    • If she had won the entire world would be aflame right now, no one with any brains trusts her to know how to do anything.

    • If I Had Won, I Would Have Been Seen As A Genius

But this arrogant cow didn’t win, so that makes her the total opposite of a genius, no?

It is difficult to recall a politician who is more insufferable than Hillary.

        • Nice try, dear Yucki. You certainly deserve an honorable mention but it took DECADES (after his presidency) for America’s most famous peanut farmer to finally out his miserable self—via Saudi funding for the Carter Center—as the Antisemitic and pro-Arab traitor with respect to American.

Hillary’s criminal career has been an embarrassingly well-documented fact almost from the very beginning of her “professional” and political debut.

Upon further contemplation perhaps, for the sake of precision, I should have paired “insufferable” with “contemptible”.

From the 2008 article: To see Jimmy Carter’s true allegiances, just follow the money

In embracing Hamas last week in direct defiance of the wishes of Congress and the President, ex-President Jimmy Carter raised the question of why he was granting precious prestige and credibility to an organization the U.S. government has designated a “foreign terrorist organization” since 1995.

If he was hoping to rekindle a flagging peace process, Carter’s trip was doomed to failure; Hamas remains committed to the destruction of the state of Israel. So does this trip merely reflect a tremendous lack of judgment on Carter’s part?

Perhaps the answer is more complicated. You see, the Carter Center, the ex-President’s not-for-profit research and activist organization, has prospered over the years as a direct result of Arab largesse. Many of these “charitable” interests support Islamic fundamentalism and are vehemently anti-Israel.

The full extent of these connections is unknown because the amount and source of the Carter Center’s funding is not public. But from various news reports and press releases, one can begin to sketch a very troubling picture.

For example, Saudi Arabia, the source of 15 of the 19 plane hijackers on 9/11 and whose royal family has funded terrorism outside the kingdom, has channeled tens of millions of dollars into the Carter Center over the years. In 1993 alone, the late King Fahd gifted $7.6 million, while more recently, the king’s nephew, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, donated at least $5 million to the Carter Center. The Carter Center has a $36 million annual budget; these amounts are hardly insignificant to its ongoing operations.

Another million-dollar-plus backer is Sultan Qaboos sin Said, monarch of Oman. Considerable financial support comes from the United Arab Emirates as well.

There’s more. In 2001, Carter received the $500,000 Zayed International Prize for the Environment and, the following year, praised the efforts of the Abu Dhabi-based Zayed Center for Coordination and Follow Up.

NR: At least (during that time) NYC Mayor, Rudy Giuliani, had the commendable judgement—and sufficient degree of patriotic common-sense—to scuttle Saudi Arabia’s attempt at nakedly suborning bribing that distraught metropolis with a mere donation of ten million dollars.

That this paltry quittance by Riyadh was (somehow) ostensibly meant to, even meagerly, offset America’s eventual loss of $3.3 trillion—or about $7 million for every dollar spent by al Qaeda in supporting the 9-11 Atrocity—is a pluperfect example of almost-intentional Western misinterpretation about the utterly false charity that this one gesture represented (amongst so many others that were yet to come).

  1. Tiger Management’s Robertson says ‘we are creating a bubble’ in stocks

Hedge fund legend Julian Robertson Jr. sees stock market valuations as “very high” and worries about a bubble forming.

The Tiger Management founder made the comment Tuesday at the Delivering Alpha conference presented by CNBC and Institutional Investor.

Central banks including the Federal Reserve should get the blame for the high market valuations through their programs to keep rates low and make sure investors did not have other alternatives to get returns.

“The market as a whole is quite high on a historical basis,” he said. “I think that’s due to the fact that interest rates are slow low. But there’s no real competition for the money other than art and real estate.”

  2. Waiver issued so construction of border wall can begin

    Calexico, CA –

The Department of Homeland Security has issued a waiver to waive certain laws, regulations and other legal requirements to ensure the expeditious construction of barriers in the vicinity of the international border near Calexico, California. The waiver was published in the Federal Register today.

This waiver is pursuant to authority granted to the Secretary of Homeland Security by Congress and covers a variety of environmental, natural resource, and land management laws.

The Department has exercised the waiver authority in Section 102 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA), as amended, on five previous occasions from 2005 to 2008, as well as exercising this waiver authority earlier this year for a project in the San Diego area, which was announced in August.

This current waiver covers certain border infrastructure projects in the United States Border Patrol’s El Centro Sector, a critical sector for border security. In fiscal year 2016 alone, the United States Border Patrol apprehended more than 19,400 undocumented immigrants and seized approximately 2,899 pounds of marijuana and approximately 126 pounds of cocaine in the El Centro Sector.

  4. South Korea detects radioactive gas from North Korea bomb test

South Korea said on Wednesday traces of radioactive xenon gas were confirmed to be from a North Korean nuclear test earlier this month, but it was unable to conclude whether the test had been for a hydrogen bomb as Pyongyang claimed.

North Korea conducted its sixth nuclear test on Sept. 3, prompting the UN Security Council to step up sanctions with a ban on the reclusive regime’s textile exports and a cap on fuel imports.

The Nuclear Safety and Security Commission said its land-based xenon detector in the northeastern part of the country found traces of xenon-133 isotope on nine occasions, while its mobile equipment off the country’s east coast detected traces of the isotope four times.

  5. Researchers face backlash from LGBTQ groups over AI study

A viral study that revealed artificial intelligence could accurately guess whether a person is gay or straight based on their face is receiving harsh backlash from LGBTQ rights groups.

The study, which was conducted by researchers at the Stanford University, reported that the AI correctly distinguished gay men from straight men 81 percent of the time and 74 percent of the time for women.

Advocates called the research “junk science,” claiming that not only could the technology out people, but it could put their lives at risk – especially in brutal regimes that view homosexuality as a punishable offense.

  6. Face-reading AI will be able to detect your politics and IQ, professor says

Voters have a right to keep their political beliefs private. But according to some researchers, it won’t be long before a computer program can accurately guess whether people are liberal or conservative in an instant. All that will be needed are photos of their faces.

Michal Kosinski – the Stanford University professor who went viral last week for research suggesting that artificial intelligence (AI) can detect whether people are gay or straight based on photos – said sexual orientation was just one of many characteristics that algorithms would be able to predict through facial recognition.

Using photos, AI will be able to identify people’s political views, whether they have high IQs, whether they are predisposed to criminal behavior, whether they have specific personality traits and many other private, personal details that could carry huge social consequences, he said.

One month after white nationalists stormed the Rotunda at the University of Virginia, bearing tiki torches and chanting, “You will not replace us,” a smaller but equally vocal crowd of protesters took to the Rotunda on Tuesday night, covering a statue of Thomas Jefferson in a black shroud.

The group of about 100 UVa students, faculty and community members gathered despite the rain to deride the university’s response to the summer’s wave of white nationalist demonstrations.

They covered the UVa founder’s statue in black, mimicking the city’s decision to shroud the statues of Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson in the wake of the violent Aug. 12 rally that resulted in one death and dozens of injuries.

  8. Hungary rejects ‘dead end street’ of ceding powers to EU

BUDAPEST (Reuters) – Hungary will not relinquish any of its national sovereignty to the European Union and will keep fighting against the EU’s quota system for taking in asylum-seekers, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told Reuters.

As the EU plunges into an intense debate over deeper integration after Britain departs in 2019, Szijjarto said giving up more national powers was not the way to go.

His comments highlighted the resistance that proponents of a closer and deeper EU – notably French President Emmanuel Macron – are likely to face from one of the bloc’s most prickly and nationalist-minded members.

“I definitely do not share the approach … that (the) less sovereignty on the level of the member states, the stronger the EU will be. I think it is a dead end street,” Szijjarto said in an interview.

The right-wing government of Prime Minister Viktor Orban, which currently chairs the four-nation Visegrad group of Central European states, has been the most vocal opponent of EU migration policy and what it sees as attempts by Brussels to erode member states’ sovereignty.

  9. Like clockwork: How the ‘Russian trolls on Facebook’ theme links to a ‘Clinton Cash’ oligarch
    By J.E. Dyer September 13, 2017

Remember when Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 for a speech in Moscow in 2010, and in a totally unrelated move, Hillary Clinton’s State Department authorized the sale of Uranium One, with its control of 25% of U.S. uranium reserves, to a Russian consortium?

    Good times.

The host of the speech’s venue, and the source of the $500,000 check, was the Russian investment firm Renaissance Capital. The firm – a major holding company for Russian mining interests – was involved in the negotiations for the sale of Uranium One.

    Enter the oligarch

The majority stock owner in Renaissance Capital at the time was Mikhail Prokhorov, Russian billionaire, eligible bachelor, and owner of the (then) New Jersey Nets. Prokhorov acquired a controlling stake in Renaissance Capital in 2008 through his holding company ONEXIM. (In 2013, Prokhorov became full owner of Renaissance Capital.)

    • Iran: Khamenei decries persecution of Myanmar’s Rohingyas

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei condemned Myanmar’s recent military action against Rohingyas, speaking in Tehran, Tuesday.

SOT, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei, Iranian Supreme Leader (Farsi): “Maybe some fanaticisms affect this issue too, but it has been done by a government. This issue is political and at the head of that government there is a woman who won the Noble peace and recent disasters will certainly lead to the death of the prominent award. The noble peace prize was given to this merciless woman?”

SOT, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei, Iranian Supreme Leader (Farsi): “The solution is for Islamic governments to take practical measures, instead of igniting a real war. We need to increase political pressure and economic pressure, there are dozens Islamic countries and states maybe some of them have business and economic relations, through these means they should put pressure on that government [Myanmar], warn them and cry out against them in international communities, they should also do these activities.”

SOT, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei, Iranian Supreme Leader (Farsi): “We live in a world of oppression. The Islamic Republic of Iran is proud to announce its stance clearly against the oppression whether in occupied regions by Zionists, in Yemen and the bombardment of Yemeni people, Bahrain, other places or Myanmar. The Islamic Republic of Iran should announce its clear and courageous stances towards these events.”

  12. zero hedge –Bombshell Report Catches Pentagon Falsifying Paperwork For Weapons Transfers To Syrian Rebels

A new bombshell joint report issued by two international weapons monitoring groups Tuesday confirms that the Pentagon continues to ship record breaking amounts of weaponry into Syria and that the Department of Defense is scrubbing its own paper trail. On Tuesday the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) produced conclusive evidence that not only is the Pentagon currently involved in shipping up to $2.2 billion worth of weapons from a shady network of private dealers to allied partners in Syria – mostly old Soviet weaponry – but is actually manipulating paperwork such as end-user certificates, presumably in order to hide US involvement.

The OCCRP and BIRN published internal US defense procurement files after an extensive investigation which found that the Pentagon is running a massive weapons trafficking pipeline which originates in the Balkans and Caucuses, and ends in Syria and Iraq. The program is ostensibly part of the US train, equip, and assist campaign for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF, a coalition of YPG/J and Arab FSA groups operating primarily in Syria’s east). The arms transfers are massive and the program looks to continue for years. According to Foreign Policy’s (FP) coverage of the report:

The Department of Defense has budgeted $584 million specifically for this Syrian operation for the financial years 2017 and 2018, and has earmarked another $900 million of spending on Soviet-style munitions between now and 2022. The total, $2.2 billion, likely understates the flow of weapons to Syrian rebels in the coming years.
But perhaps more shocking is the following admission that Pentagon suppliers have links with known criminal networks, also from FP:

According to the report, many of the weapons suppliers — primarily in Eastern Europe but also in the former Soviet republics, including Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Ukraine — have both links to organized crime throughout Eastern Europe and spotty business records.

The sheer amount of material necessary for the Pentagon program — one ammunition factory announced it planned to hire 1,000 new employees in 2016 to help cope with the demand — has reportedly stretched suppliers to the limit, forcing the Defense Department to relax standards on the materials it’s willing to accept.

It is likely that the organized crime association is the reason why the Pentagon has sought to alter its records. In addition, the sheer volume of weaponry continuing to ship to the Syrian battlefield and other parts of the Middle East means inevitable proliferation among unsavory terror groups – a phenomenon which has already been exhaustively documented in connection with the now reportedly closed CIA program to topple the Syrian government. The associations and alliances among some of the Arab former FSA groups the DoD continues to support in the north and east remains fluid, which means means US-supplied weapons will continue to pass among groups with no accountability for where they end up.

One of the authors of the OCCRP/BIRN report, Ivan Angelovski, told Foreign Policy that, “The Pentagon is removing any evidence in their procurement records that weapons are actually going to the Syrian opposition.” The report is based on internal US government memos which reveal that weapons shipment destination locations have been scrubbed from original documents.

DAILY CALLER EXCLUSIVE: DWS IT Guy Was Banned From House After Trying To Hide Secret Server

A secret server is behind law enforcement’s decision to ban a former IT aide to Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz from the House network.

Now-indicted former congressional IT aide Imran Awan allegedly routed data from numerous House Democrats to a secret server. Police grew suspicious and requested a copy of the server early this year, but they were provided with an elaborate falsified image designed to hide the massive violations. The falsified image is what ultimately triggered their ban from the House network Feb. 2, according to a senior House official with direct knowledge of the investigation.

The secret server was connected to the House Democratic Caucus, an organization chaired by then-Rep. Xavier Becerra. Police informed Becerra that the server was the subject of an investigation and requested a copy of it. Authorities considered the false image they received to be interference in a criminal investigation, the senior official said.

Data was also backed up to Dropbox in huge quantities, the official said. Congressional offices are prohibited from using Dropbox, so an unofficial account was used, meaning Awan could have still had access to the data even though he was banned from the congressional network.

Awan had access to all emails and office computer files of 45 members of Congress who are listed below. Fear among members that Awan could release embarrassing information if they cooperated with prosecutors could explain why the Democrats have refused to acknowledge the cybersecurity breach publicly or criticize the suspects.

House Democrats employed Awan and four family members for years as IT aides. After learning of the House probe, Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, frantically transferred money to accounts in their native Pakistan.

Awan and Alvi were indicted in August on fraud charges related to the transfers, but they have not yet been charged with criminal cybersecurity violations partly because some of the 45 Democrats have been passive about helping build the case, the House official said.

Each House member’s data is supposed to be stored on his own server, but Imran moved files to a computer that was only supposed to hold the files of the administrative office of the Democratic Caucus, the senior official said.

In the spring of 2016, House administrators became aware that the Awans were allegedly falsifying purchase orders. They followed the trail and found that the misconduct extended to a major cybersecurity breach.

On Jan. 24, 2017, Becerra vacated his congressional seat to become California’s attorney general. “He wanted to wipe his server, and we brought to his attention it was under investigation. The light-off was we asked for an image of the server, and they deliberately turned over a fake server,” the senior official said.

“They were using the House Democratic Caucus as their central service warehouse … It was a breach. The data was completely out of [the members’] possession. Does it mean it was sold to the Russians? I don’t know,” the senior official said.

Capitol Police considered the image a sign that the Awans knew exactly what they were doing and were going to great lengths to try to cover it up, the senior official said. The House Sergeant-at-Arms banned them from the network as a result.

The senior official said the data was also funneled offsite via a Dropbox account, from which copies could easily be downloaded. Authorities could not immediately shut down the account when the Awans were banned from the network because it was not an official account.

“For members to say their data was not compromised is simply inaccurate. They had access to all the data including all emails. Imran Awan is the walking example of an insider threat, a criminal actor who had access to everything,” the senior official said.

The executive director of the Democratic Caucus was Sean McCluskie, who was Becerra’s chief of staff and is now chief deputy attorney general of California. McCluskie did not return TheDCNF’s repeated requests for comment.

Despite Democrats’ acute awareness of the importance of cybersecurity after the Democratic National Committee’s emails appeared on Wikileaks in July 2016, the employing members have gone to great lengths to avoid condemning Awan or have said nothing about whether they checked their office data’s security following the breach.

“After being notified by the House Administration Committee, this individual was removed from our payroll. We are confident that everything in our office is secure,” a spokesman for Michigan Democratic Rep. Sander Levin told TheDCNF in February. Levin’s chief of staff Nick Gwyn refused this week to square the assessment with the secret server and Dropbox arrangement.

A spokesman for Ohio Democratic Rep. Marcia Fudge said in August that she terminated Awan after learning of the criminal investigation but claimed “there’s no indication that he stole information or did anything inappropriate.” Fudge’s spokesman would not clarify the August statement this week.

Since Fudge and other members have not acknowledged that the breach occurred, there is no reason to think they took action to investigate where their data might have gone and mitigate any harm to constituents and others.

Wasserman Schultz has acknowledged that chiefs of staff were informed that the Awans were under investigation for what she characterized as “data transfer violations.” She refused to fire Awan even after he was banned from touching official computers, and she used a May 17, 2017, budget hearing with the House Chief Administrative Officer to attack authorities for not stopping her from breaking the Dropbox rule.

“I am more than happy to admit that I use Dropbox. I have used it for years and years and years. It is not blocked. I am fully able to use it,” she said. Administrators told her they had clearly communicated the rules to IT aides, but instead of faulting Awan for not following them, Wasserman Schultz lashed out at the House for “just lobbing e-mail into a tech person’s inbox.”

The senior official said the Awans’ enterprise-scale use of Dropbox was not the casual use of a popular consumer application, but the funneling of huge quantities of data offsite where it could not be taken back by House authorities.

Becerra was one of five members who first hired Awan in 2004, his first year on the Hill. Only two of the five — Rep. Gregory Meeks of New York and Becerra — remained in office through 2016, and each of them later put two of Awan’s relatives on their payrolls as well, including his wife Alvi and brother Abid.

When Becerra became chairman of the Democratic Caucus in 2013, that office began paying Alvi $25,000 to $30,000 a year in addition to the payments from Becerra’s personal office, meaning he was responsible for far more of the payments to the Awan family than any other member.

“SEVEN people have been attacked in the French city of Toulouse by a man allegedly shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’.

The man, believed to be in his early 40s, shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ before launching an attack on members of the public on Avenue Frederic-Estebe.

Officers were quickly alerted to the situation by passersby and it took three officers to bring the situation under control, according to French news site La Depeche.

One man told local media: “We were chatting and he jumped on us. He first caught my son and then beat my daughter. We ran.”

The man was not carrying any weapons but two victims were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

According to local reports, the man is well-known to authorities.

The police union SGP unit responded immediately and “gives its full support to the officials involved” while praising the “professional and cool” handling of a “delicate” situation.

The perpetrator is believed to have stayed in a psychiatric hospital before he was released in April this year and reportedly burst into tears when officials managed to detain him.

  15. EU plots BAN on visiting leaders unless they take BACK migrants refusing deportation (express, Sep 13, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/853649/migrant-crisis-eu-europea-migrants-visa-jean-claude-juncker

“THE EUROPEAN Union (EU) is proposing to ban foreign leaders visiting Europe unless they promise to take back migrants currently in the continent facing deportation.

Foreign leaders from countries including Bangladesh and Nigeria will be blocked from receiving visitor visas under the proposed plan.

The European Union’s plan would see foreign leaders who refuse to accept the return of illegal migrants Britain refused entry.

A leaked Brussels paper said linking migrant returns with visitor visas “should be further used towards countries that do not co-operate in the area of return and readmission”.

Other countries at risk of the new rule include the Gambia, Guinea, Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ivory Coast and Senegal, the Times reports.

It comes after official figures show an illegal migrant arriving in the EU from Africa or Asia has a 73 per cent change of remaining in the bloc – even if served with an order of deportation.

The paper, leaked by rights watchdog Statewatch, said a deal in which migrants are transferred to Turkey has not been successful.

It read: “Returns to Turkey have not picked up. Increasing the efficiency and speed of the appeal process for asylum cases and the capacity to return from the islands remain a priority.”…”

Three far-right nationalists who staged a mock beheading to protest against the building of a mosque in Bendigo in central Victoria have been found guilty of inciting serious contempt of Muslims.

Blair Cottrell, Christopher Shortis and Neil Erikson have each been fined $2,000 after they filmed the beheading of a mannequin with a toy sword outside the Bendigo council offices in 2015.

But the magistrate disagreed, arguing the video was clearly intended to create serious contempt for or ridicule of Muslims.

[…]But the prosecution said the video was clearly intended to create “serious contempt” towards Muslims, given the video’s target audience and the fact it coincided with a campaign to stop the building of a mosque.

“They’re picking up the acts of criminals … and purporting that to arouse hatred of Muslims in general,” prosecutor Fran Dalziel told court.

She added the law did not require the prosecution to establish whether people’s views changed as a result of the video, but rather to establish the intention.

“They were playing to the camera,” Ms Dalziel said.[…]

  17. CBC – Justin Trudeau defends $215K vacation

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau justifies the cost of his Christmas holiday to the Bahamas. The controversial vacation cost Canadian taxpayers over $215,000 — far more than initially disclosed to Parliament.

The new figures from the RCMP bring the cost to the Canadian government of Trudeau’s stay as a guest of the Aga Khan on Bell Island to $215,398. That amount, which covers the RCMP, DND, Global Affairs Canada and the Privy Council’s costs, is 70 per cent higher than the $127,187 tab first tabled in Parliament.

[…]The document also says “the Prime Minister did not attend the entirety of the trip” but offers no further explanation.

Cameron Ahmad, media relations manager for the Prime Minister’s Office, refused all comment on the trip or its costs.

[…]Trudeau has repeatedly come under Opposition attack for taking the trip to the exclusive private island nestled in the turquoise blue waters of the Exumas. Liberal MP and longtime friend Seamus O’Regan and his husband joined Trudeau’s family on the island along with Liberal Party president Anna Gainey and her husband Tom Pitfield, a longtime friend and a key member of Trudeau’s election campaign team.

Trudeau has defended the trip, arguing that the Aga Khan – leader of the world’s Ismaili Muslims – is a longtime family friend.

[…]Trudeau has reimbursed the government $4,895 for the Department of National Defence flight to Nassau for his family and nanny Marian Pueyo.

The Aga Khan Foundation has received millions of dollars from the Canadian government for its work around the world in developing countries. It is also registered to lobby several government departments, including the Prime Minister’s Office, for funding for its development projects.

  18. Piers Morgan — We all know what happened, Hillary: you’re a loser! Now get over it and give the rest of us a break

‘What happened?’ is the title of Hillary Clinton’s new 464-page book.

The answer, it transpires, is the most whiny, self-pitying, deluded load of literary claptrap written since Kim Kardashian’s ‘I was empowering women’ defense for posting naked bird-flipping selfies.

By the time I’d finished wading through Hillary’s absurdly self-indulgent tome, I felt like I’d been lowered into a large vat of violently indignant, furiously self-justifying, boiling mad spittle.

This is the tormented, tragic work of a spurned woman who never thought she could possibly lose to Donald Trump, a man she considered her inferior opponent in every possible way imaginable from intellect and political experience to credibility and popularity.

Such was Hillary’s self-confidence she would win, it emerged this week she even paid $1.6 million for the property next door to her home to house her Secret Service detail once she was elected.

    Yet she lost.

The reasons for this have been raked over so voraciously since last November that there is nothing new left to say.

But that hasn’t stopped Hillary saying it all over again, for page after page, chapter after chapter, moan after moan.

It’s not so much a book as an elongated case for the defense of abject failure, presented by a lawyer who’s just lost a slam-dunk court battle that no good lawyer should ever have lost.

Readers are left in absolutely no doubt who’s to blame, and it’s most definitely NOT Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Oh no, she’s absolutely the last name on the list of culprits for the most humiliating beat-down in US political history.

The list of people and entities that Hillary DOES blame is so long, it’s frankly laughable.

It was James Comey’s fault: ‘If not for the dramatic intervention of the FBI director in the final days,’ she wails, ‘we would have won the White House.’

It was Vladimir Putin’s fault for waging a ‘personal vendetta’ against her. ‘I never imagined that he would have the audacity to launch a massive covert attack against our own democracy,’ she rants, ‘right under our noses – and that he’d get away with it.’

It was ‘odious hypocrite’ Julian Assange’s fault for supposedly aiding and abetting Putin. She says of the Wikileaks founder: ‘I had to face not just one America-bashing misogynist, but three. I’d have to get by Putin and Assange as well.’

It was Barack Obama’s fault: ‘I do wonder sometimes about what would have happened if President Obama had made a televised address to the nation in the fall of 2016 warning that our democracy was under attack,’ she snarls. ‘Maybe more Americans would have woken up to the threat at the time.’ She also slams Obama for telling her to ‘lay off’ Bernie Sanders: ‘I felt like I was in a straightjacket.’

It was Sanders’ fault for ‘resorting to innuendo and impugning my character’. Hillary spat: ‘His attacks caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election and paving the way for Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ campaign.’

NR: Hillary blaming Bernie Sanders—whose nomination campaign was crippled by her collusion with the DNC—would be hysterically hilarious if it weren’t so incredibly and insanely offensive. Clearly, this depraved criminal knows no bounds when it comes to projecting her own personal failings and moral turpitude upon anyone stupid enough to have even momentarily come into contact with this obsessively self-serving vaginal cavity.

  23. The Death of Liberalism
Beating and censoring our way to a progressive new America.
    September 13, 2017
    Daniel Greenfield

Liberalism is a dirty word in today’s left. You hear it most often as an insult, neoliberalism, hurled by the hard left against anyone accused of insufficient hostility to free enterprise and other open systems. If you trust the free market and individual judgement over state regulation, you might just be a neoliberal.

And neoliberals are the biggest enemies of the left.

Liberal has become a slur on the illiberal left which is intolerant of open and tolerant systems. The defining symbol of the illiberal left is the campus safe space where no free speech is allowed. Safe spaces take the college, once the symbol of a liberal commitment to the free exchange of ideas, and invert it into a space that is safe from the free exchange of ideas under a warm and fuzzy name.

The safe space isn’t a campus eccentricity. As the riots from Berkeley to Boston show, using violence to silence free speech isn’t just something overzealous college kids do. It’s what the left does now. And sympathetic lefty mayors of cities put on the same show of helplessness as university administrators.

When the New York Times runs multiple editorials attacking the very idea of speech, one such op-ed claimed that some forms of speech were stressful and therefore a form of violence, it’s not college kids.

    It’s the illiberal left.

    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/09/13/malmo-emergency-room-workers-gang-violence-lives-risk/

“Emergency room workers at hospitals in the Swedish city of Malmö have said that escalating gang violence has caused their work environment to become so dangerous that they feel their lives are at risk.

A security officer who works in an emergency room in the heavily migrant populated southern Swedish city said the work environment had become increasingly dangerous for him and others.

“We have been attacked by knives and we have seen people with guns. We put our lives at risk,” he told Swedish broadcaster SVT.

Last week, local government officials and hospital executives met to discuss the issue of rising violence but decided that it really was not a big enough problem to take action on.

“It was probably one of the most laughable things we’ve seen in a long time,” said a security guard who has been working at a Malmö hospital emergency room for several years.

“It’s one of the worst places in Malmö together with the central station and the people’s park,” he said and added that security guards were forced to intervene in dangerous situations involving knives or guns at least two to three times per week.

Several guards also mentioned that victims of shootings would often be dumped outside the hospital doors because those dropping them off did not want to be caught on CCTV cameras. “The care staff should not go out and pick them up. You still want to be human so you run out and help,” one guard said…”

The fascist Casapound movement was attending a municipal council meeting Wednesday over neighborhood tensions caused by the presence of about 80 African migrants at a shelter. Casapound wants to close the center.

  32. NH Mosque Preaches Jihad, Police Chief Cries “Islamophobia”
Will ignoring and denying a problem make it go away?

    Robert Spencer

A controversy has erupted over a mosque in New Hampshire that an investigator contends is preaching jihad. Instead of investigating, however, the local police chief has doubled down, claiming that the charges are just “Islamophobia.” Is he really willing to bet the safety of the local citizens on that?

The New Hampshire Union Leader broke the story several weeks ago, not by reporting on the investigation of the mosque, or even what was being claimed about it, but on the reaction from the mosque leaders and local law enforcement officials, both of whom agreed that the mosque had been unfairly accused. Since the Union Leader, however, did not detail the charges, there was no way to tell whether or not this was true. Then last Wednesday, investigative journalist James Simpson published the evidence at Bombthrowers, and made it clear: this mosque warrants investigation, and the police chief, Nick Willard, is derelict in his duty.

Simpson reports that investigator Dave Gaubatz found a great deal of material promoting jihad in the mosque, including a brochure entitled Jihad in Islam. Simpson writes: “This 33-page document makes clear that the goals of Islam are to subjugate the world. Under the heading What Jihad Really Is? (sic) it states:

  33. UN Passes One More Sanctions Resolution Against North Korea
Watered-down resolution kicks can down the road.
    September 13, 2017
    Joseph Klein
    5

The United Nations Security Council unanimously passed Resolution 2375 (2017) on Monday, which is intended to place further economic pressure on the North Korean regime in response to its recent testing of its most powerful nuclear bomb to date. However, in order to achieve consensus on the Security Council and avoid a veto by China and/or Russia, the Trump administration agreed to a drastically watered down version compared to its original draft.

U.S. Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, who last week criticized the kind of incrementalism that Resolution 2375 embodies, praised the unanimous adoption of the compromise resolution by the Security Council. “Today, we are saying the world will never accept a nuclear-armed North Korea. And today, the Security Council is saying that if the North Korean regime does not halt its nuclear program, we will act to stop it ourselves,” she declared. “We are done trying to prod the regime to do the right thing. We are now acting to stop it from having the ability to continue doing the wrong thing. We are doing that by hitting North Korea’s ability to fuel and fund its weapons program.”

Ambassador Haley could not bring herself to admit that the new resolution does not accomplish anywhere near what the Trump administration had originally sought to push through the Security Council.

  34. HOW ISRAEL DEALT WITH THE SYRIAN NUCLEAR THREAT
A defensive strike against an enemy rogue state.

    Joseph Puder
    22

The current debate in Washington regarding North Korea’s nuclear weapons, and in particular, the North Korean testing of its hydrogen bomb, has created serious anxieties, and much pondering among the U.S. decision makers. One option might be the Israeli model of obliterating the enemy’s nuclear facility before it is operational. This is precisely what Israel did on September 6, 2007. A decade later it is safe to say that the Middle East would have been in a catastrophic situation had Israel not destroyed the Syrian nuclear reactor.

According to foreign press reports, the Israeli Air-Force attacked the Syrian nuclear facility during the night between September 5th & 6th, 2007. The nuclear reactor secretly built in northeastern Syria by the North Korean regime was attacked by “mysterious” aircrafts that destroyed an isolated structure in the desert. No country assumed responsibility for the attack, and the Israeli media was mum about it. Foreign press and the then George W. Bush administration officials reported that it was Israeli fighter planes that attacked the nuclear facility.

According to later research pieces by the New Yorker magazine, intelligence about the Syrian nuclear reactor reached the late Meir Dagan, who was then the chief of the Mossad. The New Yorker story by David Makovsky (September 17, 2012) suggested that, “In the first days of March, 2007, agents from the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, made a daring raid on the Vienna home of Ibrahim Othman, the head of the Syrian Atomic Energy Commission. Othman was in town attending a meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) board of governors, and had stepped out. In less than an hour, the Mossad operatives swept in, extracted top-secret information from Othman’s computer, and left without a trace.”

    Mark Tapson

A Texas-based website called StudyBreaks.com, which features writing from “exceptional students” across the country, has posted an essay by Eric McInnis of Arcadia University which poses the burning question, “Could the Leftist Group Antifa Create More Harm Than Good?”

To reasonable people who pay attention to the news, it would seem patently obvious that the violent anarchists of Antifa have already created a lot of harm and zero good, but that’s not how McInnis, and no doubt many other leftists, see it.

“The rise of nationalism and fascism in America has easily been one of the scariest movements within 2017,” begins McInnis, who describes himself as “a proud liberal who leans into certain socialist ideals and policies.”

He is concerned that since Donald Trump’s “infamous election, far-right extremists have moved away from the dark caves where they belong and flaunt their blatant racism, antisemitism and Islamophobia for the world to see. It’s obvious at this point that America needs a hero, and one group named Antifa seems to have answered the call.”

Dear liberals: Conservatives are not your enemy. The Left is.

    Dennis Prager

Answering this question is vital to understanding the crisis facing America and the West today. Yet few seem able to do it. I offer the following as a guide.

Here’s the first thing to know: The two have almost nothing in common.

On the contrary, liberalism has far more in common with conservatism than it does with leftism. The left has appropriated the word “liberal” so effectively that almost everyone — liberals, leftists and conservatives — thinks they are synonymous.

But they aren’t. Let’s look at some important examples.

Race: This is perhaps the most obvious of the many moral differences between liberalism and leftism. The essence of the liberal position on race was that the color of one’s skin is insignificant. To liberals of a generation ago, only racists believed that race is intrinsically significant. However, to the left, the notion that race is insignificant is itself racist. Thus, the University of California officially regards the statement “There is only one race, the human race” as racist. For that reason, liberals were passionately committed to racial integration. Liberals should be sickened by the existence of bla

  37. Turkey signs deal to buy Russian S-400 air defense systems
Facing NATO opposition to purchase, Erdogan says defense decisions are a matter of national sovereignty

ISTANBUL (AFP) — Turkey has signed a deal with Russia to buy S-400 missile defense systems in its first major weapons purchase from Moscow, Turkish newspapers Tuesday quoted President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying.
The accord for the surface-to-air missile defense batteries is also Ankara’s most significant deal with a non-NATO supplier.

“Signatures have been made for the purchase of S-400s from Russia. A deposit has also been paid as far as I know,” Erdogan said in comments published in the Hurriyet daily and other newspapers.

“(Russian President Vladimir Putin) and myself are determined on this issue,” he told journalists.
The purchase of the missile systems from a non-NATO supplier will raise concerns in the West over their technical compatibility with the alliance’s equipment.

The Pentagon has already sounded the alarm, saying bluntly that “generally it’s a good idea” for NATO allies to buy inter-operable equipment.

Erdogan said Turkey was free to make military acquisitions based on its defense needs.

“Nobody has the right to discuss the Turkish republic’s independence principles or independent decisions about its defense industry,” he said in the comments published Tuesday.

“We make the decisions about our own independence ourselves, we are obliged to take safety and security measures in order to defend our country.”

The Turkish leader said the process would continue with a transfer of Russian credit to Turkey.
    ‘Strategic interests’

Moscow also confirmed the accord, with Vladimir Kozhin, Putin’s adviser for military and technical cooperation, saying: “The contract has been signed and is being prepared for implementation.”

He said that the S-400 was one of the most complex systems, made up of a whole range of technical materials.

“I can only guarantee that all decisions taken on this contract strictly comply with our strategic interests,” he was quoted as saying by Russian state-owned TASS news agency.

“For this reason we fully understand the reactions of several Western countries which are trying to put pressure on Turkey.”

Russia’s relations with NATO have been in crisis over its annexation of Crimea from Ukraine and for backing pro-Moscow separatists in eastern Ukraine.

Turkey, a NATO member since 1952, has currently troubled ties with the United States over a number of issues including Washington’s support of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) militia, which Ankara considers a terror group.
The Turkish-Russian contract is a sign of better relations between Ankara and Moscow since a reconciliation deal was signed last year following the 2015 shooting down by the Turkish military of a Russian plane over the Syrian border.

Moscow has accepted Ankara’s expressions of regret over the incident and the two countries have revived the relationship since then.

Ankara was also gladdened by Moscow’s response to the July 15, 2016, failed coup in Turkey.

Putin was one of the first foreign leaders to phone Erdogan offering support and sharing none of the scruples of EU leaders about the ensuing crackdown.

South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT) convened with Mad Maxine Waters and other House Democrats in Washington, D.C., to mark a somber occasion this week. No, not the coordinated jihadi mass murder of nearly 3,000 innocent people of all races, nationalities and religions on 9/11. Instead, they lamented Sept. 12 — “the 16-year anniversary of the day that South Asian, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Arab, and Middle Eastern Americans woke up to a new political reality in which the safety of our lives and the security of our homes were irrevocably compromised.”

For left-wing zealots, the bloody lash of worldwide Islamic terrorism pales in comparison to the so-called “backlash” against Muslims. SAALT disseminated prefab tweets and declarations naming President Trump, outspoken anti-sharia activist Brigitte Gabriel and her grass-roots group, ACT for America, as well as “law enforcement, immigration enforcement, vigilantes,” and “white supremacists” as their enemies.

They’re all the same to the tolerance mob.

And “backlash” is a catchall trash can for everything from sideward glances to off-color jokes to offensive cartoons to unresolved crimes to actual acts of intimidation or physical violence. Mixed in with two shootings and a stabbing over the past year classified as hate crimes, SAALT noted that in August, “a Minnesota mosque was firebombed in what the governor rightly declared an ‘act of terrorism.’”

  39. More cultural enrichment in Berlin:

Incredible scenes took place on Sunday during a police operation in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The B.Z. reported a local resident called the police at 12:30pm and reported a loud and aggressive man. The officials in section 53 hurried to Naunyn Street.
When they arrived, the Black African was trying to dig a hole on a tree with his bare hands. “He was aggressive, had strong mood fluctuations,” said a police officer to the B.Z .. The policemen seized the man and put him on the house wall. Meanwhile, they searched his things for dangerous items and drugs.

At this moment the 31-year-old tore himself loose, grabbed a wooden stick, and attacked the officers. He cleared a path and was able to flee, but was captured a little later.

The Ghanaian fiercely injured that he seriously injured a police officer.

The video shows how the man finally storms into the empty patrol car and barricades himself in it. The officials shouted, “Get on the ground, get out, get out, get out! After a brief hesitation, the 31-year-old gives into the police demands.

“The suspect was arrested and came to a hospital for blood collection,” said the police officer. The situation could be mitigated.
