3. UK ratchets up its totalitarian information laws so that selective enforcement will let them gulag pretty much anytime, for any reason.

The British government says it will make streaming extremist content an offense punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

 

Currently it’s illegal to download or store material that encourages violent attacks. But Home Secretary Amber Rudd says the law should be toughened to include “people who repeatedly view terrorist content online.”

Britain has seen five deadly attacks this year, including vehicle and knife rampages and a bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.

 

Rudd told the governing Conservative Party conference in Manchester on Tuesday that seven other plots had been stopped. She said tougher laws are needed because there’s been “a shift toward crude attacks” with shorter timescales.

Following a rise in criminal acid attacks, Rudd said she would ban the sale of acids to people under 18.

4. Pentagon disconnects itself from all Southern Poverty Law Centre association or propaganda.

The Pentagon has officially severed all ties to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) after previously relying on the group’s training materials on extremism.

 

Brian J. Field, assistant U.S. attorney from the Civil Division, stated that the Department of Defense (DOD) Office of Diversity Management and Equal Opportunity removed any and all references to the SPLC in training materials used by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI), in an email obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation from the Department of Justice.

 

The DEOMI is a DOD school founded to fight segregation and inequality that teaches courses in racial, gender and religious equality, among other subject areas like equal opportunity and pluralism. The courses are available to DOD civilians and service members.

(The Pentagon actually doing something in keeping with reality, is a huge deal. Obama must be heating his new office-palace complex in DC with his own pure rage right now.)

But please go to the Breitbart link and read the COMMENTS if not the article. They are indicative of where Europe is at now. I have never read anything like them in a comment section. It is personal anecdotes of how much Islam has taken over the culture in many European cities.

6. UK: Police stops Muslim for routine check, finds kidnapped woman crying in trunk

Kidnapper: Shafak Abbas has been jailed

A kidnapper has been jailed after police stopped him for driving while disqualified and found a crying woman in the boot of his car.

Shafak Abbas was approached by specialist firearms officers as he sat in his gold Mercedes on a residential street in east London.

When questioned the driver admitted that he was not insured for his vehicle but police grew suspicious about his behaviour and decided to search the car.

Abbas then told them that a 26-year-old woman, who was known to him, was locked in the boot.

Officers opened the boot and found the distressed victim inside crying.

7. Chess Player Banned by Iran Over Hijab Switches to U.S.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — A young woman banned form the Iranian national chess team, allegedly for attending an international competition without wearing an Islamic headscarf, has joined the U.S. team, an Iranian news agency reported Monday.

The semi-official ISNA reported that Dorsa Derakhshani refused to wear the headscarf, known as the hijab, during a February competition in Gibraltar, and joined the U.S. national team.

 

Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran has required women to wear the hijab in public places.

8. Father who confessed to killing his son is charged in wife’s death

69-year-old man was charged Thursday with fatally stabbing his wife at their North Hills home before shooting their son to death, prosecutors said.

 

Shehada Issa faces two counts of willful, deliberate and premeditated murder with a special circumstance allegation of multiple murders, Deputy Dist. Atty. Emily Cole said.

Issa is accused of killing his wife, Rabihah Shibi Issa, 68, with a knife on or between March 27 and 29, according to the charging document.

 

The complaint also includes a special allegation that Issa intentionally fired a shotgun, which killed his son, Amir Issa, 38, as well as a hate crime allegation. Amir Issa was gay, authorities said.
