“Spain’s national police on Saturday detained a young Moroccan who interrupted a wedding ceremony in Valladolid, north Spain, while shouting “God is greatest”.

The 22 year-old man approached the altar with the intention of taking down the cross and various other religious objects. Valladolid’s Government Subdelegation has reported that the man has since been accused of disturbing public order, making threats and “crimes against religious feeling”.

The man seen in the video is a Moroccan residing in Spain with a student permit, and the video of the incident has been widely shared on social media.

On June 3, a 47 year-old Moroccan man was arrested in Madrid following an international warrant for his arrest. He is suspected of belonging to a terrorist group, helping prepare terrorist activities, and finding funds to finance these activities.

Born in Tetouan, and now a resident of Parla in Madrid, the man was investigated by police in 2004 following terrorist attacks in the city on March 11, 2004.

Research conducted this year by Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE) shows that Moroccans make up the largest foreign community in Spain, numbering 747,872.”

  3. Saudi jets in heaviest Ramadan bombing of Yemen (alalam, Jun 5, 2017)
    http://en.alalam.ir/news/1978612

“Saudi warplanes have carried out the kingdom’s heaviest bombardment of the Yemeni soil since the onset of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, targeting the vicinity of the Presidential Palace in the capital Sana’a.

(Press tv) — The aircraft pounded al-Nahdain Mountain in the south of the city five times early Monday, Yemen’s official Saba’ Net news agency reported. The strikes destroyed several residential buildings and inflicted other material damage, but there was no immediate word on possible casualties.

Also on Monday, Yemen’s al-Masirah television network released footage of the damage caused a day earlier by Saudi airstrikes on a health center in the northwestern province of Sa’ada, used to treat cholera patients.

The attack took place as the outbreak continues to spread across the country, having already claimed more than 600 lives.

Separately, the Yemen al-Yawm television channel conducted an interview with former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, who rejected claims that his allied Army and popular forces had received even a “single bullet from Iran.”

Saudi Arabia has been carrying out the bombing campaign since March 2015 to restore Saleh’s pro-Riyadh successor, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi. Hadi had resigned earlier that year and refused to negotiate power with Yemen’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement, which ally Saleh.

Riyadh accuses Tehran of arming the forces towards preventing Hadi’s reinstatement. The Islamic Republic rejects the claim.

Saleh said the ballistic missiles, which the Army has been firing onto the Saudi soil in retaliation for the invasion are part of the strategic stockpile, which he had procured during his tenure.

The missiles, he said, have actually been bought by the very $60 billion, which he is being accused of misappropriating.”

“About 20 to 30 migrants enter Serbia daily for an average of 800 migrants each month, despite the closing of the so-called “Balkan route” to migrant traffic, according to Serbian Commissioner for Migrants and Refugees Vladimir Cucic.

Cucic said about 250 migrants per month travel legally from Serbia to Hungary through points for asylum seekers set up at the borders in the Serbian towns of Horgos and Kelebija.

An average of about 700 more migrants leave Serbia illegally with the aid of human traffickers, Cucic told Serbian public broadcaster RTS.

There are currently about 6,200 migrants in Serbia, compared to 8,400 last January, following a consistent downward trend, Cucic said.”

  5. Turkey insists Germany should extradite suspected Gülenists (hurriyetdailynews, Jun 5, 2017)
    http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/turkey-insists-germany-should-extradite-suspected-gulenists-.aspx?pageID=238&nID=113950&NewsCatID=510

“Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu once again highlighted on June 5 Ankara’s demand from Berlin to extradite the followers of Fethullah Gülen, the main suspect in the probes into the July 15, 2016 coup attempt.

“Our friend Germany should not be the harbor of our enemies. It’s our natural right to expect our friend and ally to take more serious steps on this issue,” Çavu?o?lu said during a joint press meeting with his visiting German counterpart, Sigmar Gabriel.

Turkey wants Germany to hand over 450 former military personnel and diplomats, as well as senior bureaucrats believed to have links with the coup plotters.

Gabriel, for his part, recalled that asylum requests are being handled by an independent body and relevant judicial institutions and said the German government has no authority in this process.

“Germany is a country of the rule of law,” Gabriel stressed, noting the necessity for the Turkish state to provide strong evidence that the individuals cited were involved in the coup attempt.”

  6. Gülen, two HDP MPs and 127 others face denaturalization within three months (hurryietdailynews, Jun 5, 2017)
    http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/gulen-two-hdp-mps-and-127-others-face-denaturalization-within-three-months.aspx?pageID=238&nID=113927&NewsCatID=338

“A denaturalization process for U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, two lawmakers of the Kurdish issue-focused Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and 127 others has officially come into effect, according to a notice by the Interior Ministry published in the Official Gazette on June 5.

The ministry’s notice stated that a total of 130 people abroad, who had been probed over terror charges and crimes against the constitutional order, will be denaturalized unless they return and apply to the relevant institutions in the country within a three-month period starting from June 5.

Gülen, who lives in Pennsylvania, is accused of masterminding the failed July 2016 coup attempt and is in 91st place in the list.

Ankara has accused the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETO) of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police and judiciary.

According to state-run Anadolu Agency, the list also included Osman Hilmi Özdil, the alleged “police imam” of the Gülen network codenamed Kozanl? Ömer, and he is reported to be in Thailand. An extradition request had previously been filed on him.

Separately, HDP ??rnak deputy Faysal Sar?y?ld?z and Van deputy Fatma Hezer Öztürk were also named on the list alongside the party’s former Van deputy Özdal Üçer.

The lawmakers are accused of “providing arms to a terror organization” and “engaging in terror organization propaganda,” with an arrest warrant already issued for them. Parliament is also reviewing dossiers to strip their parliamentary status due to absence.

Some 10 lawmakers from the HDP, including its co-chairs Selahattin Demirta? and Figen Yüksekda?, were arrested on Nov. 4, 2016 and are currently in jail, facing hundreds of years inside for alleged links to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

According to Article 29/2 of the Turkish Citizenship Law, citizens who are abroad and probed over aforementioned charges are reported to the Interior Ministry by the prosecutor or the court to strip them of citizenship within a month. The ministry then publishes the notice and they are ultimately denaturalized unless they return within three months upon the request of the ministry and the cabinet decision.

The 11th criminal court in the southern province of Adana made an official application to the Justice Ministry to withdraw Gülen’s citizenship on May 26.”

“Ankara and Berlin failed to reach a consensus in the ongoing dispute over a demand from the German parliament to visit German soldiers at the ?ncirlik air base in southern Turkey, at a meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries in Ankara on June 5.

Turkey said current conditions were “not suitable” for German lawmakers to visit the ?ncirlik base, which is used in strikes on the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Syria, but they would be welcome to visit a military base in Konya, where Germany has troops and early reconnaissance planes deployed as part of a NATO mission.

German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel pledged in a joint press meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavu?o?lu more efforts to fight against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKK) activities in Germany.

Both Turkey and Germany underlined the need to maintain good ties by focusing on a “positive agenda,” as a breakdown in relations would serve neither side…”

  8. PICTURES: FGM-Linked Muslim Sect Given First Chance to Lay Flowers at London Attack Vigil

Thousands of Londoners gathered Monday in a park near London’s Tower Bridge to express grief over the deaths of those killed by radical Islamic terrorists on Saturday evening.

The vigil, led by London mayor Sadiq Khan, saw a procession of Muslims given the opportunity to first, and separately, lay flowers at the scene.

While the group of men first laid flowers, other Britons and attendees were held behind barriers.

The group is believed to have been from the Bohra sect of Islam, perhaps best known for their adherence to the barbaric practice of female genital mutilation.

Mr. Khan was joined by several other major political figures including Home Secretary Amber Rudd of the Conservative Party and Labour Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott. Thousands of others also attended the event which started at 6pm in Potters Fields Park along the river Thames.

  9. Poland: Refusing to Import Muslims is Only Proven Counter-Terror Method

The only way to protect Poland from Islamic terror attacks is to not allow Muslims to migrate en masse, a British-born, senior MEP for the nation’s ruling party said on Monday.

“When it comes to reducing the chances of Poland being hit by [Islamist] terror attacks, the only proven method is to not allow in Muslim migrants,” Ryszard Czarnecki told local radio after an attack in London on Saturday killed seven and injured at least 48 others.

Noting the children of Islamic immigrants have been responsible for a large number of ISIS-inspired attacks on European soil, the London-born Law and Justice (PiS) MEP said Poland is “learning from the mistakes” of other nations in the West, and so refuses to “open [its] doors to Islamic migrants.”

Asked whether he thinks the politicians running Poland have any good advice on how to avoid terrorism for Britain, which has experienced three Jihadist attacks in three months, and other countries in Western Europe, Czarnecki said the country has “a very specific concept — no Islamic immigrants.

“With regards to Britain, we have already told them on several occasions they need to deport, not tolerate, radical migrants.

Cuban Who Waved U.S. Flag During May Day Rally in Mental Institution for ‘Believing in God’

The Cuban regime has placed an anti-communist, pro-American protester in one of the nation’s most notorious mental institutions following his interruption of the annual May Day parade, where he ran down the parade route waving an American flag.

According to Cuban journalist Serafín Morán, dissident Daniel Llorente Miranda is being kept against his will in the Boyeros Psychiatric Hospital, known colloquially as Mazorra. There, Llorente says the government has attempted to force him to take prescription medications he does not need. Llorente is facing criminal charges of “public disorder and resistance,” and it is unclear whether he will face trial for those charges or be labeled mentally unable to stand trial:

  11. WHO: United States Among Least Polluting Nations on the Planet

Despite recent attempts to paint the United States as a major global polluter, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. is among the cleanest nations on the planet.

In the most recent WHO report on air pollution, the United States was listed as one of the countries with the cleanest air in the world, significantly cleaner in fact than the air in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the UK, Japan, Austria and France.

While France and other G7 countries lamented the U.S. exit from the Paris climate accord, America’s air is already cleaner than that of any other country in the G7.

Following standard practice, the WHO measures air pollution by the mean annual concentration of fine suspended particles of less than 2.5 microns in diameter. These are the particles that cause diseases of all sorts and are responsible for most deaths by air pollution.

  12. 9/11 Message Has Locals Upset Over This North Carolina Billboard

Hey, sometimes the truth isn’t pretty to look at. And while we get that not everyone wants to be reminded of 9/11 every day on the way to work, the people who put up a controversial billboard supporting President Trump’s travel ban in Catawba County, North Carolina can’t be accused of shading the truth.

A local North Carolina news station covered the flap last week surrounding a billboard that recently went up on Interstate 40. The billboard, a version of which was also put up in Tennessee, reads:

Why Support President Trump’s Immigration Ban?
19 Muslim Immigrants Killed 2,977 Americans
    9/11/01

“I think the numbers are powerful enough in themselves,” one individual told the local news. “So, if you look at it and think something is wrong about it, it makes you wonder about yo

  13. Conservatives torch Comey’s credibility ahead of Senate hearing

    WILMINGTON, N.C.

Washington will be riveted this week by the drama surrounding former FBI Director James Comey’s expected congressional testimony.

But Republicans elsewhere in the country say they couldn’t care less.

Interviews with GOP activists across the country, including around a dozen attendees at this weekend’s North Carolina Republican convention, reveal deep mistrust of Comey, who was investigating possible connections between Russia and the Trump campaign before the president fired him.

Comey, slated to appear before the Senate intelligence committee on Thursday, is also expected to respond to reports that Trump pressured him to give former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn a pass. Yet there is little Comey could say this week that would change how grassroots Republicans view the president.
