North Korea, Muslim gang wars in Quebec and more: Links 1 on Aug. 14, 2017

Normally, I would put this at the end of the post. But as its even more intense than most days I thought I would make it a foreword instead.

Please check the Reader’s Links post for the past couple of days. Both regular and new people have contributed a lot of significant news links, and some great analysis and opinions as well. Related work has made it impossible to post everything that we think is important, so there is a lot there worth seeing. Today may be similar in that there are probably half a dozen videos to edit or subtitle by day’s end, all of which are interesting and have taken the team quite a bit of work to do.

Hopefully you all will agree it was worth the effort.

First, an item from yesterday with the video. The brawl in Quebec.

1. N. Korea ‘on standby to launch,’ state-run paper says in response to Trump’s latest warnings.

(I think Kim thinks he is playing brinksmanship with Trump but trump is playing, ‘let’s see if these nukes still work’.)

North Korea took its turn Saturday in the country’s escalating, back-and-fourth with President Trump, with the state-run newspaper saying leader Kim Jung Un’s revolutionary army is “capable of fighting any war the U.S. wants.”

The assertion was made in an editorial that also states the Paektusan army is now “on the standby to launch fire into its mainland, waiting for an order of final attack.”

The editorial also argues that the United States “finds itself in an ever worsening dilemma, being thrown into the grip of extreme security unrest by the DPRK. This is tragicomedy of its own making. … If the Trump administration does not want the American empire to meet its tragic doom in its tenure, they had better talk and act properly.”

2. This morning, we posted a video on an Islamic prayer in a Manchester UK city hall meeting. What we should have added at the time, was the prayer you saw in the video’s actual meaning. Please see this article for those details. And yes, it makes a difference.

3. Is North Korea about to fire a submarine missile? Fresh activity is seen at test site as Kim Jong-un refuses to blink over US threats

North Korea could be preparing to carry out a submarine missile test in defiance of President Trump‘s attempts to bring the rogue nation to heel.

Satellite images taken on Monday shows activity at a test site which mirrors preparations ahead of the country’s last test of their Pukguksong-1 submarine-launched ballistic missile in August last year.

The images were released after President Trump said American weapons are ‘locked and loaded’ in case Kim Jong-un makes any more ‘overt threats’ toward the US.

4. Silence as ISNA Kicks Out Gay Muslims From Conference

(I guess even taqiyya has its limits. Or more likely, Islam feels itself in a position of sufficient strength that it no longer needs to pretend to be all inclusive and can start showing parts of its true face)

If you go into a bomb shelter, close the door and put on headphones, you’ll hear the sound of progressives reacting to how a top Muslim-American group discriminated against pro-LGBT Muslims: Total silence.

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) shockingly kicked out a pro-LGBT Muslim group named Muslims for Progressive Values from its table at an event in early July. It is now mid-August and not a word about it has been heard.

What should be even more embarrassing for supporters of gay rights is that the Muslim group’s table was jointly reserved by Muslims for Progressive Values and Human Rights Campaign.

The latter group describes itself as “the largest LGBT equality-rights advocacy group and political lobbying organization in the United States” with over one million members and supporters.

5. Dawkins: Muslims Aren’t Being Oppressed By Critics, ‘Muslims Are Oppressed by Islam’

(News flash Richard. We are ALL oppressed by Islam. That is how it was designed to be.)

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” author Richard Dawkins argued that Muslims aren’t being oppressed by critics of Islam like himself, but that they are oppressed by Islam.

Host Bill Maher and Dawkins talked about their mutual dis-invitation from speeches at UC-Berkeley and a radio station canceling an interview with Dawkins.

Dawkins said that there is “an epidemic that’s going on of people running scared from open speech,” and terrified of things that might be offensive.

6. Mark Steyn on the North Korean situation. Once again, not funny cause its true.

(Watching the old James Bond film, Octopussy, offers some insight on the subject discussed above)

7. The German Social Democrat Party, have a new campaign poster:

Egri explains: “The guy’s name, “Förster”, literally means “Forester” (like Smith, Miller, …)”

Thank you M., Egri Nok, Xanthippa, Wrath of Khan, EB., Sassy, Richard, and many, MANY more who sent in materials and comments and discussion. More to come today. Quite a bit actually. Thanks also to all the translators who worked quite hard on the upcoming materials, like Oz-Rita, Ava Lon, Egri Nok, Gary Fous and others as well.
Here is a FPM post about Rich Higgins, the man who presented the memo to Trump about a left-Islamic alliance and the threat it represents, which led to McMaster firing him.
This is not unimportant. I notice there is no byline on this post either. No idea what that means, but it could mean fear on the part of the author.

  1. I noticed no by line on the article about the memo but didn’t think about why no byline, it might be fear, that is a sad commentary on the current state of law and order in the US.

    • In the memo:
“Hence, the end state is not just a delegitimized, destabilized, immobilized and possibly destroyed presidency; but also a demoralized movement composed of a large enough bloc to elect a president that subsequently become self-aware of its own disenfranchisement.”

Who are that bloc waking up to the devils, three?

      • I have lost count of the number of people who have warned of a major revolt if the Deep State manages to destroy President Trump. The Deep State has ignored all of the warnings.
