s refugee camp,” he told a crowd of supporters under the blazing sun in the southern Sicilian town of Pozzallo, a migration hotspot.

“Nobody will take away my certainty that illegal immigration is a business … and seeing people make money on children who go on to die makes me furious,” he added.

His comments came as more than 50 migrants drowned in the Mediterranean, with 48 bodies found off Tunisia’s southern coast and nine Syrians – including seven children – killed when their vessel sank off the coast of Turkey.

The port town of Pozzallo is also on the migration front line as one of the main landing points for refugees fleeing war, persecution and famine across North Africa and the Middle East.

A crowd of enthusiastic supporters and a smaller group of protesters had earlier gathered in front of the gates of the town’s migrant centre, where Salvini would give his speech, trading insults and nearly coming to blows.

One protester brandished a sign saying ‘refugees welcome’, while a supporter said ‘we don’t want any more pests’ and others simply chanted ‘Matteo, Matteo’.

After delivering his speech, Salvini went inside the centre to meet some of the 158 people who had landed in Pozzallo when they were rescued by a humanitarian boat on Friday.

The rescue operation, which was coordinated by the Italian coast guard, happened just hours after Salvini took his oath of office, and said he would ask his ministry’s experts ‘how to reduce the number of arriving migrants and increase the number of expulsions.’ — AFP

  35. Japan: Scuffles in Kawasaki as anti-migrant meeting crashed by counter-protesters

Scuffles erupted when police officers stepped in to separate nationalist activists and counter-protesters in Kawasaki on Sunday, as the city reportedly became the first in the country to introduce laws to prevent the spread of hate speech in public.

Initially, the nationalist group was scheduled to hold a meeting at a Kawasaki education hall, but were prevented by the counter-protesters, who performed a sit-in at its entrance.

    • PJmedia – UK Cathedral Celebrates Ramadan on Anniversary of ISIS London Bridge Attack

London’s Southwark Cathedral hosted its second annual “Grand Iftar Service” on Sunday evening, marking the anniversary of the London Bridge terror attack last year. In addition to the 11 a.m. Eucharist service, the church also held a 3 p.m. Service of Commemoration for the attack, and an 8 p.m. service to celebrate the Muslim service.

The Iftar service stood out, however, as it marked the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. It has not yet been reported whether or not the prayers associated with Ramadan were performed inside the cathedral, which would be a serious violation of Christian holy space. Hosting a Ramadan event at a church, however, is bad enough.

“We stand united as communities, as Londoners, as people that want to celebrate our diversity,” Harun Khan, secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, said at the Iftar service.
