Is Duterte the only political leader in the world not fooled?

A mosque is a beachhead. Not a temple. It deserves no special rights. Even the Philippine news has admitted that jihadis have been hiding in and on mosques and killing people from that vantage point. A search using Google before Matt Cutts made it an instrument of the Islamic leftist alliance showed countless results for “Weapons found inside mosques” but you can still get a lot of results from real search engines.

  1. You just owned 2 hours of my life, Eeyore. Captivated by Kel’s blog-talk radio broadcast.

The guest gave the perfect opening. Challenged the wisdom of according Islam the status of a religion. Just set the issue out so simply and well, followed by your comments on how we came to regard Shintoism during WW-2. Then fight it.

We need a national defense public information campaign, a “Why We Fight” and “Who’s the Enemy” no less than military hardware and soldiers fit for battle. More so, actually. Of course that’s impossible till we extirpate the Muslim Brotherhood from our midst.

The speaker mentioned he’s a trucker. Imagine the resonance if the universe of English-speaking drivers were working and listening at the same time. Maybe crossing the invader-infested Channel.

Duterte can tell the truth to his people: they’re fortunate. It’s strange hearing it via al-Jazeera, the MB mouthpiece.

  2. Whatever one can say about Duterte, one can’t accuse him of being soft on crime or on terrorists.

    • LOL! The Masjed Mindanao Islamic Center still stands – the Catholic Church has been destroyed

      Duterte lies

He has killed more Catholics than Muslims

          • lol! I’m not a troll! Duterte Just announced: “We cannot destroy the mosque…. It will breed an unending hatred,” Duterte said in his speech on Friday, as Muslims celebrated Eid al-Adha.

            • More or less. What he also said was, that once infantry had cleared the central mosque of Marawi the military had a green light to bomb the rest of them.

He did not want to bomb the central mosque as that would likely create kinetic hatred in the rest of the so far, uninvolved Islamic population in the archipelago.

      • He has killed more Catholics than Muslims

Please substantiate your claim with a link or citation.

I will concede how disappointing it was to hear that Duterte did not simply level the grand mosque and bato mosque pour encourager les autres.

Marawi City Update: ISIS-Linked Maute Group Destroys Churches as Violence Continues

A video released by the Islamic State militant group’s (ISIS) Amaq news agency shows the destruction of a church in Marawi, in the Philippines, where militants have battled against the country’s army for almost two weeks.

The siege of Marawi began on May 23, when the Maute Group, who have pledged allegiance to ISIS, stormed the city, released prisoners from the jail, and took hostages. The video is the second one about Marawi that Amaq has released since the siege started, according to the Long War Journal. The latest showed militants defacing the interior of a church being defaced, tearing down pictures and destroying religious symbols.

Hundreds of residents are still trapped in the city, on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. It is one of the country’s only Muslim-majority cities in a predominantly Christian country, and most of the city’s 200,000 residents have fled.

          • That may be viewed as a little dishonest. People who have a Catholic ancestry but were killed as part of an organized crime and drug war with the government were not killed because they are Catholic. It would be like saying the man who shot a Jewish person while escaping from an armed bank robbery was antisemitic.

Its classic leftist tactics to switch to a false level of abstraction to sell a point.

Islam in the Philippines, like everywhere else, has a core doctrine of manifest destiny. Anyone who does not wish to be under Islamic rule will have to fight them on one level or another.

So when you are fighting against Muslims who have taken over your city, it is because they are muslims and acting on islamic doctrine.

Catholics dealing drugs where not killed because they were Catholic but despite that they were Catholic.

If you did not know this, you do now.

            • That may be viewed as a little dishonest.

While I sincerely appreciate your degree of restraint, Eeyore, dxv515 is entirely disingenuous in conflating the Marawi death tolls with those related to Duterte’s (admittedly) draconian efforts to combat the shabu (i.e., methamphetamine) epidemic that currently besets the Philippines.

Accusations of “troll” seem entirely warranted. This entire discussion centers upon the Islamic terrorism in Mindanao. Attempting to expand the argument to include non-jihadist casualties is, at best, flagrant misdirection.

For an idea of how long and how evil the Muslim presence in the southern Philippines, please review the Maguindanao massacre.

I’m not willing to wade through the Wikipedia entry right now. So, permit me to say that when I was in the Philippines just a few weeks after the massacre, more than one person told me that the killings were to prevent media exposure of how Islamic leaders of that “autonomous region” had diverted government development funds to build lavish estates and personal fortunes.

That’s why a busload of 58 victims (mostly journalists) were machine-gunned and then (vehicle and all) bulldozed into a cavernous mass grave.

As a sidebar, it is more than likely that a large portion of these addictive “speed” drugs originate in North Korea. Which is just one more reason to fry Psycho Fat Boy (even if we have to render him first).

            • Catholic Baptism leaves and indelible mark on the soul.

A bullet to the forehead will not wash it away.

When you kill a Baptized Catholic you kill a Catholic.

Far worse if the Baptized Catholic is in a state of mortal sin at the time of death.

Shows how evil Duterte is – he hunts down non-practicing Catholics and ends their life. No repentance for them. The souls that Duterte took are Catholic. He sent them to hell.

Duterte has declared a war on the Catholic Church:

“I will destroy the Church and the present status of so many priests and what they are doing. You priests, bishops, you condemn me and suggest I withdraw, but then I will start to open my mouth. There are so many secrets that we kept as children. Do not force (me to speak) because this religion is not so sacred.” Duterte

If you think Duterte is just going after drug dealers – you’re wrong.

Duterte is an Apostate Catholic himself.

Men like Duterte will meet with a bad end.

Please get back to me again when Duterte starts killing Catholic Bishops Priests & Religious..

  3. Is Duterte the only political leader in the world not fooled?

He is the only political leader that was raised around militant Islam, he knows it as only a victim of their arrogance and prejudices can.

    • he also supplies arms to the Muslims

His daughter is the Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte is Involved In Smuggling Operation At The Davao Customs Bureau.

The guns are sold to the Muslims in Marawi.

How do you thinks ISIS got guns into the Philippines?

      LOL!

      • His daughter is the Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte is Involved In Smuggling Operation At The Davao Customs Bureau.

        Cites and links, please.

When making such claims, you will not be taken seriously without direct references to legitimate information sources.

You already have show yourself willing to confuse statistics. I am proud to say that this board posts contrary opinions. None of which means that blatant misinformation will be tolerated.

Please know that—due to how pervasive corruption is in the Philippines—I would not be surprised if you are right. None of which absolves you of providing corroborating evidence.

          • Thank you for the link. While it is not entirely convincing, I can assure you that my grim view of Philippine corruption leaves me unsurprised.

If there was a counter-insurgency, I might be more doubtful about whatever final destination of the smuggled weapons. Sadly, “working both sides of the street” is a well-known tradition in many corrupt countries.

So, it would not surprise me to learn that Duterte’s relations are fueling the conflicts that permit him to appear as a staunch opponent of violent opposition factions.

As I told the Monsignor of Naga City’s Metropolitan Cathedral (and, also, the private secretary of Archbishop Legaspi), “corruption must be physically painful”. As in, when people begin to DIE because of their corrupt activities, only then will there be any meaningful change.

As dutiful Christians, they were unable to agree with me.
