  1. NJ Democratic Strategist Launches #HuntRepublicans and #HuntRepublicanCongressmen

After a shooter in Alexandria left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise in critical condition and wounded four other people, a longtime New Jersey Democratic political strategist responded by introducing the hashtags #HuntRepublicans and #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.

“We are in a war with selfish, foolish & narcissistic rich people,” (Richard: in that case they need to go after the Dems) wrote James Devine on Twitter. “Why is it a shock when things turn violent? #HuntRepublicanCongressmen.”

Devine has run for office, consulted for numerous New Jersey campaigns, and worked in the offices of state lawmakers. He’s also a blogger.

In an interview with MyCentralNewJersey.com, Devine said, “If you want to invite a class war, then you have to expect people to fight back at some point.” The Democratic strategist also wrote on Facebook that he had “little sympathy” for Scalise because of his lack of support for gun control.

Several New Jersey Democrats criticized Devine’s comments and said they did not endorse violence.

But Devine has refused to apologize and has continued using the controversial hashtags.

“I am sorry if my #HuntRepublicanCongressmen hashtag hurt the feelings of any GOP snowflakes but you have not egaged in civil discourse,” (Richard: he means we haven’t shut up and let him do what he wants.) Devine said on Twitter late Thursday afternoon.

In an interview with New Jersey 101.5, Devine admitted his comments were “insensitive.”

“And I don’t care,” he said. “You want me to be politically correct? I don’t have time for that anymore.”

In 2014, Devine was convicted for shoplifting lettuce, protein powder and hair conditioner.

And in 2015, state election officials charged the Democratic strategist with 23 separate election-law violations; the Election Law Enforcement Commission claimed he never reported nearly $79,000 in contributions and more than $70,000 in expenditures involving his Central Jersey Democratic Leadership Committee.

    • I’m unsure as to how much closer things need to get regarding an outright declaration of war (civil or otherwise), but there will not be many more notifications that are any clearer than this one.

While, for many Conservatives, it may be a glimpse of the patently obvious, nothing, again nothing from any (but the most statistically minor) opposition parties during 0bama’s era, remotely approaches this degree of blind, irrational, and overtly illegal hatred or unmistakable threat-to-life-and limb which constantly spews forth from the violent, Antifa Left.

      GOP snowflakes

You’ve got to be flipping kidding me?!? This misappropriation of terminology represents denial at such pathological levels which make that familiar Egyptian river look like a trickle (of camel piss).

    • “little sympathy”… the salient thing about all gun controllers is their propensity to dance on the bodies of crime victims. I wonder what it is about the communist Northeast that gun controllers are elected such that they have an iron grip on the voters? Lots of Jews? Sure. Lots of Black and Hispanic votes? Sure. But why do all those whites, whom gun control propaganda ( “gun violence” aka Felonious Black Gunfire) fall for this stuff?

      • …the salient thing about all gun controllers is their propensity to dance on the bodies of crime victims.

        Well said.

      • As far as I can tell it is because that region was the first settled and the need for firearms for self defense was reduced to non existance a long time ago. The rest of the nation experienced various types of war and the need for self defense, now that the world is once again going into a time when we all need to have the tools necessary for self defense that region is stuck in the meme that you rely on the government. This combined with the way that region has a higher percentage of immigrants from Europe during the peaceful time period the immigrants that were into looking out for themselves moved to the Midwest or the west and the others stayed in place. There are exceptions to the latter statement but over all it is correct. Look at the areas where the the majority of the military recruits come from, they are from the areas where gun control is hitting what you are shooting at.

        • We [Boston] were – and to some extent, still are – segregated.

While there were ethnic enclaves of tough Irish and Italians, we didn’t have the racial thing till much later and much more limited in distribution. The ethnic mobs handled their own communities.

The blacks lived there and that was a contained inner-city within a number of ethnically distinct inner-cities. Who knows what went on there? May as well have been Mali.

  2. GOP Candidate Karen Handel Confirms She Received Package Containing ‘Threatening Letters and a Suspicious Substance

Late Thursday afternoon, Republican Congressional candidate Karen Handel confirmed that she and several neighbors had received packages that “contained threatening letters and a suspicious substance.”

Earlier in the day, police shut down the suburban Atlanta neighborhood where she lives after they were notified that the suspicious packages had arrived in the mail.

Fox News confirmed late Thursday the”incident [is] being investigated by the FBI and other agencies.”

WSB-TV in Atlanta broke the news on Thursday afternoon, reporting that “Authorities were called to the neighborhood where Karen Handel lives in Roswell for the report of a suspicious package Thursday afternoon.”

“Police say Roxburg Drive off Old Alabama Road in the Country Club of Roswell is shut down while crews investigate,” WSB reported.

I am almost too pissed off to talk!
I just went for a crap, now my bathroom window, which was open, faces my local church hall, on summer days you can hear the church bells ring.

  7. Editor-in-Chief and founder of Muslimgirl.com, Amani Al-Khatahtbeh, was on her way to the Cannes Film Fest when a Police Officer (BADGE NUMBER: 1096515) in the airport forcefully asserted that Amani needed to remove her hijab, show her hair, and speak French. Things escalated pretty quickly. Read her detailed Facebook account here. ( link on the page )

We need your help in sending a clear and concise message that the treatment of Amani Al-Khatahtbeh, and the countless other victims of Islamophobia in France, the Unites States, and across the world will not be tolerated. The assumption of control over women’s bodies is a direct violation of human rights. We will not be intimidated or subdued to submission, or threatened by deportation or other acts of state violence, for simply being ourselves.

So far, the response from the French Ambassador to the United States has been beyond shameful:

  8. Swedish Police Attacked By 100 Masked Migrant Youths

Swedish police in the city of Trollhattan were attacked by up to a hundred masked migrant youths armed with sticks and bats during a riot in the Kronogården suburb on Thursday.
The masked migrant youths attacked the officers during the second night of rioting in the area. They also attacked the officer’s vehicles, slashing the tyres of two police cars. Only one man was arrested in connection with the riots, Swedish paper Aftonbladet reports.

The riot is said to have dramatically escalated after several youths attempted to set a tyre on fire in the street and a security guard intervened to put out the fire. The guard was then attacked by the youths who threw stones at him.

Peter Asp, the communications officer for the City of Trollhattan, said the riots were “power struggle for territory in the district” among rival gangs. He claimed that the young men rioting were Somali migrants, while the police have only said the men come originally from an Arabic speaking country.

Police believe that the riots were sparked by an incident earlier in the week, when children were taken away from their parents by protective services. An administrative court ruled that the parents of the children had physically and psychologically assaulted them.

One resident described the riots saying, “they drove a police car and threw stones at it. I’m a little scared, and it’s really hard. I can not sleep at night, that night I slept only three hours.”

Attacks on police in migrant-heavy suburbs have become more and more common in Sweden in recent years. A leaked report earlier this week showed that the number of no-go zones had increased by fifty percent in only two years.

While the report lists 23 official “vulnerable areas” some estimate that there could be as many as 55 no-go zones in Sweden.

Earlier this year Swedish police officer Peter Springare said that migrants were committing a disproportionate amount of crime in problem suburbs. He said that almost all of the serious criminal cases that came across his desk involved migrants; comments that saw him investigated for “racial hatred”, although the charges were later dropped.

  9. Spain: Thousands march in Madrid demanding govt. to welcome more refugees

Thousands marched through the streets of Madrid, Saturday, demanding the Spanish government to welcome more refugees and protesting against European Union’s immigration policies.

Demonstrators marched chanting slogans such as “No human being is illegal”, and holding signs reading “Asylum is a right, not a plea” and “Enough already with the excuses: we want [for refugees to be welcomed].”

Local and international NGO’s took part into the protest, which was held three days before World Refugee Day.

    • Thousands march for refugees, ask Madrid to honour commitment (middleeasteye, Jun 18, 2017)
      http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/thousands-march-refugees-ask-madrid-honour-commitment-1154267040

“Several thousand people marched in Madrid on Saturday to ask the Spanish government to honour its commitment to take in more than 17,000 refugees as part of Europe’s relocation plan.

“No human being is illegal,” the crowds chanted as they walked under scorching heat past clothing shops in central Madrid, holding banners that read “Bridges not walls” and “Enough with excuses, no more barriers”.

The protest, organised by dozens of NGOs including Amnesty International, comes just a few days before World Refugee Day on Tuesday.

It also comes as the deadline nears to relocate 160,000 refugees across Europe under a solidarity plan put in place in 2015 to try to remedy the continent’s biggest-ever migration crisis and ease the burden on frontline states Italy and Greece.

By the start of June, though, fewer than 20,000 refugees had been relocated.

Spain, which had pledged to take in more than 17,300, has so far only welcomed just over 1,300, according to Amnesty.

“Spain is doing absolutely nothing of what it should be doing, it’s a disgrace – Spain and Europe,” said Carlos Diez, a 55-year-old secondary school teacher at the protest.

Also at the march was Christian Lele, a 27-year-old from Cameroon who entered Spain illegally in 2014 by climbing over a border fence between Morocco and the Spanish territory of Melilla, one of only two land borders between Africa and Europe.

“I wanted to study, change my life, help my family,” he said.

“You can’t live well [in Cameroon] with the little they pay you.”

Lele got to Morocco a year after he left his country, by hitching rides across the continent.

Once in Melilla, he was eventually taken to a migrant reception centre in Malaga in southern Spain and was transferred to several others across the country before he got to Madrid.

He trained as a gardener, which is now his job in the Spanish capital.

He said he was on the march in “solidarity” with others who may follow in his footsteps.”

  11. US-designated terrorist claims he survived suicide attack in Syria

Earlier today, Sheikh Abdallah Muhammad al Muhaysini and his social media team claimed via his Telegram channels that he survived a suicide attack after attending Friday prayers at a mosque in Idlib, Syria. An English-language post said that “one of the Khawarij,” meaning an extremist, “blew himself up next to the car of” Muhaysini but he “is fine.” Muhaysini also posted a short video concerning the bombing. A picture of his car can be seen above.

The explosion was independently confirmed by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which reported that it “shook the area of Abu Thar al-Ghafari mosque in the city of Idlib.”

Citing “reliable sources,” SOHR added that “the information about the explosion in the area” is “still conflicted,” as it isn’t clear if it was caused by “a person detonating himself using an explosive belt or by detonating an IED in a vehicle.” Either way, approximately ten people were reportedly injured, some seriously. SOHR also “received information that the explosion targeted a prominent leader in” Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS). This unnamed figure was described as a Saudi, and “one of his escorts” purportedly died in the blast.

SOHR was likely referring to Muhaysini (seen on the right), a Saudi who is also a senior cleric in HTS. In January, several groups announced the creation of HTS. It includes the organization formerly known as Al Nusrah Front, al Qaeda’s branch in Syria. Months earlier, in July, Al Nusrah was rebranded as Jabhat Fath al Sham (JFS), claiming it no longer had any affiliation with “external” (or foreign) parties, an indirect reference to al Qaeda’s senior leadership outside of the country.

Thus far, the identity of the attacker who attempted to kill Muhaysini has not been revealed. But the jihadists in northwestern Syria have suffered from infighting. Some members of another al Qaeda-affiliated group, Jund al Aqsa, turned against their former allies in Idlib last year. Much of Jund al Aqsa, including its top leadership, joined Al Nusrah/JFS. But the remainder of the organization was denounced by Al Nusrah/JFS and perhaps hundreds of its members went rogue, forming Liwa al Aqsa. Since last year, Jund al Aqsa and then its offshoot, Liwa al Aqsa, were repeatedly accused of serving as a conduit for Abu Bakr al Baghdadi’s Islamic State to strike out at its jihadist rivals.

More recently, jihadi ideologues have been engaged in a fierce dispute over HTS and its theological legitimacy.

The dispute pits Sami al Uraydi (Al Nusrah’s former senior sharia official) and Abu Muhammad al Maqdisi (an influential pro-al Qaeda ideologue) against Muhaysini and others. The two sides disagree over a range of issues, including: how HTS should deal with countries such as Qatar and Turkey, both of which have supported the jihad against Bashar al Assad’s regime; whether HTS has remained true to its salafi-jihadist roots or has become “diluted” (as Maqdisi alleges); and also over who should lead the jihad in Syria. There are even allegations, which only emerged earlier this year, that Al Nusrah’s leaders betrayed their oath of allegiance to Ayman al Zawahiri during the organization’s rebranding and merger with other groups. While Al Nusrah’s relaunch as JFS was blessed by Zawahiri’s deputy, other al Qaeda leaders in Syria objected to the move. Two of Zawahiri’s recent messages appear to deal with the terms of the dispute.

While much of this remains to be worked out between the jihadis, there is no question that the disagreements are serious.

Earlier this month, for instance, Muhaysini interviewed a jurist in HTS known as Sheikh Abu al-Farghali. The discussion was aired on Muhaysini’s online program, which is disseminated via social media. (The show was recently praised in Al Masra, a newsletter that acts as a clearinghouse for stories of interest to al Qaeda’s global membership.)

Abu al-Farghali, who spent time in Sudan and his native Egypt before relocating to Syria, warned that the argument between the ideologues over HTS could lead to “fitna,” meaning discord (or strife) in the jihadis’ ranks. Al-Farghali explained that younger fighters, in particular, were easily confused by the disagreement and this distracted from the main war against the Assad regime.

It is not clear who tried to kill Muhaysini earlier today, but there are multiple possibilities.

The Islamic State has assassinated senior jihadists opposed to Abu Bakr al Baghdadi’s self-declared caliphate in the past. In February 2014, an Islamic State suicide bomber killed Abu Khalid al Suri, who served as Zawahiri’s chief representative in the Levant and was a senior figure in Ahrar al Sham. Suri was a fierce opponent of Baghdadi’s nascent state. Muhaysini mourned Suri’s death on his popular Twitter feed at the time, changing his avatar to Suri’s “martyrdom” photo.

Thus far, Muhaysini has escaped Suri’s fate, despite being wounded more than once.

“Your brother is in a good state,” Muhaysini wrote on Telegram after the bombing in Idlib today. “When Allah protects you, the plans of the servants can’t harm you. May Allah reward everyone who asked about us and made Dua for us.” Muhaysni then added: “When Allah is with someone, He never Lets him down.” By that logic, however, Allah has not been with many of al Qaeda’s senior figures, including Abu Khalid al Suri, as well as other affiliated jihadists.

Muhaysini was designated as a terrorist by the US Treasury Department last November. [See FDD’s Long War Journal report, US Treasury designates Saudi jihadist cleric, three others in Syria.]

Before joining HTS this year, Muhaysini claimed to be an “independent” scholar. But Treasury disputed this, saying he “was an accepted member of Al Nusrah Front’s inner leadership circle” as of “late 2015.” Muhaysini has recruited for Nusrah, and also served as its “religious advisor.” He “represented” the group in a “military operations room” in Idlib as of July 2015. FDD’s Long War Journal has repeatedly profiled Muhaysini in the past, pointing out that he has many ties to al Qaeda’s international network.

[…]There is a considerable amount of Controversy surrounding this figure, the reasons why such controversy surrounds him are cited below.

Muhaysini vowed to exterminate Alawite men and wrote that Alawite women could potentially be executed as apostates. Muhaysini demanded the destruction of the Shia village of Al Fu’a if Sunnis in Madaya were not fed, claiming that the starvation would cause the deaths of 40,000 Muslims there. Instructions on treatment of children and women of Alawites were given by Muhaysini on twitter.

Virgins in the afterlife were promised before the battle of Khan Touman to suicide fighters by Muhaysini. Muhaysini visited Turkistan Islamic Party fighters before the battle and performed dua. Khan Tuman in Aleppo then came under attack by the Uyghur Turkistan Islamic Party. A picture of Muhaysini with a Turkistan Islamic Party fighter in Khan Touman was released by the Turkistan Islamic Party after the battle. They displayed weapons and munitions seized during the battle. Corpses of what the TIP labelled as “Rawafid” (Shia) fighters and pictures of “Iranian” prisoners were released by the TIP.]

Virgins whose spit would allegedly sweeten oceans in the afterlife were promised by Muhaysini to fighters before preparing for battle in Aleppo. Muhaysini launched 100 Elephant rockets against Aleppo at the beginning of the attempt to break the siege and thanked Gulf Arab businessmen and Turkey for funding the rockets.

  12. MEMRI TV – “JIHAD WILL CONTINUE UNTIL JUDGMENT DAY” – EGYPTIAN HISTORIAN

Egyptian historian Mohamed Elhamy said that Jihad was established in Islam in order to “transfer the believers from weakness and enslavement to strength and empowerment” and that it would continue until Judgment Day. “The occupiers, the oppressors, and the tyrants are well aware… of the importance of Jihad for the sake of Allah,” he said, speaking on the Turkey-based Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood channel Mekameleen TV on May 27.

Mohamed Elhamy: “Jihad has been established (in Islam), and it will continue until Judgment Day. Jihad was established in order to transfer the believers from weakness and enslavement to strength and empowerment. Truth by itself is weak. It needs force. It was through Jihad that the Muslims transformed from a state of weakness and enslavement in Mecca into power and sovereignty in Medina. Jihad was established also in order to save humanity, in order to save the subjugated and the oppressed. Therefore, Jihad is the enemy of injustice and tyranny.

There is not a single tyrant or oppressor who does not fight the principle of Jihad, just like the occupiers did, when they invaded our countries. They even created Islamic sects and movements that would repudiate Jihad. They tried to secularize Islam, and thus to eliminate the notion of Jihad from Islam, so that the (occupied) countries would stay calm. The occupiers, the oppressors, and the tyrants are well aware – even more than those who are on the side of Truth themselves – of the importance of Jihad for the sake of Allah. They know they cannot subjugate the people unless they remove their (notion) of resistance, and remove the will to wage Jihad for the sake of Allah from the people’s hearts and minds. Through its Jihad, which will continue until Judgement Day, the Islamic nation represents the cultural alternative, and the hope of supporting the subjugated and the oppressed all over the world.”

  13. MoA- Qatar-Saudi Catfight Unveils “Western” Terrorist Propaganda Outlets

The spat between Saudi Arabia and Qatar gives us some amusing entertainment. Both countries spent billions to arm and supply tens of thousands of brutal Takfiris to fight the Syrian government and people. They also spent millions to buy this or that “western” think-tank and/or writer. Now that the two Wahhabi dictatorships are fighting each other they spill the beans over each others nefarious deeds. Various “western” think-tanks and media, who avidly supported al-Qaeda, ISIS and other criminals in Syria, are the well deserved collateral casualties in this fight.

    Here is one example:

Bilal Abdul Kareem? Verified account @BilalKareem
Piece I filmed w/CNN (Undercover in Syria) won Overseas Press Club & Peabody awards but CNN “forgot” to mention me. But I’m smiling!
    4:24 PM – 16 Jun 2017

[…]On October 29, 2014, the Brookings Doha Institute has organized a panel to discuss future of jihadist groups in Iraq and Syria. The session included all of Richard Barrett, first vice president for Soufan group, Charles Lister, visiting fellow at the institute, in addition to one of the fighters from Nusra and one of its media arms, the American Bilal Abdul Kareem, who latter appeared in pictures of him with Al-Qaeda ideologue Muhaysini.
In the panel, Abdulkareem said “forming the Islamic state is the jihadists’ desire.”

What’s interesting here is that Abdulkareem had traveled to Doha for the panel from the Syrian city of Aleppo. He went to Doha although he joined al-Nusra in 2012.

Abdulkareem is described as the extremists’ publicist and his interviews with foreign and Arab fighters in Syria and members of al-Qaeda were always broadcast on Al-Jazeera television channel.

[…]Richard Barrett and especially Charles Lister were his discussion partners – all agreed that “Assad must go” and make room for the al-Qaeda “rebels”. Lister and Barrett are long known to be (well paid) propagandists for the Jihadis. Brooking Institute with its Qatar paid Doha outlet wrote the U.S. strategy for overthrowing (with the help of Jihadis) the Syrian and Iranian governments: WHICH PATH TO PERSIA? Options for a New American – Strategy toward Iran (pdf).

[…]CNN produced the propaganda piece for the “Syrian rebels” aka al-Qaeda with the help of al-Qaeda’s Bilal Abdul Kareem and with Clarissa Ward staring in an al-Qaeda bridal – or a sack. Her sympathies are with the terrorists.

Clarissa Ward spoke at a UN Security Council meeting about Aleppo. She spewed – not astonishingly – pure anti-Syrian propaganda.

The costume show won awards. But CNN never mentioned the help it got from the terrorist organization and its media frontman Bilal Abdul Kareem. Are they ashamed or do their managers fear to be put into jail for evidently supporting a terrorist organization?

[…]But more such dirt will come out in the coming days and weeks as Qatar and Saudi Arabia will continue to accuse each other of supporting terrorism.

  15. Former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl Dies At 87

Helmut Kohl, whose 16 years as German chancellor were highlighted by the unification of East and West Germany in 1989, died Friday at the age of 87.

Kohl’s political party, the Christian Democratic Union, sent a tweet Friday confirming his death. The message simply read, “We mourn. #RIP #HelmutKohl.”
