Shadow Brokers hackers release NSA hacking tools to punish Trump for ‘abandoning’ his base

Hacking group Shadow Brokers has released the password to a trove of NSA exploits in what they say is a form of protest against President Donald Trump for going back on his campaign promises, and warning the president, “Don’t forget your base.”

The shadowy group first emerged last August and released hacking exploits used by the NSA’s Equation Group, which included vulnerabilities in firewall products, and a list of IP addresses the NSA had exploited, which the group released at a later date.

  1. I don’t know what lead to Trump attacking Syria but I do know that this is a move that will accelerate when WWIII goes Kinetic.

  2. Ok, I’ve got my special tinfoil helmet on today – the one with the flashing Christmas lights:

    What if Trump actually decided to help Bashar al-Assad regain control of his country? Immediately, the left would go crazy on Donald for backing a “madman” and the Muslim world would go nuts on Bashar for helping the Infidel. Solution? Have the US hit a Syrian airbase after working out all the details in advance. Wouldn’t this clear the playing field for Trump to “reluctantly” ease al-Assad back into power while Assad gets to grumble about the evil Infidel to keep his base from thinking he’d gone apostate on them. This is probably sheer madness, but it sort of makes sense…

    Additionally, such a move would firm up Trump’s table image for future negotiations. “Don’t fuck with me. I’m nuts.”, is not the worst table image one can have…

    • That is an interesting idea, and no crazier then some I have read since the raid. I know that the raid wasn’t meant to take the airport out of use and only cost Assad or possibly Putin some MIGs, probably so Russia and Syria can protect the Christian village. Other then that I don’t know what is happening.

      • You’d think that a work crew could probably fix up those holes in the runways in a day or two.

        And it is a problem for an Arab leader to work too enthusiastically with an American president without being called an Infidel-loving lap dog. Same goes for Egypt. Manufacturing a little spat is probably not a bad idea. And I find it very hard to believe that Donald Trump would walk into what is in all probability a setup that will make him look really bad in the future and totally screw up the entire situation.

        • What holes? The hit the planes setting well off the runway, all they had to do was remove some fragments and the field was ready for business. They also didn’t hit the hangers or tower.

      It’s not only totally plausible, but I hope that it is so! I dont want that light at the end of the tunnel that was/is Trump to be the headlight of an oncoming train !

        • The scary thing is that rational people are starting to think in conspiracy theory possibilities, add in the video on a post on 4-10-17, the German TV show where the reporter tries to show the interlinking of the various “rebel” groups and the terrorist groups then stir in Erdogan’s actions and desire to be Caliph and you have western civilization falling for massive propaganda efforts and collapsing as a viable civilization.

          I think I have somehow put Chris’ tinfoil hat.

    Is Trump another effing Manchurian candidate? The main reason I supported him was that he appeared to get the idea about what was going on and specifically promised, over and over again, never to do what he is currently doing. Am I supposed to believe he is somehow completely oblivious to that? Is Trump somehow incapable of seeing that this might be a false flag event?

    Trump is now lining things up exactly like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, with “regime change” for al-Assad and endless conflict with Russia – just like all the lefties want. Was this all planned from the beginning? Have we gone from the Manchurian candidate to the Great Bait-and-switch? Is he going to hire Huma Abedin as his personal assistant and give her her own keys to the secret room with the ultra-classified documents next? Is Donald Trump secretly working for the Democrats? Do they have something on him that could actually put him in jail for his remaining years – or one of his kids? I wouldn’t put such a thing past the Democrats or the “deep state” or George Soros or “the left” or whoever is making the world so effing crazy these days. This makes no sense at all – just like Barack Hussein Obama…
