1, A large white pickup truck ploughed into people in a Washington DC suburb called Adams Morgan last night. Two police officers were struck and one is in critical condition. There is a one hour video on Youtube now which just shows the emergency vehicles and speculates as to cause but its not worth an hour of your time. It looks like any other crime scene. This has some of the benchmarks of a muslim car attack but other indicators that it isn’t. Generally they don’t do these things when there aren’t a lot of witnesses as the whole point of terrorism is terror. And people have to know who did it and why.

2. Russia May Seize U.S. Property If Its Own Compounds Not Returned: Kommersant

(One begins to wonder what, if anything, the Democrats would not be willing to do to win an election.)

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia may seize U.S. diplomatic property in Moscow and complicate life for an Anglo-American school unless Washington hands back two diplomatic compounds in the United States before July, the daily Kommersant newspaper reported on Friday.

In December, then U.S. president Barack Obama ordered the expulsion of 35 Russians over what he said was their involvement in hacking last year’s U.S. presidential election, allegations Moscow flatly denies.

The U.S. authorities seized two Russian diplomatic compounds, one in Maryland and another on Long Island, at the same time. Moscow did not retaliate, saying it would wait to see if relations improved under the incoming U.S. president, Donald Trump.

3. N. Korea says launch tested ‘new type’ of cruise missile

Seoul (AFP) – Pyongyang on Friday hailed the successful test of a new type of surface-to-ship cruise missile, which it said was designed to hit “any enemy group of battleships” that threatened North Korea.

The launch Thursday — the North’s fifth weapons test in a month — was overseen by leader Kim Jong-Un, the state-run Korean Central News Agency reported, and came less than a week after the United Nations tightened sanctions against the Stalinist regime.

“The launched cruise rockets accurately detected and hit the floating targets on the East Sea of Korea,” KCNA said, referring to the Sea of Japan — where two US aircraft carriers were on naval manoeuvres last week.

The USS Carl Vinson and the USS Ronald Reagan led the three-day exercises that ended on June 3, with a total of a dozen US ships participating along with two Japanese vessels, in a show of force directed at North Korea.

(If Trudeau’s Canada developed a “new type of ‘cruise missile’ I would have some pretty predictable, homophobic jokes here. But NORK weapons might actually deliver harm.)

5. ISIS Threatens Terror Campaign in the Balkans

“No, we swear by Allah, we have not forgotten the Balkans,” the Bosnian version of ISIS’s magazine Rumiyah warned as the terror organisation issued a new threat to the region.

In an article entitled “The Balkans – Blood for Enemies, and Honey for Friends”, the terror group makes direct threats to Serbs and Croats over their roles in the Balkan wars, as well as to Muslim ‘traitors’ to the Islamic faith.
