I know a lot of Evangelicals – bedrock Zionists – they’d LOL at Liberation Theology: a “mixture of Marx and the Bible”!
I don’t know any anti-PT Evangelicals.
Maybe they wouldn’t talk to me. I don’t listen to lashon hara, so maybe that’s why. But I can’t remember any time I’ve had to walk away from a conversation with them because of it.
Lashon_hara https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lashon_hara
Speech and Lashon Ha-Ra http://www.jewfaq.org/speech.htm
I said that the video was BS and stand by that statement, some people are trying to make evangelicals feel guilty about supporting Trump.
The fact that they have to use lies to try and achieve their purpose shows how weak their arguments are.
In complete agreement with you.
I don’t know which is scarier, their lies or the fact they think we are stupid enough to believe their lies.
Second option is scarier because it includes the first.
Daesh Reportedly Claims Assassination of Iraq Election Candidate (sputniknews, May 7, 2018)

Similar information was received by Sputnik earlier on Monday from local sources in the province of Ninewa, who stated that Zarzur was shot dead near his house when he returned home from morning prayer. His murder is the first attack on participants of the pre-election campaign in Iraq.
However, no official statement on the attack has been issued so far…”
Merkel-Led Union Reportedly Promoting ‘Value Lessons’ for Refugee Kids (sputniknews, May 7, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/europe/201805071064209049-germany-refugee-children-lessons/
“The parties want to teach the rule of law, gender equality, press freedom and human dignity to the children of refugees in school. The project to introduce special classes, which would place these values above cultural and religious diversity, is to be adopted at the Union leadership conference this week.
The leaders of the Christian Democratic Union and its Bavarian sister party, the Christian Social Union, in the federal and state parliaments plan to introduce “value lessons,” or so-called “rule of law classes” in schools for refugee children across Germany, according to the newspaper Rheinische Post.
The outlet cites a proposed resolution, which is expected to be adopted at the conference of the CDU/CSU leadership, who meet in Frankfurt am Main on May 7. The party leader, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, is also slated to attend the meeting. The conference will address integration and refugee policy.
“The integration of those who could stay in Germany is a priority, not in the least to preserve social peace,” the project, cited by the paper, reads.
The draft precisely states that constitutional norms, such as the respect for human dignity, the free democratic order, the freedom of expression and the press, the state monopoly on force and the equal rights of men and women are “indispensable values, standing above cultural or religious diversity.”
The initiative names learning the German language and values an “indispensable condition for successful integration.” The proclaimed goals of these classes are to help refugees orient in the system of German values, the rule of law as well as cultivate “limits and obligations of the German constitutional state.”
The idea was initially brought up by Bavarian State Head Markus Söder from the CSU and by his colleague from the state of Hesse Volker Bouffier from the CDU. The latter advocated the plan in the interview with Spiegel, stating that a similar, two-year integration project in refugee centers had been “very successful.”
“That is why we want to use this experience and expand the classes in the new term,” Hesse’s state head told the media.
Tougher Stance on Migration
The initiative has come amid heated debate around the stance on the migration policy in the new coalition government that the CDU/CSU formed this March with the Social Democratic Party (SPD), which has to deal with the recent mass influx of asylum seekers.
Germany’s new Interior minister Horst Seehofer, the former head of state of Bavaria, known for its independent stance on federal issues, has been in the spotlight for his strong position on the migrant issue.
Shortly after taking office, in an interview with the German newspaper Das Bild, he said, “Islam doesn’t belong to Germany.” The remark triggered fierce debates within the country.
It’s been also reported that he plans to introduce new restrictions for family reunions of refugees. Under new rules, discussed by the parliament, only spouses, parents of underage children and underage unmarried refugees will get permission to immigrate to Germany.
The restriction will also affect the recipients of social benefits such as the Hartz IV program, as the proposed law states that family reunification can be refused for those who depend on certain types of allowances “for supporting other family members or other members of the household.”
The German Parliament had approved reunification entry for 1,000 families monthly, which was suspended until August 2018 in 2016, according to the grand coalition agreement between CDU and SPD, who was initially against capping the number of asylum seekers and in favor of ending the freeze on family reunions. The right-wing Alternative for Germany Party (AfD) who, in a historic move, took third place in the 2017 Parliamentary election with demands for a stricter refugee policy, has been promoting a cap on all immigration and the closure of the German border.”

Police launch crime crackdown after FOUR shootings in 24 hours including London’s 62nd murder this year, an acid attack and several stabbings on bloody Bank Holiday weekend (dailymail, May 7, 2018)
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5698091/Bloody-Sunday-Boys-aged-13-15-shot-day-carnage.html
“The Met is to send out extra patrols and increase ‘stop and search’ today after a bloody crime wave of shootings including the murder of a 17-year-old and one drive-by attack where a 13-year-old was gunned in the head but survived.
There have also been stabbings and a suspected acid attack on three victims after a Bank Holiday weekend of chaos so far on the capital’s streets.
Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton was murdered in south London on Saturday less than 24 hours before a 13-year-old and 15-year-old were shot in broad daylight in Harrow, north London.
The 17-year-old was the 62nd victim to be killed in the capital this year after London’s murder rate overtook New York’s in February and March.
His bereft mother Pretana Morgan visited the scene where her son was murdered and pleaded for children to ‘stop killing each other’.
She said: ‘Any loss of life is a loss. It doesn’t matter where they come from. It doesn’t matter what religion, what culture, what skin colour…a life is a life.’
Two boys, aged 13 and 15, were shot on a day a day of carnage on Sunday that also saw a 20-year-old man stabbed to death in Luton and a 22-year-old injured in a separate shooting in New Cross, south London.
And last night a 43-year-old was stabbed in Perivale, north-west London on Sunday night, after a dispute about driving.
Police said the man was attacked on Buckingham Avenue near the Tube station at around 9pm after a number of residents questioned a man driving a blue car about the nature of his driving in the small residential street.
Just before 6.30pm on Sunday, police were flagged down by a member of the public in New Cross Road, south east London, where a 22-year-old man was suffering from gunshot wounds.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to a central London hospital where his condition is not life-threatening, Scotland Yard said.
Meanwhile, three people were injured in a ‘noxious substance’ assault following an altercation between two groups in east London at around 5.20am on Sunday.
Police are investigating whether the men, aged 22 and 27, and a 17-year-old boy, suffered life-changing injuries in the incident, at Shacklewell Lane in Hackney.
Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Messinger, who is in charge of policing in Southwark, said: ‘The violence used has rightly caused concern and we are doing all we can to address this. Over the Bank Holiday weekend, additional officers are on the streets across the capital, working hard to keep London safe. They are using highly visible local patrols supported by armed response, traffic motorcycles, dog units, and air support – alongside plain clothes intelligence-led operations.
‘Locally we are also employing intelligence-led search powers under Section 60 – my colleagues on the streets are using this power really effectively, seizing knives, stopping cars of individuals carrying weapons and making arrests.
‘Furthermore, we have been working with our partners and the local authority, speaking regularly with community leaders to brief them on our response.
‘Violence has no place on our streets. If you are carrying a weapon in Southwark linked to gang activity, you need to know that we can and will take action against you.
‘I want the community to help us tackle this problem. As a father, community member and a police officer, I will do absolutely all I can to keep young people and the wider community safe. We can only achieve this if we work together.’…”

Fight in Greek refugee camp leaves 6 injured, 4 arrested (abcnews, May 7, 2018)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/fight-greek-refugee-camp-leaves-injured-arrested-54980963
“Greek authorities say six people were injured and four others were arrested following an overnight fight in a refugee camp near the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki.
Police said Monday the three-hour fight in the Lagadikia camp involved about 250 people and apparently broke out after a group of Syrians said a group of Algerians had harassed Syrian women. The fight quickly spread through the camp, with those involved using knives and planks of wood.
An increase of arrivals of refugees and other migrants across Greece’s northeastern border with Turkey has led to overcrowding in camps in northern Greece, with Lagadikia now housing 250 people more than its 360-person capacity. The new arrivals are being housed in offices and other communal areas of the camp, and sleep on the floor.”

Iran’s Rouhani seeks EU guarantees not to scrap nuke deal (abcnews, May 7, 2018)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/irans-rouhani-seeks-eu-guarantees-scrap-nuke-deal-54981085
“President Hassan Rouhani says Iran would be willing not to abandon the nuclear deal even if the United States pulls out, providing the European Union offers guarantees that Iran would keep benefiting from the accord.
Rouhani’s remarks came ahead of President Donald Trump’s decision expected later this week on whether to pull America out of the landmark deal between Iran and world powers. Rouhani spoke during a meeting with officials in the northeastern city of Mashhad on Monday.
He says a U.S. pullout would be a “strategic mistake.”
He says that “what we want for the deal is that it’s preserved and guaranteed by the non-Americans” — a reference to other signatories of the 2015 agreement.
He added in this case “then the U.S. pullout will be ok.””

Boris Johnson warns US against ending the Iran deal
Germany: Berlin, Paris pledge to stand by Iran deal if US withdraw
The Foreign Ministers of Germany and France pledged to stand by the Iran nuclear deal in the case of a United States withdrawal during a joint press conference in Berlin on Monday.
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said that Germany, France and the United Kingdom were dedicated to maintaining the deal, which they see as bringing ‘more security’ to the world.
Maas warned against a risk of escalation were the deal invalidated.
“We are not of the opinion that there is any justifiable reason to pull out of the deal and we advocate that to our American friends,” Maas said.
“We are determined to save this deal because this accord safeguards against nuclear proliferation and is the right way to stop Iran getting a nuclear weapon,” French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said.
Le Drian also called on continuing dialogue with Russia, after saying Moscow was ‘not an easy partner.’
What they say makes no sense. Inspections are carried out by Iran’s inspectors. Nobody has any control over Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Other strategies are currently being implemented in Iran. Trump has no valid reason to stick with the Deal.

Iran: US withdrawal ‘okay’ if others guarantee JCPOA – Rouhani
In keeping with his recent public addresses, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani commented on the US’s potential withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Iran nuclear deal, speaking to Administrative, Development and Elite Council in Mashhad on Monday.
“If what we want from the JCPOA will be provided and guaranteed by non-Americans, well America’s withdrawal will be okay,” Rouhani said, speaking of other signatories to the 2015 agreement.
“Someone will leave that has always caused trouble,” he added warning that the US would be the ‘main losers’ if they dropped the deal.

S. was arrested in Frankfurt last year on suspicion of being a recruiter and smuggler for IS since August 2015, and of planning an attack. Tunisia accused him of involvement in the March 2015 attack on the Bardo museum in Tunis, as well as a March 2016 attack on the border town of Ben Guerdane.

It says three boats were stopped on Sunday before leaving Libyan territorial waters off the coast of western districts and cities of Zuwara, Sabratha, and Ras Ajdir, which are close to Tunisia.
The first boat was carrying 98 migrants, including nine women, and it was intercepted near the shores of Zuwara. Most on board were Arab nationals from Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco.
The second boat, stopped near Sabratha, was carrying 114 migrants. A migrant from that boat drowned and a second is missing.
The third boat, with 97 migrants, was intercepted near Tripoli’s Janzour area.

Israel fears ‘explosion of violence’ as US prepares to open embassy in Jerusalem
Decision to relocate into the disputed city in the same week as Israel’s 70th anniversary raises concerns of increased tension
Police in Israel have started patrols and security sweeps of a southern Jerusalem neighbourhood, anxiously preparing for a US embassy inauguration that Israelis and Palestinians fear may launch a week of violence.
The move on 14 May will mark the start of a potentially volatile week when Israel will celebrate its 70th anniversary and Palestinians mark the “catastrophe”, or Nakba, of their displacement on the 15th.
Nakba day has previously seen violence as the Israeli army responds to demonstrations in the occupied territories. This year, tensions are far higher than usual. Six weeks of protests along the Gaza border, during which Israeli soldiers have shot dead nearly 40 people and wounded hundreds, will culminate that week.
There are fears that those attending the rallies may attempt to breach the perimeter, a move that could lead to mass casualties as Israeli snipers are operating under rules of engagement that permit live fire.

Netanyahu Says Better to Face Iran Sooner Rather Than Later
Israel will do what’s needed to block Iranian aggression, sooner rather than later, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday.
“Nations that didn’t act in time against murderous aggression against them paid a much higher price later on,” said Netanyahu, who often invokes European powers’ 1938 agreement to let Nazi Germany annex portions of Czechoslovakia. “We don’t seek escalation, but are prepared for any scenario.”
Frictions between Israel and Iran have escalated in the runup to President Donald Trump’s decision this month whether to quit the Iran nuclear deal, and Netanyahu’s comments reinforced concerns that the two Middle East powers might clash directly in Syria, Iran’s client. Other Israeli officials have suggested that a withdrawal from the accord and renewed U.S. sanctions could either bring Iran back to the negotiating table with a weaker hand, or even lead to regime change.

Lebanon vote results set to cement Hezbollah dominance
Hezbollah was poised to seal its dominance of Lebanon Monday with results for the country’s first general election this decade expected to confirm the Iran-backed party as the main winner.
The polls were also marked by a low turnout of 49.2 percent and the emergence of a civil society movement challenging Lebanon’s oligarchs was set to clinch a pair of seats in parliament.
The number of Hezbollah MPs in the 128-seat parliament may not increase but astute pre-electoral tactics have secured it enough allies to withstand political challenges on strategic issues.
It will also benefit from the fragmentation of its foes, among them Prime Minister Saad Hariri whose Sunni-dominated Future Movement could go down as the election’s biggest loser.
“Hariri’s loss will be the distinguishing mark of these elections, which will have consequences on the battle to form a new government,” the pro-Hezbollah Al-Akhbar daily wrote Monday.

Pentagon moves closer to ‘swarming drones’ capability with new systems test
Flying aircraft carriers that launch and recover fleets of small, inexpensive drones could soon be part of the U.S. military arsenal, as the Pentagon works with private technology partners to engineer that vision into reality.
In late April the Pentagon’s advanced research-and-development arm, known as DARPA, awarded a 21-month, $38.6 million contract to Dynetics, a Huntsville, Alabama-based company, to work on the software and technology. San Diego-based Kratos, a venture-funded tech company that specializes in cheap drones used for target practice, joined as a subcontractor and will build a new class of drones whose wings can be folded up for easier storage in the belly of a plane.
For the U.S. military, gaining the ability to have multiple drones quickly and reliably take off from a plane and return to it would be a big step forward, aviation experts say. The goal is to build the technology and know-how needed to apply hordes of small drones on the battlefield.
“You can send volleys of swarms over and over again and really just overwhelm an adversary with that complexity,” said Tim Keeter, a deputy program manager and chief engineer at Dynetics. The lower cost could also allow the company’s military customers to take greater risks and be more aggressive on the battlefield, Keeter said.

U.S. Navy resurrects Second Fleet in face of growing challenge from Russia in the Atlantic
By LU Staff May 6, 2018
The U.S. Navy is bringing back a formerly disbanded Atlantic fleet to counter a growing threat from Russia and other international powers, military officials said Friday.
Adm. John Richardson, head of naval operations, announced the resurrection of the Second Fleet during a change of command ceremony in Norfolk, Va., the home of the Navy’s Fleet Forces command.
The reconstituted fleet will have “operational and administrative authorities” over assigned ships, aircraft and landing forces on the East Coast and north Atlantic Ocean.
“Our National Defense Strategy makes clear that we’re back in an era of great power competition as the security environment continues to grow more challenging and complex,” Richardson said, referring to President Donald Trump’s new strategic document identifying Russia and China as America’s primary geopolitical and military threats.
“That’s why today, we’re standing up Second Fleet to address these changes, particularly in the north Atlantic,” he added.

Poll: The blue wave that had been forecast in November has turned into a red wave
By Thomas Madison May 6, 2018
As recently as a week ago, the mainstream media were abuzz with news of the big “blue wave” coming in November. Then, suddenly, the leftist talking heads stopped drooling over the expected big “blue wave.”
Now it looks as though the big “blue wave” has turned into the big “red wave,” at least as far as the Senate is concerned, where Republicans are now expected to pick up as many as nine seats.
That would obviously be a huge pickup. With nine more seats in the Senate, the GOP would enjoy a filibuster-proof majority and the Trump agenda would sail through to passage.
The Daily Wire has the particulars:

Jakarta court rejects attempt by Hizb ut-Tahrir to reverse its ban (theguardian, May 7, 2018)
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/may/07/indonesia-jakarta-court-rejects-hizb-ut-tahrir-attempt-to-reverse-ban
“A legal attempt by the Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir to overturn a decision that saw it outlawed in the world’s largest Muslim-majority country has been rejected by an Indonesian court.
Reading the verdict at Jakarta state administrative court, the head judge, Tri Cahya Indra Permana, said the lawsuit was “rejected in full”.
Hizb ut-Tahrir was banned in Indonesia on the basis of a 2017 presidential decree that gives the government powers to disband groups deemed a threat to national unity.
The ruling on Monday upheld that decision, with the judicial panel stating that the government had acted according to procedure and Hizb ut-Tahrir runs counter to Indonesia’s state ideology.
The Islamic group, that had an estimated 10,000 members in Indonesia before it was dissolved, supports the establishment of a global caliphate.
Under heavy guard from police and military personnel, hundreds of hardline supporters dressed in white skullcaps gathered outside the courtroom, where they conducted a mass prayer before the verdict was announced.

“Let them work!” – German business advocates for rejected asylum seekers (reuters, May 7, 2018)

“SCHIERLING, Germany (Reuters) – Denied asylum and put on deportation notice, Iranian seamstress Masoumeh Bayat in February became one of Germany’s Geduldete — “tolerated persons”.
The German government acknowledges Bayat, her husband and two daughters can’t return to Iran where they could face reprisal for converting from Islam to Christianity.
But the three-year permit that allowed her to work at the Fahnen Koessinger textile factory has been revoked.
“What happened to Bayat shows the idiocy of the system,” said Florian Englmaier, owner of the firm in the southern Bavarian town of Schierling, who hired her in September 2016.
“They don’t let her work, they can’t deport her to Iran, and so they make her a burden on the welfare system,” he said. An order for a major client was delayed by her departure, he said, and he has still not found a replacement.
It’s a big source of frustration for the hundreds of small- and medium-sized “Mittelstand” companies that eagerly hired asylum seekers in the midst of a labour shortage, only to see their work permits revoked. A record 1.2 million jobs remain unfilled in Germany, the Federal Labour Office says.
“We need security for refugee workers so that we can plan long-term,” Englmaier said.
Faced with cases like Englmaier’s, business leaders are pushing the government to reform a system that leaves decisions over the fate of the Geduldete to Germany’s 16 states, with inconsistent outcomes that often seem arbitrary.
Their efforts could be foiled by politics, however.
After losses to a far-right anti-immigrant party in last September’s election, Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservatives and their centre-left Social Democrat (SPD) coalition partners can ill afford further liberalising immigration policies that are already seen by many voters as overly generous.
A two-pronged approach is taking shape, according to a federal government official who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity: lenient rules for migrants who are already in Germany in exchange for tougher rules for ones who come in the future.
“All refugees who are either studying, have qualifications, or are in preparatory vocational courses, should be granted secure residency permits,” said Eberhard Sasse, president of the Bavarian Industry and Commerce Chambers (BIHK), which has called on the government to consider an amnesty for the Gedultete.

https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20180507-erdogan-slams-international-communitys-apathy-for-palestine/
“Speaking at the International Mount of Olives Peace Awards at the Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said:
Palestinians are the symbol of all oppressed people in the world because of the persecution, massacres, and injustices they have been subjected to.
Erdogan said the Palestine cause was not an exclusive issue of a nation or a city, adding that the future of humanity would be determined according to its stance against the Palestine and Jerusalem cause, reports Anadolu Agency.
“If the reverse happens, a dark future will be awaiting us, one in which all rights, freedoms, and moral and conscientious measures are absent or eliminated and in which tyranny prevails.”
Erdogan said what was happening in Palestine was the legitimization of tyranny, highlighting Israel’s mounting persecution against Palestinians whose sole guilt was trying to defend their own land.
The indifference of the international community towards the Palestinians, who have had tens of martyrs and thousands of injured people during these [Israeli] attacks, is the sign of a future in which no society and individual will be safe.
Erdogan accused the international institutions responsible for ensuring peace and security in Palestine, calling them “hypocrites”.
He also stressed that when it came to delivering aid, great economic powers fiercely competing with each other whenever an economic, political or military interest was at stake had fallen behind Turkey…”
Very dark Neo-Ottoman future is materializing on the horizon…
This future will be very dark and bloody.
Psychopath Erdogan is the new Hitler and Turkish nationalism can be equated to the rise of the Third Reich.

“Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has blamed the United States for spending money on “the killing of people” rather than humanitarian assistance.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was quoted by the Turkish television news channel NTV as saying that the weapons that the United States supplies to Syrian Kurds are ostensibly being used against Turkey.

UK May Deport 1,000 Migrants Amid Accusations of Anti-Terror ‘Abuse’ (sputniknews, May 7, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/europe/201805071064218455-uk-home-office-migrant-deportation/
“The Home Office denies the recent claims of some activists and MPs that it wrongly refuse leave to migrants because of tax discrepancies, saying that the authorities refuse permits only to those who deliberately lie to the government and pose a threat to national security.
About 1,000 high skilled migrants may be deported from the UK for security reasons, as the Home Office has refused “indefinite leave to remain” (IRL) according to a paragraph of the Immigration Act, targeting terrorist threats. The Home Office claims that the applicants have provided false information.
Their guidelines state that the ruling is generally applicable in cases on “criminality, a threat to national security, war crimes or travel bans.” However, the caseworkers still can deny the IRL if their “character and conduct” doesn’t seem to be desirable to allow applicants to live in the UK.
People acknowledged by the Home Office as threats are prohibited from obtaining a UK visa. Those deported on terror suspicions will also get a mark on their passport…”

“Egypt’s chief prosecutor on Monday referred 555 terror suspects to a military court on charges of joining a local affiliate of the Islamic State group.
The suspects set up dozens of small militant cells and carried out a total of 63 attacks against army and police forces in the restive northern part of the Sinai Peninsula, prosecutor Nabil Sadek said in a statement.
The charges against them, he said, include killing and plotting to kill security personnel, attacking military checkpoints in Northern Sinai and sabotaging a gas pipeline between Egypt and Jordan.
Only 216 of the 555 suspects are in custody, the statement said.
Also Monday, a criminal court in Cairo sentenced nine suspects to life in prison on terror-related charges…”
Putin inaugurated as Russian president (FULL VIDEO)
Vladimir Putin is inaugurated in Moscow for his fourth term as president of the Russian Federation, marking the start of a six-year term.
The presidential election was held on March 18, 2018, when Putin was re-elected with 77 percent of the vote.
( 52 min )
I had a rather odd conversation with some far left leaning people yesterday, one of whom was an expat Russian who now lives in California. So, yeah left wing.
He told me that the Russians LOVE Putin and respect him and that so does he, and the vote was totally legit.
I don’t want to say too much about who and what this conversation was, but it was a social setting where no one knew me or what I did and was perfectly honest.
As expected at any social gathering now, one of the people at the table began to lead a hate-cheer against Donald Trump, and also as expected, because I very politely declined to hate President Trump, the table cleared itself.
I guess they all left the table because I was so intolerant of their belief that everyone must hate POTUS45.
But I found the Russian expat leftist view quite interesting. Often it is true that leftists are often quite conservative when they are talking about their own field of expertise or experience.
I’ve always found every commie remarkably similar in their charming vileness.
Our work is never done. My husband won’t accept any more dinner invitations because he knows I´ll do the exact same thing.
They see Putin as a real successor to the hero(see “criminal” for us) Stalin. Now I know this will raise hackles but many in Russia look back on the soviet period of dominance with fond feelings and after communism “fell” and a downward spiral occurred, they see Putin as the hard man that they need to make a russia feel proud again. Understandable. I just wish his flirtation with Iran was at an end as that could finish up as a fuse.

Sweden: Underage Schoolgirl Gang Raped, Police Don’t Want to Describe Attackers (breitbart, May 7, 2018)

“Police in Sweden seeking three men who ambushed and raped an underage girl on her way home from school do not want to release their descriptions.
The minor was assaulted in a cemetery at 3 o’clock in the afternoon in Östervåla, a locality with a population of just 1,600 in Heby Municipality, Uppsala, SVT reports.
The public broadcaster’s report indicates that “at least” one of the men raped her, and police investigator Daniel Nilsson confirmed the authorities “have a clear picture of what has happened and there is no doubt that the crime occurred inside the cemetery.”
Nilsson also confirmed police have a “good description” of the attackers — but say they will not disclose this description to the media while they are pursuing “other threads” despite the fact the offence occurred some days ago and they have yet to secure any arrests…”/
‘Huffington Post’ Lauds New Movement: Feminist Fish Sex!
On Friday, The Huffington Post led with the most important story of the day: women are now into fish sex. As in nailing the salmon, curing the whitefish, coring the tuna, smoking the sea bass. Yes, ladies are now apparently interested in the motion of the ocean. Why? Because all men are pigs, and hey, if you’ve gotta choose the seafood or the pork, better to sleep with the fishes than feed with the hogs.
Even as pathetic, self-pitying men complain about the problem of involuntary celibacy, pathetic, self-pitying women are now supposedly fantasizing about Flipper. Here’s Claire Fallon:

Greece puts 5 aid workers on trial for migrant smuggling (abcnews, May 7, 2018)
https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/greece-puts-aid-workers-trial-migrant-smuggling-54987093
“Five members of international aid groups have gone on trial in Greece for allegedly attempting to illegally bring migrants into the European Union country.
The three Spanish and two Danish men were arrested in January 2016 on the eastern Aegean Sea island of Lesbos, where the trial started Monday.
They have all denied wrongdoing, arguing that they were on the island to help migrants who were facing dangers at sea.
Lesbos for years has been at the heart of Greece’s immigration crisis. It is the main point of arrival for refugees and migrants crossing from the nearby Turkish coast in flimsy boats provided by smuggling rings.
International humanitarian groups have a strong presence on the island.”
Greek, Jewish Communities in US Seek to Block F-35 Sales to Turkey – Leader (sputniknews, May 7, 2018)
https://sputniknews.com/europe/201805071064224431-greece-turkey-us-f-35-sales-arms-embargo/
“MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Greek-American and American Jewish communities in the United States seek to promote legislation to strengthen Cyprus as a Western security base and block F-35 jet sales to Turkey, the executive director of the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC), Endy Zemenides, said on Monday.
“This legislation would remove the obstacles that keep Cyprus from becoming further established as a frontline state for Western security interests and prevent Turkey from holding the bilateral US-Cyprus relationship hostage to its intransigence on the Cyprus problem,” Zemenides said in his interview to the Greek Kathimerini newspaper.
Additionally, the two communities will continue the campaign for restricting the F-35 jet sales to Turkey “until Turkey starts behaving responsibly,” Zemenides said.
The move comes in line with the initiative “The End the Cyprus Arms Embargo Act”, introduced on April 13 by several congressmen of the US House of Representatives and aiming to lift the ban on providing weapons to Cyprus. The legislators explained the bill by the fact that the country is a vital strategic partner of the United States and a member of the coalition to counter Daesh*.
Amid the escalated tensions between Turkey and both Cyprus and US (with the latter the standoff is connected with Washington’s support for Kurdish militants in Syria), US House of Representatives released an annual defense policy bill stipulating a measure to temporarily halt weapons sales to Turkey last Friday.
Cyprus has been partitioned since 1974, when Turkey’s military entered the island’s northern part to protect Turks from attacks. That portion of the island later proclaimed itself the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Turkey maintains a military presence there and recognizes the TRNC as an independent state.
The US arms embargo, prohibiting the export of arms to “any of the armed forces in Cyprus,” has been in effect since December 1992.”
Turkey slammed French proposal to change quran
Turkey’s EU Affairs Minister Omer Celik on Sunday slammed a French manifesto proposing the removal of some quran verses and claimed the signatories had ideological affinity with the Islamic State.
“300 French writers and politicians asked for taking out some verses from holy quran by arguing that it spreads violence and antisemitism, Celik said on twitter, calling the manifesto the most striking example of intellectual violence and barbarity.
“Those people, with such a barbaric and unethical demand, actually announced that they have signed up to ideological affinity with DAESH,” Celik continued using the Arabic acronym for the Islamic State.
Celik added that this approach could only be subject of political psychiatry revealed the barbarity rising in the heart of Europe.
The manifesto was published in the French daily Le Parisien on April 21 and was signed by 300 prominent intellectuals and politicians, including former President Nicolas Sarkozy and former Prime Minister Manuel Valls. It argued that Quran incited violence and insisted that “the verses of the Quran calling for murder and punishment of Jews, Christians, and nonbelievers be struck to obsolescence by religious authorities,” so that “no believer can refer to a sacred text to commit a crime.”

French proposal demanding change in Quran draws ire of Turkish officials
A proposal demanding that some verses of the Quran be removed, signed by some 300 prominent French figures has drawn the ire of Turkish politicians.
Turkey’s European Union Affairs Minister Omer Celik slammed the French manifesto, saying those 300 prominent French figures were as “bigoted” as Daesh members, who infer violence from the holy book.
“This is the most striking example of intellectual violence and barbarism. Whoever these people are and whatever they have been doing up until now, they will go down at the beginning of the history of bigotry,” Celik wrote on Twitter.
“Barbarism is intellectually and politically centered in the modern world,” he said.
Çelik drew a parallel between the “barbaric and immoral” proposal and the ideology of Daesh terrorist group and said: “They could not tell in a better way that they are the closest ideological relative of Daesh. But this approach, which will be the subject of political psychiatry, reveals how barbarism has risen in the midst of Europe, and how this mentality, at least as dangerous as Daesh, keeps itself behind certain concepts,” he said.
“These are the most dangerous ones; those who conceal themselves behind an intellectual and political image. This is the mentality of those who are so-called anti-violence, but in fact, they worship the bigotry and violence. These 300 French are the same as Daesh, which infers violence from the humanity’s guide quran.”
Presidential Spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin also criticized the move, saying, “What ignorance and foolishness in modern ages!”
“The quran is not someone’s jigsaw puzzle. It is our holy book. It will be protected until the doomsday as it was revealed. Anti-Semitism is a hate ideology that emerged in Europe. Westerners who wish to solve this problem should question their own sources,” Kalin said in series of tweets.
On Twitter, Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag slammed the French proposal, which took the form of a manifesto signed by 300 French authors and politicians, saying that the signatories “are the Western versions of Daesh” terrorists, suggesting that they too have distorted Islam.
Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Deputy Chairman and spokesperson Mahir Unal also criticized the controversial move, saying it was “zealotry” at the least. Unal said that the “enmity against Islam” was related to the “mental state of Europe.” He termed the move against quran and signatories in the list “as the representatives of the modern Crusades.”
On April 21, 300 prominent French figures, including former President Nicolas Sarkozy and former Prime Minister Manuel Valls signed a manifesto, published in the French daily Le Parisien, demanding some parts of the Quran, which they claimed included violence and anti-Semitic references, be removed. Parisien and demanded some parts of the Quran, which they claimed have included violence and anti-Semitic references, be removed.

SWITZERLAND – THURGHAU – MAY 05 2018
Opening of the Albanian mosque “Masjid Nur” in Thurgau – Switzerland
[…] Arabic might appear sweet to the Arabs, when they hear it from their megaphones in their minarets, but in Albania and in all Albanian lands, in both sides of the border, it resembles a dog barking, a cosmic dog barking. This hi-tech mega-dog-barking shows better than anything else how absurd is the existence of Islam in Albania.…
I am becoming more and more convinced every day that it’s not worthwhile to make a distinction among practicing Muslims, some of which are supposed to be moderates, among whom are the officials of the Albanian Muslim Community, on the one side, and the radicals in the other side.
For as long as this Arabic mega-dog-barking is organized and executed by the Albanian Muslim Community, then for me even that is the same thing as the Islamic fundamentalists. Every mosque in Albania from which this mega-dog-barking arises is for me a machinegun of jihad, over the Albanian nation, over our dignity and future.

No you can’t make a distinction between practicing Moslems and jihadists, the difference is just a matter of degree of commitment and that can change up or down quickly.
Two kinds of muslims: terrorists and potential terrorists. The “Let God Sort them out” T-shirt was born for them.

AFGHANISTAN – Premature blast in a mosque leaves 11 militants dead in Ghazni province
At least eleven militants were killed in a premature explosion triggered by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in southeastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan.
The 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan Military in the Southeast said the incident has taken place inside a mosque in the restive Andar district.
The source further added that an IED went off among the militants in Ismail Kabuli mosque in Andar district, leaving at least 11 militants dead.
In the meantime, the Thunder Corps says at least 24 Improvised Explosive Devices were discovered and defused during separate operations in Logar and Ghazni provinces.
The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban militants have not commented regarding the report so far.
The anti-government armed militant groups frequently use explosives materials for the roadside bombings and car bombings to target the government staff and security personnel.
However, in majority of such incidents the ordinary civilians are targeted besides such bombings incur casualties to the security personnel and in some cases the Taliban militants themselves are killed or wounded.
A total of 10,453 civilian casualties – 3,438 people killed and 7,015 injured – were documented in the 2017 Annual Report released last month by the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and the UN Human Rights Office.
The report further added that the high number of casualties to the civilians were inflicted by suicide bombings and other attacks using improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

On January 19, 2017, John Forbes Kerry left his job at the State Department. Addressing Foggy Bottomers in the C Street lobby, he ended his speech by declaring, “This is not an end. This is a beginning. It’s a new beginning.” That’s just what departing politicos usually say, but he meant it.
Next January, a report appeared that Kerry had met with a top negotiator for the PLO in London.
The secret back-channel negotiator, Hussein Agha, was a close confidant of terrorist dictator Mahmoud Abbas, the racist PLO boss who around this same time had delivered a speech in which he cursed President Trump, shouting, “May your house be destroyed.” Agha was a frequent collaborator with Robert Malley, who allegedly ran Soros and Obama’s back channel to Hamas. Obama fired Malley during the campaign, but once in office brought him back in a variety of roles including as a lead negotiator on the Iran Deal scam and the National Security Council’s point man for the Middle East. Malley now heads Soros’ International Crisis Group and continues undermining America and defending the Iran Deal.
Kerry urged Agha to tell the PLO boss to “be strong”, “play for time” and “not yield to President Trump’s demands.”

Illegal Anti-Semitic Disruptions at the University of California
The peculiar indifference of UC administrators, police and Jewish organizations.
May 7, 2018
Barry Forman
As Americans, we support everyone’s right to freedom of speech and to peacefully protest, but we are also aware that disruption is distinct from protest. Interference with a public event deprives those in attendance of their own right to free speech and assembly. When this line is crossed, protestors become disruptors. In California, disrupting public events is a violation of penal code 403.
Yet here we are, another day, and another illegal anti-Semitic disruption has occurred on a UC campus. On May 3, an event sponsored by the UC Irvine College Republicans was disrupted by pro-Palestinian thugs and captured on video. Note that the disruptors had no interest in hearing the speakers or engaging in dialogue. They invaded the event approximately 40 minutes after it started (see 1:20:00 mark on the video) and began disrupting it shortly thereafter. Notice the use of a bullhorn (in a small classroom) in violation of UC Irvine policy. Also notice that the police do little for an extended period of time while observing the law being broken. The disruptors are eventually removed from the room, but the illegal disruption continues as shouting from outside continues to interfere with the audience’s ability to hear and to field questions.

DACA Ruling: Judicial Travesty Obstructs Presidential Authority
Fed. Judge Bates’ ruling ignores facts and national security.

The April 24, 2018 headline of the New York Times article, U.S. Must Keep DACA and Accept New Applications, Federal Judge Rules summed up Judge John D. Bates’ outrageous decision to force the Trump administration to continue the DACA program created by the Obama administration.
The judge has given the Trump administration 90 days to substantiate President Trump 90 days to justify his claim that DACA is illegal.
Judge Bates’ ruling ignores the indisputable fact that DACA was created by Obama’s Executive Order and not by legislation. Judge Bates apparently believes that Exeuctive Orders must extend beyond the administration of the president who issued those Executive Orders, even when the new president disagrees with them. Bates’ ruling obstructs President Trump’s ability to implement his policies.
In order to understand the issue we must begin by considering the origins of DACA, an acronym for Deferred Action – Childhood Arrival.
First of all, the action that is being deferred by DACA is the required departure of illegal aliens from the United States.

Media Endangers US Soldiers, Pumps Out Propaganda for Iran in Yemen
May 7, 2018
Daniel Greenfield
The recent New York Times story about the presence of Green Berets in Yemen trying to take out Iran’s Houthi missiles put their lives at risk.
That’s not unusual for the media. But the media also has a very specific agenda in Yemen.
Its articles and stories amplify the Iranian talking point that the Saudi strikes against their proxies have caused a “humanitarian disaster”. More accurately though, Obama’s Arab Spring destabilized Yemen. The resulting violence, which involved the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, various tribal and political authorities, and the Houthis, the Yemeni version of Hezbollah, a Shiite terror force backed by Iran, spun out of control, led to a Houthi takeover of much of the country, missile strikes against Saudi Arabia and the USS Mason.
Why would the Houthis do that?
Their motto is “Death to America”. If that sounds familiar, it’s because the Houthis are an Iranian catspaw.
https://www.frontpagemag.com/point/270109/media-endangers-us-soldiers-pumps-out-propaganda-daniel-greenfield
It’s the New York Times… Yemen was a humanitarian disaster before the Saudis showed up. When Khat cultivation takes up some 70% of its potable water resources and is the primary agriculture, there is a problem.
That said, God Bless the Saudis. The Green Berets assist the Saudis and have a secondary role to play in the scenario.
Remember this? https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/22/world/middleeast/trump-glowing-orb-saudi.html
Yemen doesn’t have much history as a unified country. A capsule summary of its recent history is useful:

Interesting paper on Contemporary Warfare. This is how GCC operates – the special maneuver groups in the Mid-East. RE Intelligence, there’s no mention of infiltration for the purpose of converting high-level commanders into double agents.
Just last week, we saw the fruit of such strategies when Israel displayed its Iranian treasure trove. How the coup was carried out: High-level converted IRGCs managed to move and store all nuclear research, and whatever, all into one place. Easy pickings.
I doubt the Israelis set foot in Iran, I think Saudis were involved (remember this: https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2018/04/mohammed-bin-salman-iran-israel/557036/). When CP Mohamed bin Salman speaks, the concept has already been applied.

Europe’s terror defenses pass to Belgian hands
Catherine De Bolle, new Europol chief, was in charge during Paris and Brussels attacks. And that’s the problem.
The first woman to run the EU’s law enforcement agency comes into the job with a lot of doubts to overcome.
The biggest: Her previous job.
Catherine De Bolle, who took over as head of Europol on Tuesday, was Belgium’s top cop during the terror attacks in Paris in 2015 that were partly planned in Brussels, and four months later when the same group struck the EU capital itself. Both of these exposed shortcomings in her country’s policing.
Citing her track record in Belgium, officials at Europol and several European security and intelligence services raised concerns about her ability to coordinate the Continent’s counterterrorism efforts, which is the agency’s main task. Belgian law enforcement drew widespread criticism in particular for failing to share information, both across borders but within Belgium itself, and connect the dots about terror threats.
Security and intelligence sources pointed out that the director of Europol must liaise with police forces from 27 countries and questioned whether she would have the authority to elicit cooperation from security services from across the EU.
“She failed to properly coordinate the country’s police services, one wonders how she will succeed in doing a better job on a European scale,” said a senior security analyst who spoke on condition of anonymity. “She does not allow critical voices to be heard and that is a handicap.”
De Bolle, who served as Commissioner General of the federal police from 2012 until last week, succeeds Rob Wainwright, a former intelligence analyst at MI5, Britain’s domestic intelligence service. He built a reputation as a strong communicator who used the authority of his office to push for better coordination among European agencies.
Presented with the doubts, De Bolle refuted criticism of her record in Belgium, pointing out that major EU countries including Germany, France and the U.K., as well as the U.S., have suffered deadly terror attacks.
“If … ‘failing’ is having an executed attack, then there are many other countries and authorities that failed in their fight against terrorism because they could not prevent an attack,” De Bolle told POLITICO over email.
“Not only in Europe, but also in the U.S. for example, the FBI interrogated the perpetrator of the attack in Orlando two times prior to the attacks, even a week before the attack,” she said.
She added that Belgian authorities “responded swiftly and in a well-organized manner immediately to the attacks.”
Critics at home
De Bolle has come under attack at home. Belgium’s Committee P, an independent watchdog tasked with overseeing the country’s police force, found in 2016 that Belgian police had information as early as mid-2014 that the brothers Salah and Brahim Abdeslam — alleged perpetrators of the Paris attacks — intended to carry out “an irreversible act.”
The report also highlighted sloppiness by individuals, limited resources and a lack of procedural guidance for officials dealing with highly sensitive information.
Yves Keppens — who chaired the committee from 2012 until his retirement in 2017 — accused De Bolle of attempting to hamper the investigations that followed the Paris and Brussels attacks.
“After the November 13 attacks in Paris it became increasingly difficult to collaborate with her and her services,” Keppens told POLITICO. “She said our inquiry constituted an obstacle to their daily work. She also wanted to see a draft of the report. She even used [Belgian Interior Minister Jan] Jambon to push us to release a copy to her.”
Keppens said De Bolle attempted to withhold documents that the committee requested, a violation of the watchdog’s mandate. She also advocated closing the oversight committee in the Belgian press. calling it outdated and voicing frustration about how the police had been treated in the aftermath of the attacks.
De Bolle did not deny that there were tensions between her and the watchdog, and bemoaned the fact that she only heard about the report’s conclusions in the press.
“In my opinion, it is logical that when a service or a policeman receives comments, a possibility is created to defend themselves and that also the defense is included in the report,” De Bolle said. “In this way, the readers of the report receive the full picture and they can take into consideration also the defense.”
Hitting the jackpot
The 48-year-old, media-shy Belgian does have a squad of national and international supporters who describe her as a tough, exceptional police officer who leads by example.
“Cops — it’s a white man job,” said Saad Amrani, the chief commissioner and policy adviser of the Belgian Federal Police. “She has had to develop tremendous strength to survive five years.”
“No one wanted a woman at the head of the organization,” added Amrami, who is of Moroccan descent. “The federal police is a boys club, and many conservatives were not happy to have a female boss.”
Her supporters note that for all the criticism leveled at the Belgian response to the terror attacks, De Bolle emerged personally unscathed.
“Here, you have the first woman to run Europol, and she seems to be ticking the boxes,” said Claude Moraes, a British MEP and chair of the Liberty, Justice and Home Affairs Committee in the European Parliament. “She has been running a very complex situation in her home country and is aware of current failings, strengths and limitations.”
Jambon, the Belgian interior minister, said in a speech in Tallinn last month that by choosing De Bolle, Europol “hit the jackpot,” adding the organization “managed to recruit a remarkable lady for this top-level position.”

Pakistani pleads guilty; failed to register as U.S. foreign agent (reuters, May 7, 2018)

“A Maryland man has pleaded guilty to charges that he failed to register as a foreign agent in connection with lobbying work he did for the Pakistani government in an effort to shape U.S. foreign policy, the Justice Department said on Monday.
The newly unsealed case against Nisar Ahmed Chaudhry, a Pakistani national and U.S. permanent resident, marks a rare instance in which the Justice Department has pursued a prosecution under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires people who lobby on behalf of foreign governments or political parties to register with the United States.
A critical 2016 report by the Justice Department’s inspector general found that the department lacked a comprehensive enforcement strategy to penalise people who failed to file FARA statements.
That report found that between 1966 and 2015, the department only brought seven prosecutions for FARA violations.
Violations of FARA have gained greater attention since 2016, when U.S. intelligence agencies concluded that Russia interfered in the presidential election. Russian has denied those findings.
The often unenforced FARA law was thrust into the spotlight by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who last October charged President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, with failing to register as a foreign agent for Ukraine’s pro-Russia government. Manafort has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Less than a month later, the Justice Department also pressured the Kremlin-backed television station RT America to register as a foreign agent.
The television station obliged, saying it would rather register with the U.S. government and disclose certain financial information than face possible criminal prosecution.
In Chaudhry’s case, filed April 19 and unsealed on Monday, the government said he worked to influence U.S. officials on foreign policies towards Pakistan from 2012 through 2018 without disclosing it.
The Justice Department said he represented that his activities were merely educational and not affiliated with Pakistan’s government when he met with think tank scholars and current and former U.S. government officials, including U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents who interviewed Chaudhry when he returned to the United States from travels to Pakistan.
The Justice Department said he cultivated relationships to gather insights on the government’s policies towards Pakistan, and then sought to “neutralise unfavourable views of Pakistan” during roundtable discussions and other interactions by trying to manipulate the discussion.
Federal public defenders representing Chaudhry could not be immediately reached for comment.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 30. He faces a maximum five years in prison, a $10,000 fine and three years of supervised release upon completion of the prison term.”
