Canada: Protesters clash at Pegida nationalist rally in Ontario
Activists from the Patriots of Canada Against the Islamization of the West group (Pegida Canada) clashed with counter-protesters at the rally in front of the City Hall of London, Ontario, Saturday. Two men were reportedly arrested during the rally, which lasted about two hours.

Spain: Thousands of Palma locals march against unsustainable mass tourism
An estimated 3,000 people rallied against mass tourism at the Plaza de Espana, Saturday, which they claim is unsustainable and negatively impacting the city’s wealth equality.
SOT, protester (Spanish): “An island with a population of one million is visited by 16 million people over the year, so there is no possibility for sustainability.”
SOT, protester (Spanish): “Tourism is not ecologically sustainable and it is not generating wealth.”
SOT, protester (Spanish): “This is not about ‘tourism-phobia’. It is because the prices of our houses have risen so much that the local people can’t gain access to them.”
SOT, protester (Spanish): “When politicians say that tourism produces wealth and we see in all the statistics and economic reports that this is not true because more tourists mean more social inequality and less wealth distribution. So we are here to say that we do not want tourism as the sole economic model of the island.”
I agree with them.
I was in Mallorca several years ago, a guest at a private villa with gardens and beach carefully tended and guarded by long-time staff. The owner is actually a nobleman, the village nearby bears his name.
He owns a number of properties in the resort areas. They’re managed by staff who cater to package-visitors from Germany and cruise ship day-trippers. It’s a comparatively cheap holiday destination.
We went to several clubs for music and dancing. That was fun for a couple hours, but I can understand why the protestors might want to burn their meal-ticket.
No way would I want to live around that scene. Crass, crude drunks who act like they’re slumming and imagine themselves superior to southern Europeans. They’re low-class and they treat the staff worse than dogs.
My friend’s profit is negligible: he’d sell all but his private estate if he could find a suitable buyer. He hasn’t met anyone remotely acceptable. They’re corporate interests in service to Arabs and other trash.
Few protestors are islanders: in fact there aren’t many native young people at all. Low birthrates and out-migration, it’s a place for pensioners.
And tourists.
And communists and agents provocateurs.

Germany: Young Berliners ponder possible results ahead of Federal Elections
Young Berlin residents offered their thoughts on the general election, on Saturday, only one day before ballots are to be counted, which could result in a new Chancellor as well as new parties entering the German parliament.
SOT, local resident (English): “I just read this morning that it’s just as predictable as Hillary Clinton becoming the next US President so you never know. And I heard people, including myself, about trying to vote strategically to avoid Angela Merkel going together with the FDP because that would be kind of a neoliberal coalition that many, including myself, want to avoid having. So you might give your vote to the SDP instead of the Left party or the Green.”
SOT, local resident (English): “Yeah I mean it’s ridiculous, if you think about it, it’s a country, in my opinion it’s a country that started two world wars, and there’s no guilt but there’s always responsibility and now we’re going to have 90, I think it’s up to 90, well I say openly racist people, in the Bundestag. And that’s a shame for this country in my opinion.”
SOT, local resident (English): “Something I noticed myself is those really expensive billboards, not the paper ones but these really expensive billboards, to me the AfD is overrepresented in these overly expensive billboards and I don’t know why that is. So I thought myself that there might be some strong people behind that, financing these campaign ads. Yeah but I wouldn’t go as far as pinning it on Russia or anyone else. It’s just, like always with those parties that have a strong lobby behind them, some rich people, you know.”
SOT, local resident (English): “No I don’t think there’s going to be much changes, because many people like the way the politics are now because we are wealthy, our lives are good, so I don’t expect any big changes.”
SOT, local resident (English): “Many people vote for the AfD because they like to have the AfD in the opposition, and so many people think that, that they grow so much votes and that’s not good because I think they’re too conservative and too radical and that’s not our type of politics.”
SOT, local resident (German): “I think there is much to change; I am no fan of Mrs Merkel. No one that I know is a fan of Mrs Merkel and I hope that we bring about a huge change.”
Germany: Berliners at odds over preferred election outcome
SOT, local resident (English): “There will be no change. And I’m not excited about the election because it’s not really free. Because we don’t have real choices. You have the common parties, there’s rather nothing else.”
SOT, local resident (English): “Yeah, Germany definitely needs change, definitely. Because, I’m not sure whether people are happy but we have kind of a stalemate, you know, that nothing is really moving. Politicians, our Chancellor, she is pretty good on the one hand side, on the other hand she’s since 12 years now in office and so I think this is definitely time for a change to have fresh power, even if she is a powerful woman, but we need some fresh people. We need fresh ideas.”
SOT, local resident (English): “Until now I don’t see any sign of it, so we’ll see what happens tomorrow night. But I don’t think so. But you never know today, you know. If people say it’s Russia, it might be the United States who interfere, because you can’t really find out.”
SOT, local resident (English): “Boring isn’t the right term, maybe we are happy that not many things are going to change because I think a lot of things are pretty ok. Big change always comes as a big risk as well.”
SOT, local resident (English): “Not at all. Not at all. Not even in social media, nowhere, and I don’t think that social media has like a strong influence on where I do my little cross.”
SOT, local resident (English): “I think some little changes will be necessary, for example for lifetime value, for social things like Hartz IV as it’s called, the money for poor people not to live in poverty. So it has to be that some things have to be changed, but I think the best way to change it is with a great coalition with SPD and CDU, for example. Or the Green Party and the SPD.”
SOT, local resident (English): “I think so, yes. But I hope it was not possible to make any efforts to the election. But I think, and I’m very sure that they have tried it, yes.”

How Obama is funding the anti-Trump resistance
Wall Street might be shocked to learn it is helping bankroll the anti-Trump “resistance” movement that’s aggressively fighting policies it favors — including corporate tax cuts and the repeal of Obama-era banking and health-care regulations.
The Obama administration’s massive shakedown of Big Banks over the mortgage crisis included unprecedented back-door funding for dozens of Democratic activist groups who were not even victims of the crisis.
At least three liberal nonprofit organizations the Justice Department approved to receive funds from multibillion-dollar mortgage settlements were instrumental in killing the ObamaCare repeal bill and are now lobbying against GOP tax reform, as well as efforts to rein in illegal immigration.

Conservative Roman Catholic theologians accuse pope of spreading heresy
Several dozen tradition-minded Roman Catholic theologians, priests and academics have formally accused Pope Francis of spreading heresy with his 2016 opening to divorced and civilly remarried Catholics.
In a 25-page letter delivered to Francis last month and provided Saturday to The Associated Press, the 62 signatories issued a “filial correction” to the pope — a measure they said hadn’t been employed since the 14th century.

Why 62 Catholic Theologians Have Accused Pope Francis of ‘Spreading Heresy’ (sputniknews, Sep 24, 2017)
https://sputniknews.com/world/201709241057652916-pope-francis-heresy-accusations/
“Catholic clergy from around the world have recently issued what it called a “Filial Correction”, a 25-page letter to Pope Francis, accusing him of “spreading heresy” about marriage, the moral life, and the reception of the sacraments. Here is why.
The letter accuses Pope Francis of propagating seven heretical positions concerning marriage, moral living and the sacraments with his 2016 document “The Joy of Love” (Amoris Laetitia) and subsequent “acts, words and omissions.”
According to the summary of the “Filial Correction”, it was initially signed by 40 Catholic clergy and lay scholars and was delivered to the Pope at his Santa Marta residence on August 11, 2017.
“Since no answer was received from the Holy Father, it is being made public today, September 24, Feast of Our Lady of Ransom and of Our Lady of Walsingham. The letter, which is open to new signatories, now has the names of 62 clergy and lay scholars from 20 countries, who also represent others lacking the necessary freedom of speech,” the summary reads.
Released in April 2016, “The Joy of Love” immediately sparked controversy because it opened the door to letting civilly remarried Catholics receive Communion, reminds The Associated Press (AP). Church teaching holds that unless these Catholics obtain an annulment — a church decree that their first marriage was invalid — they cannot receive the sacraments, since they are seen as committing adultery.
The letter therefore “lists the passages of Amoris laetitia in which heretical positions are insinuated or encouraged, and then it lists words, deeds, and omissions of Pope Francis which make it clear beyond reasonable doubt that he wishes Catholics to interpret these passages in a way that is, in fact, heretical,” the summary says.
“In particular, the Pope has directly or indirectly countenanced the beliefs that obedience to God’s Law can be impossible or undesirable, and that the Church should sometimes accept adultery as compatible with being a practicing Catholic,” it elaborates.
“There is a role for theologians and philosophers to explain to people the church’s teaching, to correct misunderstandings,” Joseph Shaw, a spokesman for the initiative, signatory of the correction and senior research fellow in moral philosophy at Oxford University, told AP.
According to the agency, “none of the signatories of the letter is a cardinal, and the highest-ranking churchman listed is actually someone whose organization has no legal standing in the Catholic Church: Bishop Bernard Fellay, superior of the breakaway Society of St. Pius X. Several other signatories are well-known admirers of the old Latin Mass which Fellay’s followers celebrate.”
The signatories nevertheless say that the initiative is “significant and a sign of the concern among a certain contingent of academics and pastors over Francis’ positions,” which they said posed a danger to the faithful. The measure they said hadn’t been employed since the 14th century.”

Trump threatens ‘Little Rocket Man,’ says Kim may ‘not be around much longer’
President Trump sent another belligerent tweet directed at North Korea Saturday night, saying that if the country’s foreign minister was speaking for North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in his threatening speech at the United Nations, “they won’t be around much longer.”
“Just heard Foreign Minister of North Korea speak at U.N.,” Trump tweeted. “If he echoes thoughts of Little Rocket Man, they won’t be around much longer!”

North Korea says Donald Trump’s “Rocket Man” jibe means missile attacks on US mainland ‘inevitable’
Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho told the United Nations that Mr Trump had committed an irreversible mistake during his speech to the body in New York last week
North Korea says Donald Trump’s labelling of Kim Jong-Un as “Rocket Man” has made “our rockets’ visit to the entire U.S. mainland inevitable”.
Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho told the United Nations that Mr Trump had committed an irreversible mistake during his speech to the body in New York last week.
His comments came after it emerged the US had sent bombers to the North Korean border today in the closest they have been this century.
Foreign Minister Ri said if US lives were lost, Mr Trump ”will be held totally responsible”.

It’s funny when you understand what is truly happening.
Rocket Man can’t move without China’s approval and if he goes it alone, Trump will slap even more damaging sanctions on China.
If USA has to get involved somehow to stop Rocket Man, China will not be forgiven.
A masterful Trump setup.

Iran Tests Ballistic Missile Amid U.S. Tensions
Test comes days after U.S. President Donald Trump sharply criticized Iran in U.N. address
TEHRAN—Iran said it had tested a new medium-range ballistic missile, the day after unveiling it in defiance of U.S. criticism over its disputed nuclear program.
State television flashed images of the Khoramshahr missile’s disengaging warhead, calling it the country’s third such missile capable of traveling some 2,000 kilometers (1,240 miles). The announcement came after it and other missiles, tanks and a submarine were displayed in a military parade on Tehran’s outskirts marking the anniversary of the 1980s Iran-Iraq war.
President Hassan Rouhani on Friday vowed that his country would continue to bolster its ballistic-missile program, amid rising tensions with the U.S.

UC Berkeley’s ‘Free Speech Week’ officially canceled, appeared to be set-up from the start
Email suggests organizers didn’t intend for the event to happen
BERKELEY — A conservative UC Berkeley student group that had been working with right-wing provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos to host a “Free Speech Week” on campus officially called off the four-day program on Saturday.
But the former columnist for the “alt-right” Breitbart News doubled down on his promise to go through with the event, leaving university and law enforcement officials wading into an unpredictable, potentially violent showdown on Sunday.
During a hastily scheduled Facebook Live news conference Saturday morning, Yiannopoulos, who has made a career of trolling people online with racist and sexist attacks, insisted the event would move forward without the student group, the Berkeley Patriot.
“We are going to be hosting an event come hell or high water tomorrow,” he said, flanked by anti-Islam writer Pamela Geller and conspiracy theorist Mike Cernovich, two of only a handful of speakers who had publicly said they planned to attend.

Chinese robot dentist is first to fit implants in patient’s mouth without any human involvement
Successful procedure raises hopes technology could avoid problems caused by human error and help overcome shortage of qualified dentists
Although there were human medical staff present during the operation, they did not play an active role while it was being carried out.
The one-hour procedure took place in Xian, Shaanxi, on Saturday, according to Science and Technology Daily.
The implants were fitted to within a margin of error of 0.2-0.3mm, reaching the required standard for this kind of operation, experts said.
The technology was designed to overcome mainland China’s shortage of qualified dentists and frequent surgical errors.

yes it is somewhat funny, but robotics and robots may be a solution to the problem of low birth rates. With more developed robotics we will not need new migrants, and the problem of low fertility rates will become moot.
You are right, the increasing number of robots in manufacturing and the service industries is a sign of the future. We are entering into a new time of the craftsman when the machine made products will be common and the man made will be the rare and valuable items. The Japanese are taking the lead in developing robots and are developing ones that will be care givers for the elderly who want to remain in their homes until the end. Also a lot of the scientists (real ones not the politically correct whores that make the news) say we are about to enter a new age of science. Several new types of tech are about to come on line and will change society in ways that even the Science Fiction authors haven’t thought about.
WWIII will not stop the development of this tech but will instead hasten its coming.

Crazed reaction to Trump on NFL kneel-squad – because they know he’s going to win this one
By J.E. Dyer September 23, 2017
You can spend your life having your feelings jerked around by Trump – or not. It’s up to you.
The preternatural genius of “Trump,” the phenomenon, is that so much of what he does forces us to cut our own crap. In that way, he’s really good for America. The entire world should be so lucky.
I’m not saying he controls the phenomenon he induces, or that he manipulates us. Rather, the communication tactics that come naturally to him reveal the inconvenient truth about situations, and reveal us for who we are.
If you believe in a provident God, perhaps you will consider the possibility that He is letting Trump do this because we need it. We’ve been sinking into the quicksand of triangulating, virtue-signaling self-righteousness for too long. Instead of genuine character, we celebrate the mouthing of empty, usually scornful, often cynically amoral platitudes. Worse, we participate in Two-Minute Hates against our fellow men, and actually call it virtue.

St. Louis protests could cost city a chance at Amazon’s second headquarters, thousands of jobs
By LU Staff September 23, 2017
The right to protest is guaranteed by the Constitution, as long as the assembly remains peaceful, but habitual protesting over the same tired grievance comes with a coast.
Take the recent round of protests in St. Louis, which like so many that preceded it was predicated on the unproven belief that the police have it in for black people and that justice was not served in the trial of a white police officer who fatally shot a black man.
This scenario has played out countless times now, but this time it may affect a corporate decision that could end up costing the city jobs.
Earlier this month, Amazon announced that it was opening a second company headquarters somewhere in North America. The decision, the massive tech conglomerate, explained was to be based on cities’ abilities to prove their respective worths.

McCain, a ‘no’ on Graham-Cassidy, still longs for ‘bipartisan’ health bill
By J.E. Dyer September 23, 2017
John McCain signaled this week that he can’t support the Graham-Cassidy bill to roll back some portions of Obamacare. (It’s not a repeal, in any sense, and shouldn’t be called one.)
His reason is captured in this quote, recorded at CNSNews:
This reasoning sounds plausible – or it would, if this were 50 years ago. Indeed, no one thinks it’s a good idea for the people’s health insurance rules to get jacked around every time an administration changes. (Legislation as intrusive and burdensome as Obamacare is exactly the condition that makes it necessary to keep tweaking the rules, as a matter of fact.)
Richard: Further down in the article she is giving McCain an out, she is saying that he is old enough that he may not understand what is going on and needs to retire.
She gives him an easy pass.
She’s very generous.

NYT Documentary – Seeking Asylum in Germany, and Finding Hatred
From the video:
“The Nazis” found a picture of me from 2012 with a gun (aiming automatic rifle). This photo is from my neighbour´s wedding, we went out to celebrate – some of us fired guns, some of us had fireworks. People (Nazis?) are all saying Abode is a terrorist. It spread from person to person; from Nazi to Nazi.”
Hmmm…let´s see, he´s a illegal immigrant that came to Europe with bloody gunshot wounds in his leg. Tells a story about how he was shot for “no reason” and his mom pleaded with him to leave the country. Acts aggressive and calls everyone a nazi that doesn’t want him in Germany. He wants to stay in Germany, wants schooling and work, but somehow always finds a way to cause trouble in which numerous example are shown in this video.
He´s a trouble maker plain and simple.

US special ops forces & hardware spotted at ISIS positions north of Deir ez-Zor – Russian MoD (RT, Sep 24, 2017)
https://www.rt.com/news/404365-us-special-forces-isis/
“The Russian Ministry of Defense has released aerial images which they say show US Army special forces equipment north of the town of Deir er-Zor, where ISIS militants are deployed.
US Army special units provide free passage for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) through the battle formations of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) terrorists, the ministry said in a statement.
“Facing no resistance of the ISIS militants, the SDF units are advancing along the left shore of the Euphrates towards Deir ez-Zor,” the statement reads.
The newly released images “clearly show that US special ops are stationed at the outposts previously set up by ISIS militants.”
“Despite that the US strongholds being located in the ISIS areas, no screening patrol has been organized at them,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
This could mean that the US military staff “feel absolutely safe” in the area which is held by the terrorists, the ministry of defense stated.
Though, the ministry claims to have identified, among others, cars, armored vehicles and tents, it does not provide information on the exact whereabouts of the US troops on the images posted.
All of the images were taken from September 8 to 12. The photos show several Cougar infantry mobility vehicles and Hummer armored vehicles of the US Army special forces, according to the Russian MoD data.
Earlier in September, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov accused the SDF of collusion with ISIS terrorists.
“SDF militants work to the same objectives as IS terrorists. Russian drones and intelligence have not recorded any confrontations between IS and the ‘third force,’ the SDF,” Konashenkov said.
The city of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria was besieged by Islamic State in 2014. The Syrian Army, supported by the Russian Air Force, broke a three-year blockade on the city in early September.
The city’s liberation enabled convoys to start delivering food, medicine, and other essentials to the city, which previously had to rely on airdrops.
The liberation of Deir ez-Zor triggered a race between Syrian government forces and US-backed SDF militants. Both are holding separate operations in the area and are aiming to control the oil rich Deir ez-Zor province.”
Syria: US special op forces seen in IS-held territory north of Deir ez-Zor – Russian MoD *STILLS*
Russia’s Ministry of Defence on Sunday released aerial images they say show “a large number of American Hummer vehicles” advancing through IS locations along the left shore of the Euphrates river in Syria, September 8-12.
A statement accompanying the images and posted on the official MoD Facebook page reads, “The aerial photos made on September 8-12 over ISIS locations recorded a large number of American Hummer vehicles, which are in service with the America’s SOF.”
We left a lot of vehicles in Iraq and ISIS ended up with most of them so this isn’t evidence of US Spec Ops in that region.

Maps from Columbia Univ (Gulf funded) show barely any Shitte in prewar, baseline Syria and much of Iraq. Dubious, like all the statistics from the region.
By the time Hezbollah and the Shitte militias are finished, the Sunnis will be almost completely displaced. There’s no homecoming anticipated for them.
Economic boom for Iran, bargain picking. Rebuilding infrastructure, everything the reborn Empire desires. Turkey is looking to cash in too, though they’re going to have to cope with huge, genuine refugee Sunni populations.
Afghan subhuman inbreds are being imported for labor – they’ve been cannon-fodder up till now. Also Pakis – chased out of much of the Gulf as “unreliable”. This is massive population transfer on the WW2 scale.

First refugees taken from offshore detention under U.S. refugee swap deal (retuers, Sep 24, 2017)
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-australia-refugees/first-refugees-taken-from-offshore-detention-under-u-s-refugee-swap-deal-idUSKCN1BZ08D
“Refugees have left one of Australia’s offshore detention centers on Sunday for the United States, an asylum seeker and a refugee advocate said, as part of a swap brokered by former U.S. president Barack Obama last year.
Refugee Action Coalition’s Ian Rintoul told Reuters he had spoken with some of the group by phone and that 22 men were in Port Moresby on Sunday night. Rintoul said the group had been told they would be flown to the United States via the Philippines on Wednesday.
“They’re happy they’re going, and they never want to hear about Australia again,” he said, speaking from Sydney.
Kurdish-Iranian journalist Behrouz Boochani, who has been held at the Manus Island detention center in Papua New Guinea, said in a Facebook post that “about 25 men” had left the center around 8am local time.
Australia’s Department of Immigration and Border Control did not respond to requests for comment on the move on Sunday.
The move comes days after Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull gave the first official timetable for when the 1,250 people in the centers on Manus Island and Nauru would be resettled in the US.
Turnbull said Australia would begin resettling several dozen Central American refugees within weeks under the deal that U.S. President Donald Trump described as “dumb” but has nevertheless said Washington will honor.
“There will be about 25 from both Manus and Nauru (that) will be going to the United States and I just want to thank again President Trump for continuing with that arrangement,” Turnbull said in a video statement.
While Trump has said he would honor the swap agreement, concerns remain about how many asylum-seekers will be resettled from the Australian-run centers.”
Girls as Young as Four ‘Forced’ to Wear Hijab in British State Funded Schools (breitbart, Sep 24, 2017)
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/09/24/girls-young-four-forced-wear-hijab-british-state-funded-schools/
“Islamic schools including those funded by the British government and private institutions are forcing children — some of whom are very young — to wear the Islamic Hijab as part of their uniform code.
The garment, which is designed to shield women from the lust of men, is heavily associated with conservative interpretations of the Islamic faith. The revelations over children being forced to wear the shroud at school comes just weeks after a Transport for London road safety campaign featuring a child girl in a hijab was criticised and ultimately scrapped for “sexualising four-year-olds”.
The revelation comes from research by the National Secular Society, which has told the education minister that the hijab head covering is a compulsory item of school uniform for girls in 59 schools they are aware of across the United Kingdom, reports The Sunday Times.
Of those 59 schools, eight are state-funded — and three of those are primary schools, serving children as young as four.
Examples of school uniform policy reported by the newspaper lay bare just how prescriptive the rules can be, requiring girls to cover up much more than just their hair. One says “the face must be covered outside the school”, while another stipulates “It is very important that the uniform is loose fitting and modest and that the hijab is fitted closely to the head. The uniform is compulsory.”
Pushing back against the rules, the report by the society submitting the research to the government said: “No child should be obliged to wear the hijab or any other article of religious clothing while at school.”
The revelation follows similar research reported on in early September which found there were potentially thousands of state primary schools which allowed the wearing of the hijab, which campaigners said sexualised the children wearing them.
Education regulator Ofsted is reportedly investigating whether the move to introduce the garment to children all over Britain was driven by schools themselves, or if “there is evidence that schools are facing external pressure”, from parents or religious groups.”
Islamic State Propagandist Who Arrived as a ‘Child Refugee’ Jailed (breitbart, Sep 24, 2017)
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/09/24/afghan-migrant-jailed-terror-soldiers-details-online/
“Failed asylum seeker Hussein Yusef, who came to the UK as a child migrant, was jailed for six and half years on Friday after becoming a propagandist for Islamic State.
The Afghani, who arrived in the UK aged 14 years old as an asylum seeker and was in the care of foster parents in Oxford, is a supporter of the Islamic State and was jailed for terrorism-related offences after posting the personal details of more than 50 U.S. military personnel on Facebook, reports The Times.
Prosecutor Barnaby Jameson told Kingston Crown Court that the 21-year-old “embraced with open arms Islamic State’s uniquely twisted and fanatical view of the world [and] bought wholesale into Islamic State’s particular obsession with intolerance, sadism and murder”.
In 2015, after his asylum application had been rejected and all avenues for appeal were closed, the fast-food shop worker used Facebook to share names and email addresses of 56 U.S. military personnel. The information included addresses of homes in the U.S. as well as military bases in Hawaii, North Carolina, and Virginia…”

“Iraq asked on Saturday for assistance in building a nuclear power reactor for peaceful purposes, more than 25 years after the destruction of the reactors it had under Saddam Hussein.
“Iraq calls for assistance from our kindred nuclear countries to build a nuclear reactor for peaceful purposes … in accordance with the non-proliferation treaty,” Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafar told the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Iraq had three nuclear reactors in Tuwaitha, its main nuclear research site, south of Baghdad. One was destroyed by an Israeli air raid, in 1981, and the two others by US airplanes in the 1991 Gulf war which followed Iraq’s 1990 invasion of Kuwait.”
Mass grave of 28 Hindus killed by Rohingyas found: Myanmar army
YANGON: Myanmar’s army said today that a mass grave of 28 Hindus had been discovered in violence-wracked Rakhine state, blaming the killings on Muslim Rohingya militants.
The announcement could not be independently verified in an region that has been seized by communal violence since Rohingya militant raids on August 25 triggered a sweeping security crackdown.
“Security members found and dug up 28 dead bodies of Hindus who were cruelly violently and killed by ARSA extremist Bengali terrorists in Rakhine State,” a statement posted on the army chief’s website said.
The Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) is the group whose attacks on police posts triggered an army backlash so brutal that the UN believes it amounts to ethnic cleansing of the Muslim minority.[…]
[…]The army said that security officers found 20 dead women and eight men in the graves, including six boys under the age of ten.
Myanmar government spokesman Zaw Htay confirmed the discovery of the 28 bodies on Sunday.
A senior police officer in northern Rakhine told AFP they had been “buried with 10-15 bodies in each hole.”
The village where the army chief said the bodies were found, Ye Baw Kya, is near a cluster of Hindu and Muslim communities in northern Rakhine called Kha Maung Seik.
Hindus from the area have told AFP that militants swept into their villages on August 25, attacking people who stood in their way, killing many and taking others away into the forest.

reuters – Merkel on track for fourth term after German election – exit poll
Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservatives secured a fourth consecutive term in office on Sunday in an election that brought a far-right party into the German parliament for the first time in more than half a century, exit polls indicated.
After shock results last year, from Britain’s vote to leave the European Union to the election of U.S. President Donald Trump, many look to Merkel to rally a bruised liberal Western order and lead a post-Brexit Europe.
Merkel’s conservative bloc – her Christian Democrats (CDU) and their Bavarian allies, the Christian Social Union (CSU) – won 32.5 percent of the vote, making them by far the largest parliamentary group, according to an exit poll for the broadcaster ARD.
Their closest rivals, the centre-left Social Democrats (SPD), slumped to 20.0 percent – a new post-war low. The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) stunned the establishment by finishing third and entering parliament for the first time with 13.5 percent.
Merkel, Europe’s longest-serving leader, joins the late Helmut Kohl, her mentor who reunified Germany, and Konrad Adenauer, who led Germany’s rebirth after World War Two, as the only post-war chancellors to win four national elections.
She must now form a coalition government – an arduous process that could take months as all potential partners are unsure whether they really want to share power with her.

Antifa gather in Berlin to protest AfD’s electoral night event
Germany: ‘We will hunt Merkel down and return our country’ – AfD’s Gauland
We will hunt them down. We will hunt Mrs Merkel or whoever it is down and we will return our land to our people,” Alternative for Germany (AfD) Co-founder Alexander Gauland said to supporters gathered in a Berlin nightclub, Sunday.
Supporters of the AfD, the far right party that has pushed an anti-immigration agenda, were celebrating a historic result in the German federal election, with exit polls suggesting it will become the country’s third-strongest party.
“Germany: ‘We will hunt Merkel down and return our country’”
It is supremely difficult to imagine a more productive attitude that might lead Germany towards an eventual re-emergence in terms of regaining some sort of respectable place as whatever stronghold (with respect to) any European genetics.
As someone who has had lovers of Cherokee, Philippine, African, Portuguese, Danish, Anglo-Saxon, Italian, Texan, Japanese, and Dutch origins, Europe had best get its sh!t together.

U.S. air strikes kill 17 Islamic State militants in Libya: U.S. military
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Six U.S. air strikes on an Islamic State desert camp in Libya killed 17 militants and destroyed three vehicles, the U.S. military said on Sunday.
U.S Africa Command said in a statement that strikes on Friday targeted a camp 150 miles (240 km) southeast of Sirte, a city that was once its stronghold in Libya. The camp was used to move fighters in and out of Libya, plot attacks and store weapons, the statement said.
“ISIS and al-Qaeda have taken advantage of ungoverned spaces in Libya to establish sanctuaries for plotting, inspiring and directing terror attacks,” the statement said, using an acronym for Islamic State.
Islamic State took over Sirte in early 2015, turning it into its most important base outside the Middle East and attracting large numbers of foreign fighters to the city. The group imposed its hardline rule on residents and extended its control along about 155 miles (250 km) of Libya’s Mediterranean coastline.
But it struggled to keep a footing elsewhere in Libya and by last December was forced out of Sirte after a six-month campaign led by brigades from the western city of Misrata and backed by U.S. air strikes.
Islamic State militants have shifted to desert valleys and inland hills southeast of Tripoli as they seek to exploit Libya’s political divisions after their defeat in Sirte.

US strikes Islamic State camp in Libya, killing 17: official
WASHINGTON: US forces carried out six “precision air strikes” against an Islamic State camp in Libya, killing 17 people, the US Africa Command said Sunday.
The command said the air strikes were conducted on Friday, in coordination with Libya’s Government of National Accord, hitting a desert camp 150 miles (240 kilometers) southeast of the city of Sirte.
“The camp was used by ISIS to move fighters in and out of the country; stockpile weapons and equipment; and to plot and conduct attacks,” it said in a statement using an alternative acronym for the Islamic State group.
The air strikes were believed to be the first in Libya by US forces since US President Donald Trump took office in January.
The last known US air strikes were carried out in early January under then-president Barack Obama, targeting two IS camps where militants were suspected of actively planning operations in Europe.
The US statement said 17 IS militants were killed and three vehicles were destroyed in Friday’s strikes. It provided few other details.
“The United States will track and hunt these terrorists, degrade their capabilities and disrupt their planning and operations by all appropriate, lawful, and proportional means, including precision strikes against their forces, terror training camps and lines of communication, as well as partnering with Libyan forces to deny safe havens for terrorists in Libya,” the command said.

Pathetic.
Welcome back, yucki.
May this unrelenting gentile wish that you be inscribed for a most productive and joyous New Year. Your insouciant and irrepressible demeanor was most definitely missed here at Vlad Tepes (by me, at least). I’ll even risk including Richard just because I can.
And, yes. Less than a half-dozen air strikes with not even two-dozen toe-tags to show between them tells me that there’s a buncha attack planners that couldn’t couldn’t get their shit together even after a powdered alum enema.
Thank-you, Mr. Radish!
I’m still on my best behavior – nothing’s sealed yet.
I keep trying to explain to my Russki that it’s not like writing a list to Santa Claus: I want to win the lottery, find a used car that’s like new, grow more hair where it’s getting thin…

Authorities said one woman was killed and seven others were wounded after a 26-year-old African-American man wearing a ski mask opened fire at a Tennessee church Sunday.
The gunman, who officials said shot himself and was taken to a hospital, opened fire in Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, southeast of Nashville, just after 11 a.m. and fired “multiple rounds,” police said in a news conference. The Nashville Fire Department called the incident “a mass casualty situation.”
A church usher confronted the gunman at one point and was pistol-whipped, causing “significant injury around his head.” He told police he then went to his own car, grabbed a pistol and headed back into the church. The gunman then shot himself.

When Ezra Cohen from the National Security Council was fired a week later, Higgins’ memo and the back-to-back firings sparked instant intrigue on social media. “Meet The Press” host Chuck Todd invited McMaster to do an interview about Higgins’ firing in August, and both men called into question Higgins’ work and reputation.

Europe: The Great White Death?
by Drieu Godefridi
September 24, 2017 at 5:00 am
https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11044/europe-white-death
A riveting — thanks to its subject — paper was posted the September 4, 2017 on the website of “Institut des Libertés,” the think tank of the great French financier Charles Gave. In it, he asks: Does the native population — by which he means the white population — of Europe face extinction?
His answer is “yes”: “It is not good or bad. IT IS”, Gave writes. His basic argument is that with a “native” rate of fertility of 1.4, a “migrant” — by which he means Muslim — rate of 3.4 to 4 children per woman, and taking the initial Muslim population to be 10% of the total, it will take only 30 to 40 years for the Muslim population to become the majority. Indeed, writes Gave, with a “native” rate of 1.4 for a population of 100, after only two generations you merely see 42 “native” children born.
The Kurdish Referendum Imbroglio

https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11043/kurdish-referendum-imbroglio
What is the first thing you should do when you have dug yourself into a hole? The obvious answer is: stop digging. This is the advice that those involved in the imbroglio over the so-called independence referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan, due to be held on September 25. But still in the suspense of writing this column, would do well to heed.
The idea of holding a referendum on so contentious an issue at this time is bizarre, to say the least. There was no popular demand for it. Nor could those who proposed it show which one of Iraq’s problems such a move might solve at this moment. In other words, the move was unnecessary, in the sense that Talleyrand meant when he said that, in politics, doing what is not necessary is worse than making a mistake.
If by independence one means the paraphernalia of statehood, the three provinces that form Iraqi Kurdistan lack nothing: They have their president, prime minister, cabinet, parliament, army, police, and, even, virtual embassies in key foreign capitals. They are also well-furnished with symbols of statehood, including a flag and national anthem.
Having said all that, one could hardly deny the Kurds a desire for independence.

Police identify Tennessee church shooter who killed 1, injured 7 (RT, Sep 24, 2017)

“Police have identified the Antioch church shooter who killed one and injured seven people Sunday as 25-year-old Emanuel Kidega Samson, a Sudan-born longtime US resident.
Samson is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee and studied psychology at Mott Community College. However, according to his Facebook profile, he is from Khartoum, Sudan. Police said he is a legal resident in the US and moved here in the 1990s.
Samson’s Facebook suggests he is a Christian, as he has “liked” a number of Facebook pages relating to Jesus and the Bible. Police spokesman Don Aaron told reporters church members told police he used to attend services at the church.
“He actually had attended this church a year or two years ago,” Aaron said. “They said he hasn’t been there in quite a while.”…”
Hadi sees only a military solution to Yemen crisis (gulfnews, Sep 24, 2017)
http://gulfnews.com/news/gulf/yemen/hadi-sees-only-a-military-solution-to-yemen-crisis-1.2095111
“A solution in Yemen’s two and-a-half year-old civil war will likely come through military rather than political means, the country’s Saudi-backed president said, blaming the Iran-backed Al Houthis of obstructing chances of peace.
Speaking in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi also told the Saudi-owned Al Arabiya channel that a plan to hand over control of the country’s main port to a neutral party remained blocked by Al Houthis and their ally, former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
“The military solution is the more likely one for the Yemen crisis in light of the intransigence of Al Houthi and Saleh coup militias which continue to take orders from Iran,” Hadi said in the interview, according to a text provided by the Yemeni state-run Saba news agency.
“Despite that, the legitimate government continues to extend its hand for peace because it is responsible for the Yemeni people and for lifting the suffering from it,” he added.
More than 10,000 people have been killed in the war, which began in March 2015 when Al Houthis advanced on Hadi’s interim headquarters in the southern port city of Aden, forcing him to flee the country and seek Saudi military help…”

“Pakistan is lobbying in the United Nations to get India declared ‘State Sponsor of Terrorism’, Daily Express has learnt from highly credible sources. As a result of such a designation, a wide range of sanctions are imposed on the state.
Islamabad has also decided to raise at the global forum the issue of unabated ceasefire violations by Indian border guards, according to sources.
A resolution will be moved in the UN Security Council after approval from Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, they say, adding that all veto-wielding members of the Security Council, especially China and Russia, will be approached to garner their support. Beijing is said to be already on board.
Pakistan will also take the United States into confidence on the issue, according to sources.
An American delegation is due in Islamabad next month for high-level talks, according to an understanding reached in a meeting between Premier Abbasi and US Vice President Mike Pence.
Sources say Pakistani officials will impress upon their American counterparts to build up diplomatic pressure on India to desist from provocation along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary…”
15 years a long time for US to decide regarding Pakistan’s lies: Karzai (khaama, Sep 24, 2017)
http://www.khaama.com/15-years-a-long-time-for-us-to-decide-regarding-pakistans-lies-karzai-03512
“The former Afghan President Hamid Karzai reaffirmed his opposition to the new US strategy for Afghanistan and South Asia as he expressed doubts regarding the latest stance Washington has adopted against Pakistan.
Speaking to Foreign Policy in his office in Kabul, Karzai said the new US strategy has not been announced with an aim to end the ongoing conflict and violence but rather the US administration wants the conflict to continue.
In regards to the latest stance Washington has adopted against Islamabad, the former President said the issue of Pakistan was shared for years with the Americans.
“They not only ignored me, they named Pakistan as a major ally,” he added.
Karzai believes the new stance Washington has adopted against Islamabad is aimed at finding a justification to main the war and conflict in Afghanistan.
He described his pessimism regarding the stance while raising questions regarding the long time taken for the US administration to decide the regarding lies of Pakistan.
“It doesn’t take a country 15 years to decide whether someone [Pakistan] is lying to them or not; 15 years is a long time. They can’t come to us after 15 years and say Pakistan is exporting terrorism,” he said.
The remarks by Karzai came as the Afghan government is optimistic and welcomed the announcement of the new strategy, calling it a move the Afghans have long been waiting for and demanding to eliminate the menace of terror from the region.”
Afghanistan rejects Pakistan perception regarding India’s role (khaama, Sep 24, 2017)
http://www.khaama.com/afghanistan-rejects-pakistan-perception-regarding-indias-role-03518
“The Afghan envoy in Pakistan has rejected the perceptions by Islamabad regarding the destructive role of India using the Afghan soil.
The Afghan consul general in Peshawar Dr. Abdul Waheed Poyan said India is not responsible for the deteriorating relations between Kabul and Islamabad.
Speaking during a gathering in the city, Dr. Poyan said such perceptions by Islamabad that India is harboring terrorist groups to destabilize Pakistan, are not true.
Insisting that Kabul wants cordial relations with all its neighbors, Dr. Poyan said the Afghan government is also keen to have good relations with Pakistan.
He said Afghanistan respects Pakistan’s advice on foreign relations but not the directions.
This comes as Islamabad has long been expressing concerns and opposing the role of India in Afghanistan.
The Pakistani Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi once again expressed his country’s opposition regarding the presence of India in Afghanistan as he was speaking during to a think tank in New York last week.
On the other hand, tensions between Kabul and Islamabad remains persistent since a long time, mainly due to the presence of terrorist networks, specifically the Taliban and Haqqani network leadership councils and the circumstances surrounding the fight against terror.
The Afghan officials are saying that the leadership councils and sanctuaries of the two groups have remained intact despite Pakistan launched major offensives against the terror groups.”
