    We are all by now thoroughly accustomed to fake news, false narratives pushed by elements within the mainstream media elite, to skew, shape and mold public opinion. But this past week, we were introduced to a new variation of the fake news paradigm — fake refugees. On May 29, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) featured a photo on its social media pages and website of what it described was an 11-year-old Gazan girl named Aya, pictured against the backdrop of strewn rubble and a destroyed building. Alongside Aya’s photo was the following emotive, heart-wrenching narrative designed to channel dollars and euros from unwitting donors to UNRWA’s already overstuffed coffers;

    Protesters at Evergreen State College are reportedly roaming campus with baseball bats, according to photos and videos circulating on social media.

    Professor Bret Weinstein, who has received calls for his resignation after he refused to participate in what the New York Times called “a day of racial segregation,” has shared video and photos allegedly of Evergreen students roaming campus with baseball bats.

    Let’s talk about fair for a moment.

    A Connecticut freshman boy who identifies as a girl, who as of April had not had sex reassignment surgery or taken hormone and puberty blockers, was allowed to compete against girls in the Connecticut high school Class M state championships, where he won both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes with times that would not have even finished last in the boys’ same events.

    Perriello took $250k from Soros in January, outpacing opponents in out-of-state cash

    Liberal billionaire George Soros gave an additional $250,000 to Virginia Democrat Tom Perriello in May, bringing his total contributions to the former one-term congressman’s primary to $500,000, according to a campaign finance report filed on Monday.

    Together with $50,000 that was given to Perriello from Soros’s son Gregory, money from the Soros family accounted for 16 percent of the money the campaign brought in between April 1 and June 1 of this year.

    The new contributions come after Soros gave $250,000 to Perriello in January and two of his other sons—Alexander and Jonathan—gave $135,470 to Perriello in March, bringing the total amount the Soros family has given to Perriello to $685,470.

    Soros was not the only Democratic mega-donor to chip in during the final two months of Perriello’s push to defeat Virginia lieutenant governor Ralph Northam in the June 13 Democratic gubernatorial primary.
