  1. North Korea appeared to use China truck in its first claimed ICBM test

SEOUL (Reuters) – North Korea appeared to use a Chinese truck originally sold for hauling timber to transport and erect a ballistic missile that was successfully launched on Tuesday, highlighting the challenge of enforcing sanctions to curb its weapons program.

North Korea state television showed a large truck painted in military camouflage carrying the missile. It was identical to one a U.N. sanctions panel has said was “most likely” converted from a Chinese timber truck.

Since 2006, U.N. sanctions have banned the shipment of military hardware to North Korea. But control of equipment and vehicles that have “dual-use” military and civilian applications has been far less stringent.

The vehicle was imported from China and declared for civilian use by the North Korean foreign ministry, according to a 2013 report by the U.N. panel. Tuesday’s launch was the first time the truck had been seen in a military field operation in pictures published in state media.

    • North Korea appeared to use a Chinese truck originally sold for hauling timber to transport and erect a ballistic missile that was successfully launched on Tuesday, highlighting the challenge of enforcing sanctions to curb its weapons program.

      1) We don’t know if this is a picture of the actual missile test, it may be a picture of a Chinese test.

      2) That is a dedicated missile transport trunk, it is used to run the solid fuel mobile ICBMs around the country to make it h arder for a first strike to take out the missiles.

      • Regardless, it’s time for all importing countries to join a comprehensive boycott of Communist Chinese exports.

In the most simple terms, Red China is the most gigantic economic bubble in human history. Its proportions make the 1989 junk bond investment savings and loan meltdown, the 1997 Asian (flu) Financial Crisis, the 2001 dot-com bust, and the 2008 United States housing bubble look like small potatoes, COMBINED.

For only a few more fleeting years will Communist China remain this economically vulnerable. If the global community managed to unify and collectively (all puns intended) read Beijing the proverbial riot act, there might be some hope of forcing China’s Mandarins to execute Psycho Fat Boy, halt their Spratly Island incursion, modify African economic policies, and alter their intensely abusive currency manipulation.

Without immediate action, this world will quite likely get a very bitter taste of what happens when a hyper-corrupt superpower is allowed to rampage across the global economic stage. Of one thing I can assure you, it won’t be pretty.

        • That it is, of course the socialist governments in the west have managed to create a massive bubble in our nations, one that will burst sooner or later. It is a question on whose bubble will burst first and if it is ours which nation will trigger the collapse,.No matter who triggers the collapse it sill cause the other bubble to collapse causing economic and political chaos that most people can imagine.

In case you missed it, Elizabeth Warren ?
    18%
had a birthday last month. It’s not too late to send the senator from Massachusetts a gift, though be advised if you send her a DNA testing kit, she will likely return it.

That was the action taken by Warren (whose tribal name is Paleface Squaw with Forked Tongue) when she received a 23&me DNA test kit from V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai, a Republican who is challenging her for her Senate seat. Yesterday, Shiva, posted this hilarious tweet:

  3. CBC – Joint Eid, Canada Day celebration aims to squash Islamophobia

Hamilton’s Muslim community gets together to celebrate Canada while tackling misconceptions of Islam

A message of peace is what members of Hamilton’s Muslim community wanted to share at a combined Eid and Canada Day celebration Sunday in Riverdale.

Hamilton’s Muslim community invited the Riverdale neigbourhood to festivities at the community centre as a way to connect people of various backgrounds that make up the area.

It was also used as an opportunity to dismantle stereotypes of Islam.

“The Riverdale neighbourhood is one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in Hamilton and people from all over the world make their home here in Riverdale,” said Nazia Zeb from the Social Planning and Research Council of Hamilton.

Zeb saw the event as a great opportunity to offer a celebration for people from all over the world who now call Canada home.

    A religion of ‘peace’

She also thought it was a chance to explain to people that Islam is a religion of peace.

“While a few are extremist people, people should not think that all Muslims are terrorists and should not harm any Muslim just because few people who are extremists have done something bad,” said Zeb. “Not the entire Muslim community is responsible for that.”

    Addressing Islamophobia

Liyakat Takim, McMaster professor and Sharjah Chair in Global Islam, was asked to speak at Sunday’s event.

“I think the important thing is we need to address the issue of Islamophobia,” said Takim.

He expressed the need to get the right message across not only because “of what these crazy extremists are doing on behalf of Islam,” but also to clear up any misunderstandings that people may have about the religion.

One of the issues that bother non-Muslims, he said, is the misunderstanding that Muslims want to impose Sharia Law in Western countries.

He said that Muslims aren’t allowed to impose Sharia Law on non-Muslims in their own countries.

“If we cannot impose our law on others in our own countries, how can we impose it on those outside our own countries,” said Takim.

His main message is to not be scared of Muslims or of Islam.

“We’re not here to harm anybody or to impose ourselves on anybody,” said Takim.

‘We can be Muslims and we can be Canadians at the same time’

Takim also stressed that there’s nothing in the Canadian Constitution that is against or counter to Islamic law. He says Islamic law is fully in agreement with the Canadian Constitution.

Takim also said that Muslims should celebrate Canada Day the way others do.

“I don’t believe that we should shy away from participating in Canadian holidays or events because we are Muslims,” said Takim. “We can be Muslims and we can be Canadians at the same time, without compromising one or the other.”

Takim’s advice is for people to get to know Muslims and the mosques in their community.

“Be friendly with them and let’s reach out in the name of humanity.”

Ward 5 Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board trustee, Aldo D’Intino also brought a message to the event —it was one of “tolerance and understanding.”

“Their faith and our faith may be drastically different, but they’re both faiths,” said D’Intino. “It’s a free country, you believe what you want and that’s the key.”

  4. 26 DIFFERENT ARABIC QUR’ANS CAUSE MUSLIMS TO ATTACK

About a year ago Jay Smith and Hatun Tash got up on the ladder at Speakers’ Corner to show 26 different Arabic Qur’ans to the world. They didn’t have the time then to go through the 26 Qur’ans, and so they decided to do a similar talk, but this time go through and show where some of the differences were.

To date (the Arabic scholars who are doing the research, not Jay nor Hatun, who are clear that they are not Arabic scholars) have found 45,377 differences within the 26 Qur’ans they are looking at. That number will continue to rise as they find hundreds, and perhaps thousands more.

Jay and Hatun couldn’t go through all the 45,377 differences they were aware of, so they only brought down about 70 examples, taken from an assortment of the 26 Qur’ans in their hands.

The crowd listening was the largest down there that day, and it became quickly evident that the Muslims did not stay to listen, as one after another left, once they heard what was being discussed.

Even Mansur Ahmed, a supposed authority on ‘Ahruf’ and ‘Qira’at’, came over to the ladder and tried to get Jay and Hatun down off the ladder to to debate him face-to-face, but was rebuffed, and so had to leave as well.

This video is just a synopsis of what happened at the ladder. The full video, which is over an hour long, will be put up on Pfanderfilms, once the slides of the variants are included, so that everyone can not only see where the variants are, but also how they change the meaning in almost every case, and even change the theology of the verses.

Once Jay and Hatun had finished, and were preparing to leave, a group of Muslim men surrounded them, and tried to stop them, asking at first to be given the Qur’ans. When Jay and Hatun refused, they then became physical, trying to grab the Qur’ans from the bags, even ripping one of the bags, as Jay and his friends tried to quickly walk away.

The Muslims followed them, harassing them and trying to steal the Qur’ans from them.

It wasn’t until Jay and his group crossed the two streets beyond the corner that they were finally able to get away from them, where Jay then made a quick video as a conclusion to his talk, pointing out just how desperate these Muslims were that we not keep these Qur’ans, nor let others see them.

Muslims will not be able again to claim that the Qur’an is pure and unchanged, nor that it came from Allah, nor that it came from Muhammad, nor that it even came from Uthman. Jay and Hatun have proved, with the evidence from these 26 Qur’ans that there are many Qur’ans in the world today, and that this proves it is nothing more than a man-made document, written by men, but not in the 7th century, nor even completed in the 8th century. These 45,377 variant changes all occur in the 9th-10th centuries.

    • If this information is repeated long enough and if the evidence of the Moslem scholars is presented with it over time (many decades to a couple of centuries) Islam will be destroyed. If the information is suppressed by our dimmih politicians nothing will come from the revelations.

  5. US Coalition Hits ISIS 25 Times With Its Own ‘Fireworks’ to Celebrate Independence Day

The U.S. led anti-Islamic State coalition bombed the terrorist group 25 times July 3, Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) said in a statement Tuesday.

The 25 strikes consisted of “85 engagements” against the terrorist group and spanned Iraq and Syria. The strikes come amid two large scale U.S. backed pushes in both countries.

The U.S. is currently in the last phase of supporting the Iraqi Security Force’s military campaign to retake the formerly ISIS held city of Mosul. ISIS controlled the city uncontested for nearly two years and has put up a brutal defense since U.S. backed operations began in October 2016. The group routinely uses civilian human shields and child suicide bombers.

ISIS is currently constrained to two separate enclaves within Mosul, OIR spokesman Army Col. Ryan Dillon told reporters Thursday. The enclaves are separated from each other by the Iraqi Security Forces and are currently under assault. The Iraqi Security Forces will “imminently” announce the city’s liberation, Dillon said.

  6. Italy: Anti-Islamisation Party launched in Milan

Journalist Stefano Cassinelli and orthodox priest Alessandro Meluzzi, founders of the Anti-Islamisation Party (PAI), presented, on Tuesday in Milan, their new Italian political movement. The PAI could reportedly turn into a fully-fledged political party in the future.

SOT, Stefano Cassinelli, journalist (Italian): “According to Islam, the word of God is superior to the law. It is not acceptable in a secular, democratic country.”

SOT, Stefano Cassinelli, journalist (Italian): “I cannot stand the word tolerance. I tolerate a callus under a foot. I want mutual equality, equality is reciprocal. Tolerance implies that I am superior, you are inferior, and I tolerate you. No. I say: we are the same, we are equal. I respect you, you respect me. This is the principle of liberalism.”

SOT, Alessandro Meluzzi, orthodox priest (Italian): “We don’t fake kindness, we are kind. We want to defend a liberal constitution that has defended our rights so far. We are not against Islam, but we are against the forced Islamisation of Europe”.

  8. Downing Street Accused of Burying Terror Report to Protect Saudi Arabia (breitbart, Jul 4, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/07/04/claim-no-10-buried-terror-report-protect-saudi-arabia/

“Prime Minister Theresa May has been accused of “covering up” a report into the foreign funding of Islamist groups for fear it would expose Saudi Arabia.

Mrs. May said Monday, in response to a parliamentary question on the report, that “ministers are considering advice on what is able to be published and will report to parliament with an update in due course”.

Breitbart London reported in June that the review, then claimed to be incomplete, was said to focus on Saudi funding of jihadi groups in the United Kingdom and may never be released as the contents were considered “very sensitive”.

However, The Times reports on Tuesday the review had been in the prime minister’s possession for at least six months, and it took until last week for the government to disclose that it had been completed.

Home Office sources said the report does include references to the Gulf state, but claims the Sunni Muslim country is not of major focus.

The inquiry was authorised by former Prime Minster David Cameron in 2015 in exchange for Liberal Democrat support for the extension of British airstrikes against Islamic State into Syria, with the report to be shown to then-Home Secretary May and Mr. Cameron.

In May of this year, Liberal Democrat Foreign Affairs Spokesman Tom Brake wrote to the prime minister asking her to confirm she would release the report.

“It is no secret that Saudi Arabia in particular provides funding to hundreds of mosques in the UK, espousing a very hardline Wahhabist interpretation of Islam. It is often in these institutions that British extremism takes root. Now is not the time to brush this under the carpet once more,” he wrote.

Tim Farron, the outgoing Liberal Democrat leader, said Monday night: “The government are covering up this report. It’s a scandal that this is sitting in Downing Street gathering dust. What has the prime minister got to hide?

“I believe this report will be deeply critical of Saudi [Arabia] and that is why it is being hidden from the public. The government seems too desperate to keep Saudi Arabia happy rather than stand up to them.””

  9. Head of ‘Liberal’ Berlin Mosque Under 24-Hour Police Guard After Multiple Death Threats (breitbart, Jul 4, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/07/04/head-liberal-berlin-mosque-police-guard-multiple-death-threats/

“The female founder of a new “liberal” mosque in Berlin has found herself under 24-hour police protection after receiving over a hundred death threats.

Female lawyer Seyran Ates is the founder of the liberal Ibn Ruschd-Goethe mosque, which was established earlier this year. Ms. Ates, a Kurdish Muslim born in Turkey, blames the Turkish government of President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, saying Erdo?an supporters were behind the daily death threats, Kronen Zeitung reports.

Diyanet, the Turkish government’s religious authority, immediately slammed Ates and her mosque accusing the founders of being close to the Gulen movement who they blame for the attempted coup last summer.

As a result of Diyanet’s accusations, many Muslims in Berlin have totally avoided the mosque and Ates herself has had to be put under police protection.

“On social media, I have received so many death threats because of the establishment of the mosque that the National Criminal Police Office has come to believe that I have to protect myself around the clock,” Ates said.

According to reports, President Erdo?an himself has commented on the mosque saying that it should be closed as soon as possible…”

  10. Perth born ‘Dr Jihad’ Tareq Kamleh appears in new Islamic State propaganda video

THE Australian doctor who fled the country two years ago to fight with Islamic State has appeared in a new video overnight, calling on would-be terrorists to “fight for the cause anywhere”.

In a call to arms by the terror group, Perth-born paediatrician Tareq Kamleh, known as “Dr Jihad” or the “Playboy doctor” in mainstream media, appears in an Islamic State propaganda video looking markedly different to when he first appeared in 2015.

The clip is proof the doctor, who was described at the time by Australian colleagues as “lazy” and “flirtatious”, has survived the last two-years of war after travelling from Australia to war torn Raqqa in Syria.

“Is it that you love this life more than you love the life after? But the enjoyment of this life is only but little,” he says in the video.

In a direct message to US president Donald Trump, in which he called predecessor Obama “effeminate” he threatened Islamic State were “eagerly awaiting your attempt” to put troops on the ground in the Middle East.

“We were so happy because for a long time we have been waiting for your soldiers to meet us on the ground here and your effeminate predecessor Obama danced around this subject for too long,” Kamleh said.

“He refused to send us your soldiers and now we know they are on the lands wanting to enter our lands. We are really eagerly awaiting your attempt.

“We love death more than you love life.”

In the new clip, Kamleh carries a machine gun and wears a bullet proof vest in what some reports describe as a tunnel under Raqqa and urges lone wolf attacks on Australia.

“We’re dealing with countless numbers of burnt children that are coming in at the moment from the continuous bombings that America is dropping on us,” he says.

“It really surprises me of how the Muslim nation is acting at the moment and how stagnant you have all become.

“What more will it take for it to be a justified cause to come her for Allah’s sake?”

“And if you can’t make a way to come here, jihad itself isn’t only in the lands of Syria or Iraq, fighting for the cause of Allah is anywhere.

“You are living in the countries that are sending us rockets. You are living in the countries that are killing Muslim men here and you are paying taxes to them

“You have no honour, you have no self respect. You have no love for fellow Muslims.”[…]

  11. Turkey insists on troop presence in any Cyprus peace deal (abcnews, Jul 4, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/turkish-minister-troops-leave-cyprus-peace-deal-48433179

“Turkey appeared to toughen its stance in talks to reunify Cyprus by insisting Tuesday that it won’t sign up to any deal involving the withdrawal of all its troops from the ethnically divided Mediterranean island nation.

At talks to end Cyprus’ 43-year ethnic divide at the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, made it clear that a peace accord would not include a specific, agreed-upon date by which all Turkish troops would have to be pulled out.

“There will be no sunset clause … and Turkish troops will be staying on the island because this is the demand of the Turkish Cypriots,” Cavusoglu said. “I mean, if there is anybody dreaming this they have to wake up, there will be no sunset clause.”

Cavusoglu has previously stated Turkey’s opposition to a full troop withdrawal as part of a deal to unify the island as a federation between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots. But Tuesday’s remarks appeared unequivocal, leaving no negotiating room for Greek Cypriots who have been pushing for a full troop pull-out in order to remove what they see as a vestige of control from Ankara…”

  12. Australia: The Madness Continues

    by Judith Bergman
    July 4, 2017 at 5:30 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10604/australia-madnes

During the month of Ramadan alone, the world witnessed 160 Islamic attacks in 29 countries, in which 1627 people were murdered and 1824 injured. Nevertheless, the dual efforts to deny any links between Islamic terrorism and Islam on the one hand, and the efforts to accommodate Islam to the greatest extent possible on the other, seem to continue unaffected by the realities of Islamic terrorism — in Australia, as well, which is experiencing its own share of sharia and jihad.

At the end of May, the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) called on the Australian Parliament’s Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade to:

“…include a recommendation in its report that disavows the notion that there is any inherent link between Islam and terrorism… The Committee should condemn any politician who refers divisively (expressly or implied) to any religious or ethnic group for the purpose of political gain.”

PHAA Chief Executive Michael Moore said that there is no inherent link between any religion and acts of terror:

“When you look at terrorism and the IRA, I don’t think many people blamed Christianity for terrorism when clearly there was an overlay. In fact there’s nothing inherent in Christianity that links to terrorism”.

Since when are public health officials qualified to make authoritative statements on the theology of Islam or its linkage to Islamic terrorism?

  13. MEMRI – Sheikh Prays To Allah For Slaughtering of Americans and Europeans!

In an address at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinian cleric Sheikh Nadhal Siam, also known as “Abu Ibrahim,” criticized the Saudi and Qatari regimes, which, he said, were “immersed in collaboration” with the Americans and the English, respectively. His prayers to Allah to “enable us to slaughter” the Americans, the Europeans and the “criminal and treacherous” Arab rulers were answered by cries of “Amen” from his audience. 14. World’s Rallying Cry: “Free Iran”

    by Majid Rafizadeh
    July 4, 2017 at 4:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10624/free-iran

Tens of thousands of people came together in Paris on July 1 from all different corners of the world, to unite against the unspeakable atrocities committed by the Islamist state of Iran. It was the largest gathering of Iranians abroad of its kind.

The conference, organized by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), was spurred by the desire to speak up for human rights, peace, women’s rights, freedom, democracy, and to demand victory over terrorism. Its focus was to generate awareness of the plight of Iran’s innocent and vulnerable citizens, against whom the Iranian government has been wreaking havoc — with no consequences — for decades.

Leaders, journalists, prominent figures from around the world, and scholars joined the rallying cry of “Free Iran”. The array of speakers included several prominent Americans, including former US Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton; former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich; former Attorney General Michael Mukasey; former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge; former FBI Director Louis Freeh, and Congressmen Ted Poe, Robert Pittenger and Tom Garret.

  15. Iran: Regime Change is Within Reach

    by John R. Bolton
    July 3, 2017 at 10:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10620/iran-regime-change

The following is a transcript of Ambassador John Bolton’s speech to the Grand Gathering of Iranians for Free Iran, on July 1, 2017.

It’s a great pleasure and an honor to be with you again here today. I must say, we come at a time of really extraordinary events in the United States that the distinguish today from the circumstances one year ago. Contrary to what virtually every political commentator said, contrary to what almost every public opinion poll said, contrary to what many people said around the world, Barack Obama’s first Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is not the president of the United States.

So for the first time in at least eight years that I’ve been coming to this event, I can say that we have a president of the United States who is completely and totally opposed to the regime in Tehran. This is the true feeling of the president, and he’s made it very clear — he made it clear during the election campaign last year, he’s made it clear numerous statements and even in tweets since then; he completely opposes the Iran nuclear deal signed by his predecessor.

    • Iran Should Give France Ultimatum for MKO Gathering

The editor-in-chief of the Iranian Diplomacy news website has, in an analytical piece, talked about the recent gathering of the terrorist Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO or MEK) in the French capital of Paris.

Sergei Barseghian has underlined the need for a redefinition of Tehran-Paris ties given the European side’s support for the anti-Iran terrorist cult.

The gathering of MKO ringleader Maryam Rajavi’s cult in Paris was a repeat of last year’s show; there were even no new faces among the VIP guests, who included former officials of different countries. In other words, the MKO had failed to attract any new individuals. Turki al-Faisal, Bernard Kouchner, Newton Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani, Joe Lieberman, John Bolton, etc., all have delivered speeches at MKO gatherings before. However, no new member has joined their clan, which means a failure. The presence of former French President Bernard Kouchner at this year’s gathering and his delivering a speech must be strange. However, it was not the first time he made comments about Iran’s political system. He had made similar remarks during Iran’s 2009 post-election unrest when he was foreign minister. Turki al-Faisal’s comments should not be taken seriously, either. This Saudi prince, who claims Iran’s presidential elections are undemocratic, has objected to Riyadh’s handing over the throne to Mohammad bin Salman. The former US officials attending the gathering are the same individuals present in previous events. Bolton, Lieberman and Giuliani are the same people who wrote a letter to US President Donald Trump urging him to cooperate with the MKO against Iran.

The Associated Press and Fox News reported in early 2017 that Newton Gingrich and Rudy Giuliani had benefited from the MKO’s “generosity” for delivering speeches against Iran. Incumbent US Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao has confessed that he received $50,000 for delivering a five-minute speech. Still, Rajavi has failed to entrap any new bribees.

But what is important is that the MKO gathering was held just hours after Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif visited Paris. Of course, in reaction to the gathering, Zarif said the MKO get-together was a “moot point in relations” with France, and quoted French officials as saying that Paris has no relations with the MKO. But a terrorist group holding a gathering in another country attended by former officials of some other countries and marked by speeches against the legal and official system of a certain state (Iran) is something beyond a moot point, and is regarded as a “move against” international law, which the Iranian foreign ministry and embassy should not easily ignore. Moreover, the timing of Zarif’s trip is under serious criticism given that the date of the MKO’s gathering had already been announced. And there is some doubt about the French officials’ giving assurances that they have no connection with the MKO, especially at a time when they remain silent in the face of a gathering that the former French foreign minister calls a “family meeting.”

The issue cannot be settled simply by summoning the French ambassador or charge d’affaires in Tehran to the Foreign Ministry. Kouchner has claimed that “You were oppressed in my country, France, and I feel guilty for that.” By “being oppressed” he meant the French government’s attack on the MKO’s headquarters in Auvers-sur-Oise, a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, in mid-2003. Some 300 members of the terror group were arrested in the raid on charges of planning to carry out terrorist operations. But France seems to have changed its approach toward the MKO since 2003, so much so that it hosts the terror group’s annual gathering.

The raid on the MKO’s base came a few days after then Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi hit out at his French counterpart Dominique de Villepin, saying it was unacceptable and not understandable that a terrorist organization was present in France and operating there.

“It seems these terrorists, who have dealt a blow to us in Iran, enjoy a sort of immunity in Auvers-sur-Oise,” Kharazi had noted at the time.

MKO members claim de Villepin had told Kharrazi that “I can tell you that Nicolas Sarkozy is preparing an operation in this regard.” If this admission by MKO terrorists is accepted, then the Iranian diplomacy will assume a much more important role. Perhaps here we should change the diplomatic language from a “moot point” to the “element of accusation”. Governments which have fallen victim to terrorism “enjoy the legitimate right to defend themselves against armed operations conducted by non-governmental dissident groups in a third country.” Under the current circumstances, Iran-France relations need a serious ultimatum and should be redefined, given that Paris has hosted an MKO banquet for former politicians with a past rife with failures. Another point is that not even one election has been held at the MKO while the terror group claims that there should be “elections and freedom” in Iran.

The MKO is the most hated terrorist group among Iranians because of its dark history of assassinations and bombings and for siding with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in his eight-year war against Iran in the 1980s.

One of the MKO’s deadliest terrorist operations was carried out on 28 June 1981 when a powerful bomb went off at the headquarters of the Islamic Republic Party of Iran in Tehran, while a meeting of party leaders was in progress. Over 70 top Iranian officials were killed in the bomb blast.

Out of the nearly 17,000 Iranians killed in terrorist assaults since the victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, about 12,000 have fallen victim to MKO’s acts of terror.

    • Prince Turki: Iranian officials must be ‘brought to justice’

PARIS: Tens of thousands of Iranians gathered in the giant auditorium in Villepente Exhibition Center, near Paris, on Saturday in a massive expression of support urging the world to adopt a firm approach toward the theocratic regime in Iran.
The gathering featured a large and varied selection of speakers from all over the world and across the political spectrum, including Saudi Prince Turki Al-Faisal and a large delegation from the Syrian opposition.

Addressing the conference, Prince Turki Al-Faisal called for Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Iranian officials to be brought to justice for their “crimes against the Iranian people,” who he described as the “first victims” of the Iranian regime.

He said he was “honored” to be at the event, which was attended by thousands of people who fled “their country because of the dictatorship of the Mullahs’ regime.”
Prince Turki explained that what made Arabs and Iranians brothers, was “not only geography, but the humanitarian relationships.”

He added: “There are Arab tribes that lived in Iran and became families, and there are a lot of Persian families who came (to Saudi Arabia) to perform their pilgrimage and also became our families.”

He said all at the conference “stood together” as they shared a “mutual history” that helped the development of human civilization. 🙂 🙂 🙂

“All the (Gulf Cooperation Council) GCC countries and their neighbor Iran have always been living in harmony until the Khomeini revolution came into being in 1979,” Prince Turki added.

He said there was an “external strategy… to replace the concept of stability with the concept of coup and conflict.”

The rally focused on the prospects for democratic change in Iran and condemned the regime’s repression of human rights and record for regional intervention.

Speakers also voiced their support for change and solidarity with the Iranian opposition with the rallying cry of “free Iran.”

The gathering, held annually near Paris, typically draws hundreds of prominent figures from all over the world, and was an impressive display of the political muscle of Iran’s principle opposition, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

The rally captured the growing momentum for change regarding Iran, including changes in policies and attitudes in the Middle East and Washington, and the prospect for a new approach toward the regime in the Islamic Republic.

The array of speakers, which included several prominent Americans, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and former US Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, as well as Congressmen Ted Poe, expressed hope that the changes taking place in the international community would culminate in a new approach toward Iran and a strategic partnership with the Iranian opposition.
Giuliani said he hoped the new US administration would take steps to “not only implement a new approach toward the regime in Iran, but to embrace the Iranian opposition in tackling a common problem.”

Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), struck a hopeful note for democratic change, stating: “The ruling regime is in disarray and paralyzed as never before. Iranian society is simmering with discontent and the international community is finally getting closer to the reality that appeasing the ruling theocracy is misguided.”

Rajavi highlighted the plight of Iran’s population under the current regime, and commended Iran’s political prisoners for supporting the gathering “from the depths of the regime’s torture chambers.”

“The sun of change is shining on Iran,” she added, to an enthusiastic crowd of thousands cheering “We are ready.”

Rajavi added that the international community must “recognize the resistance of the Iranian people to overthrow the mullahs’ religious dictatorship and designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization and evict it from the entire region.”

Gingrich praised the Iranian opposition as not only a just and pure movement, praising the leadership of Maryam Rajavi adding: “She is persistent in difficult times. She is a great leader. I thank each of you on her behalf to help her make her a truly historic figure. Our people want a constitution based on freedom, democracy, and equality.”

The rally offered a clear vision of what change in Iran could look like, and the broad base from all over the world to make this vision come true. Given the current political climate and the potential for change within the region, the prospect for a new Iran, and free Iran may be closer than ever.

Speech by Amir Turki al-Faisal in the Free Iran Gathering July 2017 in Paris

      • Whenever you hear the name of Saudi Prince Turki Al-Faisal, remember this:

From the 2003 artice: Saudi envoy in UK linked to 9/11

But Turki is not what he seems. Behind him lies a murky tale of espionage, terrorism and torture. For, while Turki has many powerful friends among Britain’s elite, he is no ordinary diplomat. Turki has now been served with legal papers by lawyers acting for relatives of the victims of 11 September.

They accuse him of funding and supporting Osama bin Laden. The Observer can also reveal that Turki has now admitted for the first time that Saudi interrogators have tortured six British citizens arrested in Saudi Arabia and accused of carrying out a bombing campaign.

The revelations throw a stark light on Turki’s appointment late last year as Saudi Arabia’s new ambassador to Britain. They also cast doubt on the suitability of Charles’s relationship with senior Saudis. A year ago Charles had dinner with bin Laden’s brother, Bakr bin Laden, and regularly hosted meetings for Turki’s predecessor, Dr Ghazi Algosaibi, who was recalled after writing poems praising suicide bombers.

The US lawsuit is seeking more than $1 trillion in compensation from a list of individuals and companies alleged to have supported al- Qaeda. The claimants’ head lawyer, Ron Motley, a veteran of successful anti-tobacco suits, has already called it ‘the trial of the century’.

Now, after papers were served on Turki several weeks ago, the Saudi ambassador will be at the heart of it. Legal papers in the case obtained by The Observer make it clear that the allegations are serious and lengthy. Many centre around Turki’s role as head of the Saudi intelligence agency. He held the post for 25 years before being replaced in 2001 just before the attacks on New York.

Turki admits to meeting bin Laden four or five times in the 1980s, when the Saudi-born terrorist was being supported by the West in Afghanistan. Turki also admits meeting Taliban leader Mullah Omar in 1998. He says he was seeking to extradite bin Laden at the request of the United States.

However, the legal papers tell a different story. Based on sworn testimony from a Taliban intelligence chief called Mullah Kakshar, they allege that Turki had two meetings in 1998 with al-Qaeda. They say that Turki helped seal a deal whereby al-Qaeda would not attack Saudi targets. In return, Saudi Arabia would make no demands for extradition or the closure of bin Laden’s network of training camps. Turki also promised financial assistance to Mullah Omar. A few weeks after the meetings, 400 new pick-up vehicles arrived in Kandahar, the papers say.

Kakshar’s statement also says that Turki arranged for donations to be made directly to al-Qaeda and bin Laden by a group of wealthy Saudi businessmen. ‘Mullah Kakshar’s sworn statement implicates Prince Turki as the facilitator of these money transfers in support of the Taliban, al-Qaeda and international terrorism,’ the papers said.

Turki’s link to one of al-Qaeda’s top money- launderers, Mohammed Zouaydi, who lived in Saudi Arabia from 1996 to 2001, is also exposed. Zouaydi acted as the accountant for the Faisal branch of the Saudi royal family that includes Turki. Zouaydi, who is now in jail in Spain, is also accused of being al-Qaeda’s top European financier. He distributed more than $1 million to al-Qaeda units, including the Hamburg cell of Mohammed Atta which plotted the World Trade Centre attack.

Finally the lawsuit alleges that Turki was ‘instrumental’ in setting up a meeting between bin Laden and senior Iraqi intelligence agent Faruq al-Hijazi in December 1998. At that meeting it is alleged that bin Laden agreed to avenge recent American bombings of Iraqi targets and in return Iraq offered him a safe haven and gave him blank Yemeni passports.

        GOT THAT?!?

    • JUNE 03 2017 – MARYAM RAJAVI ADDRESSES “INTERFAITH SOLIDARITY AGAINST EXTREMISM”

      Distinguished guests,

Dear sisters and brothers, from Palestine, Syria, Yemen, and other countries, who have joined this Iftar reception hosted by the Iranian Resistance,

[..]The tenth of Ramadan is the anniversary of the passing of Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra , the honorable wife of the Prophet, the first convert to Islam and the great supporter of the Prophet Muhammad . The Prophet described her as a “God-given gift and blessing.”

Our endless salutations and respects to her. She set an immortal example for emancipated and free women of all ages.

She is the ideological mother of all believers and forerunners who have followed the Prophet’s path. This is why her name and memory inspire solidarity among all Muslims, regardless of their sect or creed.

[…]Ramadhan is the month in which the Qur’an was sent down, as a guide to mankind, and as clear signs for guidance and judgment between right and wrong.

[…]Ramadan brings warmth to humanity, leads them to unity, and inspires sympathy, consensus and understanding of our shared values.

[…]Ideologically, this foundation, which derives from the truth of Islam, is to deny religious compulsion and compulsory religion.

[…]Islam does not approve of using force to impose an opinion or a religion.

[…]Islam at its core is the standard-bearer of brotherhood in the world.
Wasn’t it the Prophet who eliminated jealousy and revenge from relations among people?

[…]He brought the religion of freedom, compassion and forgiveness; the religion of tolerance and charity, heartfelt affection; the religion of solidarity, brotherhood, and sisterhood.

[…]And let us also remember that he obliged his people to live in peaceful coexistence with followers and adherents of other faiths and religions. He also taught believers to cherish their differences as a blessing.

[…]he went to Medina with a message of peace and brotherhood, and when he returned to Mecca, his message was clemency and kindness.

[…]Islam promotes tolerance towards adherents of other faiths and fellow human beings. Islam espouses peaceful coexistence among mankind from every race, gender, faith and creed.

[…]In a charter written in the 11th month after the Prophet’s migration to Medina, he said, “Jews and Muslims are one people and one nation with the only difference being that Jews follow their religion and Muslims follow theirs.”

[…]The spirit of Islam abhors all forms of compulsion, coercion and forcible prohibition, ranging from imposing the compulsory veil to the forced observance of fasting and prayers by flogging and terror, to preventing the construction of Sunni mosques, and especially to imposing the rule of a government under the name of Allah and Islam.

  16. Turkey Issues Protest to Germany Over ‘Kill Dictatorship’ Installation in Berlin

The Turkish Foreign Ministry on Tuesday issued a diplomatic note to Germany protesting an installation set up by an artist in front of the German Chancellery in Berlin as calling for violence against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, media reported.

On Monday, a car and a banner saying “Do you want to win this car? Then kill the dictatorship” with images of several world leaders, including Erdogan, were placed outside the German Chancellery. According to media reports, the installation was set up by artist Philipp Ruch. The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the incident saying that it encouraged violence and hatred.

“Our concern over the incident, which is an example of increasing racism and xenophobia in Germany, was conveyed to Germany’s Embassy in Ankara and the German Foreign Ministry through a diplomatic note,” the ministry said in a statement, as quoted by the Turkish Daily Sabah newspaper.

The ministry added that Ankara expected Berlin to take steps to prevent such provocative actions.

Turkey protests to Germany over ‘kill dictatorship’

In another incident claimed by the Centre for Political Beauty, Turkish police at the weekend said they had seized from a hotel room in the centre of Istanbul a machine that was printing and distributing anti-Erdogan pamphlets onto the street below

Turkey protested officially to Germany today that an artist had been allowed to set up an installation in central berlin offering a car as a prize in exchange for killing world leaders including President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The installation was set up outside the offices of Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Monday, comprising a Mercedes C-class car and banners with pictures of Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi King salman.

“Do you want this car? Kill dictatorship!” said the slogan.

Erdogan is frequently accused by opponents of acting like a dictator, although he rubbishes the idea, noting that he is the first directly-elected president in Turkish history.

The action was staged by the art collective Centre for Political Beauty led bv Phillip Ruch, which has made several stunts in the past including displaying four tigers in the centre of Berlin to protest at refugee policy.

Turkey’s embassy to Berlin said it was “incomprehensible and unacceptable” that Ruch had been allowed to set up such an installation with no intervention from the local security forces.

“It is clear that in such a sensitive time when communal peace and shared values need to be protected, these kinds of actions encouraging hatred and violence will not serve peace,” the embassy said in a statement.

It said an “urgent note” had been sent to the German foreign ministry to make the protest.

All three leaders targeted in the stunt were due to attend the G20 summit in Hamburg this Friday and Saturday although King Salman has now cancelled his trip.

Turkey-German relations are going through a rocky period with Berlin stepping up its criticism of ankara’s rights record under Erdogan.

In another incident claimed by the Centre for Political Beauty, Turkish police at the weekend said they had seized from a hotel room in the centre of Istanbul a machine that was printing and distributing anti-Erdogan pamphlets onto the street below.

Reports on Turkish media said police were looking for a German citizen who had already left the country.

The Centre for Political Beauty said over 1,000 copies of an anti-Erdogan leaflet were thrown from a hotel window into Gezi Park in Istanbul.

  17. Parsing hype from reality in North Korea’s ICBM claim

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — If North Korea’s claim Tuesday of its first ICBM test-launch is true, it has barreled over a red line that the world has long called a tripwire for potential nuclear disaster.

As always with North Korea, however, it’s hard to tell how wide the gulf is between reality and rhetoric.

Analysts, for instance, believe the latest missile may be able to hit Alaska, a marked improvement on past efforts and potentially placing it in the intercontinental ballistic missile category, but far from backing North Korea’s claim it can now “strike anywhere on Earth.” …….

    ….WHY IT DOESN’T REALLY MATTER

    Persistence.

North Korea, whose ethos of self-reliance is akin to a national religion, has for decades sought to build weapons that can combat U.S. and South Korean “hostility.”

Nothing has stopped the country’s tenacious progress — not sanctions, not threats, not diplomacy.

A U.S. and South Korean attack would end North Korea’s ruling class, but it would also kill huge numbers of South Koreans who live an easy drive from the world’s most heavily armed border.

This means that without finding the right solution, it may only be a matter of time before reality matches North Korea’s propaganda, which on Tuesday called the test the “final step toward completing the nation’s nuclear military strength.”

    http://www.gopusa.com/?p=26645?omhide=true

    • 1 – Click through are read the full article.

2 – North Korea is a Chinese Puppet so they aren’t going to do anyth8ing without Chinese approval. For China to give the go ahead for these tests China is saying that they aren’t afraid of a war with the US. This statement is a real big mistake, The US can’t afford to let North Korea acquire nukes and neither can China. The US also can’t back down from North Korea and China, after 8 years of Obama the US can’t afford to show any weakness to any nation. This means that the US will have to use every diplomatic step it can to put pressure on China and North Korea but in the end we will have to go in with military force. We will be forced to use force because the left has so undercut US credibility that we can’t do anything else.

      3) When we are forced to go in we will not hit the missile and nuclear facilities or go after the North Korean leaders, the first targets we will have will be the artillery forces that are threatening South Korea. This will limit the number of civilian causalities from the artillery, but the causalities will still be massive. However we hve to look at the long term to make this decision, for sake of argument say that if we hit North Korea some thing this year there will be 1 million causalities, now think about the number of causalities if we wain 5 to 10 years and let Kim build his nuclear weapons and let China fortify the South and East China Seas, what will the causalities be then? 5 million ? 10 million? Higher? And if we wait will we be able to keep the fighting to the Korean Peninsula? If we wait will Japan take out the 3 gorges dam to let us win the war? How many causalities will this cause?

The left is not famous for any long term thinking that doesn’t include the destruction of Western civilization, when facing a threat like North Korea their solution is to kick the can down the road and let later Presidents deal with the problem. Well they have kicked this can down the road to the point that we can’t afford to do that again.

      4) Earlier I said that China was saying that they are ready to go toe to toe with the US in a war, I think this is a bluff. The economic reports are all saying that the Chinese economy is about to take, it is one of the weakest in the world. It has two main sources of income, 1} the interest the US pays on the debt China has bought and 2} exporting manufactured good to the North Korea and Europe. Unless they are going to launch nuclear weapons early on the war will be a long war and China will have cut off both of its main sources of income. The railroad to Europe won’t be finished for a few years so they can’t use it to deliver goods to Europe.

Lets look at the probable effects to a long war. 1} starvation, they won’t be able to get their wheat and other food from Australia and South America. 2) As they are weakened in the by the war the Far Eastern nations that are setting out the war as neutrals will see the advantage of joning into the war to be able to seize assets from China. India will move to recover the land China stole in the 1962 war. The nations that have competing claims to Islands China wants will move to ensure that China has no claim to any island. Taiwan may get some smaller nations to join with them to seize portions of the Mainland, unlikely but this would depend on how badly China is being damaged. Also if China is being damaged enough Russia may decide to come in out our side to be able to seize part of China for the New Russian Empire that Putin is building.

      5) Now lets look at the advantage of China letting the US and South Korea take out the North. Obama did grave damage to the US military, we are still capable of fighting a major war but it will be a long war requiring the US to pull most of its military out of other regions and send them to Korea. This would give China and Russia a fairly free hand in the Middle East and Africa and would give Russia more leverage in Europe.

I see more advantages for China and Russia if they let the US and South Korea take North Korea. They could even make money selling material to Korean to rebuild the war damage. Yes they would have the new Korean Army and their Us allies on their border but given modern weaponry while this is more dangerous then having North Korea as a buffer zone it isn’t very much more dangerous.

  18. FOREWORD
“He said it was God’s will 1″

“This report considers the serious sexual wrongdoing of Peter Ball, a bishop of the Church of England (the Church), who abused many boys and men over a period of twenty years or more. That is shocking in itself but is compounded by the failure of the Church to respond appropriately to his misconduct, again over a period of many years. Ball’s priority was to protect and promote himself and he maligned the abused. The Church colluded with that
rather than seeking to help those he had harmed, or assuring itself of the safety of others.”

  19. Britain on brink of WORST house price collapse since the 1990s, expert warns (express, Jul 4, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/824772/britain-house-price-collapse-worst-since-1990s-negative-equity

“HOUSE prices in Britain are close to a crash that could be as bad as the bust of the early 1990s, according to warnings from a leading economics expert.

Paul Cheshire, Professor of Economic Geography at the London School of Economics claims the warning signs are clear, suggesting a plunge of at least 40 per cent.

The warnings have led to an increased fear of the return of “negative equity”, in which the value of a property falls so far, it becomes less than the cost of the mortgage.

Negative equity affected around one million people at the lowest point in the 1990s property market bust.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, the Professor, who is also a former government housing advisor, said: “We are due a significant correction in house prices. I think we are beginning to see signs that correction may be starting.

“Historically, trends seem always to start in London and then move out across the rest of the country. In the capital, you are already seeing house prices rising less rapidly than in other parts of Britain.”

Such a shift in the property values would impact recent buyers the most – with markets usually taking years to recover.

The previous pricing boom deteriorates over six years, and saw prices plunge by 37 per cent…”

  20. Merkel’s shock U-turn: German Chancellor flip-flops on Greece debt as election looms (express, Jul 4, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/824769/Germany-Angela-Merkel-Greece-debt-crisis-economy-finance-IMF-France-Emmanuel-Macron

“GERMAN Chancellor Angela Merkel has performed a major U-turn on her plans to rescue the Eurozone from economic turmoil.

Since 2010, Mrs Merkel has urged the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to play a key role in tackling the Greek debt crisis.

But new plans laid out by her party could see the IMF take a far smaller role in any future bailouts.

The Christian Democratic Union (CDU) wants the Eurozone’s bailout fund, the European Stability Mechanism (ESM), to be dramatically expanded.

The policy was unveiled in the party’s manifesto ahead of September’s crunch elections in Germany.

Angela Merkel, 62, is looking to drum up support as she stands for a record fourth term as Chancellor.

The CDU hopes the ESM will play a “stronger role, perhaps even the sole role” in solving problems faced by Eurozone nations.

The manifesto adds: “We are ready to gradually develop the Eurozone with the new French government, for example with the creation of a currency fund of their own.”

Such a move would likely be supported by French president Emmanuel Macron, who is desperate for further Eurozone integration.

After being elected in May, the 39-year-old centrist vowed to push for major reforms of the EU “because France needs it”.

German’s Finance Minister last week said there Germany, the EU and the IMF disagreed on whether Greece’s debt was sustainable.

Wolfgang Schaeuble said: “We have all acknowledged that the third Greek bailout payment will be the last with the participation of the IMF.”

He also claimed Greece would be forced to leave the Eurozone before it is offered debt relief.”

    http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/824663/EU-Brexit-Repeal-Bill-Commons-David-Davis-Queen-s-Speech

“BREXIT secretary David Davis has said that legislation regarding the transfer of European Union (EU) laws into British ones should start next week.

Mr Davis told a meeting of Theresa May’s top ministers that legislation for the so-called ‘Repeal Bill’ should be introduced to the House of Commons next week.

A spokesman for the Prime Minister told reporters: “He [Mr Davis] said the legislation, which is the start of the legislative process for Brexit, is expected to be tabled next week.”

A House of Commons spokesman told Express that as yet nothing had been timetabled so far.

The Government says that the ’Repeal Bill’ is designed to achieve a smooth transition over the legal aspects as Britain moves out of the European Union, creating the necessity of transferring the legislation into British statute.

Since Britain has been a member of the EU, or the EEC, for more than 40 years, the UK has created tens of thousands of laws related to the EU that will need unpicking and transferring.

The bill is designed to transpose EU law as well as repealing the 1972 European Communities Act which formalised Britain’s membership of the bloc.

Mrs May has described the bill as an “essential step” in the process of the UK leaving the EU and it was the centrepiece of the Queen’s Speech.

The bill is expected to be a huge undertaking for the Government with a House of Commons library report previously stating that “major swathes of the statute book” would be needed to examine the legislation…”

  22. EU chief says he expects Britain to take part in EU plan to relocate refugees from Africa (express, Jul 4, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/824651/Brexit-news-EU-chief-expects-Britain-take-part-Africa-refugee-scheme

“A TOP eurocrat today said he expects Britain to take part in a proposed EU scheme to relocate genuine refugees from Africa to Europe, which is primarily designed to bring an end to the continent’s growing migration crisis.

EU Commission deputy head Frans Timmermans said he anticipated Westminster green-lighting the voluntary programme because previous UK Governments had championed taking in people in need of international protection straight from refugee camps overseas.

David Cameron pledged to resettle 20,000 Syrian refugees directly from UN-run camps in the Middle East rather than participating in Brussels’ migrant quota system, saying it was a better way of guaranteeing those in genuine peril were helped.

Eurocrats are drawing up plans for their own relocation scheme from countries such as Libya, Ethiopia and Sudan in an attempt to smash the business model of people smugglers ferrying hundreds of thousands of people to Italy.

The programme would be twinned with a Turkey-style migration deal with Libya under which all people crossing the Mediterranean would automatically be sent back, disincentivising them from making the perilous trip.

Mr Timmermans was asked during a press conference in Strasbourg this evening what the scope of the proposal would be in terms of numbers and whether or not he would expect the UK to take part even though it is leaving the EU.

In response the eurocrat declined to go into numbers, saying that was a matter for ministers to discuss, but did stress that any scheme would be carried out in conjunction with the UN to make sure only eligible people were provided with sanctuary.

He said: “I would imagine that the UK would be part of this discussion, especially because resettlement from the very start has been a pivotal element in the British approach to this problem.

“And if we talk about a new resettlement pledging exercise notably from Libya, Egypt, Niger, Ethiopia and Sudan which we can do in conjunction with the UNHCR, this would all meet the requirements the British governments in the past have always set for doing resettlement.

“That you work closely with the UNHCR, you identify the people who would be eligible et cetera, et cetera, and I think this is an exercise we need to do at the European level and I count on solidarity from all member states including the UK.”

During the press conference Mr Timmermans expressed extreme sympathy for Italy, which is currently struggling to cope with 10,000 new arrivals every day, and berated other member states for not coming good on their commitments to relocate migrants.

But he also admitted that the majority of those being rescued at sea are not refugees but economic migrants, and said the only way to regain the trust of European populations and restore their faith in the system for those genuinely needing asylum was to start deporting more people…”

It is currently unclear what has caused the blaze, with flames seen licking the windows of the building as onlookers stared on in horror.

Ambulances and the Metropolitan police are also reportedly on the scene.

A spokeswoman for the London Fire Brigade said: “Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters and officers have been called to a fire at a school on Craven Walk in Hackney this morning.

Parc Safari says it has been the subject of hateful and racist comments since a YouTube video was posted on Sunday showing the prayers.

A woman can be heard shouting, “we are too conciliatory,” while another says she is against prayers in public spaces.

Zoo management says the Muslims respected all the guidelines and would have been expelled had they not.

Parc Safari officials say the zoo is a multicultural location.

It is in Hemmingford, about 70 kilometres south of Montreal.

“Safari Park is sorry that freedom of religion may offend people,” the zoo said in a statement. “In any case, this was not the objective.

“Since last Sunday, Safari Park has been a victim of hate and racist comments. Safari Park is a place where everyone is welcome. A zoological institution is by definition a multicultural place where small and large can discover the wonderful diversity of nature and animals and thus develop affection and respect for this diversity, these differences, and their intrinsic beauty.

“We repeat: Safari Park is a place for everyone, regardless of nationality, religion, colour, culture or sexual orientation.”

People calling for boycott on Parc Safari after it rented a space for Muslim prayer

A wildlife park in Hemmingford is standing by its decision to rent an outdoor space to the Canadian Muslim Association last Sunday.

That after non-Muslim visitors started calling for a boycott of Parc Safari after it rented out the space for Muslim prayers.

On July 2, Parc Safari rented an outdoor area to the association and says they received multiple complaints following the gathering.

Members of the association held a prayer in the outdoor space, fueling the rage of other park visitors.

Following the event, a video was posted on Youtube, sparking calls to boycott the park.

“It’s not only inappropriate but a serious lack of respect towards Quebec and Quebeckers, ” the user who posted the Youtube video wrote.

“Go live your faith in your mosques, outside, no one is interested.”
Parc Safari claims that following the event it received “several heinous and racist comments.”

The park posted a response on Facebook saying they often host corporate groups and this one wasn’t treated any different.

They added the group respected every instruction given.

“Parc Safari is sorry freedom of religion may have offended some. In no case this was the objective,” the park wrote.

People were also complaining that the group’s prayer was broadcast through the park’s speakers.

However the park denies that and says the group brought its own speakers and respected volume restrictions.

“Parc Safari is a place for all, no matter their nationality, religion, colour, culture or sexual orientation. The park will not accept any call to hatred or inappropriate vocabulary on our social media, on the phone nor our site. All heinous messages will be erased from our page.”

Video of people praying during trip to zoo sparks outrage

A video posted online of members of the Canadian Muslim Association praying on the grounds of Parc Safari has sparked outrage from zoo visitors and people on social media.

In a Facebook video posted Sunday, a group of Muslims are seen observing one of five daily calls to prayer while on the grounds of Parc Safari, located in Hemmingford, Que., about 60 kilometres south of Montreal.

The caption on the video stated, in French, “I find it inappropriate that at Parc Safari on a Sunday afternoon we hear prayers on the speakers. Can you just do this in your living room and not impose it on me please!”

By Tuesday, it had been shared more than 1,300 times.

Sorry that freedom of religion offended’

A spokesperson for Parc Safari, Véronique Ranger, said the Canadian Muslim Association followed all the park’s rules.

The group brought its own speakers and was not using the park’s sound system.

Ranger notes that despite the group not soliciting other visitors, not making enough noise to disrupt other guests or animals, and not blocking any paths, some visitors were nonetheless offended.

“Parc Safari is sorry that freedom of religion has offended some people,” Ranger stated.

She added that since the video was posted, the park has fallen victim to racist comments.

On Parc Safari’s Facebook page, people posted that they were disappointed with the park’s decision to allow prayer on its grounds.

“Prayer sites are one thing and attractions are another,” posted Luc Richard.

Another post called for a boycott of the zoo.

“I hope you go bankrupt pure and simple,” wrote Patrice Lafond.

Parc Safari stated in a news release that despite the backlash, the park remains committed to being an inclusive space where everyone is welcome regardless of their religion, nationality, skin colour, culture or sexual orientation.

      • Golly gee, p’raps people have had quite enough of arse-lifting in public places.

By all means, I hope native Canadians will boycott Parc Safari for hosting a bunch of offensive political ideologists who broadcast their dogma in public. Here is a translation of the adhan (call to prayer):

        Allahu Akbar
        God is Great
        (said four times)

Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah
I bear witness that there is no god except the One God.
        (said two times)

        Ashadu anna Muhammadan Rasool Allah
I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God.
        (said two times)

        Hayya ‘ala-s-Salah
Hurry to the prayer (Rise up for prayer)
        (said two times)

        Hayya ‘ala-l-Falah
Hurry to success (Rise up for Salvation)
        (said two times)

        Allahu Akbar
        God is Great
        [said two times]

        La ilaha illa Allah
There is no god except the One God

Maybe people are just plain sick of hearing anybody yell out, “Allahu Akbar!” Especially after having heard that utterance connected to so many mass murders and atrocities. I cannot blame someone if they find hearing just that one phrase to be very stressful. The words, just like Muslims themselves have long-ago worn out their welcome in Western Civilization.

  26. Too many foreigners in France and Islam not compatible, majority of French say (thelocal, Jul 4, 2017)
    https://www.thelocal.fr/20170704/sixty-five-percent-of-french-say-there-are-too-many-foreigners-in-france

“Most French people say there are too many foreigners in France, immigrants do not make an effort to assimilate and Islam is incompatible with the French values.

France’s new president clearly has some healing to do when it comes to two longstanding divisive issues in France.

Immigration and the place of Islam in society, are still very much contentious questions for the French, a new annual survey has revealed.

A poll by the Ipsos institute for Le Monde newspaper has revealed that a majority of 65 percent of French people say there are too many foreigners in France, a figure that has remained elevated in recent years, with the figure as high as 70 percent in 2017.

Another stat demonstrating a majority of French people are uncomfortable with immigration was the 60 percent of people who agreed with the statement: “Today I no longer feel at home like I did before”.

On top of that some 61 percent of French people share the belief that “immigrants in France do not make an effort to integrate”.

Some 46 percent of French people believe it’s not difficult for an immigrant to integrate.

Unsurprisingly the percentages are far higher among those on the far right – 95 percent of National Front voters believe there are too many foreigners in France compared to those on the left (46 percent of Socialists).

When it came to the other ever divisive issue of the role of Islam, 60 percent of the people questioned for the survey titled “French Fractures 2017″, believe the religion of Islam is incompatible with the values of the French Republic”.

In a separate question some 78 percent of French people are of the view that Islam “seeks to impose its way of life on others”.

Regarding radical Islam, 46% of the French polled said that “even if it is not its main message, Islam still contains within it the seeds of violence and intolerance”.

That reflects a jump of five percentage points on last year’s survey.

France has been at the receiving end of a string of Jihadist terror attacks in recent years, including the November 2015 attack at the Bataclan which claimed 150 lives.

The repeated terror attacks, which have exposed the deep insecurity around “l’identité nationale”, have led to demands for foreigners to assimilate, rather than just integrate into the French way of life and culture.

In September 2016, The Local reported that French politicians were aggressively demanding immigrants drop their own identities and assimilate into French culture and way of life.

Rows over the influence of Islam regularly flare up in France, whether its over the wearing of the veil, school dinners for Muslim pupils or most notably the wearing of burkinis on French beaches, an issue which made global headlines last Summer when the swimwear was banned by around 30 French mayors last year.”

  27. Paris: City’s crackdown on dirty streets sees 34,000 fines dished out in six months (thelocal, Jul 4, 2017)
    https://www.thelocal.fr/20170704/paris-citys-crackdown-on-dirty-streets-sees-67-percent-rise-in-fines

“Despite their best efforts (and a new clean-up project) the Paris authorities are still waging a war against “uncivil” Parisians in a bid to clean up the dirty streets.

During the first half of 2017, the Paris authorities handed out a whopping 34,000 fines in its aim to make Paris a model of cleanliness.

These €68 fines are being handed out in greater numbers for “uncivil” behaviour such as tossing cigarette butts, public urination and dumping rubbish around the city.

And a stroll around certain black spots in the French capital quickly reveals why the measures are so necessary.

The sight of rubbish strewn around, waste bins overflowing and scores of cigarette butts thrown on the ground is an eyesore many who live in the city have long complained about. As is the stench of urine, that often pervades corners of many streets, especially after dark…”

  28. Swedish comedian organizes ‘man-free’ rock festival in response to rape reports (thelocal, Jul 4. 2017)
    https://www.thelocal.se/20170704/swedish-comedian-organizes-man-free-rock-festival-in-response-to-rape-reports

“A Swedish comedian is organizing a “man-free” rock festival in response to the reported rapes and sexual assaults at music festivals in the country in recent years.

Emma Knyckare’s idea started with a simple tweet she posted after it emerged that there had been a number of sexual offences reported at the 2017 Bråvalla festival in Norrköping.

“What do you think about putting together a really cool festival where only non-men are welcome, that we’ll run until ALL men have learned how to behave themselves?” she wrote…”

    • Remember that you can assume any “identity” you desire. So if you declare to be of the non-men identity, lets say you declare yourself to be mem or something like that, they must let you in!

    • “A Swedish comedian is organizing a “man-free” rock festival in response to the reported rapes and sexual assaults at music festivals in the country in recent years.

Even if a large number of Swedish males attended, the event most likely still could be classified as being “man-free” anyway. Sigh.

“Man-free” isn’t the solution. MUSLIM-FREE is the only functional answer.

  29. Moroccan-Dutch Ahmed Marcouch Appointed Mayor of Arnhem (moroccoworldnews, Jul 4, 2017)
    https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2017/07/222048/moroccan-dutch-ahmed-marcouch-appointed-mayor-arnhem/

“Moroccan-Dutch Labor Party politician Ahmed Marcouch was announced as the new mayor of Arnhem in eastern Netherlands on Monday night.

The 48-year old will start in his new role on September 1, succeeding Christian Democrat mayor Herman Kaiser who left the role on June 1 due to health issues…”

    • Here’s hoping that, like his predecessor, Ahmed Marcouch experiences some immediate and serious “health issues” as well.

  30. Clapper: North Korea is now a nuclear power

James Clapper, former U.S. director of national intelligence for the Barack Obama administration, said North Korean denuclearization is no longer achievable and that Washington should focus on capping its nuclear and missile capabilities.

Clapper also confirmed, when asked last week in Seoul by reporters from the Korea JoongAng Daily and the JoongAng Ilbo, that this means South Korea and the United States must acknowledge North Korea as a nuclear power.

Clapper, who retired in January after serving six and a half years in his post, said he could attest from first-hand experience in North Korea during his trip there in November 2014 that Pyongyang will not give up its nuclear arsenal.

“Would be nice if they did, would be great if we could figure out some incentive to motivate them to give up their nuclear weapons, but they’re not going to do that,” said Clapper. “That’s their ticket to survival. It’s how they create deterrence against attacks against them, which they are very afraid of, and it’s how they have leverage, how they have face.”

Clapper’s assertion undermines U.S. President Donald Trump’s North Korea policy, which includes not recognizing North Korea as a nuclear state, imposing sanctions, not seeking regime change and resolving the problem with dialogue.

Clapper proposed setting up a diplomatic liaison office in Pyongyang and allowing the regime to set up a similar presence in Washington, or what he calls, an “interest section.” He said he once suggested the idea to the Obama White House but did not specify how the former president responded. The measure, he believes, is the “only path” to a “soft implosion” of the North.

NOTE: Fire this spineless 0bama relic faster than he can blink. Conceding anything to North Korea—except the prospect of permanent defeat and unconditional surrender—is to reward Pyongyang with unmerited respect. It will only further embolden Psycho Fat Boy and contribute to even greater destabilization of the entire region.

    • Talk about a nightmare, following his advice would send every petty dictator in the world on a nuke hunt.

  31. The Capitalist with Little Faith in Capitalism: The enigmatic Bill Gates, the world’s wealthiest man.

Gates has expressed a lack of confidence in capitalism on a number of other occasions as well, such as when he said that “the market does not drive the scientists, the communicators, the thinkers, the government to do the right things.” In a similar vein, in March 2013 Gates told the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Global Grand Challenges Summit that capitalism frequently pursues “priorities [that] are tilted by marketplace imperatives” and thus fail to address the most vital human needs. “The malaria vaccine in humanist terms is the biggest need,” he explained. “But it gets virtually no funding. But if you are working on male baldness or other things you get an order of magnitude more research funding because of the voice in the marketplace than something like malaria.” By Gates’s calculus, governments and philanthropic organizations must intervene to offset this “flaw in the pure capitalistic approach.”

In June 2015, Gates announced that he planned to personally invest $2 billion in renewable technology initiatives over the ensuing five years. Toward that end, in November 2015 he joined the so-called Breakthrough Energy Coalition, which consisted of 28 wealthy investors from 10 countries who pledged to invest a combined $1 billion, to help “bend the curve” on climate change. “People like myself,” Gates said, “who can afford to take big risks with start-up companies, should — because of climate change — be willing to put some number of billions into the spin-offs that will come out of … government-funded activity.”

Immigration policy is another issue of great concern to Gates. In early 2014, he charged that “the injustice” of America’s existing immigration system was “incredible.” In a July 2014 op-ed which he co-authored with Sheldon Adelson and Warren Buffett, Gates claimed that U.S. immigration policy “fails badly” on two major counts: being “humane to immigrants living here,” and “contribut[ing] to the well-being of our citizens.” Advocating amnesty for those who have broken U.S. immigration laws, the op-ed said: “Americans are a forgiving and generous people, and who among us is not happy that their forebears — whatever their motivation or means of entry — made it to our soil?” A good model to emulate, said Gates, would be the “enlightened immigration policies” of Canada.

In February 2014, Gates joined former Washington Post CEO Don Graham in financing a $25 million college scholarship fund for illegal-alien students living in the U.S. as temporary residents under the terms of former President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), an executive action which guaranteed that most DREAM Act-eligible young people would temporarily be granted legal status, work permits, access to certain publicly funded social services, and protection from deportation.

NOTE: Make sure to review the comments for some caustic assessments of Mr. Gates and Microsoft.
