    • Political violence always comes from the left, this is a fact of history that is no longer taught. The violent leftists are pushing the entire group of nations that use to be called the West towards a massive collective civil war to instill a far left government that will round up and detain all of their political opponents in “reeducation” camps. This is why so many nations around the world are wishing that they had a Second Amendment like the US.

    ISIS has issued a direct threat to Donald Trump as the US President flies into a country currently battling a major jihadi invasion.

    Jihadis have been circulating propaganda featuring the a picture of the US President covered in bullet holes as they urge fighters to kill him.

    The threats come as Trump this evening flies into the Philippines in the final stop of his tour of Asia.

    Security forces in the Philippines have been battling the threat of jihadis for years, with the city of Marawi being to reduced to rubble by ISIS.

    Terrorists have been circulating the image on encrypted messaging app Telegram – urging fighters to “lie in wait” and “ambush” the US President.

    Trump’s Russian opposite number Vladimir Putin also features in the propaganda off to the side, his face also riddled with bullets.

  4. Remembrance Sunday: Queen watches Whitehall service from balcony for first time as Prince Charles lays her wreath

    The Prince of Wales has led the nation in honouring the country’s war dead on Remembrance Sunday, as the Queen observed the service from a balcony.

    The Queen asked Charles to lay her wreath at the Cenotaph, in the first time the monarch has broken with tradition and not performed the symbolic duty while in attendance at the Whitehall service.

    A two-minute silence took place at 11am and wreaths were laid at the foot of the Whitehall memorial by senior royals and political leaders including Prime Minister Theresa May and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

  6. NASA to test ‘space lasers’ with latest launch (VIDEO)

    An American aerospace firm is aiming to create 200 megabits per second (Mbps) connections in space using satellites equipped with lasers. The new satellites were launched on Sunday from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.

    If successful, this new tech could pave the way for networks of satellite-connected devices to send data, which will be useful for military, tech, and meteorological agencies, to and from space via laser connections.

  8. Disneyland shuts down 2 cooling towers after Legionnaires’ disease sickens park visitors

    Disneyland has shut down two bacteria-contaminated cooling towers after Orange County health officials discovered several cases of Legionnaires’ disease in people who had visited the Anaheim theme park, authorities said.

    Twelve cases of the bacteria-caused illness were discovered about three weeks ago among people who had spent time in Anaheim and included nine people who had visited Disneyland in September before developing the illness, according to the Orange County Health Care Agency. Their ages ranged from 52 to 94.

    The remaining three were Orange County residents who did not visit the park but lived or traveled in Anaheim.

    Ten were hospitalized and one person “with additional health issues” died, according to health officials. That person did not visit Disneyland.

  10. Saudi Arabia ‘scrambles fighter jets’ amid fears of WAR in Middle East

    SAUDI Arabia has scrambled its air force for strikes in Lebanon amid fears of a new war in the Middle East, according to reports.

    The kingdom has mobilised its F-15 fighter jet fleet ito launch a military operation against the Iranian-backed terrorist militia of Hezbollah in Lebanon, regional news website The Baghdad Post reports.

    Saudi Arabia previously accused both Lebanon and Iran of commiting an act of wars against it after rebels fired a missile at the King Khalid International Airport in the kingdom’s capital of Riyadh.

    Yesterday, Saudi Arabia ordered its citizens to leave Lebanon escalating fears of war to new heights – which the US have dubbed grounds for a “proxy war”.

    Hezbollah are the most powerful military and political force in Lebanon and receives major support from Iran.

    Reports now state the Royal Saudi Air Force has placed its warplanes on alert to launch strikes as the region sits on a knife edge.

    Russia has named CNN along with two other media outlets — Voice of America and Radio Liberty — as foreign agents in reaction to the U.S. recently requiring that state-run RT register as a foreign agent.

    Russian officials said Friday that they’re thinking of making private and government-run American media entities register as foreign agents, which is exactly what Russia warned it would do if American authorities moved to censure RT, The New York Times reports. Such a move could prevent CNN and other U.S. state-owned media entities from operating or distributing content in certain areas.

    Lord who grants salvation to kings and dominion to rulers, whose kingdom is a kingdom spanning all eternities; Who places a road in the sea and a path in the mighty waters – may you bless and protect the military of these United States of America; may they complete their mission quickly, and return home safely.

    We pray for those who sacrifice daily — men and women who serve to protect, in our local communities and around the globe; those who serve in our armed forces and our veterans who served.

    Compassionate God, creator of the Universe, on this Veteran’s Day and every day, may you bless those who served, who put themselves in harm’s way to protect these United States, and may you ensure that they be treated with the honor and respect that they deserve.

    Lord, please also protect the families of those who serve, and have served. Let us be mindful of their great sacrifice as well. As their loved ones fight for us, let us extend our hands and our hearts to them.

    May you give strength to the doctors treating the wounded, and provide comfort to those who have lost loved ones.

    For those who have lost their lives, may you grant comfort to their loved ones.

    May the President, the Vice President, and all the constituted officers of government of this land make the correct decisions to protect our heroes lives and bring them home in victory. May they ensure that those who have served get the quality medical help we promised them. May our elected officials execute their responsibilities with intelligence, honor, and compassion.

    • Richard, just so you know—over the last week or three that surrounds Veteran’s Day—I’ve increased my regular efforts to ask (and explicitly thank) elderly males about their service in America’s armed forces.

      Additionally, whenever they are accompanied by a woman, I make a specific point of thanking these stalwart gals—if applicable—for their, too-often thankless task of, being Military Wives (never an easy thing, even in the best of times).

      My only salvation (in the face of such unbelievable sacrifice by so many) is knowing that I dedicated most of my working life to fighting (unenlisted) in the Cold War as part of developing those American technologies which defeated Soviet Communism. As a Sidebar: That Red China was not simultaneously crushed along with the USSR will forever remain a principal regret in my heart of hearts.

      With the passing of this year’s Veteran’s Day, please accept my humble gratitude for all that you have done to secure our country’s freedom and security.

      With thanks to you and your loyal compatriots, we are better nation for it and a people even more capable of establishing the global peace that might propel humanity to other planets and stars. For that, you have my enduring respect.

    On immigration, on sustainable development and on many other subjects, the convergence between the United States and Central Europe is now as evident as the new divide between Western Europe and Central Europe.

    The European mindset is shifting. Twenty-three of the 28 governments of the European Union now have parliamentarian majorities on the center-right of the political spectrum. Everywhere in Europe, the “left” is on the run.

    This is particularly true in Central Europe. The soon-to-be Austrian Prime Minister Sebastian Kurz won the election on an anti-immigration platform and is on the verge of forming a government with the right-wing Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ) which owes its own success to the same topic.

    In the Czech Republic, political parties on the right now hold 157 of the 200 seats in the Parliament and tycoon Andrej Babis­ ­— “the Czech Trump” — is set to be the next prime minister.

    All in all, the “Visegrad Group” peoples — Czechs, Hungarians, Poles and Slovaks — plus the Austrians, have voted in the most conservative governments we have seen in Europe for almost 30 years, since the fall of Margaret Thatcher in the United Kingdom.

    If you search for crime, you can find it in any society. Sadly, in Sweden today, you do not have to search very hard. A casual look at newspapers on any random day will be filled with stories about armed robberies, sexual assaults, rapes, public gang shootings and perhaps explosives in restaurants. This crime wave is no longer merely confined to the major cities. Many smaller towns and some rural communities are now affected as well.

    In some Swedish municipalities, harassment and violent threats have become major issues even at public libraries. In the town of Trelleborg, in the autumn of 2017, a gang of 30-50 youths effectively occupied the local library. One mother, who asked that her name not be used, explained that she is now scared to visit the library with her children. The last time she went, visitors were harassed by a loud, aggressive youth gang. When a guard asked the gang-members to leave, they surrounded him. The local police say that they are aware of this problem, but that they do not have sufficient staff to patrol the library every day.

    In October 2017, an 81-year-old Swedish woman in the town of Mölndal was harassed and threatened by some youths while walking her dog. A few boys around the age of 12 walked in front of her and blew cigarette smoke in her face; one of them threatened to attack her dog and her. Then he spat her in her face. The woman now says that she is afraid to go out. The local police confirm that elderly people are harassed in similar ways. In a separate incident, some youths stole a loaf of bread from another woman in her 80s.

    If history is a stage on which the fate of nations is played out, knowing when to step in and when to bow out is of crucial importance. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time and, even worse, in the wrong context, could lead to loss and grief.

    These may have been some of the thoughts that Lebanon’s outgoing Prime Minister Saad Hariri may have had in mind when he decided to throw in the towel rather than pretend to exercise an office without being able to do so in any effective manner. Hariri realized that he was in office but not in power.

    Whatever the reason for Hariri’s departure, I think he was right to withdraw from a scenario aimed at turning Lebanon into a ghost of a state with a ghost of a president and ghost prime minister and parliament.

      But neither the Washington Post nor the NY Times or others mention the crucial points Trump spelled out in their write-ups of the gaggle. There is no word on the DNC email server in them, nor of Podesta. Instead they create a claim of “Putin says and Trump just believes him”.

    A Women’s March initiative released a toolkit targeted to high schoolers and college students to teach them to resist, the group announced Thursday.

    The toolkit comes through the Women’s March EMPOWER, an initiative from the Women’s March Youth. The kit is meant to serve as a guide for young activists who want to change their communities, the group said.

    “Today, our Women’s March Youth arm is excited to launch a toolkit for young activists to create high school and college chapters that guide students in making a positive impact in their communities,” the group said in a tweet.

    The organization has partnered up with other organizations like Rock the Vote, PeaceFirst, Rise to Run and Teen Vogue to get the program started.

  24. Belgium: Water cannons blasted at rioting Muslims as Morocco qualifies for 2018 World

    At least 22 police officers were injured when celebrations to mark Morocco’s qualification for the 2018 World Cup finals turned violent in Brussels on Saturday.

    Police officers attempted to disperse the crowd with a water cannon and Muslim rioters were caught attempting to overturn a van.

    Some 1,500 Muslims were celebrating Morocco’s win against Ivory Coast, winning them a ticket to the World Cup. According to police, an estimated 300 Muslims turned violent.

    • Evening of violence in Brussels this Saturday. After qualifying Morocco for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, hundreds of supporters gathered in the center of the city. But the situation quickly degenerated.

      Riot police were deployed, as was a water cannon to stop the incidents, including Place de la Bourse. About 300 people were present on site, shops were looted and cars burned, reports BFMTV, citing the police.

    TEHRAN, Iran — Iranian state TV says a 7.2-magnitude earthquake has jolted the region near the border between Iran and Iraq.

      This follows a widespread general strike on Friday in Italy, which was orchestrated by key trade unions.

      Another said: “We will never be slaves to the banks, to the government and to the EU.”

      They called for the government to reject the EU’s demand for Italy to cut back on its budget, and also urged politicians to abandon the free trade agreements with the US and Canada.

    BERLIN (AP) — A German newspaper has published a list of 33,293 people it says died while trying to immigrate to Europe between 1993 and May of this year.

    The list, published by daily Der Tagesspiegel Thursday, covered 46 pages and included names, ages and countries of origin, when available, as well as how the victims died and their date of death. Often, though, they never were identified.

    One entry said Iraqi migrant Talat Abdulhamid, 36, froze to death on Jan. 6 after walking for 48 hours through the mountains on the Turkish-Bulgarian border.

    Another, citing the United Nations refugee agency, was for a 15-year-old boy who drowned on Nov. 15, 2016 when a rubber dinghy he was on with 23 others sank while trying to get from Libya to Europe.

    The newspaper said it wanted to document, “the asylum-seekers, refugees and migrants who died since 1993 as a consequence of the restrictive policies of Europe on the continent’s outer borders or inside Europe.”

    Some of the immigrants who succeeded in reaching Europe later died in violent attacks or killed themselves in custody while waiting to be deported back to their home countries.

    A 17-year-old Somali boy died when neo-Nazis in the eastern German town of Schmoellnhe forced him to jump off a tower on Oct 21, 2016. A 30-year-old man from Uganda committed suicide in an immigrant detention center on the coast of southern England.

    “We want to honor them” Der Tagesspiegel wrote. “And at the same time we want to show that every line tells a story…and that the list keeps getting longer, day by day.”

    The vast majority of the people on the newspaper’s list drowned on the Mediterranean Sea while trying to make their way to Europe.

    The most recent listings were for two unidentified people, one of them a child, and dated May 29, 2017. The entry says: “Two bodies found, 28 missing, drowned or stamped down in a panic when their boat sank off Libya.”

    (CNS News) Every member of the U.S. Senate and all staff members are required to undergo sexual harassment training in the next 60 days and at least once every two years after that under the terms of a resolution that the Senate approved on Thursday evening.

    The resolution was sponsored by Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D.-Minn.), the ranking member of the Senate Rules Committee, and co-sponsored by 19 others. Among the co-sponsors were Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R.-Ky.), Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R.-Iowa), Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D.-Ill.) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R.-Texas).
