OT- Vexi la Regis has posted something related way down there somewhere. I have hauled an item up so to lose neither Regis, nor their offer, to this blog.
The mental health issue opens several cans of worms on a very slippery slope, it is unlikely it will pass but with luck they will tighten up reporting of people involuntarily committed and get the police and FBI to do their jobs.
Islam, Socialism and Sexual-Identity are highy volitile states of minds. Easily offended and triggered. Fixated on finding peace. Submission in return for mercy. Approval in return for self-deception. Outraged by dissent. Do not believe in free speech.
If these have a gun, the unsane who have a month to their name, who then has the right to play psychologist?

All that every gun owner has to do before purchasing a gun is sign a pledge allegence to the American Constitution. The checks and balances are there. To be the continuation of the freedom movement that is America.
If however, they have demonstrated to have broken that pledge, to be un-American, that licence is revoked.
Like the Hamish, the British, Canadians, Muslims, Feminists, Homosexuals, Welfare Dependents and every other virtue-signalling for their appeasement and approval group; they can live unarmed.
This is not a problem.
Those who deny personal responsibility, should never have a gun.
Those who hear voices in their heads, those who see oppression everywhere, and those who flick their scabs for fun.
