PAKISTAN: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR FARTING IN MOSQUE DURING RAMADAN
A Pakistani judge has sentenced a man to be executed after he was expelled 17 times from 6 different mosques for excessive farting during the period of the Ramadan reports the Islamabad Herald this week.
The Ramadan is the most important religious festival for Muslims and the judge declared that he had indisposed people of the faith and even caused 53 people at one time to leave the mosque during a prayer, a “blasphemous act” which should be punished “according to Allah’s will.”
The judge was lenient, have admitted many experts in the region, as he gave the convicted man the choice of being beheaded or stoned to death.
“The law is clear, he should be stoned to death, beheading is a very light sentence and saves him from any suffering,” protested the government prosecutor.
A rare medical condition
Muhammad Al-Wahabi, 33, suffers from chronic flatulence, “a rare medical condition” he argued in his self-defense, as no lawyer would take his case.
“No lawyer is crazy enough to bet his career on this issue. If his client his condemned, as in this case, the lawyer would face prosecution and possibly the same faith as his client” admits legal expert Andrew Jones, a Middle Eastern law expert.
Al-Wahabi did not contest the judgment and even said the judgment was fair and that he hoped Allah would be gracious enough to pardon his blasphemous actions.
Al-Wahabi also admitted that he put a tampon in his rectum several times in a desperate attempt to mask the noise and odor.
“A disgraceful and insidious act” the judge declared, visibly disgusted.
“Muslims are not allowed to insert any objects inside their anus, not even a finger, it is forbidden by the Koran,” said the judge.
“As a judge, I must set an example for other Muslims. This is clearly unacceptable under Shariah law,” he concluded.
Al-Wahabi admitted to the judge he had failed his God, his religion, and his people and was terribly sorry for what he had done, and asked for his two wives and seven children’s mercy in court and thanked the judge for his verdict.

The AFL’s diversity manager, Ali Fahour, has been banned from playing or officiating in any future football matches after striking an opposition player in the head over the weekend.
Fahour was captured on video punching Whittlesea player Dale Saddington and knocking him unconscious, during a suburban football match on Saturday.

Fahour was given a 14-week ban for the incident but has now accumulated more than 16 matches worth of suspensions.
If a player is suspended for a total of 16 weeks over a player’s career, the player is then automatically deregistered and cannot play in any league, including the AFL and cannot officiate.
He has now been suspended for a total of 21 matches.
The 16-week threshold was introduced by AFL Victoria in 2008 and later nationally.
It is believed Fahour can apply for re-registration.
Fahour, who plays for West Preston-Lakeside in the NFL, is the head of multicultural and Indigenous partnerships and programs at the AFL.
The league is now under pressure to remove Fahour from his role, but it has not yet made any comment.
Fahour spoke at the hearing but did not make any comments to the media as he left.
On Monday, he made a short statement saying he was deeply ashamed of the incident and that he had apologised to Saddington, who was reportedly considering legal action.
Fahour was given a red card by the umpire and sent off the field for the remainder of the match after the incident on Saturday.
He was also suspended for three matches earlier this year for another striking incident.

CNN has struck back in the the war over the wrestling GIF.
On Sunday, President Trump posted a GIF from a video taken during his appearance during WrestleMania 23 in which he beats down a wrestler. However, this particular GIF was a little different, in that the CNN logo is superimposed over the wrestler’s face, making it appear as though Trump was assaulting the news organization itself.

Vatican police have broken up a gay orgy at the home of the secretary to one of Pope Francis’s key advisers, it has been reported.
The flat belonged to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which is in charge of tackling clerical sexual abuse.

It would be easy to melt down over the extremely silly, but therefore troubling, spectacle that unfolded over the Independence Day holiday, pursuant to Donald Trump’s tweet of a “meme” GIF depicting him body-slamming and pummeling “CNN.”

On Monday, CNN cited the Anti-Defamation League on the origin of the video, which seemed to trace to a Reddit user with a history of highly offensive comments.
CNN pursued the Reddit user, a person with the promising handle HanA**holeSolo, and proceeded to identify his real name with online searches. On 4 July, Andrew Kaczynski of the KFile published a report on this scoop.
The report has justifiably prompted a massive social media backlash, because it outlines with startling clarity that CNN is basically blackmailing the individual in question.
Kaczynski reports that HanA**holeSolo has fallen all over himself to apologize, quoting from the lengthy apology he posted on a subreddit (/ The_Donald), and noting that he had deleted all the other posts from his account. (The user account is now apparently deleted entirely.)
But Kaczynski goes further, clearly implying a threat of exposure to HanA**HoleSolo, whose identity CNN has so far declined to publish:
So CNN is using its media power to intimidate a person who posted a bunch of offensive BS online – some of it revolting in the extreme, but none of it illegal or defamatory. Out of what others have reported on the HanA**holeSolo Reddit oeuvre, it appears that the only real individual target was CNN, whose logo was used in the Trump body-slam GIF. CNN couldn’t even get in the front door of a civil court with a complaint about that.
But the full picture mustn’t be ignored. The ickiness of this interlude is equaled by that of HanA**holeSolo’s reported Reddit history, which the Guardian lays out in some detail. You’re welcome to peruse what they’ve got; I don’t have time to bleep and blur out all the vile pig excrement the user was spewing about blacks, Jews, Muslims, etc.
Clearly, HanA**holeSolo is no choirboy. Clearly, also, he feels a form of compunction, probably involving inward cowardice, about making, well, a racist a**hole of himself on social media. Getting caught has been a lousy experience.
#CNNBlackmail has been trending on Twitter for several hours now. The latest piece of “evidence,” posted by an anonymous Reddit user and impossible to verify, is that HanA**holeSolo is 15 years old. At some point, if he’s an adult, it seems likely that the individual will think it wiser to simply expose his own identity.

Richard: The tweet shouldn’t have been made, which is something I have never said about any previous tweet by President Trump, but CNNs reaction is way over the top. This clearly touched a nerve and caused CNN to panic. they must be getting worried about the peasants bringing out the pitchforks, torches and ropes. More families fleeing Central America resettling in Mexico
MEXICO CITY (AP) — The armed, masked gang members showed up on a motorcycle at the home in northern Honduras last fall with a stark warning for the occupants: Leave town within 24 hours, or else.
Laura Maria Cruz Martinez, another single mother and the nine kids in their care hurriedly threw clothing and personal items into bags and made for the border before dawn, their home abandoned with the furniture and appliances left in place.
Nine months later they’re together again in two adjacent apartments in a working-class neighborhood of eastern Mexico City. It hasn’t always been easy adjusting to this megalopolis of 20 million-plus, with its crowded subway and unfamiliar, slang-heavy Spanish, but at least they’re safe from the gangs rampaging back home.
All eleven were recognized as refugees by Mexico in March and granted asylum, making them part of a growing wave of refugees from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala who are resettling here instead of trying to reach the United States, which many see as increasingly hostile.

UN to Meet on North Korea After U.S. Confirms Rocket Was ICBM
The United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency meeting later Wednesday after the U.S. confirmed North Korea’s rocket launch on July 4 was its first intercontinental ballistic missile.
As North Korean leader Kim Jong Un bragged about sending more “gifts” to U.S. President Donald Trump, South Korea and the U.S. announced Wednesday they had conducted a joint ballistic-missile drill in waters off the eastern coast of the Korean peninsula.
With Secretary of State Rex Tillerson calling North Korea’s actions a “new escalation of the threat” to the U.S. and its allies, the UN is set to issue a condemnation of the missile test, which comes in defiance of international sanctions. Still, with China and South Korea also calling for caution, and urging fresh efforts to entice North Korea to talks, the prospects for strong action appear limited.

We will know more about what is going to happen by what China and Russia do during the Security Council meeting, if, I repeat if either or both blocks any actions including sanctions against North Korea they are wanting a war and we will have no choice but to respond with military force preferably overwhelming military force that destroys Kim’s ability to wage war and with luck removes Kim most if not all of his family members and the top 5 or 6 layers of North Korean leadership.

If you have any doubts about China’s active backing of Kim look at the mobile missile transport that was used in the test. This is a dedicated missile transport launch system that despite the propaganda is useless for transporting timber. China gave Kim the missile carrier/launcher and probably helped in the missile development. I make this statement because of the leap in missile tech that this launch showed. It is possible that North Korea made this jump on their own but unlikely. All of the other missiles that were launched were liquid fueled but the one shown on the missile carrier looks to be solid fuel.
Now that Kim has his ICBM the big question is can he mate a nuclear warhead to the missile? He is claiming to have this ability and by extension to have the re-entry vehicle that will allow the warhead to survive re-entry. If, I repeat if this is true he probably (ver high probability) has the ability to make a nuclear warhead to a medium or even short range missile. We have no choice but to believe his statements and to respond to the threat to attack the US and our allies. As I said earlier this attack should consist of overwhelming force, yes there will be massive causalities but if we wait there will be many times more causalities, possibly an order of magnitude higher.

“PHILIPPINE soldiers have found the beheaded bodies of two Vietnamese sailors abducted a year ago by Islamist militant Abu Sayyaf group near the restive southern island of Basilan, an army spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
Six Vietnamese sailors were taken captive after Abu Sayyaf militants attacked their cargo ship in June last year, but one was rescued last month during a combat operation.
The two bodies were retrieved at about 7am (2300 GMT) yesterday near the island’s town of Sumisip, said Captain Jo-Ann Petinglay, the spokesman of the Western Mindanao Command.
“Our troops found the headless bodies after local residents alerted us about the cadavers,” Petinglay told reporters, adding that the heads were found beside the bodies.
The men had been identified as Hoang Thong and Hoang Va Hai, both crew of the ship MV Royal 16, Petinglay said, adding, “We have informed the Vietnamese embassy in Manila.”

NYPD Officer Shot Dead in An ‘Unprovoked Attack
A police officer is dead in New York after being shot early Wednesday morning.
Officials say 48-year-old officer Miosotis Familia was sitting inside a command vehicle when she was approached by the gunman in what officials are calling an “unprovoked attack.”
She was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition, and she later died.
According to reports, the susepct fled and officers were warned by radio to keep their car windows closed.
The gunman was shot and killed by police one block away from the incident, after he pulled out a revolver.
Authorities have confirmed the officer was a 12-year-veteran with the NYPD, and a member of the 46th precinct.

Manchester Airport’s Terminal 3 to reopen after controlled explosion
LONDON (Reuters) – Manchester Airport’s Terminal 3 is set to reopen after a police bomb team carried out a controlled explosion on a suspicious bag that led to the evacuation of passengers and staff.

Stephen Hawking makes claim about global warming so bizarre he is attacked by fellow warmists

Climate scientists and policy experts are criticizing famed theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking for arguing President Donald Trump’s policies would push the Earth “over the brink” towards runaway global warming.
Hawking told told BBC News in a Sunday story that Trump’s recent decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate accord would doom the Earth.
“We are close to the tipping point where global warming becomes irreversible. Trump’s action could push the Earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of two hundred and fifty degrees, and raining sulphuric acid,” Hawking said in the interview.
“Climate change is one of the great dangers we face, and it’s one we can prevent if we act now,” Hawking said. “By denying the evidence for climate change, and pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement, Donald Trump will cause avoidable environmental damage to our beautiful planet, endangering the natural world, for us and our children.”
Climate scientists, even those usually worried about future global warming, pushed back against Hawking’s claims that Earth would become like Venus.

“More that 5,000 new female genital mutilation (FGM) cases were recorded in England last year, with more than 9,000 women and girls attending the National Health Service (NHS) due to the gruesome practice.
Almost half involved women and girls living in London, a third were women and girls born in Somalia, and 112 cases were UK-born nationals.
The data released by NHS Digital covers the period between April 2016 and March 2017, and includes numbers from both NHS trusts and GP practices.
These statistics show that in the last year there were 9,179 attendances in which FGM was either identified, treatment was given, or a woman with FGM had given birth to a baby girl.
In total, 5,391 attendances were recorded in the system for the first time – 114 of which were girls under the age of 16.
FGM is common in many African nations and has become increasingly common in the UK with mass migration.
The gruesome practice, used to suppress and control female sexuality, has been illegal in the UK since 1985 but no one has ever been prosecuted for the crime in Britain.
The NSPCC said more should be done to end the practice. A spokesman told the BBC.

“Saudi Arabia is the chief foreign promoter of Islamist extremism in the UK, a new report has claimed.
The Henry Jackson Society said there was a “clear and growing link” between Islamist organisations in receipt of overseas funds, hate preachers and Jihadist groups promoting violence.
The foreign affairs think tank called for a public inquiry into the role of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations.
The Saudi embassy in London says the claims are “categorically false”.
Meanwhile, ministers are under pressure to publish their own report on UK-based Islamist groups.
The Home Office report into the existence and influence of Jihadist organisations, commissioned by former Prime Minister David Cameron in 2015, has reportedly yet to be completed amid questions as to whether it will ever be published.
Critics have suggested it could make uncomfortable reading for the government, which has close and longstanding diplomatic, security and economic links with the Gulf, particularly Saudi Arabia.
BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner said he understood the report was “largely finished and sitting on Theresa May’s desk”, but there was probably a reluctance to publish it because of “embarrassing” content.
‘Illiberal ideology’
The Henry Jackson Society is a foreign policy think tank that advocates the robust spreading of liberal democracy, the rule of law and the market economy.
Their report says a number of Gulf nations, as well as Iran, are providing financial support to mosques and Islamic educational institutions which have played host to extremist preachers and been linked to the spread of extremist material.
At the top of the list, the report claims, is Saudi Arabia, the UK’s closest ally in the Middle East and biggest trading partner.
It alleges individuals and foundations have been heavily involved in exporting what it calls “an illiberal, bigoted Wahhabi ideology”, quoting a number of examples.
In a minority of cases, the report alleges institutions in the UK that receive Saudi funding are run directly from Saudi Arabia, although in most instances the money appears to “simply buy foreign donors’ influence”…”

Chicago zoo plans massive condom giveaway to protect wildlife from humans

One of Chicago’s largest zoos plans on giving away more than 700 condoms Thursday as part of a new program designed to help prevent overpopulation.
The event is meant to promote the debut of “Pillow Talk,” a program from environmentalists at the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD). Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo is partnering with the group to show a connection between human population growth and wildlife extinction.
“People may recognize that we’re crowding out monarch butterflies and horned lizards, but they often don’t realize that there’s a big way individuals can make a difference,” Sarah Baillie, a population and sustainability intern at CBD, wrote in a press statement announcing the event.
Some of the most colorful condom packages include slogans like “Wrap with care, save the polar bear” and “Before it gets any hotter, remember the sea otter.”
Julian Braun, a spokesman with the Lincoln Park Zoo, told The Daily Caller News Foundation that the condom handout is part of the zoo’s exclusive adults only after hours event happening throughout the remainder of this year.

Move over social injustice and make way for ‘spatial injustice’

Nope, you can stop guessing. “Spatial injustice” is not a paucity of safe spaces — though it is an invention of the same mentality that gave rise to such indispensable life aids of the Left as microaggressions and gender pronouns. Rather, spatial injustice is a phenomenon found in urban hubs with elaborate highway systems, which allow the 1% to escape to the insular comfort of the suburbs, while the inner-city working poor are relegated to their walkups, etc. Be sure to add car culture to your glossary of grievances.
According to Campus Reform:
The article goes on to note that the term spatial injustice was coined by Edward Soja, who taught urban planning at UCLA until his death in 2015. In a 2009 monograph, Soja lamented the “production of unjust geographies and spatial structures of privilege” within cities, which he argued were “aggravated further by racism, patriarchy, heterosexual bias.”
Students who take the course at UCLA will learn how “roads and highways have contributed to racial and economic segregation” in the city of Los Angeles because “the automobile has provided differential and territorial access” to “particular segments” of the city’s population, while other segments were displaced to make room for new infrastructure. At the end of the course, students are given assault rifles and sent out into the streets to reclaim them in the name of spatial justice.
I made up that last sentence, though this type of response would be a natural outgrowth of the brainwashing taking place at universities across the nation. Don’t be surprised if one of these days a group of students whipped into a frenzy by such well-intentioned but potentially incendiary grievance mongering does just what I’ve described.

The university decided to act after media reported the alleged text manipulations by staff reporting to Kurz.

zero hedge – Over 500,000 Syrian Refugees Return To Government-Controlled Areas Of Syria
Crucial to the Western narrative of the Syrian conflict is the assertion that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is a brutal dictator who has taken to killing his own people over the course of Syria’s six-year-long conflict. This allegation has been the crux of the “humanitarian” justification for foreign military intervention in Syria that would seek to depose Assad’s government, a justification frequently used by the U.S. and its allies prior to an invasion or the toppling of an extant regime.
While this narrative has been pervasive in media coverage of the Syrian conflict, it is now being debunked by the very Syrian refugees that the media purported were fleeing Assad in the first place. According to a recent statement from Andrej Mahecic, a spokesman for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, an estimated 440,000 displaced Syrians who remained in the country have returned to their homes since the year began. In addition, 31,000 refugees in neighboring countries also returned to Syria in the first half of the year, with 260,000 having returned to Syria from other nations since 2015.
Though Mahecic noted that these refugees represent only a “fraction” of the five million Syrian refugees living in neighboring countries, what is notable is that nearly all of those who have decided to come back are settling in areas of Syria controlled by the government or where the Syrian government has made major territorial gains against ISIS and US-backed militants like al-Nusra Front in recent months – namely Aleppo, Hama, Homs and Damascus.
Even with the conflict in Syria still raging, thousands of the displaced are eagerly returning to their homes under the control of the Syrian government. This may seem strange, as the U.S. media has long suggested that most refugees were fleeing Assad, not foreign-backed terrorists like Daesh (ISIS) and Al-Nusra.
Of course, this assertion was based on “polls” of refugees conducted by the Syria Campaign, a USAID-funded organization that has long pushed for U.S. military intervention in Syria.
This begs the question: why would refugees choose to return to territory controlled by the person they supposedly sought to flee, as the mainstream media portrays?
These latest figures from the UN suggest that many refugees were not fleeing their government, but rather the violence caused by a foreign-funded insurgency intended to topple the popular Assad government. As Middle East Eye noted in 2015, prior to the outbreak of the conflict, Assad was widely popular, though his popularity allegedly evaporated as the 2011 Saudi- and U.S.-funded uprising began.
Did Assad’s popularity with the Syrian people ever really go away? Western media reports containing interviews with the handful of Syrians who support Assad as dictator claim it is so. But the evidence has long suggested that the majority of Syrians have continued to approve of their president throughout the conflict.
Indeed, there is plenty of evidence that the “popular uprisings” against the Assad government in 2011 were staged on behalf of foreign mercenaries largely backed by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey – governments that have long sought to remove Assad from power. Assad’s popularity prior to the outbreak of violence likely remained unchanged after the fact.
Polling within Syria has consistently shown this to be true. Even polls funded by anti-Assad nations like Qatar have also found that the majority of Syrians continue to overwhelmingly support Assad. Indeed, when elections were last held in 2014, the Western media could not hide the large crowds that came to vote, as the population re-elected Assad, who won with 88 percent of the vote. By contrast, voter turnout was 55.7 percent in the last U.S. Presidential election, suggesting that Assad has a stronger democratic mandate than U.S. President Donald Trump.
Six years into the conflict, video footage, and photographs clearly show that Assad and his wife regularly walk among the Syrian people in Damascus with little to no security detail. The Assads even drive their own cars – without security – through the countryside.
This seems like a difficult feat for a “hated” and “feared” dictator to perform on a regular basis. By contrast, some Western leaders can hardly spend a few minutes among their constituents – even with a massive security detail in tow – without being sped away for their own protection.
Even U.S. politicians who have traveled to Syria have come back acknowledging Assad’s popularity. For instance, Virginia State Senator Richard Black has cited internal reports from U.S. intelligence which state that, were an election in Syria to be held today, Assad would likely be reelected with 90 percent of the vote, including in areas occupied by terrorists.

Malaysian Islamic department says keeping dogs against religion’s teachings
The Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) has criticised a Malay woman over a video of her and her pet dog Bubu, calling her actions an affront to Islam, reported news site The Malay Mail Online.
In a posting on his Facebook page on Wednesday (July 5), Jakim director-general Othman Mustapha said intentionally touching dogs was “highly disturbing” and went against Islamic teachings.
“We find her actions to be highly disturbing to Muslims here as they contravene our culture and the tenets of our school of jurisprudence,” Tan Sri Othman said on his page.
He explained that while the religion provides procedures for Muslims to clean themselves after coming into contact with impurities such as dogs, this does not mean they may adopt the animals as pets. “… it’s as if someone intentionally commits a sin with the excuse that he can repent later,” he posted.
“Therefore, Jakim hopes the individual will stop her actions and repent to Allah. Her actions suggests she is trying to start a new culture that can be insulting to Islam,” Mr Othman added.
In the video, the head-scarved woman Nurhanizah Abdul Rahman talks about how she began feeding Bubu, a stray mongrel, and eventually adopted the dog after rescuing her from a mass culling operation in 2015. The video was entered in a competition by pet lovers group SmartHeart.

AUSTRALIA – Channel 7 removes ‘hateful’ poll over Yassmin Abdel-Magied’s decision to leave the country
CHANNEL 7’s digital arm has “unreservedly” apologised for publishing a now removed Facebook poll asking followers to vote on whether the Muslim activist Yassmin Abdel-Magied should leave the country or “face her critics”.
The poll, posted on the 7 News Australia Facebook page, was slammed by followers and commentators for inciting racist discussion and bullying, and Ms Abdel-Magied herself said it invited “prejudice and discrimination”.
After being questioned by news.com.au, the station removed the poll from and admitted it “should never have been posted”.
Yahoo7, which administers the 7 News Australia Facebook page along together with Seven News, has since taken responsibility for the post.
The Facebook post published Tuesday asked followers to comment on Ms Magied’s decision to leave Australia. The controversial television presenter and commentator recently announced she was moving to London after being “traumatised” over facing what she described as “deeply racist” criticism.
The engineer-turned-media personality has been constantly criticised since posting an insensitive comment on Anzac Day which she removed from her page.
Seven’s post shared the news that Ms Abdel-Magied had announced she was leaving Australia and posed the question: “Do you support her decision to move to London or do you think she should stay and face her critics?”
The post attracted more than 1600 comments and 17,500 votes, according to Facebook.
In an update published overnight 15 per cent of respondents had voted “no” and 85 per cent has voted “yes”.
While many respondents were critical of Ms Abdel-Magied, an outspoken Muslim who has defended her religion publicly, a lot of commenters hit Seven with accusations of “bullying” over the decision to publish it and invite “racist” and “vitriolic” discussion”.

“This is awful. Why would you think it was acceptable to poll people on Yassmin’s decision to move to London? Particularly in light of the relentless racist vitriol that she’s copped that 7 News Australia is contributing to,” Sophie Trevitt wrote.
“As a media outlet, you don’t think you have any ethical and professional responsibilities? Check out the comments below.”

In an email to news.com.au, Ms Abdel-Magied said she considered the post a poor publishing decision.
“This is more a reflection of Channel 7’s poor editorial decision-making than anything else,” she said.
“The outlet’s profiling of me in this way invites prejudice and discrimination. It’s pretty trashy click-bait.”
A spokeswoman for Channel 7 told news.com.au the situation was being investigated.
“The poll have been removed. It should never have been posted and we are reviewing how that occurred.”
News.com.au has since received a statement from Yahoo7 apologising for the post.
“The poll regarding Yassmin Abdel-Magied was posted by the Yahoo7 online news team, which administers the 7News Australia Facebook page, together with 7News,” the statement read.
“It was posted to genuinely create discussion around a balanced article and it was never the intention to generate inappropriate commentary on social media.
“We accept this was an error of judgment, the post has been removed and we unreservedly apologise to anyone offended.”

Instances of men inappropriately fondling and kissing the advertisement were widely shared on social media leading the energy giant to brand the acts ‘disrespectful’.
The member of staff who posed up for the picture to feature on the lifesize posters said she felt ‘humiliated’ when pictures of her chest and crotch being grabbed my motorists were seen by her friends and family.
Shell has 950 outlets in Malaysia and said it would not tolerate the ‘distasteful and suggestive acts’ and therefore ripped them down.
In a statement, the company criticised what it called the ‘extreme behaviour’ of the men.
The cutouts are of a 25-year-old female employee Nor Shafila in a company t-shirt, black trousers and black headscarf.
She told local paper The Star: ‘They may just be joking, but I feel humiliated because that is still myself although it is just an image.’
Many of the pictures were plastered over Facebook, including one man who identified himself as Shahril Azmi Abdul Shukor or Abang Shahril seen ‘molesting’ the advert.
He told the Free Malaysia Today: ‘I humbly apologise over my actions. I admit I crossed the line.’
The man said he only meant the picture of him kissing the picture of Ms Shafila as a joke he could send to his WhatsApp group.
As well as offering to meet her in person, he apologised to Shell and said: ‘I am also a loyal customer. My purpose then was to pump petrol.
‘I let the excitement get the better of me.’
Religious conservatism has been on the rise in recent years in the Muslim-majority Malaysia and Shell said the acts went against the local culture and values.
