  1. Witnesses: Militiamen seize Libyan ex-premier in Tripoli (abcnews, Aug 14, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/witnesses-militiamen-seize-libyan-premier-tripoli-49204649

“Libyan militiamen have abducted one of the country’s former prime ministers in the capital, Tripoli, witnesses said Monday.

They say Ali Zidan was led by an armed group out of a hotel where he was meeting with security officials late on Sunday. The witnesses spoke on condition of anonymity, fearing for their safety.

According to the witnesses, the militiamen that took Zidan were from the Tripoli Revolutionaries’ Brigade, which backs the U.N.-backed government.

There was no official statement on Zidan’s whereabouts.

Zidan was abducted once before by Tripoli’s unruly militias, in October 2013, but was released within days. He fled the country before competing militias seized Tripoli in 2014 but later returned.

Libya to this day remains torn by competing governments and parliaments with an array of militias backing various alliances.”

  2. Turkish police arrest suspected killer of Syrian journalists (abcnews, Aug 14, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/turkish-police-arrest-suspected-killer-syrian-journalists-49206056

“Turkey’s state news agency says that Turkish authorities have arrested and charged a suspected Islamic State group member with killing two Syrian journalists in Turkey in 2015.

Anadolu Agency said Monday that a Turkish court charged Muaz El Ahsin with murder for allegedly slitting the throats of Ibrahim Abdul-Qadir and Fares Hamadi. Both were journalists for the “Raqqa is being slaughtered silently” collective, a group publicizing atrocities in the Syrian city under IS rule.

Police detained Ahsin on Aug. 11 while he was trying to cross into Turkey illegally, according to Anadolu. A court later ordered him officially arrested on murder charges.

Anadolu said that Ahsin fled to Syria after the killings on Oct. 29, 2015. Anadolu said that police were still searching for other suspects.”

  4. NSA Confirms DNC Hacking Was An Inside Job

A bombshell new intelligence report says that the Democratic Party email hack—which the left frequently cites as an example of Russian interference in the election—was, in fact, an inside job.

The report, which was published by Patrick Lawrence of the liberal publication The Nation, explains that “forensic investigators, intelligence analysts, system designers, program architects, and computer scientists of long experience and strongly credentialed are now producing evidence disproving the official version of key events last year.”

“There was no hack of the Democratic National Committee’s system on July 5 last year—not by the Russians, not by anyone else,” wrote Lawrence. “Hard science now demonstrates it was a leak—a download executed locally with a memory key or a similarly portable data-storage device. In short, it was an inside job by someone with access to the DNC’s system. This casts serious doubt on the initial ‘hack,’ as alleged, that led to the very consequential publication of a large store of documents on WikiLeaks last summer.”

    • Girl, 13, killed and four critical as car mows down customers at Paris pizzeria (express, Aug 14, 2017)
      http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/841087/Paris-car-attack-terror-mowed-down-people-pizza-restaurant-seine-et-marne

“A TEENAGE girl has been killed and at least ten injured after a car “intentionally” ploughed into customers at a pizzeria in Paris.

Four of those injured are said to be in a critical condition.

A dark-coloured BMW crashed through the front of the restaurant on Monday evening in Seine-et-Marne, about an hour from the French capital Paris.

The 39-year-old male driver of the car, who has since been arrested, is believed to have intentionally crashed into the pizzeria’s terrace area on Rue du Commerce, Sept-Sorts.

A 13-year-old girl is believed to have died in the crash.

Initial reports suggested the girl was eight.

A French Interior Ministry spokesman said terror has not been ruled out, though early indications were that it was not.

Pierre-Henry Brandet told BFM TV: “I cannot tell you that terrorism has been discounted, but it is not the leading line of inquiry at this point. The first indications don’t point towards terrorism.”

Mr Brandet said four people were in a state of “absolute emergency”.

According to RTL radio, the man told police he had wanted to kill himself and had weapons in the car.

A source at the prosecutor’s office in nearby Meaux told Le Parisien newspaper that the suspect was a young man with suicidal tendencies.

They said: “He tried to kill himself yesterday and decided to try again like this today.”

A local official from the Seine-et-Marne prefecture declined to comment on the crash, but another said: “It can not be an accident because there are no traces of braking.”

A witness told BFMTV the driver tried to reverse away from the restaurant after crashing through the front windows, but was stopped.

They said: “A car drove into the terrace and crashed into the bar. The driver tried to reverse but someone stopped them.

“The gendarmes arrived quickly. There were around 20 people in the restaurant.”

French police have confirmed they are investigating following the collision, and claim the driver “clearly acted intentionally”…”

    • Until he got injured by an accident and a medical retirement my father worked track maintenance on a railroad. I grew up hearing about the things that can derail a train and can tell you that laying the cars on their side isn’t hard. Like the reporter I am not going to tell you how to do it but it isn’t hard.

      • Well its not by placing a penny on the track, cause that is the second best way to make copper wire.

The first of course is having two (place cheap ethnic group here) fight over it.

  5. Antifa Website Encourages ‘All Manner Of Violence’ Against Trump Supporters

    Anarchistic agenda

The Antifa website It’s Going Down openly welcomes violence to be hailed down on Trump supporters and capitalists, labeling anyone that disagrees with their anarchistic agenda as fascists.

As noted by Heat Street, “the website “features posters for self-identified anarchists that call for Trump supporters to be stabbed. A poster published in April shows the silhouette of a man with a Make America Great Again hat and a Pepe the Frog lapel pin being cornered by a bayonet. Behind him is the transparent silhouette of a Nazi.”

  6. NY Times Reporter Admits Antifa Protesters In Charlottesville Were ‘Hate-Filled’ And Violent Before Left Forces Her To Backtrack
“I saw club-wielding ‘antifa’ beating white nationalists being led out of the park.”

New York Times reporter Sheryl Gay Stolberg made the mistake of admitting that along with the abhorrent, violent, white supremacists who terrorized Charlottesville over the weekend, many Antifa protesters were also enacting “hate-filled” violence, as they’ve done in several other cities in recent months. For noting that the “hard left seemed as hate-filled as the alt-right” — citing “club-wielding ‘antifa’ beating white nationalists being led out of the park” — Stolberg was hammered online, even after repenting and issuing a correction that depicted the violent left in more heroic terms.

  7. CBS Slammed After Posting Video Of Photojournalist Assaulted By ‘Peaceful’ Protester
Blasted for double standard on Antifa, only caring about violence when one of their own is the victim.

More details, images and footage continue to emerge from the horrific events in Charlottesville on Saturday. ?On Sunday, CBS 6 posted a video from a counter-protest rally showing one of its photojournalists being hit in the back of the head with what he described as a “big stick,” after one of the protesters told him to “Stop filming, bro.”

CBS reports that the photographer, who was not on duty, was attempting to film some of the counter-protesters with his cell phone as the group moved down Broad Street. But things quickly turned south when one protester insisted he stop filming.

Effete White Supremacist vs. Dandy Podesta-Tool Mayor!

Charlottesville’s Michael Signer colludes with Richard Spencer to create a pre-planned, staged confrontation [FBI/CIA]! The recent tragedy in Charlottesville Va. where fully armed Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists marched in unison to protest the withdrawal of the Robert E. Lee statue. This protest was planned months ago (see recent posts).

The fact that these individuals shouted ‘racist’ and ‘anti-Semitic’ slurs belied one simple fact. Like any movement which supposedly represents so-called American Nationalism or pro-Trump sentiments, Richard Spencer’s influence was quite apparent to me. Spencer’s cohort is the has been Grand Wizard of the KKK David Duke. By now, David has been on the payroll of the FBI and several other federal organizations for decades.

      • I think it is a combination of the two, Soros is doing his best to see that the US doesn’t survive. If he can get the Hezbollah commandos and the ISIS fighters that are suppose to be here to cooperate with his paid thugs we are in for a very nasty time.

China may have had North Korea back down until the fighting in the US gets bad, think the demonstrations/riots during Nam but this time the rioters won’t be trying to avoid killing a lot of people.

  9. President Trump’s National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster is a Globalist with long ties to George Soros. How did such a person even get hired in the Trump White House? McMaster was promoted for the job by the President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, a liberal Democrat who falsely claimed he was responsible for Trump’s election. Kushner persuaded the President to fire Gen. Mike Flynn even though there is still no evidence of any crime by Flynn. Flynn was a strong supporter of the President’s “America First” foreign policy.

McMaster is a close friend and ally of the President’s new Cheif of Staff General John Kelly who makes no bones about his plans to isolate the President and cut off his communications with those who oppose the Globalist neocon agenda. “They plan to treat the President like a mushroom – keep him in the dark and feed him shit ” one longtime Trump personal security guard told me.

  10. The West Betrays U.S. Heroes Who Prevented Another 9/11

One of the most important chapters in the war on terror is being rewritten — with a moral inversion. Islamic terrorists who were arrested and deported have become “liberal causes célèbres”, while agents of the CIA who questioned them are not only being condemned but also financially crushed by punishment and legal bills — for having tried, legally, to save American lives.

Guantanamo Bay has supposedly become “the Gulag of our time”; the psychologists who interrogated the murderer who sawed off Daniel Pearl’s head have been charged with working “for money”; the “black sites” in the Polish and Lithuanian forests have been compared to Nazi concentration camps, and the U.S. jurists and officials who conducted the war on terror have been compared to the Germans hanged in Nuremberg.

“In just a few months, Obama had sent the CIA back to the September 10 culture of risk aversion and timidity that had contributed to the disaster of 9/11”, Bruce Thornton wrote in his book, The Wages of Appeasement. A few examples of Obama’s policy include a directive to release Justice Department memos on the process of vetting interrogation techniques for legality. The attorney general at the time, Eric Holder, appointed a special prosecutor to determine if the CIA officers involved in the interrogation program had been guilty of breaking the law.

  11. Violent Antifa Protesters Try to Shut Down Pro-Trump ‘Patriot Prayer’ Rally in Seattle

Hundreds of pro-Trump demonstrators and anti-Trump counter-protesters converged at Westlake Park in downtown Seattle on Sunday, resulting in several arrests and the confiscation of weapons.

The rally, organized by the conservative group Patriot Prayer, came one day after violent clashes in Charlottesville, Virginia, that left three people dead and dozens injured.

Counter-protesters — including antifa, Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), Veterans for Peace, Indivisible Seattle, Black Lives Matter, and the Freedom Socialist Party — marched “in solidarity against hate,” specifically against what they called “the bigotry, racism and violence” of the “far-right” organizers. Solidarity Against Hate counter-protesters waved communist flags, yelled “f*ck America,” squirted police with silly-string, and burned the American flag.

  12. Deadly attack targets UN mission in Timbuktu, Mali (BBC, Aug 14, 2017)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-40931832

“Gunmen have attacked a United Nations peacekeeping base in the city of Timbuktu in northern Mali, killing seven people.

Five of those who died were Malian security guards. The Malian military said the assault had been repulsed and four of the gunmen killed.

No group has claimed Monday’s attack. Islamist militants frequently target the UN mission in Mali.

More than 100 members of the force have been killed.

The country’s security has gradually worsened since 2013, when French forces repelled allied Islamist and Tuareg rebel fighters who had much of the north, including Timbuktu.

French troops and a 10,000-strong force of UN peacekeepers have been battling to stabilise the former French colony.”

  13. Yemen cholera epidemic: Cases exceed 500,000 in four months (BBC, Aug 14, 2017)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-40922963

“The number of suspected cases of cholera resulting from an epidemic in war-torn Yemen has reached 500,000, the World Health Organization (WHO) says.

At least 1,975 people have died since the waterborne disease began to spread rapidly at the end of April.

The WHO said the overall caseload had declined since July, but that 5,000 people a day were still being infected.

The disease spread due to deteriorating hygiene and sanitation conditions and disruptions to the water supply.

More than 14 million people are cut off from regular access to clean water and sanitation in Yemen, and waste collection has ceased in major cities…”

  14. Wildfires in south-eastern France have forced the evacuation of 10,000 people overnight, officials say.
Hundreds of firefighters have been deployed to battle the fires near Bormes-les-Mimosas, in the country’s Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
France earlier asked its EU neighbours for more help fighting the fires.
Some 4,000 hectares (15.4 sq miles) of land have burned along the Mediterranean coast, in the mountainous interior and on the island of Corsica.
“The evacuations, at least 10,000, followed the progression of the fire,” a fire official was quoted as saying by the AFP news agency.

    • Hillary Clinton Sent $800K from Campaign Funds to Her New ‘Resistance’ Group

Failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has sent $800,000 from her campaign funds to her new political action group, Federal Election Commission filings show.

Clinton announced her intent to be “part of the resistance” in May with the formation of Onward Together, a political action group that will fund a number of established “resistance” groups that can quickly counter President Trump with direct action and protests.

The group is dedicated to “encouraging people to organize, get involved, and run for office” and advancing “progressive values and work to build a brighter future for generations to come,” according to its mission statement.

Federal Election Commission records show that Clinton has sent hundreds of thousands from her campaign funds to her group the same month she announced its creation.

Hillary for America, Clinton’s campaign committee, made the $800,000 contribution to Onward Together on May 1, according to its FEC filings.

Reports from earlier this year indicated that Clinton is working with former aides and donors and will assist groups that have “impressed” her since her November election defeat. Liberal groups such as Swing Left, Run for Something, and Emerge America had already received funding at the group’s May 15 announcement, a Clinton aide told CNN at the time.

“From the Women’s March to airports across the country where communities are welcoming immigrants and refugees to town hall meetings in every community, Americans are speaking out like never before,” Clinton wrote in an email to supporters in May. “I believe more fiercely than ever that citizen engagement at every level is central to a strong and vibrant democracy.”

“In some cases, we’ll provide direct funding to these organizations. For others, we’ll help amplify their work and do what we can to help them continue to grow their audiences and expand their reach.”

The raucous town hall events referenced by Clinton were backed by Indivisible, another “resistance” group Clinton said she would support. Indivisible teamed up with Town Hall Project, a group that was started by a former Clinton staffer, on the events.

The Town Hall Project is linked to a number of liberal groups and refers readers to the Indivisible Guide on its website. The Center for American Progress Action Fund, the advocacy arm of an organization founded by former Clinton campaign manager John Podesta, also partnered with the Town Hall Project on anti-Trump events.

Onward Together is registered as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, which means that donors can contribute unlimited sums of money while remaining anonymous if they choose. These actions run counter to what Clinton had campaigned against throughout the presidential election.

Clinton’s campaign could not be reached for comment on the donation to Onward Together.

  15. Somali Migrant Arrested in Europe, Suspected of 2011 Oil Tanker Pirate Attack (breitbart, Aug 14, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/08/14/somali-migrant-arrested-europe-suspected-2011-oil-tanker-pirate-attack/

“A suspected ringleader of a terrorist-linked pirate group which hijacked an oil tanker has been arrested after being identified inside an Italian migrant camp.

The 24-year-old Somali Mohamed Farah arrived in Italy without paperwork or identification, a common state of affairs amongst migrants claiming asylum in Europe which makes them significantly harder to deport according to European Union rules.

The suspected pirate was identified after he requested asylum at a migrant centre in the Italian town of Caltanissetta, part of the process for which involved fingerprints being taken. Farah’s prints matched with those associated with a 2011 pirate attack, leading to his arrest and the launch of a police investigation, reports Roman newspaper Il Messaggero…”

“A Saudi man who chained up his wife and then tried to burn her alive with the help of a friend received a shockingly mild jail sentence of just 19 months.

The unnamed 40-year-old man restrained his wife with a chain, poured gasoline over her and then set the bound victim alight, local newspaper Okaz reported on Monday.

The woman, given the pseudonym Hajar al-Harbi by the newspaper, survived “miraculously” but has sustained life-changing injuries.

“The authorities at the time dealt with the matter, and the Sharia Court handed him a sentence of one year and seven months and to be flogged,” she told Okaz…”
