  1. Long-simmering discord led to The Evergreen State College’s viral moment

At The Evergreen State College, students have disrupted events, charged the school with racism and listed demands ever since the academic year began. Protests finally exploded in late May when students took over an administration building and an anonymous threat shut down the campus.

It has seemed like a textbook case of political correctness run amok: A college professor objects to an event in which organizers ask white students to leave campus for a day as part of an exercise in equity. Some students call the professor a racist. A crowd confronts him and shouts him down.

Because there’s video of the angry confrontation, the issue explodes on social media and in the mass media, and commenters from both left and right excoriate the college for letting students shut down speech they didn’t like.

But the protests at The Evergreen State College in late May didn’t come out of nowhere. Underlying the inflammatory rhetoric has been a year of strife and discord at the state’s smallest public four-year college, a liberal-arts bastion with a counterculture pedigree.

Student protesters have disrupted events, charged the school with racism and listed demands ever since convocation kicked off the academic year in September.

Then, in the incident that went viral, students late last month surrounded and confronted professor Bret Weinstein, who called into question a campuswide equity proposal.

Hundreds took over the administration building and had a tense, testy dialogue with the college’s president, George Bridges, for hours. Campus police waited outside, ready to rush into the building if things became violent.

Many faculty and students — including the protesters — are reluctant to talk about the incident, especially since not long afterward, an anonymous caller phoned in a threat that shut down classes for three days. It’s not known if the call was related to the protests, but it put everyone on edge.

Some faculty members, while disagreeing with the students’ tactics, nevertheless say the college was moving too slowly on equity issues, including diversity training for all faculty.

“The students have been making requests that are pretty reasonable for at least a year and half, in all kinds of polite and civil ways,” said Sarah Eltantawi, a professor of comparative religion.

“Where I think the students erred is that they got fed up, and they put every issue they’ve ever had into one box, and decided they were going to protest,” she said.

But Weinstein, the professor targeted by protesters, thinks the college is headed in the wrong direction.

In an interview Thursday, Weinstein said he opposes the college’s equity emphasis because he believes it will result in a hiring policy that prioritizes skin color over teaching ability. And he says some at Evergreen have leveled charges of racism where he believes none exists.

“When one looks for racism in all things with a confirmation bias, one will find it, even where it is not,” he said.

Classes ended Friday, but it seems unlikely the issues will go away.
Earlier in the week, several students who were writing messages in chalk that encouraged the school to get back to teaching scuffled with other students. Police and college authorities are reviewing the incident, an Evergreen spokesman said.

And 17 students posted a statement disavowing the protesters and their cause, and saying they were appalled by the events.

“A small, vocal, and even violent group of students has been allowed to speak for all Evergreen students in a way that does not align with Evergreen’s core values and founding principles,” the students wrote.

    Simmering tensions
Eltantawi and other faculty members who are willing to talk about the Evergreen situation say racial tensions worsened in Olympia in 2015, after a white Olympia police officer shot two African-American men, leaving one paralyzed. In mid-May, the two were found guilty of assaulting the officer. The officer had already been cleared of wrongdoing.

In the meantime, students have protested at a number of Evergreen events, saying the university is racist.

Along with disrupting the college’s convocation in September, they also protested during a Board of Trustees meeting in November, demonstrated against the swearing-in of a new college police chief, and raised concerns when campus police took two African-American students out of their dorms around midnight in mid-May and alleged they had threatened another student.

In March, Weinstein — a frequent critic of efforts to change the college’s curriculum and address equity — raised concerns about the “Day of Absence,” an annual event organized by the college in which students of color leave campus for a day to discuss issues of race and equity. It is a voluntary event.

This year, in a twist, white students were asked to leave campus.

The “Day of Absence” happened April 12, and about 200 white students — out of an enrollment of about 2,700 whites — gathered at a nearby church to discuss issues of equity. It was followed by a “Day of Presence,” in which students talked about what they’d learned.

On May 23, Weinstein was confronted outside his classroom by at least 50 students, who called him a racist and demanded he be fired. Weinstein said campus police told him it wasn’t safe for him to return to his classroom, although college officials said the police had only said “it might be a good idea for him to stay away from campus for a day or two,” according to Evergreen spokesman Zach Powers.

Shortly after, the college ended up in the national spotlight.

On May 26 on Fox News, under the banner ”Campus Craziness,” political commentator Tucker Carlson interviewed Weinstein and described how Evergreen students “demanded all white students leave the campus or else.

“This whole story is so over the top that, even though we do a lot of these, it’s hard for me to believe it’s real,” Carlson added, as the video of angry students played in the background.

For some, the biology professor became a hero for standing up to intolerant, politically correct millennials quashing free speech on college campuses. But others say Weinstein misled outsiders about what was going on.

“The misunderstanding about the ‘Day of Absence’ is really quite something,” said professor Jon Davies.
“It’s always voluntary, always something people could participate in or not,” he said. “To characterize it as mandated? It’s very hard to mandate anybody to do anything on this campus.”

Bridges and the college’s communications vice president, Sandra Kaiser, said they regret Weinstein left Fox News viewers with the impression that white students were forced to leave.
But Weinstein described “Day of Absence” as coercive.

“We were encouraged by multiple voices not to come to campus … it was coercive in the sense that not showing up to campus was taken to be an indicator of allyship with people of color,” said Weinstein. “By extension, if one did show up, one was not behaving as an ally.”

Bridges, the college president, has supported Weinstein’s right to express his views. “There is this critical issue, folks — it’s freedom of speech,” Bridges said. “Professor Weinstein has the freedom to say what he wants.”

    Social media raises the temperature
Elizabeth Williamson, an English professor, fears the media attention on Evergreen has encouraged “longstanding and newly emboldened alt-right groups who would like to shut down anti-racist work.”

Those groups, she said, are using Evergreen and other liberal-arts colleges “as examples of oppression of white folks. My colleague, unfortunately, has been waving a flag in front of them.”

Weinstein pushed back. “The alt-right hasn’t shown up, and hasn’t hurt people, but our own students have made people feel unsafe,” he said. “If Evergreen is concerned about the safety of all members of our community, it needs to take a look in the mirror.”

Some faculty say the media’s focus on free speech ignores reasonable requests from the students: mandatory training for faculty on equity and cultural competence, equal pay for student employees who work in the diversity office, an examination of whether students of color are treated the same in disciplinary actions. Bridges says he is trying to address those issues.

Evergreen’s professors have an unusual degree of latitude to come up with out-of-the-box courses, and teach with a free hand. For example, Weinstein this quarter is teaching a course called “Hacking Human Nature,” which he described as “a non-utopian vision of a better future.”

Any efforts to balance the staff along racial lines puts that approach in jeopardy, Weinstein said. “In order to find professors who are good at what we Evergreen professors do, we need the largest pool of applicants possible,” he said. “If we are prioritizing race over everything else, we would succeed in finding those unusual professors much less often.”

Some, including Bridges — who himself protested the Vietnam War as a student at the University of Washington — say the campus protests resemble the tense, heated exchanges between students and administrators during the 1960s.

Said Eltantawi, “Students yell and scream and cuss sometimes — that’s been happening since the ’60s.”

But social media and a polarized mass media have ratcheted up the temperature, some faculty say.

“I think the students have learned some humbling lessons about social media, and I’m sorry they had to learn it this way,” said Anne Fischel, a media and community studies professor. “They’re seeing their very passionate efforts being demonized and distorted in ways that are turning out to be dangerous to the institution.”

Although Bridges plans to discipline those responsible for the disruptions, he also believes it’s a tough time to be a minority in America.

Since the election, he said, many students of color are asking whether “society is changing in a radical way that will block me from opportunity.

“I’m not attributing all of it to the election,” he added, “but certainly that’s part of it. Society is increasingly polarized. It is a time of unrest and disruption.”

NR Note: Observe how long it takes this reporter to finally allude to Weinstein’s fundamental opposition regarding segregation. Not that the word “segregation” ever appears EVEN ONCE anywhere in the entire article.

  2. Germany: Migrant Sex Crimes Double in One Year

An annual report — Criminality in the Context of Migration (Kriminalität im Kontext von Zuwanderung) — published by the Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt, BKA) on April 27 revealed an increase of nearly 500% in migrant sex crimes (defined as sexual assaults, rapes and sexual abuse of children) during the past four years.

    https://www.bka.de/SharedDocs/Downloads/DE/Publikationen/JahresberichteUndLagebilder/KriminalitaetImKontextVonZuwanderung/KriminalitaetImKontextVonZuwanderung_2016.html?nn=62336

The report showed that migrants (Zuwanderer, defined as asylum seekers, refugees and illegal immigrants) committed 3,404 sex crimes in 2016 — around nine per day. This was a 102% increase over 2015, when migrants committed 1,683 sex crimes — around five per day. By comparison, migrants committed 949 sex crimes in 2014, around three per day; and 599 sex crimes in 2013, around two per day.

According to the report, the main offenders in 2016 were from: Syria (up 318.7% from 2015); Afghanistan (up 259.3%); Iraq (up 222.7%); Pakistan (up 70.3%); Iran (up 329.7%); Algeria (up 100%); and Morocco (up 115.7%).

Germany’s migrant sex-crime problem is being exacerbated by its lenient legal system, in which offenders receive relatively light sentences, even for serious crimes. In many instances, individuals who are arrested for sex crimes are released after questioning from police. This practice allows criminal suspects to continue committing crimes with virtual impunity.

  3. Hamas says cutting electricity to Gaza would be ‘catastrophic’

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Gaza’s militant Hamas rulers are warning of renewed violence if Israel acquiesces to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’ wishes and reduces electricity to the isolated territory.

Hamas spokesman Abdulatif al-Qanou says Monday Israel’s decision to do so would be “dangerous and catastrophic.”

Gaza’s 2 million residents already get by with only four hours of electricity a day. In an effort to push his Hamas rivals out of power, Abbas says his West Bank government will stop paying Israel to provide electricity.

That has put Israel in the tough spot of having to choose between siding with Hamas in the internal Palestinian struggle or risking a humanitarian crisis in the impoverished coastal strip.

The Haaretz newspaper reports that Israel’s Cabinet decided to cut back supplies but this could not be immediately confirmed.

NR Note: Any notion that Israel has even the slightest “obligation” (humanitarian or otherwise) to supply electrical power or drinking water to the Gaza Strip—much less the West Bank, for that matter—is an affront to anyone with an IQ above room temperature. And I’m measuring this in Celsius!

By the way, what’s this “renewed violence” crap?!? Since when has the genocidal violence of Hamas ever stopped? For those who might be unfamiliar with the Islamic concept of hudna, I refer you to, “‘Hudna:’ Neither a truce nor cease fire“, by David Bedein. Once it becomes clear that Islam brooks no acceptance of—by Western standards—a genuine peace treaty or any permanent cessation of hostilities (i.e., the blasphemous concept of sulch), there emerges a realization that the only option is flat-out annihilation. The only question of merit is: Which side? There is no “middle ground”.

Islam’s opportunistic and preferentially tilted playing field utterly relies upon such unmitigated idiocy as America shipping wheat to its most bitter and ruthless enemies. Just like how Israel continues to provide megawatts of electricity and countless acre-feet of potable water to a group whose central objective is a Judenrein world.

In a rare instance of Islamic candor (a particularly profound oxymoron), Hamas spokesman Abdulatif al-Qanou’s declaration that any decision by Israel to halt electrical grid transmission would be “dangerous and catastrophic”, should have signaled the beginnings of an unconditional surrender. Few people in the West have any comprehension that the “catastrophic danger” is entirely the fate of Hamas.

Instead, with unflagging UN assistance, this genocidal charade continues unabated when the simple flip of a switch circuit breaker could put paid to decades of brutal mayhem and death. Hamas and the “Palestinian” people have struggled valiantly to put their collective @ss in this high tension sling.

The notion that one of this world’s most corrupt, mendacious, violent, and genocidal terrorist organizations dangles from a strand of copper wire—even as they continue to threaten a small nation whose good will they are totally dependent upon—exposes a political farce of monstrous proportions. Long ago, Israel ought to have pulled the plug regarding all connections (electrical or otherwise) with murdering, extortionist scum like Hamas.

  5. North Korea ‘most urgent’ threat to security: Mattis

U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said on Monday that North Korea’s advancing missile and nuclear programs were the “most urgent” threat to national security and that its means to deliver them had increased in speed and scope.

“The regime’s nuclear weapons program is a clear and present danger to all, and the regime’s provocative actions, manifestly illegal under international law, have not abated despite United Nations’ censure and sanctions,” Mattis said in a written statement to the House Armed Services Committee.

“The most urgent and dangerous threat to peace and security is North Korea,” the statement added. “North Korea’s continued pursuit of nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them has increased in pace and scope.”

Earlier this month, the U.N. Security Council expanded targeted sanctions against North Korea after its repeated missile tests, adopting the first such resolution agreed by the United States and China since President Donald Trump took office.

NORTH Korea has threatened to nuke Donald Trump’s home town of New York to silence the President’s ongoing mocking of their missile programme.

  6. Suspected N.Korea drone photographed US missile defense site

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — A suspected North Korean drone photographed a U.S. missile defense system in South Korea before it crashed near the border where it was found last week, Seoul’s Defense Ministry said Tuesday.

The finding came four days after North Korea tested new anti-ship missiles in a continuation of weapons launches that have complicated new South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s push to improve ties frayed over the North’s nuclear ambitions.

Meanwhile, South Korea’s military said a North Korean soldier walked across the heavily mined border between the countries and defected to the South. The Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement that the soldier was being questioned about the reasons for his defection.

The drone was found in a South Korean border town last Friday and South Korean investigators have discovered hundreds of photos in its Sony-made camera, a Defense Ministry official said, requesting anonymity because of department rules.

Ten of the photos were of U.S. missile launchers and a radar system installed in the southeastern town of Seongju earlier this year, while the rest were mostly of residential areas, agricultural fields and other less-sensitive areas in South Korea, the official said.

  7. Are We Nearing Civil War?

President Trump may be chief of state, head of government and commander in chief, but his administration is shot through with disloyalists plotting to bring him down.

We are approaching something of a civil war where the capital city seeks the overthrow of the sovereign and its own restoration.

Thus far, it is a nonviolent struggle, though street clashes between pro- and anti-Trump forces are increasingly marked by fistfights and brawls. Police are having difficulty keeping people apart. A few have been arrested carrying concealed weapons.

That the objective of this city is to bring Trump down via a deep state-media coup is no secret. Few deny it.

Last week, fired Director of the FBI James Comey, a successor to J. Edgar Hoover, admitted under oath that he used a cutout to leak to The New York Times an Oval Office conversation with the president.

Goal: have the Times story trigger the appointment of a special prosecutor to bring down the president.

Comey wanted a special prosecutor to target Trump, despite his knowledge, from his own FBI investigation, that Trump was innocent of the pervasive charge that he colluded with the Kremlin in the hacking of the DNC.

Comey’s deceit was designed to enlist the police powers of the state to bring down his president. And it worked. For the special counsel named, with broad powers to pursue Trump, is Comey’s friend and predecessor at the FBI, Robert Mueller.

As Newt Gingrich said Sunday: “Look at who Mueller’s starting to hire. … (T)hese are people that … look to me like they’re … setting up to go after Trump … including people, by the way, who have been reprimanded for hiding from the defense information into major cases. …

“This is going to be a witch hunt.”

    • The civil war has already started (just as WWIII has started) but most people aren’t willing to admit what is happening. The Propaganda Media are busy being part of the quiet coup attempt and are denying the people the information they need to make informed decisions.

Yesterday at the VA (Coumadin level check Yucki) we talked about WWIII but not the civil war, the majority opion was that it is going to go kinetic sooner then most people expect.

      • OT/ Did you ask for a Palliative Care [aka “Pain Clinic”] referral?
Again, that specialty attracts lots of jerks, but sometimes they come up with useful suggestions.

        • No I haven’t, most of the time I don’t need much pain medication, when the weather settles down I will be alright until it starts changing again. I would just as soon not get to know the people at another specialty clinic. Although I do enjoy having the young female residents in the Dermatology clinic tell me I have nice skin.

            • If you mean not wanting to drive 80 miles several times a week to get to the VA and back you I am one of the bad ones. But like I said most of the time I don’t need more then 2 pain pills a day. There are days when I need more but they are outnumbered by the days when I don’t need a lot of pills.

  8. Hungary approves strict regulations on foreign-funded NGOs (BBC, Jun 13, 2017)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-40258922

“Hungary’s parliament has approved a law imposing strict regulations on foreign-funded non-government organisations.

The new rules increase reporting requirements for the groups, which risk closure for non-compliance.

Critics say the move is a crackdown on independent voices and an attempt to stigmatise the organisations.

Prime Minister Viktor Orban has accused foreign-funded NGOs, in particular those supported by American billionaire George Soros, of domestic interference.

Groups receiving more than €24,000 ($26,000; £21,000) will have to register as “foreign-supported organisation”.

Mr Orban’s government says the measures aim at improving transparency and fighting money laundering and terrorism funding.

But the rules are seen as targeting Hungarian-born Mr Soros, who for decades has given away billions of dollars to promote a liberal, “open society” culture, and has founded the prestigious Central European University.

Mr Soros is seen by Mr Orban as an ideological enemy.

The law, passed by 130 votes to 44, resembles legislation introduced in Russia in 2012 requiring NGOs to call themselves “foreign agents” if they get any foreign funding, which led to a ban on Soros foundations.

Human rights group Amnesty International said the Hungarian law was a “vicious and calculated assault on civil society”, while Human Rights Watch considered it an attempt of “silencing critical voices in society”.”

“A mass food poisoning at a camp for displaced people near the northern city of Mosul has killed at least two and sickened hundreds, Iraq’s health minister said on Tuesday.

Adila Hamoud, the minister, told The Associated Press in Baghdad that 752 people took ill after a meal the previous evening at the Hassan Sham U2 camp, located about 20 kilometers (13 miles) east of Mosul.

The food, provided by a non-governmental organization, was meant for an iftar, a meal with which Muslims break their dawn-to-dusk fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. Hamoud said a woman and a girl died while at least 300 people remain in critical condition.

    https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20170613-iran-has-proof-of-saudi-support-for-daesh-attacks-in-tehran/

“The Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, has confirmed that Iran has accurate information regarding Saudi Arabia’s support for the attacks by Daesh militants in Tehran on 7 June.

“The United States and the Israeli regime backed the Daesh terrorists who carried out dual attacks on Iran’s parliament and Imam Khomeini’s shrine,” Jafari told the media. “We have obtained accurate intelligence that Saudi Arabia also supported the terrorists and asked them to carry out attacks in Iran.”

Daesh militants carried out two terrorist attacks in Tehran last Wednesday. Seventeen people were killed, and more than 50 others were wounded.

The Revolutionary Guard Corps has vowed to seek revenge against the terrorists who shook Tehran. The fingers of blame were pointed at Saudi Arabia and the US, who were accused of being behind the attacks.

Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman accused Iran last month of having the objective of wresting control of Makkah from the kingdom. “We won’t wait for the battle to be in Saudi Arabia,” he told journalists. “Instead, we will work so that the battle is for them in Iran, not in Saudi Arabia.””

  12. Ramadan in Yemen: The bloodshed continues (alaraby, Jun 13, 2017)
    https://www.alaraby.co.uk/english/comment/2017/6/13/ramadan-in-yemen-the-bloodshed-continues

“Yemen is at war, and Ramadan this year will not pass without bloodshed. For three consecutive years now, Yemeni citizens have endured a Ramadan devoid of joy or peace.

Just a week into the holy month, a bomb went off at a market in northern Yemen, killing and wounding at least 20 civilians who were out food shopping, or running their businesses.

The month of Ramadan is intended to be a time for spirituality, repentance and the attainment of God’s grace and mercy. Sadly, the conflicting rivals in Yemen display no reverence for Ramadan, or for human life.

As a Muslim country, the people of Yemen cherish this month and all those capable of fasting do so. The fighters on the front lines also fast in Yemen. They refrain from food and water in obedience to God, yet they engage in bloodshed in obedience to their commanders.

Since the beginning of this holy month, the fighting on numerous front lines has intensified, and the number of lives lost continues to accumulate.

Common sense appears to have vanished from the country’s leaders, intolerance is engulfing society and the thirst for revenge is spreading like wildfire. The Ramadan atrocities stand as a solid proof. Last week, armed confrontations also killed dozens of fighters in Taiz from both sides.”

  13. US nurtured Al-Qaeda & supported terrorists in Chechnya – Putin (RT, Jun 13, 2017)
    https://www.rt.com/news/392022-putin-stone-us-alqaeda-chechnya/

“The US is to blame for the rise of Al-Qaeda and its late mastermind Osama bin Laden, which it empowered to fight Soviet troops in Afghanistan, Vladimir Putin told Oliver Stone. Putin also said there is proof the CIA supported terrorists in Russia’s Chechnya.

In the first episode of Stone’s hugely anticipated Showtime series, which aired Monday night, the Russian leader reflected on the origin of Islamic extremist groups, including Al-Qaeda.

“Al-Qaeda is not the result of our activities. This is the result of activities of our US friends. This all started in the times of the Soviet war in Afghanistan, when the US security services supported different movements of Islamic fundamentalism in their struggle against the Soviet troops in Afghanistan,” Putin told Stone, adding that the “US side has nurtured both Al-Qaeda and [Osama] bin Laden.”

Washington should have foreseen that backing Islamists will backfire, with extremists eventually getting out of control.

“It always happens like this. Our US partners should have been aware of it. It is their fault,” Putin said.

Nevertheless, Moscow stood by the US’s side after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, claimed by Al-Qaeda. In a show of solidarity with Washington, Moscow decided to scrap the scheduled war games following the attack, Putin revealed to Stone.

“In these kind of situations the first persons are in need of moral and political support. We wanted to show that kind of support,” the Russian leader said…”

    https://www.rt.com/news/392016-iran-khamenei-us-isis-fight-lie/

“Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has claimed Washington is lying about fighting terrorism in the Middle East, saying US activity has instead given rise to Islamic State. Tehran’s foreign minister says the US has not honored the nuclear deal.

“You [the United States] and your agents are the source of instability in the Middle East… Who created Islamic State? America … America’s claim of fighting against Islamic State is a lie,” said Khamenei, the hardline Iranian leader known for his sharp anti-American rhetoric, addressing senior Iranian officials on Monday.

Weighing on the chances of Iran-US relations improving, Khamenei said there was hardly any room for rapprochement, arguing that Washington is against the very idea of “an independent Iran,” Reuters reported.

“America is a terrorist country and backs terrorism… therefore, we cannot normalize ties with such a country,” Khamenei said.

It comes as relations between Tehran and Washington have grown increasingly strained, most recently overshadowed by a string of allegations made by a number of high-ranking Iranian officials claiming the US had forged an alliance with Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL)…”

“A female police officer sustained a “life-threatening head injury” and two more people were lightly injured in a shootout at a train station in Munich, Germany. The suspect, also injured, has been detained.

According to a police statement, officers have been called in to the station over reports of a brawl on a commuter train. Upon arrival, police had an argument with one of the persons involved in the brawl, who “according to the preliminary information pushed one of the officers on to the tracks.”

The person in question then managed to grab the police officer’s gun. In an ensuing shootout, a policewoman has been shot in the head, with the injury appearing to be “life-threatening,” according to the statement…”

Police officers report that the shooter has been arrested, after they shot and injured him. At least two others were also injured during the attack and are being treated in hospital.

It is believed that the incident occurred during a routine police check.

Security forces have since secured the area. Investigations are underway; however police believe it is not terror-related.

  16. 8 more areas in Sweden added to list of so-called ‘no-go zones’ (RT, Jun 13, 2017)
    https://www.rt.com/news/392009-eight-hoods-added-sweden-no-go-zone/

“A new report from the Swedish police lists eight additional areas as being “especially vulnerable,” where it is more difficult for law enforcement and other emergency services to do their job.

In 2015, the Swedish police released a report describing 53 districts throughout the country as “vulnerable,” and 15 listed as “especially vulnerable.” Vulnerable areas are described as having high rates of crime and poverty where police face unique challenges and have to adapt their approach. These neighborhoods may also host violent religious extremism, and locals don’t report crime to police for fear of retribution.

The new report, which has not yet been made public but was seen by journalists from the newspaper DN, adds eight more areas to the list, raising the number to 23.

These new areas are in the cities of Boras, Gothenburg, Landskrona, Malmö, Uppsala and in the capital, Stockholm.

According to Linda Staaf, head of the national police NOA’s intelligence department, these areas should have been classified as “especially vulnerable” earlier, but there was not enough information on them available.

“In comparison to the last report we now have more knowledge and a better picture,” she told DN.

Police have asked for more resources in dealing with these troubled neighborhoods…”

Special counsel’s team includes former Clinton Foundation lawyer, contributors to Obama, Hillary, more

by Brendan Kirby | Updated 13 Jun 2017 at 9:45 AM

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich sparked a mini-meltdown in the media Monday with a tweet challenging the fairness of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Gingrich, who also appeared on “The Laura Ingraham Show, ointed to the early hires special counsel Robert Mueller has made.

“Republicans are delusional if they think the special counsel is going to be fair,” he tweeted. “Look who he is hiring.check fec [sic] reports. Time to rethink.”

    • Newt Gingrich calls on Congress to abolish special counsel, says Robert Mueller not neutral
By LU Staff June 12, 2017

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich called on Congress to stop special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

Gingrich said it’s clear that former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will interfere with Mueller’s ability to conduct a fair investigation.

“It’s very clear that Comey hates Trump,” Gingrich told radio host John Catsimatidis, according to The Hill. “Comey is clearly extraordinarily hostile to Trump.”

According to Gingrich, lawmakers should take action to stop the independent investigation from moving forward.

“I think Congress should now intervene, and they should abolish the independent counsel because Comey makes so clear that it’s the poison fruit of a deliberate manipulation by the FBI director leaking to The New York Times, deliberately set up this particular situation,” he continued. “It’s very sick.”

Gingrich doubled down on his comments during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” saying the allegations against President Donald Trump are unwarranted attacks.

“I think this — this is going to be a witch hunt. I think that Comey himself, by his own testimony, tainted this particular process,” he said. “You have a director of the FBI deliberately leaking in order to create a special counsel, who we’re now supposed to believe is going to be this neutral figure. I think that’s just nonsense.”

    • Congressional Hearings and Witch-Hunts
The show’s over, now get to work.
      June 13, 2017
      Bruce Thornton

America’s longest running soap opera is not General Hospital. It’s the Congressional Hearing, usually a venue for pontificating, show-boating, histrionics, preening for the cameras, insulting political enemies, and accomplishing little of value. Meanwhile the real work of the Republic either gets neglected or proceeds in silence at a glacial pace.

James Comey was the star of last week’s latest episode of the eternal DC soap. The one-time FBI director stayed true to his character, preening morally, striking Boy Scout poses, indulging faux-folksy interjections like “Lordy,” pretending to be sober and judicious, but all the while revealing the instincts of a bureaucratic cartel sicaria. He was obviously thirsting for revenge against the hated DC outsider and “liar” who unceremoniously fired him, so much so that he admitted to cowardice on multiple occasions, from failing to immediately confront Trump over his supposed sinister “direction” (Comey’s translation of Trump’s “hope”) that Mike Flynn get let off the hook; to his groveling obedience to AG Loretta Lynch’s politicized, justice-obstructing order to call the investigation into Hillary Clinton a “matter.” He displayed a brazen arrogance in admitting to leaking a memo, written in his professional capacity, to the New York Times through a cut-out, perhaps one of numerous other leaks emanating from this self-proclaimed pillar of professional rectitude even before he was fired.

So we got a few more details about a man we already knew was a publicity hound and power -hungry operator. But that portrait was painted back in July of last year, when Comey publicly laid out the predicates for an indictment of Hillary Clinton, then usurped the authority of the AG to let Hillary (and Loretta “Tarmac” Lynch) off the hook based on a legally irrelevant consideration of “intent.” The only thing interesting last week was watching how far Comey would debase himself to square the many duplicitous circles he had spun over the last few years.

  18. James Comey Admits to Being Washington Leaker…Only What Would Hurt President Trump

In testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, fired F.B.I. Director James Comey admitted that he was one of the Washington leakers that have wreaked havoc in the capital. But it is clear he did not leak all he knew — only what he thought would hurt President Donald Trump.

During his testimony, Comey admitted to attempting to influence Congress to appoint a special counsel to investigate accusations that President Trump colluded with Russian agents to affect the 2016 election. Comey said that he secretly sent his “memos” to “a friend” to leak to the press to force Congress to appoint a special counsel for the investigation.

The memos were accounts of meetings with Trump that otherwise would have no such record. Comey then leaked them to his “friend” — after he was fired as F.B.I. chief.

“I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter,” Comey said during his testimony on Thursday. “I didn’t do it myself for a variety of reasons, but I asked him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel.”

Comey’s admission means we can put his name on any list of those leaking inside government information to the press in a capital already leaking like a sieve.

    • Fox has an article on did Comey leak more at other times but so many people are trying to read the article I can’t get in.

    • Here it is

Comey admitted single Trump leak, but were there others?

President Trump’s legal team may be prepared to show a trail of leaks to The New York Times by former FBI Director James Comey – dating back to at least March – in a pair of complaints set to be filed to the Justice Department inspector general and Senate Judiciary Committee, a source close to the team told Fox News.

An independent Fox News review of The New York Times’ reporting dating back to January reveals a host of stories sourced from top FBI and DOJ officials – or those privy to their conversations – that either paint Comey in a positive light or push a message he was unable to personally disclose.

Though Comey told the Senate Judiciary Committee on May 3 he’d never been — or directed another FBI official to be — an anonymous source for news reports about the Trump and Hillary Clinton investigations, the then-FBI chief did not deny orchestrating leaks using, for instance, an old friend who works at Columbia University, or providing the information to a wide enough group to ensure it would leak.

  19. Hungarian Government: Islam and Europe ‘Incapable of Coexisting Without Conflict’ (breitbart, Jun 13, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/06/13/hungarian-government-islam-and-europe-incapable-of-coexisting-without-conflict/

“Threatened with sanctions for refusing to accept the compulsory migrant quotas being imposed on European Union member-states by Brussels, the Hungarian government has declared that Islam and Europe “are incapable of coexisting without conflict”.

Zoltán Balog, the Central European country’s Minister for Human Capacities, branded the European Commission which leads the bloc as “helpless, bewildered and weak” in the face of the migrant crisis. Mr. Balog added the bloc was incapable of providing a solution and resentful of the fact that Hungary, Poland, and now the Czech Republic, have found one in the form of robust border controls.

“Islam is a major culture and religion,” Balog explained, “but Europe has a different identity, and it is clear that these two cultures are incapable of coexisting without conflict.”

The multilingual graduate theologian believes that “The greatest difference is that in Europe, politics and religion have been separated from one another, but in the case of Islam it is religion that determines politics.”…”

    http://www.breitbart.com/jerusalem/2017/06/13/london-mayor-khan-looks-israel-counter-terrorism-advice/

“Few countries in the world have as much experience as Israel when it comes to countering terrorist attacks, a fact acknowledged by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. The capital’s leader has revealed he sought advice from Israel on how to counter urban terrorism of the kind that has blighted Manchester and London in recent months.

In an interview published by Jewish News, Mr. Khan said that both his office and Metropolitan Police assistant commissioner Mark Rowley, the head of national counter-terrorism policing, have been in touch with officials in the Jewish state.

Mr. Khan acknowledged both he and his colleagues had learned “lots of things, things like putting in place the barriers we have done in London. There are other things and we are using the advice we receive.

“Just like the terrorists evolve, we have to find new ways to protect ourselves,” he added before revealing police visit Israel and are in regular touch with their contacts…”

  21. Lauded to loathed: Who’s afraid of George Soros?

The world has a new puppetmaster.

From his New York home, US financier-cum-philanthropist George Soros has manufactured Europe’s migration crisis, backed a coup in Macedonia and sponsored protests in Hungary.

At least that’s what his detractors say, and there are many.

From the Kremlin via Skopje to the power corridors of Washington, the Hungarian-born Jewish emigre is the favourite bete noire of nationalists around the globe.

Listed by Forbes magazine as the world’s 29th richest man, Soros and his Open Society Foundations (OSF) stand accused of political meddling by seeking to push a liberal, multicultural agenda.

Nations like Poland that once bestowed the 86-year-old with their highest civilian honours are now calling him an enemy of the state who wants to destroy their sovereignty.

  22. Stricter Border Controls Halve Asylum Seeker Applications in Austria (breitbart, Jun 13, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/06/13/stricter-border-controls-austria-halve-asylum-seekers/

“Austria has seen a 53 per cent decrease in the number of migrants applying for asylum over the past year after strengthening border controls.

The central European country has seen a significant drop in asylum applications over the past year. In 2016, from January to May, there were 22,419 requests for asylum. During the same period this year, the number has fallen to 10,520 following the toughened border security with Italy which has impacted the movement of migrants crossing the Mediterranean, Kronen Zeitung reports.

If the numbers remain at the same pace for the rest of the year, Austria would expect around 26,000 new asylum applications for 2017. The number would mark a significant difference from last year’s 36,030, which came close to the upper limit of 37,500 set by the government, and the record 90,000 applications in 2015.

Whilst the number has gone down, largely due to border security, it is not as low as what several Austrian political parties would prefer. Earlier this year, the conservative Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP) said the migrant upper limit should be reduced to 17,000, whilst the anti-mass migration Freedom Party (FPÖ) said it should be reduced to zero…”

    http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-mideast-crisis-syria-army-idUKKBN1941RD

“The Syrian army has made a sudden advance against Islamic State in the desert area west of Raqqa, a military media unit run by its ally Hezbollah said on Tuesday.

Syria’s vast deserts have become the main theatre of war in recent weeks as rival forces race to capture ground from the jihadist group, which is slowly retreating on several fronts.

The area between Ithriya and Tabqa, west of Islamic State’s de facto Syrian capital Raqqa, is important for the army since it can be used to attack government-held towns and supply routes.

According to the Hezbollah military media unit, the army has punched southwards to the Ithriya-Tabqa highway, a distance of about 20 miles (32 km) from its positions south of Maskaneh.

The road was used by Islamic State to attack positions along the government’s main supply route to Aleppo near Ithriya, and, if fully captured, would help the army advance into the desert.

It captured the villages of Rajm Askar, Bir Inbaj, Zahar Um Baj, Jab Aziz, Jab al-Ghanem, Abu Sousa and Jab Abyad from the jihadist group, the media unit said…”

  24. Basically, entire D.C. leadership has known for weeks Trump wasn’t under investigation
    By J.E. Dyer June 13, 2017

Remember when James Comey testified last week that, “in the main,” a New York Times article from February 2017, asserting that the Trump campaign had “repeated contacts with Russians,” was “not true”?

Comey’s comment on that probably didn’t come as a big surprise to most viewers. But his editorial aside was arresting:

The challenge — and I’m not picking on reporters — about writing on classified information is the people talking about it often don’t really know what’s going on and those of us who know what’s going on are not talking about it, and we don’t call the press to say, “Hey, you got that thing wrong about this sensitive topic.”

    So, to be clear:

“We don’t call the press to say, Hey, you got that thing wrong.”

Everyone understands that, I imagine. Not the FBI’s job to run around with a mop and spray cleaner after the New York Times.

Report: Comey confronted Loretta Lynch directly, accused her of trying to protect Hillary
By Jeff Dunetz June 13, 2017

Circa is reporting that one of the items James Comey shared in Congress in closed session last week was his confrontation with Attorney General Loretta Lynch about her possible political interference with the Hillary Clinton investigation. Comey even showed Lynch a sensitive document claiming the AG was about to tank the investigation, according to sources who were directly briefed on the testimony.

This confrontation was not related to the one Comey discussed in the public hearing last week where Lynch ordered the FBI Director not to refer to the probe about Clinton’s handling of classified emails as an “investigation” but instead to use the Clinton campaign language and call it a “matter.”

“That concerned me because that language tracked the way the campaign was talking about the FBI’s work and that’s concerning,” Comey testified.

This second confrontation occurred just before Comey’s speech in which he basically said Clinton was guilty but that she wouldn’t be charged.

  26. Showtime for Putin and Oliver
Stone makes the Russian strongman a star, casts USA as the villain.

While Democrats and their media allies demonize Vladimir Putin, and anybody who might have talked to him, filmmaker Oliver Stone has been hanging out with the Russian strongman. “The Putin Interviews,” Stone’s four-part series, launched on Monday and according to Showtime:

“Oliver Stone was granted unprecedented access to Russian president Vladimir Putin during more than a dozen interviews over two years, with no topics off-limits. This remarkable four-part documentary series provides intimate insight into Putin’s personal and professional lives, from his childhood under communism, to his rise in power, his relations with four U.S. presidents and his surprising takes on U.S.-Russian relations today. Witness the most detailed portrait of Putin ever granted to a Western interviewer.”

Showtime compares “The Putin Interviews” to David Frost’s interview of Richard Nixon in 1977. The documentary emerges amidst accusations of Russian meddling in the 2016 election, but Oliver Stone surprisingly refutes those claims.

“That’s a path that leads nowhere to my mind,” Stone told Gary Maddox of the Sidney Morning Herald. “That’s an internal war of politics in the U.S. in which the Democratic party has taken a suicide pact or something to blow him up; in other words, to completely de-legitimize him and in so doing blow up the U.S. essentially.” And for the director of the conspiratorial JFK, “What they’re doing is destroying the trust that exists between people and government. It’s a very dangerous position to make accusations you cannot prove.”

  27. ISIS Burns 19 Yazidi Girls To Death in Cages For Refusing Sex Slavery
Don’t count on an American feminist march.
    June 13, 2017
    Joseph Klein

ISIS is Sharia-compliant in the most literal sense. Its fighters are following the example of Muhammad himself, the warrior prophet of Islam who captured slaves in battle and had sex with them. As the prophet was entitled to take advantage of such fruits of battle according to the Koran, so ISIS believes its fighters are entitled as well. Thus, these savages thought nothing of burning 19 Yazidi girls to death in iron cages after the girls had the temerity to resist having sex with their captors. This atrocity was said by local activists to have taken place recently in the Iraqi city of Mosul, which has currently become a battlefield between ISIS fighters and anti-ISIS coalition forces. An eyewitness reported that the burnings took place in front of hundreds of people.

“O Prophet!” the Koran (33:50) instructs Muhammad, in the “words” of Allah, “Verily, We have made lawful to you your wives, to whom you have paid their Mahr (bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage), and those whom your right hand possesses – whom Allah has given to you.” The latter bounty from Allah refers to the females taken captive in battle and enslaved.

In an article entitled “ISIS Enshrines a Theology of Rape,” the New York Times reported on the religious sources ISIS fighters have used to justify their rapes of their female slaves. They believe that having sex with their infidel slaves, including with young girls, actually brings them closer to Allah. Indeed, they would pray before and after they raped their victims.

  28. German Tabloid Bild Broadcasts Controversial Antisemitism Documentary Rejected by European TV Station

The German tabloid newspaper Bild has broadcast a controversial documentary on antisemitism among European Muslims after its airing was canceled by the French-German television station Arte — which originally commissioned the film.

The documentary was uploaded to Bild‘s website on Tuesday under the headline “Jew-Hatred: Bild Shows the Documentary Which Arte Won’t.”

Last week, Arte decided to cancel its showing of the film “Chosen and Excluded — The Hate for Jews in Europe,” claiming that the final version of the documentary did not conform to the remit agreed with its producers when it was commissioned.

Well we didn’t really expect NBC to include the full interview as part of their programming, however the organisation had edited out some key hard truths on behalf of President Putin. He points out the fact that it is the US that meddles in every countries’ election processes and asks what moral reason does the US have to “teach Russia how to live?” Megyn Kelly herself comes to a certain realisation – having strolled St Petersburg over several days, she notes that Russians in general like and respect their President, which is a far cry from the way he is depicted in US mainstream media.

  31. Populist party splits in two to save Finnish coalition (abcnews, Jun 13, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/finnish-pm-starts-talks-secessionists-stay-power-48004218

“The populist, euroskeptic party in Finland’s three-party government broke in two Tuesday, days after its election of a new leader threatened to spell the end of the coalition.

Some 20 lawmakers – nearly half of The Finns’ members in Parliament – left the party and recreated themselves as the New Alternative group. They included Foreign Minister Timo Soini, who stepped down at the weekend after 20 years as party leader.

The election of Jussi Halla-aho to replace Soini at the head of Finland’s second-largest party had threatened to sound the death knell for the coalition, with other party leaders saying they would not be able to work with Halla-aho, who has been convicted of hate speech for anti-Islamic and anti-Somali comments on his blog.

Prime Minister Juha Sipila said he would now include the New Alternative group in the coalition. The move enables Sipila’s government to carry on, as it will command at least 106 seats in the 200-seat Parliament. The breakaway faction immediately promised to commit itself to the government program, including EU and immigration issues…”

  32. EU warns 3 countries of legal action over refugee plan (abcnews, Jun 13, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/eu-launch-action-countries-refugee-plan-48004962

“The European Union warned the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland on Tuesday that they have 24 hours to start taking in refugees under an EU migrant sharing plan or face legal action.

But the three countries immediately rebuffed the threat and appeared ready to go to court.

The European Commission said in a statement that it has repeatedly urged them to relocate refugees or at least pledge to do so under the legally-binding refugee plan agreed two years ago.

But it said they have failed to take action “in breach of their legal obligations,” and that it “has decided to launch infringement procedures.”

The plan to share 160,000 refugees in overwhelmed Italy and Greece among other European countries over two years was endorsed in September 2015 by a qualified majority vote.

It was seen as a major plank of the EU’s migration policy, and was lauded as a pan-European show of solidarity in 2015 when more than a million people arrived in Europe seeking sanctuary or jobs.

But just three months before the September 2017 deadline, fewer than 21,000 people have been relocated. It’s unlikely that even a quarter of the refugees originally foreseen under the plan will be moved by then.

The Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia voted against the scheme. Hungary and Slovakia had previously launched their own legal action against it.

EU Migration Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos said the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland have until Wednesday to change their minds.

“There is still time ahead. Let’s hope that not only reason but also the European spirit will prevail,” Avramopoulos told reporters, lamenting that the three “have not done anything for more than one year.”

But Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said his country is not ready to change its view of the migrant sharing plan.

Sobotka said in a statement that “the Czech Republic doesn’t agree with the relocation system based on migrant quotas. And given the worsened security situation in Europe and also that the quota system is not functioning, it won’t participate in it.”

He said his government was ready to “defend our view at the EU level and at the relevant court institutions.”

The Czech Republic was supposed to accept some 2,600 refugees but so far has taken only 12, all of them from Greece.

Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Konrad Szymanski said “Poland is ready to defend its standpoint before the Court of Justice.”

He warned that the Commission’s action “may deepen the divisions within the EU.”

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said his government considers the infringement procedures to be “blackmail and un-European behavior.”

Speaking in parliament ahead of the warning, Szijjarto repeated the government position that even the European Commission cannot take away the member states’ right to decide who it wants to let into their country.

The executive Commission is watchdog over the EU’s treaties and enforces agreements made between the 28 member states.

Avramopoulos praised Austria and Slovakia for recently pledging to do more. But as of June 9, Austria had still not relocated a single refugee. Slovakia had taken in 16.

Germany, France, the Netherlands and Finland have so far been the countries taking in the largest number of refugees — Germany received more than 5,600, France around 3,500.

Rights group Amnesty International said it hopes the Commission action will spur others to do more.

Amnesty’s European office director Iverna McGowan said the move “makes it clear that countries will not be allowed to get away with dragging their feet to avoid accepting refugees. Solidarity is the key to a fair and humane response to refugees in Europe.””

  33. Warsaw Muslims call off event following far-right threats (abcnews, Jun 13, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/warsaw-muslims-call-off-event-threats-48005762

“The Muslim community in Warsaw canceled a public event Tuesday aimed at countering stereotypes about Islam after receiving threats from far-right nationalists.

A Muslim community leader, Ahmad Alattal, said hateful comments were made online about an open house planned at the Muslim Cultural Center, including a call to not visit the place but “burn it.” Though the community has grown used to such comments, it canceled the event for the safety of the many schoolchildren that had planned to attend, he said.

The development comes amid rising animosity toward Muslims in largely Catholic Poland, an issue adding to tensions between Warsaw and the European Union. On Tuesday the European Commission threatened legal action against Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic for failing to accept refugees as part of a legally binding EU plan.

Poland’s government says it would rather face a court and fines than accept Muslim refugees, whom it frequently describes as potential terrorist threats.

Poland’s previous, pro-EU government had agreed to take several thousand refugees as part of the plan, but the nationalistic and euroskeptic Law and Justice party canceled those pledges after taking power in 2015, citing the repeated extremist attacks in Western Europe.

Interior Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said taking even a few thousand would endanger Poland in the future.

“After a few years in this community there would be tens of thousands, then hundreds of thousands and then a few million. These communities form closed enclaves that give support to terrorists,” Blaszczak said in an interview on Radio Zet on Tuesday.

He also derided attempts by Western European leaders to develop ways to integrate Muslim youths to prevent radicalization.

“Such a conception arose 2,000 years ago and it’s called Christianity,” Blaszczak said.

At the Muslim community center, a few people showed up in the afternoon, unaware the event had been canceled.

“We are not a danger — I promise,” one teenage girl joked when told of the threats that prompted the cancellation.

Alattal said Poland’s tiny Muslim community, which he put at about 35,000, has felt much more vulnerable under the current government due to its anti-Muslim and anti-refugee rhetoric, saying that has emboldened the extremists who post hateful comments online.

“We have to accept that the ruling party doesn’t want refugees — with pain because we are all people of this earth and they deserve help — but they won elections on that promise,” he said. “But they should not use the issue as a political tool, waging a witch hunt against Muslims when there aren’t even any refugees in the country.””

  34. Germany: 6 migrants convicted over attack on homeless man (abcnews, Jun 13, 2017)
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/germany-migrants-convicted-attack-homeless-man-48004006

“A Berlin court has rejected attempted murder charges against six young migrants who set a fire as a homeless man slept in a subway station at Christmas, convicting them on lesser charges in a case that drew intense public scrutiny.

Most of the defendants, who were from Syria and Libya and aged between 15 and 21, turned themselves in after authorities released surveillance camera footage of them. Passers-by extinguished the fire before it could spread. The victim was unhurt.

The Berlin state court on Tuesday convicted the oldest suspect of attempted bodily harm and sentenced him to 2 years and 9 months in prison.

Three teenage suspects were convicted as accessories and given eight-month suspended sentences. Another two were given four weeks’ youth detention for failing to help the victim.”

  35. Leaked Report: Sweden Sees More Than 50 Per Cent Rise in ‘No-Go Zones’ (breitbart, Jun 13, 2017)
    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/06/13/sweden-50-per-cent-rise-no-go-zones/

“The number of areas classed as “vulnerable” by Swedish police has risen from 15 to 23 in two years, according to leaked documents held back from release by Sweden’s national police chief.

Police hoped that increased resources would have reduced the number of “vulnerable” areas — typically migrant-dominated neighbourhoods which have been turned into virtual no-go zones as a result of rampant drug trafficking, gang crime, and religious extremism.

But the classified report, which was produced by the intelligence department of Sweden’s National Operations Department (NOA) and has been seen by Dagens Nyheter, showed that law enforcement has been helpless to halt the spread of criminality and extremism.

Police forces “find it difficult to carry out [their] mission” in neighbourhoods classed as “vulnerable”, according to NOA’s research, for a number of reasons which include “an unwillingness of the population to participate in legal proceedings”.

Local media reported that the Police Board intended to publish the updated list of vulnerable areas last month, but national police chief Dan Eliasson prevented its release.

“This information is very sensitive,” a source said of the report.

“Eliasson is making every effort to get the results turned around, but they have been going in the wrong direction.”

“There is an atmosphere of crisis and management recognises the need to present a credible plan of action,” the source told Dagens Nyheter.

In February, U.S. President Donald Trump was scorned by the establishment and media in Sweden after he told a rally that the Nordic nation is “having problems like they never thought possible” as a result of mass migration.

But just hours after the president’s speech in Florida, riots in which cars were set ablaze and shops were looted broke out in the notorious “vulnerable” zone of Rinkeby.

In April, Breitbart London reported that dozens of homes in the Stockholm suburb were no longer receiving postal deliveries after the company responsible judged the neighbourhood, where a majority of residents were born overseas, to be too dangerous to send their staff.

Construction on Rinkeby’s fortified police station was put on hold in March as authorities could not find a contractor willing to send his workers to the site as the area was “too dangerous”. Many officers due to be stationed there fear they will be targets on their daily commutes, and will likely not be able to travel on public transport.

In 2015, Breitbart London reported from Rosengård, a no-go suburb of the migrant-populated and heavily government subsidised Malmö, that the newly-built police station was closed and not a police officer was to be seen in the area.

Swedish feminists have also been moving out of the no-go zones of Husby and Tensta following intimidation from local Muslim men.”

    http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-italy-politics-migrants-5star-idUKKBN194238

“Rome mayor Virginia Raggi, a prominent member of the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement, has asked the government not to send any more asylum seekers to the capital, saying it is already groaning under the strain.

The request was made public on Tuesday, after 5-Star took a drubbing at local elections on Sunday, failing to make the run-off in 24 of the main 25 cities called to pick a mayor. A national vote is due by the first half of next year.

Managing newly arrived migrants has become one of the thorniest issues for Italy’s government, which is run by the Democratic Party (PD), the 5-Star’s rival.

More than half a million people have arrived by boat from North Africa since 2014, and almost 200,000 are being housed in state-funded centres while they put forward asylum requests.

Raggi wrote to the interior ministry, which is responsible for plans to relocate asylum seekers from arrival points on the southern coasts to the rest of the country, asking to suspend further arrivals to the capital, her spokesman said…”

    • This is one of the few times I disagree with Judge Napolitano, Mueller is hiring people who donated large amounts of money to Hillary and one of them was her Attorney, they are too biased to carry out a honest investigation. We have all seen how crooked the Dems have become and letting them be the investigators insures that the investigation will find wrong doing even when they have to manufacture the evidence.
