Half a dozen specific terror plots were thwarted, said Alexander Bortnikov, the head of the FSB security service.
“The activities of 12 secret terrorist cells were halted,” he added.
The 15 were slain in several operations hen they resisted arrest.
This week Isis warned that Vladimir Putin “will pay the price for killing Muslims” in a chilling propaganda poster.
The FSB has identified terrorism as the biggest threat to the World Cup in June and July.
But he also revealed a massive increase in security on the bridge, now under construction, connecting the Russian mainland to the Crimea peninsula, annexed from Ukraine by Putin using military force in 2014.
“Law enforcement agencies have organised monitoring of the situation in the Kerch Strait and the skies above,” he said.
“Their forces and hardware stand ready for coordinated action in case there is a terrorist threat to the unfinished facilities.”

Last month, FSB agents smashed their way into 16 addresses in Krasnoyarsk, with nine alleged jihadists detained, three organisers and six cell members.

Also in March, four jihadists in a sleeper unit were detained in Kaluga region, allegedly preparing attacks in or near Moscow.
Separately, the FSB “eliminated” an Isis terrorist cell in a highway shootout some 235 miles from where England play in Volgograd in June.

FARSNEWS –Russian Air Force, Navy Prepared to Respond to Possible US Strikes
TEHRAN (FNA)- Russian military sources announced that the country’s air and naval forces are fully prepared to show immediate response to any possible US attack after Washington dispatched more warships to the Mediterranean sea near Syria.
The Arabic service of RT news channel quoted a Russian military diplomatic source as warning that any increased military build-up in the Mediterranean will intensify tensions, adding that Moscow is pursuing and assessing the developments.
He stressed that the Russian A-50 reconnaissance planes have been monitoring the guided-missile destroyer the USS Donald Cook’s voyage in the past few days, saying, “The Russian warships are able to give a rapid response if necessary.”
The source noted that the Russian navy also has deployed submarines in the Mediterranean equipped with torpedoes and missiles to destroy marine and ground targets.
Meantime, Russia’s Humeimim airbase in Syria’s Lattakia province is equipped with anti-ship cruise missiles of Kh-35 type.
The US newspaper, Wall Street Journal, reported earlier that the US already has one guided-missile destroyer, the USS Donald Cook, in the eastern Mediterranean, where it could take part in any strike on Syria, according to US defense officials. A second, the USS Porter could get there in a few days.
Russia has maintained that there has been no evidence of any chemical attack in Douma and sees Washington’s threats to “punish” Syria with military force as a pretext for intervention.
On March 13, Russia’s military chief of staff, General Valery Gerasimov, said that Moscow had intelligence about militants in Eastern Ghouta preparing a false-flag chemical attack in the area.
The senior official added that the US could use the fake attack as a pretext for striking out at government quarters in Damascus.

Stockholm police say they found the cache of weapons at a garage in Skärholmen, an area south of the Swedish capital, on Sunday evening. In a press release, the police claimed to have found the weapons inside a parked car and have arrested one man in connection with the raid.
“In the car were found among other things automatic weapons intended to be used in warfare. We also found explosives, hunting rifles, pistols, ammunition and several kilos of narcotics of various kinds,” said Jonas Lindberg, the officer in charge of the investigation.
“The investigation is just starting but at the moment, evidence points to a certain criminal network. In 2017, there were 129 shootings in Stockholm county alone and the level of shootings in other areas has increased rapidly with some blaming drugs and organised gangs for the rise.
In addition to shootings, the number of high-profile attacks involving hand grenades or other explosives has also become a major issue across the country. On Tuesday, police in Gothenburg disarmed a bomb in a residential area uncovered by construction workers.

Fox offices in London raided by European Commission investigators
European Commission investigators raided Twenty-First Century Fox’s London office on Tuesday, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Sources at the location told the newspaper that authorities were trying to be discreet and had been told to keep details of their mission confidential. The Telegraph reported that investigators will be on site through Wednesday and maybe Thursday.
Shares of Fox fell more than 1 percent in extended trading.
The raid comes amid Fox’s drawn out takeover of Sky, which has fallen under intense scrutiny by regulators at the U.K.’s Competition and Markets Authority.

London bloodbath continues as man stabbed on busy train during rush hour
A MAN has been stabbed on a busy London train during rush hour as the capital’s crime wave continues.
The victim was attacked around 9am today in East London on the Docklands Light Railway.
Stratford International Station, where the attack took place, is just a stone’s throw from Westfield shopping centre.

British warship to help police North Korean sanctions
TOKYO (Reuters) – A British warship “changed its deployment” and arrived in Japan on Wednesday to join efforts to police U.N. sanctions imposed on North Korea over its nuclear and missile programs.
The Royal Navy frigate HMS Sutherland arrived at Yokosuka, the headquarters of Japan’s Maritime Defence Force fleet and home port of the U.S. Seventh Fleet’s carrier strike group.
It “will be contributing to the international efforts to monitor prohibited trade at sea by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), which provides a major source of funding for its illegal nuclear program,” the Ministry of Defence said in a statement, referring to North Korea by its official name.
The Sutherland arrived as the two Koreas prepare for a summit this month and U.S. President Donald Trump readies to meet North Korea leader Kim Jong Un as early as May.
“It’s about pressure. She is part of an international message that is going to North Korea and for the United Kingdom to see fit to send one of its frigates, to change its deployment from Southeast Asia, is part of that very powerful message,” Paul Casson, the British defence attache in Japan, told reporters in Tokyo.

Let me see if I have this straight.
Facebook allowed Cambridge Analytica to help Russians and [garble mumble Trump something or other] wash my brain in 2016, which then caused me to…well, NOT vote for Trump (I didn’t vote for Trump; *WARNING: ACTUAL EMPIRICALLY VERIFIABLE EVENT*), but nevertheless somehow socially fall apart in relation to “democratic institutions,” whatever that means, and therefore we need to declare a CRISIS about (a) data privacy (because that’s really scary), and (b) freedom of political speech on social media – but mainly, really, freedom of political speech on social media, because (snap fingers! Snap fingers! Over here!) data privacy is something to get really, really super-indignant about, so rant about that, folks, and don’t worry about our totally obvious, genius solution which we promise you’ll love for eliminating freedom of political speech on social media.
Did I leave anything out?
It was encouraging to see some of our senators come to Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook hearing on Tuesday armed with important ideas about intellectual freedom and the state of current law. Ted Cruz was tops in my book (video below). Lindsey Graham and Ben Sasse got in some good comments, although they did leave me wondering exactly what their commitment is to keeping the Internet free of dangerously pervertible regulation.

In a hearing Tuesday, the Senate Commerce and Judiciary committees showed considerable interest in Cambridge Analytica, the firm that in 2015 lifted information from some 87 million Facebook users, without their knowledge. In his testimony, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that was “my mistake, and I’m sorry,” but Zuckerberg also revealed data sharing of a different sort. He is collaborating with Robert Mueller’s probe, which the previous day mounted a raid on the office, home, and hotel room of President Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen.
On Tuesday the Mueller probe first emerged in the statement of California Democrat Dianne Feinstein, who charged that “foreign actors” were using platforms such as Facebook to interfere in elections. The Russian Internet Research Agency (IRA) “ran a coordinated campaign through Facebook,” Feinstein said, with “ads and false information to harm Secretary Clinton’s campaign.” It was all a strategy for the Trump campaign, in which Russia identified which voters to target.
Zuckerberg did not address how this ad campaign might have swayed the election for Trump, but it did emerge that the Russians had purchased only $100,000 worth of ads on Facebook. Senator Tammy Baldwin said Russia had targeted her state with “divisive ads.” Zuckerberg said he would deploy new apps that would enable users to see all the ads any party had run.

That’s not just the message from the media. Plenty of analysts on the right have been putting out the message. The experts tell us that there’s no way something like this would have been authorized otherwise.

If you think that the key players wouldn’t authorize a major move against Trump without solid evidence, let’s recall that the Steele Dossier was used to justify a FISA warrant. And we were told endlessly about the rigorous process there too.
But we’re also told that Team Mueller doesn’t leak even though the media is full of leaks coming from his people.
Should some of the same people who treated the Steele Dossier as a serious piece of evidence get the benefit of the doubt when targeting Trump? Sure, last time they had stuff that read like it was written by a deranged third grader. But this time they’re bound to have the real stuff. Otherwise they wouldn’t go this far? Would they.
But as Obama told Comey when the former asked him, “What do we have?” “A banana republic if we can keep it.”

Americans bailed out Bank of America and Citigroup.
Citigroup got more bailout money than any other bank. It thanked America by announcing that it’s going to join a pressure campaign against gun manufacturers.
Bank of America, which also got its bailout, is going even further.
Firearms manufacturers were already facing financial problems. This is a calculated strategy to enact gun control through the financial sector.
Citigroup and Bank of America were happy enough to take the money of gun owners. Now they want to go to war against the 2nd Amendment. But there’s plenty of unfinished business from the financial crisis.
And, Congress should ban future bailouts to any financial institution that discriminates against any part of the Bill of Rights.
Just like Delta, monopolies should be made to pay a price for joining the left’s culture war against America.
