“Swedish journalist and “culture critic” Kristina Lindquist has slammed the institution of marriage, but noted that marriages to asylum seekers to help them stay in Sweden are an “excellent reason” for them.
Ms. Lindquist, who wrote the opinion piece for Sweden’s Dagens Nyheter earlier this week, said that she did not personally believe in the institution of marriage, calling it “one of the most central institutions of the patriarchy”.
“The thought of who I’m sharing myself with would call me his ‘wife’ is both absurd and laughable,” Lindquist said.
While Lindquist argued against marriage, she argued for the practice for asylum seekers to keep them in Sweden, mentioning the 2017 Danish film The Charmer in which an Iranian asylum seeker attempts to seduce multiple women into marriage in order to remain in Denmark.
Since the 1980s, Sweden has had a marriage law that requires couples to be together for at least two years in order for one of them to gain permanent residency in the country. Lindquist stated that she did not agree with the law as it “puts people in an absolute and destructive deprivation — and locks women into violent relationships”.
“To give a person a refugee residence permit — is not that a great opportunity to marry someone who can manage and wants it?” she said.
According to recent polls, immigration has become the top concern for Swedish voters ahead of this year’s national election set for later in the year.
While some, like Lindquist, continue to argue for the mass migration policies that were popular during the migrant crisis of 2015, Swedish voters are turning more and more toward the policies of the anti-mass migration Sweden Democrats.
In a recent televised leaders debate, Sweden Democrats (SD) leader Jimmie Åkesson won the post-debate polls on the topics of immigration as well as law and order, winning the debate overall. He also argued against the EU’s compulsory migrant quota system, which has already been slammed by Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, saying migrants would likely just move to the EU country of their choice anyway.

“Farmer Abdulkadir Cekic was already struggling to make a living, snowed under by a bank loan he took out for the purchase of a 130,000-euro harvesting machine. The tumbling of the Turkish currency, the lira, has hit him hard, considerably increasing the cost of his yearly payments.
“This year I have (to pay) 10,000 Euros in installments for the combine harvester,” said the barley farmer from this Turkish village near the border with Syria. “It used to be around 40,000 Turkish Lira. Now it’s 55,000 Turkish Lira.”
The lira has lost more than 20 percent of its value against the dollar since the start of the year, hurting many in Turkey, especially small business owners like Cekic who rely on imported machinery and goods. The country’s economic troubles have emerged as a key issue as Turkey heads into presidential and parliamentary elections next month.
The lira this week slid to a series of record lows amid a global currency sell-off and some concerns over President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s economic policies. The drop forced the Turkish Central Bank to sharply raise its key lending rate to try and stem an outflow of capital from the country, control inflation and support the beleaguered currency.
The rate increase came despite Erdogan’s strong pressure on the Central Bank to keep rates low. The increase helped the currency regain some of its value, but economists fear the country may not be out of the woods just yet.
Erdogan opposes high interest rates which can support a currency and ease inflation but also hinder economic growth.
Analysts say Erdogan, who has been in office since 2003 as prime minister and president and is vying for a new five-year term, called the elections more than a year earlier than scheduled as he saw that economic and financial trouble was brewing.
“The (risk) is still continuing because the volatility has not ended,” said economist Ozlem Derici Sengul, adding that the markets were still nervous about Erdogan retaining his influence over the Central Bank. Derici said the banks’ rate hike was still “behind market rates.”
It was not clear how much impact the volatility would have on the elections.
“It will hurt some shares of the votes for the government but I’m not sure how it will change the composition of the parliament or (affect) the re-election of the president,” Sengul said. “It’s a very close call.”
Erdogan has blamed economic woes on an alleged international conspiracy plotting to undermine Turkey. This week, he said the weak Turkish lira did not reflect the state of the country’s economy, citing Turkey’s 7.4 percent growth rate.
In a bid to ease fears, Erdogan has also vowed fiscal discipline and moves to rein in inflation and current account deficit after the elections.
The Turkish lira’s slide was in part a global trend affecting the currencies of emerging markets, with investors shifting their money into higher-yielding investments in the United States. Turkey has been hit especially hard because of the political backdrop, including Erdogan’s exerting pressure on the central bank.
Erdogan has won successive elections on the strength of a vibrant economy in the past 15 years. More recently though, he has adopted an increasingly authoritarian turn, cracking down on dissent and concentrating more powers in his hands. A state of emergency imposed following a 2016 failed military coup has allowed him to rule by decrees and has resulted in tens of thousands of arrests.
Critics say Erdogan needs to abandon authoritarian policies and carry out liberal reforms in order to bring stability to the economy.
A survey by the Ankara-based Metropoll research group conducted in April indicated that 50.6 percent of the respondents said their living conditions and welfare level had “deteriorated” in the past year. Only 16.6 percent said their conditions had improved.
At a market in Istanbul’s Kasimpasa district, where Erdogan was raised, shoppers and stall owners said they felt the pinch from the decline in the currency and double-digit inflation.
“(Prices) are high,” said Medine Bilgen, a 53-year-old homemaker. “Every week, the prices at the market are different. They never go down, they always go up.”
Vegetable stall owner Ahmet Acik said: “Diesel, gas, dollar… They are changing by the hour. We are not happy about this.”
Still, the economic turmoil is unlikely to sway the elections, experts say.
“Turkey is so deeply polarized that one half (of the people) is in love with Erdogan and believe he can do no wrong. The other half loath him,” said Soner Cagaptay, director of the Turkish Research Program at The Washington Institute. “Any economic crisis won’t change this perception.”
“Erdogan’s supporters will see any economic meltdown as an attack by foreign forces against Erdogan and his agenda to make Turkey great,” he said. “Turkey has seen so many economic meltdowns that have decimated governments of the time, but I’m not sure it’s going to be the same this time around.””

“President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi repeatedly reaffirms that Egypt belongs to all Egyptians, so long they abide by the law,” Shoukry told state television.
For over five years, Muslim Brotherhood leaders have proposed initiatives to reconcile with Egyptian authorities, but they were met with failure.
They included a proposal by Ibrahim Mounir, the Brotherhood’s deputy leader, who called for negotiations with Egyptian authorities on condition that the government release Brotherhood prisoners, namely former President Mohamed Morsi.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s Grand Mufti Shawki Allam issued a statement condemning the Muslim Brotherhood, decrying it as a terrorist group.
“These terrorist groups have proclaimed their right to state and jurisdictions– they gave themselves this right falsely and bluntly, did not act in defense, but acted out in crime and therefore must be eradicated.”
Allam added that such terror groups wreak havoc wrongly in the name of religion, validating brutality by explaining religious excerpts taken out of context.

Brazilian president sends in army as truck protest paralyzes country
São Paulo, the biggest city in South America, in state of emergency over fuel shortages while markets run out of food
Brazil’s conservative president Michel Temer has ordered the army and federal police to clear highways blockaded by striking truck drivers after a protest over soaring fuel prices entered its fifth day.
The blockades have paralysed much of the country’s economy and prompted São Paulo, the biggest city in South America, to declare a state of emergency over fuel shortages.
“I have actioned the federal security forces to unblock highways and I am asking governors to do the same,” Temer said in a televised address on Friday. “We will not let the population do without its primary needs.”
The protests began over fuel prices but have been further stoked by widespread anger over repeated graft scandals involving prominent politicians – including Temer himself.
In São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, supermarkets and restaurants are running low on supplies. Some factories have shut down, bus services been reduced and even the Refugees World Cup, scheduled to take place in São Paulo on Saturday, has been cancelled.

Brazil government orders troops to clear strikers’ blockades
Brasília (AFP) – Brazil’s government raised the stakes in its tense standoff with striking truckers Friday, ordering troops onto the streets to clear huge blockades that have left much of the country paralyzed.
The country’s economic capital of Sao Paulo declared a state of emergency, the auto industry shut down, gas stations ran out of fuel and dozens of flights were canceled on the fifth day of the protest Friday.
The truckers have attempted to put a stranglehold on movement of goods in Brazil to protest fuel price rises.
They blocked main roads in much of the vast South American country that has only limited rail services and where 60 percent of goods are transported by road.
The truckers pressed on with the strike despite an agreement announced by the government with union representatives late Thursday to call a 15-day suspension.
President Michel Temer announced in a televised address Friday that he had “mobilized the security forces” to clear the roads — a move criticized by Amnesty International as “impermissible.”

City of Sao Paulo declares state of emergency due to trucker protes
SAO PAULO (Reuters) – South America’s biggest city and main business hub declared a state of emergency on Friday, suspending non-essential administrative services to save fuel amid a trucking protest that has blockaded major Brazilian highways for five days.
In a statement, City Hall said the state of emergency would allow it to seize private goods such as fuel stored at a gas station and make purchases without going through standard budgeting and bidding procedures.

Paris police hold two garbagemen planning smelly Macron protest
Two refuse collectors were arrested Friday morning in central Paris after stealing a garbage truck with plans to empty the load at the headquarters of President Emmanuel Macron’s Republic on the Move (LREM) party.
Officers intercepted the truck, taken from a depot in the northern 18th Arrondissement of the city, not far from the party offices in central Paris, a police source told AFP.
At least a dozen officers with guns drawn surrounded the truck, warning bystanders back as they secured the area before apprehending the men and calling in an explosives-removal team.
Security forces have been on high alert following a string of jihadist attacks since 2015, most recently a knife rampage in the same area of Paris on May 12.
At the same time on Friday, more than 100 CGT union activists occupied the LREM premises, near the main Paris opera house to protest the government’s plans to overhaul French public services.

FBI warns Russians hacked hundreds of thousands of routers
(Reuters) – The FBI warned on Friday that Russian computer hackers had compromised hundreds of thousands of home and office routers and could collect user information or shut down network traffic.
The U.S. law enforcement agency urged the owners of many brands of routers to turn them off and on again and download updates from the manufacturer to protect themselves.
The warning followed a court order Wednesday that allowed the FBI to seize a website that the hackers planned to use to give instructions to the routers. Though that cut off malicious communications, it still left the routers infected, and Friday’s warning was aimed at cleaning up those machines.
Infections were detected in more than 50 countries, though the primary target for further actions was probably Ukraine, the site of many recent infections and a longtime cyberwarfare battleground.
In obtaining the court order, the Justice Department said the hackers involved were in a group called Sofacy that answered to the Russian government.

‘Not animals’: Guatemala family mourns niece killed by U.S. Border Patrol
GUATEMALA CITY (Reuters) – The family of a 19-year-old Guatemalan woman killed by a U.S. border patrol officer called on Friday for the United States to dial-back its rhetoric on migrants, after President Donald Trump described gang members entering the country as “animals.”
The woman, identified by her family as Claudia Gomez, was shot on Wednesday in south Texas by an officer who opened fire after several people “rushed him,” the Border Patrol said in a statement on Friday. The agency, alternately describing them as “illegal aliens” and “a group of suspected illegal aliens,” said Gomez was among them.
The Border Patrol said in an earlier statement that the people attacked the agent with blunt objects, and that Gomez was among the assailants.
“To the government of the United States, (I ask) that you do not treat us like this – like animals – just because you are a powerful and developed country,” Dominga Vicente, Gomez’s aunt, told reporters in Guatemala City.
The young woman from the Guatemalan highlands had left her home in search of work and education opportunities, Vicente said.
On Thursday, the Guatemala foreign ministry said the rights of migrants must be respected. “Guatemala laments any act of violence and excessive use of force by the border patrol,” the foreign ministry said in a statement.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The EU’s Brexit negotiator urged the British government on Saturday to stop playing “hide and seek” over its aims for trade ties and warned that delays in agreeing on judicial oversight risk wrecking any Brexit deal.
In pointed remarks after an ill-tempered week of talks in Brussels, Michel Barnier insisted he would not be intimidated by what he called a “blame game” from London of accusing the EU of inflexibility in rejecting British demands for close cooperation on security, trade and other issues after Brexit.

Reminder: What we know now about ‘Trump,’ ‘Russia’ and surveillance, FBI knew in 2016

In a post on 23 May, we looked at the 9 days in January of 2017 that show who was involved in using federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies against the incoming Trump administration.
In this post, I now want to emphasize a single point, one whose import requires a stand-alone focus to absorb. It is simply this: in 2016, the FBI already knew everything it was going to know, from the means of intelligence available to it, about whether Trump and his closest connections had nefarious or even just questionable links to Russians, or people connected with Russians.
There is a tendency to imagine that an ongoing “investigation,” such as Robert Mueller’s in the present day, must be uncovering new information about links to Russians. People have a mental idea, likewise, that something like the Carter Page FISA surveillance, which was authorized in October 2016, allowed the FBI to start looking at things that happened in October 2016. Perhaps, our minds suppose, the FBI could then reconstruct by other methods things that happened before October 2016 – while continuing to monitor what was going on with Mr. Page after October 2016. However we visualize it, we think of things as unfolding at the time we find out about them, or of insight being gained on or after the dates when we know formal decisions were made.
In the age of big data, that is an erroneous mental image.
I’ve made this point many times before, but always as part of a larger post (e.g., most recently, here). The point probably gets lost in the weeds that way, when it needs instead to be always in the foreground of our thinking.

David Hogg declares war on the NRA: a ‘thumb’ war

You can see why colleges were so eager to accept this kid. Boy wonder David Hogg has been a veritable fountain of ideas on how to end senseless school shootings or, in his vernacular, “change the world.” First, he tried boycotting two major investment firms whose portfolios include gun manufacturers, but unlike E.F. Hutton, no one listened. He had similar luck going after FedEx, whose value rose $640 million a day after Hogg declared war on it. Hogg needn’t have felt bad about that: The world of high finance tends not to notice emotional teenagers fighting for a mythical cause.
On Wednesday Hogg tried channeling the 1970s with a “die-in” at Florida supermarket chain Publix because of its support for conservative gubernatorial candidate Adam Putnam, who is pro-NRA. Here is a video of the protesters in action … er, in inaction:

This is well worth a watch. This older lady is calm and informed. She makes excellent points about the situation in the UK and the current consequences of speaking out against hijra, the colonization of her nation, by muslims.
I know everything she knows and I too am an “older lady.” I can only hope that I will maintain my composure and keep my brain working, pumping out irrefutable facts, when the time presents itself.
It is not so much, IMO, worth watching this video to learn anything new. What is worth watching is how this woman presents herself and her POV.

“Hungarian deputy prime minister Zsolt Semjen has warned that an “Islamic invasion” is bringing about a demographic transformation which will reduce Europeans to a “minority in our own continent”.
Breitbart London reported some of the Deputy Prime Minister’s remarks to hundreds of thousands of ethnic Hungarians at a pilgrimage gathering in Transylvania, Romania earlier this week, and has now seen a full transcript of his speech.
“European civilization is now in extreme danger, for two reasons,” he said in previously unseen remarks, naming the first of these reasons as “the Islamic invasion”.
“Here I would like to stress that I regard Islam as a great civilization and a great world religion,” he said — but added that this “does not change the words of the Bible: ‘Everyone under their own fig tree.’
“Islam is not part of European civilization. Consequently, if large numbers of Muslims flow into Europe, then family reunification [chain migration], demographic trends, and the fact that Islam does not willingly assimilate – or even integrate – into European civilisation, mean that very soon we could become a minority in our own continent.”
Semjen pointed out that “parallel societies” have already developed in parts of Europe, that the threat of “living under the shadow of sharia” was real, and that this might be “the last possible moment at which we can still halt this process.”
“Indeed, I believe that there are some who are already lost,” he added sadly.
“I would venture to say that this is the last French generation which will be able to live the French way of life in France.”
Semjen said that the second key factor in Europe’s transformation, and the one which had allowed Islam to penetrate Europe “like a hot knife cutting through butter”, was “hatred of the church, represented down the centuries by revolutionary Jacobins, communists, and ’68ers, who have successively attempted to deliberately suppress and annul Europe’s Christian identity.”
Semjen claimed that this process had “brutally intensified over the past decade” and blasted the “EU decision-makers” who have “devalued and hollowed out Christian civilisation from within,” and decreased Europe’s birth rates through policies which have undermined the family.
“To be able to defend ourselves, therefore, we must first of all revive the self-esteem and pride of our own Christian civilization,” he declared.
“Here it is very important to recognize that Christian civilisation has been created by Christian faith and religion, but members of this civilization also include those who are not churchgoers,” he added.
“So while traditional Christian belief is welcome, this is not a question of religion… Christian civilization is also of vital importance to those whose belief is in European identity. In this sense, therefore, what we are really talking about is European self-defence.”
emjen said that Hungary’s challenge to the attitude of the European Union — which he characterised as “migration is ultimately a good thing: why, after all, do we need Christianity here, or nation states?” — by erecting a border wall and halting illegal mass migration, had encouraged others across the continent.
“Now Austria is with us, and the Italian elections have shown in black and white that most Italians do not want to be an immigrant country, and do not want to surrender the Italian way of life and their country’s Christian civilization,” he said.
“I think that today this is the kind of revitalising force which will also awaken the citizens of Germany and France to the fact that if Hungary can stop immigration and reject a future as an immigrant country, then perhaps they too have the chance to choose another path,” he added — but warned that the globalist establishment would step up the pressure on Hungary because of this.
“In every forum we are attacked by EU leaders telling all kinds of lies about us, because they want to prove that migration cannot be stopped,” he said.
“This is why they want to ruin Hungary and overthrow the Hungarian government.””

Canada: A “Different” Kind of Antisemitism?

In Berlin, on evening of the May 17, 2018, two men wearing Jewish skull caps were attacked by three Arabic speaking men, who repeatedly cursed at them and called them “yahudi,” Jew, in Arabic. One of the Arabs knifed one of the men, Adam Armoush, with his belt. The attack was recorded, and the video widely seen.
Ironically, Adam is not a Jew. He is an Israeli Arab, who was wearing the skull cap to test whether it was unsafe to show oneself as a Jew in Berlin. He was skeptical; he has now reconsidered.
One of the assailants, a 19 year old refugee, claiming he was from Syria, later turned himself into the police.
In response to the attack, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that she was saddened, and that it was depressing that antisemitism had not been destroyed for good in Germany. There were, in fact, more than 1,000 antisemitic incidents in Berlin last year alone. Merkel pointed out that, in addition to some traditional German antisemitism remaining, “We have a new phenomenon of refugees or people of Arab origin who bring another form of anti-Semitism into the country.”
Germany’s first Antisemitism Commissioner, Felix Klein, pointed out that “We’ve observed that Salafist and Islamist extremists seek to approach refugees in Germany and try to incite anti-Semitism and hatred.” Muslim Arabs speakers as well as Iranians Pakistanis, Afghans, Muslim Africans and Turkic speakers from Turkey and Central Asia, would be vulnerable to such influences.
Throughout Europe during the past decade, there have been many attacks on Jews.[1]

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has threatened to severe security cooperation with Israel if the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted, according to the Palestine Information Centre.
Quoting Hebrew media sources, the news site reported that the PA intelligence chief Majed Faraj sent a letter to his Israeli counterpart Nadav Argaman warning him against any action that would help alleviate the suffering of the population in Gaza.
The warning allegedly came after reports surfaced that Egypt and Qatar would help mediate a long-term truce between Israel and Hamas that would relax the blockade, now in its eleventh year.
Such a plan is thought to be detrimental to the interests of the PA, which seeks to pressure Hamas into handing over control of the Strip, following failed reconciliation talks at the end of last year.

France: New terrorism laws may undercut human rights and freedoms, says UN expert
Fionnuala Ni Aolain, the UN Special Rapporteur on the protection of human rights said she was particularly concerned that tough new security laws passed last November, may disproportionately stigmatize and further marginalize Muslim citizens.
She said it was clear that Muslims in France “have been the community primarily subject to exceptional measures both during the state of emergency and the new law, in tandem with other counter-terrorism measures,” Ms. Ni Aolain said, highlighting the example of mosque closures as an encroachment on religious freedom.
“There is no doubt that the State may lawfully engage in restrictions to protect public order, but a clear tipping point to exceptionality arises when counter-terrorism measures engage profound, sustained and potentially disproportionate effects on the enjoyment of fundamental human rights and civil liberties,” she added.
At the Government’s invitation, Ms. Ni Aolain visited France from 14 to 23 May where she took account of the serious security challenges faced by French authorities. But she said the on-going threat of terror attacks and pressure on security services, did not excuse how laws were being implemented.
“It is deeply concerning that the Muslim minority community is being constructed as a per se ‘suspect community’ through the sustained and broad application of a counter-terrorism law,” she said at the end of the visit.
The new counter-terror measures came into force last November, formally ending a nearly two-year state of emergency after the 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris.
Ms. Ni Aolain expressed concerns during the emergency period, that there were insufficient checks and balances to protect against administrative measures, including freedoms of movement, privacy, religious belief and practice.
According to the Special Rapporteur’s assessment, the continuing effect of these measures constitutes a de facto state of qualified emergency in ordinary French law.
She was particularly mindful of the effects these laws had on the of rights by French Muslim citizens and recommended that the Government create an independent body to oversee counter-terrorism and exceptional national security powers.
“France must continue to work in genuine partnership with all its citizens and take specific steps to prevent this conflation, which includes best practice on independent oversight, community consultation, prevention, and remedy when violations of human rights are established through legal and administrative action,” underscored the UN expert.
Special Rapporteurs and independent experts are appointed by the Geneva-based UN Human Rights Council, on an honorary basis, to examine and report back on a specific human rights theme or country situation.

Turkish regime blasts French magazine over Erdogan cover
Turkish presidential advisor Ibrahim Kalin slammed French news magazine Le Point on Thursday for its cover branding Turkey’s Islamist President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as a “dictator.”
“A French magazine called President Erdogan a ‘dictator’,” Kalin tweeted. “We know these attacks. We know what their purpose is. The nation and oppressed people see what is happening. The days that Turkey was taking instructions from you are over. You cannot bring them back by calling Erdogan a ‘dictator’,” he said.
Prominent newsweekly Le Point had put Erdogan’s photograph on its cover this week with the title “The Dictator.”
Turkey is ranked 157th among 180 countries in the 2018 World Press Freedom Index released by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) on Wednesday. If Turkey falls two more places, it will make it to the list of countries on the blacklist, which have the poorest record in press freedom.
Turkey is the biggest jailer of journalists in the world. The most recent figures documented by SCF show that 253 journalists and media workers were in jail as of May 11, 2018, most in pretrial detention. Of those in prison 192 were under arrest pending trial while only 61 journalists have been convicted and are serving their time. Detention warrants are outstanding for 142 journalists who are living in exile or remain at large in Turkey.
Detaining tens of thousands of people over alleged links to the Gülen movement, the government also closed down some 200 media outlets, including Kurdish news agencies and newspapers, after the coup attempt in Turkey on July 15, 2016.

Le cas d’Avignon n’est pas « un acte isolé » comme le prétend l’afficheur JCDecaux. A Avignon où des nationalistes Turcs pro-Erdogan ont arraché d’un panneau publicitaire l’affiche de la couverture de l’hebdomadaire « Le Point » avec la photo d’Erdogan et titrée « Le dictateur ». Mais Avignon n’est pas un cas isolé car samedi 26 mai en début d’après-midi, plusieurs personnes -probablement d’origine turque- ont arraché d’un kiosque à journaux des boulevards de Valence (Place Porte-Neuve près des rues piétonnes) l’affiche de la couverture du « Le Point » avec l’image d’Erdogan titrée « Le dictateur ». Selon certains témoignages, la police de Valence arrivée très vite sur les lieux aurait procédé à une ou plusieurs interpellations. A suivre.

Le Pontet : situation tendue, la Une du Point remise en place
Une vingtaine de gendarmes de la compagnie d’Avignon dont ceux du Psig se trouvent actuellement sur la place Joseph Thomas en plein centre ville du Pontet. À la demande du maire, la Une du magazine Le Point consacrée à “Erdogan, le dictateur” a été remise en place dans la sucette publicitaire par l’annonceur JC Decaux, au kiosque à journaux. Des membres de la communauté turque se trouvent aussi sur les lieux.
Les pro-Erdogan demandent aux élus présents sur place et au directeur de cabinet du maire Joris Hébrard, Xavier Magnin, de retirer à nouveau cette Une. Ce dernier vient de leur annoncer qu’il n’accéderait pas à leur demande en raison de la liberté d’expression. La situation est très tendue et certains membres de la communauté auraient menacé de revenir ce soir s’installer sur la place. Un dispositif de gendarmerie pourrait rester en place tout le week-end.
Vendredi après-midi, une dizaine de membres de la communauté turque du Pontet, de toute évidence pro Erdogan, avaient réclamé la suppression de la première page du Point du kiosque à journaux auprès de l’afficheur publicitaire JC Decaux. En attendant l’arrivée de l’affichiste, la dizaine d’homme avaient déroulé un portrait du président turc, recouvrant également l’affiche du magazine L’Express. La scène avait été filmée et la vidéo diffusée sur la page Facebook La “Turquie contemporaine”, animée par des opposants au régime turc. La vidéo se terminait avec l’arrivée du représentant du groupe publicitaire, “venu spécialement de Marseille” qui, intimidé et entouré de la dizaine d’hommes, n’avait d’autre choix que de retirer la Une de nos confrères et de s’en aller.
