According to Akkari, misrepresenting jihad will hurt the dawah efforts of Muslims.

He says, “What is preventing non-muslims from Islam? It is either that allah knows that they are so bad-allah´s not going to guide them. They don´t deserve guidance or we muslims don´t have the bravery to convey the truth.

  2. This is why MSM, Dems and deep state pushed the “Russian Interference” narrative so hard. We’ve suspected it to be a smokescreen for “incidental” spying on Trump’s operation running up to the election, but now it may be substantiated. Push as loud and hard as you can, they reasoned, so to drown all counters to the damning narrative. Eisenhower was right. And it truly is a swamp. It shouldn’t take much more pressure until we start to see rats jumping ship. And each one now who jumps will sing, and this will be the litmus for his arrest!

‘Smoking gun’? More to come on surveillance of Trump
    By J.E. Dyer March 23, 2017

We’ll have to wait and see if this is a smoking gun (the words of a source). But according to Fox News’s James Rosen, he’s been told by an unnamed source that additional evidence — beyond what was described Wednesday by House Intel Committee chairman Devin Nunes ?
    39%
    — is to be presented to the House committee as early as this week.

I’m skeptical about it being presented this week, at least in any way that the public hears about, because there’s only one working day left, and the replacement bill for Obamacare is sucking all the oxygen out of Capitol Hill (as it must). Assuming there is such evidence on the way, it’s more likely that it will at best be made available under classified cover to committee staffers and members. Any disclosures to the public would be made later.

It will be interesting — more than interesting — to see what is disclosed to the public. More on that in a moment, as it’s a key point. But first, to Rosen’s reporting on what this evidence will be. Emphasis added:

  7. Suspect in Jewish center bomb hoaxes: Israeli teen with brain tumor, behavioral problems
    By J.E. Dyer March 23, 2017

ause it doesn’t serve the narrative that Trump is causing every problem in America from anti-Semitism to ungusseted work shirts.

But Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced this morning that Israeli police had arrested the main suspect in the string of hundreds of bomb hoaxes phoned in to Jewish community centers and synagogues in recent weeks. A 19-year-old Israeli-American was arrested Thursday morning in connection with bomb hoaxes in the U.S., Israel, and New Zealand.

According to Ynet, the young man was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 14, and has had behavioral problems related to his illness for years.

It is reported that at the time of the arrest, the 19-year-old suspect attempted to grab a policewoman’s pistol and tried to harm himself, but was stopped.

His lawyer requested that he be placed under supervision after raising concern for his mental wellbeing and claiming that he might try to harm himself.

According to his lawyer, the suspect has been suffering from brain tumor since the age of 14, and as a result, has been homeschooled ever since. According to her, the illness affects his behavior, which impedes him from working and even prevented him from being conscripted into the IDF.

The suspect’s voice was masked in the phone calls, reportedly sounding like a woman in some of them. The origin of the calls was obscured, but in most cases traced back to Israel:

He allegedly attempted to technologically mask the origin of his threatening communications to synagogues, community buildings and public venues. Police investigators also found a large Wi-Fi antenna on the window of the suspect’s home.

This development serves the Trump-made-us-do-it narrative as little as the earlier report that eight of the bomb-threat hoaxes had been perpetrated by a radical-left journalist with a troubled professional history, Juan M. Thompson of St. Louis. Thompson was thought to be retaliating against a Jewish ex-girlfriend who had broken up with him.

*UPDATE*: Times of Israel, citing Haaretz, reported in the last hour that the suspect appears to have received payments from an unidentified source using a Bitcoin account. This raises the possibility that a mentally troubled young man was being induced to make the hoax bomb threats by a third party. In a developing story, of course, we must always have due caution about such reports. But this detail is interesting.

  8. North Korea has no fear of U.S. sanctions move, will pursue nuclear arms – envoy

North Korea has nothing to fear from any U.S. move to broaden sanctions aimed at cutting it off from the global financial system and will pursue “acceleration” of its nuclear and missile programs, a North Korean envoy told Reuters on Tuesday.

This includes developing a “pre-emptive first strike capability” and an inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM), said Choe Myong Nam, deputy ambassador at the North Korean mission to the United Nations in Geneva.

Reuters, quoting a senior U.S. official in Washington, reported on Monday that the Trump administration is considering sweeping sanctions as part of a broad review of measures to counter North Korea’s nuclear and missile threat. (For Monday’s story, click reut.rs/2n9HZ5a)

“I think this is stemming from the visit by the Secretary of State (Rex Tillerson) to Japan, South Korea and China…We of course are not afraid of any act like that,” Choe told Reuters.

  9. Salafists Control All Mosques in Brussels: Mayor
    Home > World > Belgium
By Meira Svirsky Thursday, March 23, 2017

“Everyone knows that all mosques in Brussels are in the hands of Salafists. We need to change this, we need new mosques that follow our democratic rules and that are being controlled by the government.” Mayor Brussels Mayor Yvan Mayeur told DeMorgen.

Salafism is an austere branch of Islam that seeks to recreate the original purity of the religion as practiced by the first generations of Muslims. Not all Salafist are violent or politically-minded, but Sunni Islamist terrorists generally adhere to Salafist principles.

While declaring that Brussels is not the capital of jihad, the mayor of Belgium’s capital said the city has a definite problem with radical Islam.

In comments translated by Politico, Mayeur said, “Terrorism is a problem that involves Europe as a whole. Don’t forget what happened in Paris, Nice and Berlin. If this was only a Brussels problem, it would have been solved.”

He said jihadism began in Antwerp, then spread to Vivoorde (an area next to Brussels), Molenbeek (a Brussels suburb) and north Brussels.

At present, he admitted, Brussels still has a shortage of police officers to cope with security concerns.

A recent governmental report concluded at least 51 organizations in Brussels have links to terrorism.

  10. Will the West Please Stop Siding with Criminals?

    by Khadija Khan

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/10098/siding-with-criminals

The growth in systematic abuse of women, especially by Islamists in the West, requires democratic governments to introduce strong measures to stop this abuse, before abusive mullahs start harassing women of all faiths, to force them to submit to their wishes.

The recent threats and harassment of a British “Hijabi girl” by Islamists in Birmingham, England, merely for a video showing her dance, have re-exposed the ugly face of this autocratic mindset that owes its existence to extremist states such as Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Enslaving women in general and inflicting repressive agendas — such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, segregation, allowing no say in choosing a partner, education or profession, with abysmal living standards often part of the abuse — is just a small measure of the jihad that the Islamists have managed to unleash across the globe.

The video of “Hijabi girl” (her name is not known), happily dancing in public, was recorded and uploaded to the internet by bystanders.

The video led to aggressive shaming and harassment of the girl by the local Islamist “morality police”: men who ranted against her “impious” act and reportedly made her apologize publicly online.

Sobbing, she admitted how supposedly evil and shameless she was to have brought such dishonor to her family and religion.

It is important for as many people as possible, both in Great Britain and world-wide, to say how much they love her beautiful spirit and that they totally standby her right to dance, sing, play or have fun. These are very normal human activities.

    • BREITBART – French Muslims Protest and Pray in Street After ‘Mosque’ Closure

Muslims in the French city of Clichy protested a local government decision to remove them from a building which they were occupying and had turned into a mosque.

On Wednesday, police removed the Muslim group known as the Union of Muslim Associations of Clichy (UAMC) who were squatting in the building after a long and heated battle between the city and the UAMC. The city wants to turn the property into a media library, and the Muslim group want it to remain a mosque. On Thursday, a large group of Muslims appeared on the street outside the city hall at 5:00 am to pray and protest the evacuation of the property, La Parisien reports.

According to reports, the local government gave the Muslim association a lease on the property but it expired in June last year, and the Muslims refused to leave. On Wednesday at 8:30 am, bailiffs arrived at the building and welded the gate shut so that no one could enter. However, around 50 individuals managed to gain access to the building and had to be forcibly removed by police.

The removal was not entirely peaceful as police report that three of their officers were injured during the operation. One Muslim demonstrator was arrested for committing a violent act against a police officer.

The city decided to repurpose the building last year and gave the UAMC another building to pray in. The Muslim group rejected the offer and said the new area was too small and did not have the “dignity” befitting its worshippers.

Footage has emerged claiming to be of the protest, showing protestors blocking a street and being flanked by police in full riot gear whilst cars beep their horns.

      — STOP TERROR (@S_T_O_P_TERROR) March 23, 2017

The street prayer protests come as part of a rising movement in France. The recurrence of mass public prayer became so disruptive in the country that in 2011 the government was forced to pass a law banning Muslims from praying on the streets of Paris.

Illegal mosques are not just a problem in France but also in Italy where authorities shut down at least six mosques last year. Muslims in Italy also protested the shutdowns, which officials closed for safety reasons and building standards, and threatened to invade the Vatican and pray there if they weren’t allowed to continue using their mosques.

In Germany, some small mosques, which are often located within private homes, have been linked to radical Islamic schools of thought like Salafism. Earlier this year, Socialist Party politician Sigmar Gabriel called for Salafist mosques to be shut down after it was revealed the Berlin Christmas Market terror attacker Anis Amri had been involved with several Salafist mosques in Berlin.

    • France: Muslims pray on streets of Paris in protest against Mosque closure

Up to 2,000 Muslims gathered outside the Clichy-la-Garenne Town Hall, in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, Friday, to pray congregational Friday prayers in public, in protest against the recent closure of a local Mosque.

Among those leading the protest was the director of the Committee against Islamophobia in France (CIF), Marwan Muhammad, who addressed the crowds, affirming that “we don’t want to have a conflict with the city hall, we are not happy about blocking people,” adding that “this is not something Muslim men and women wanted. But this happened because they think they can treat Muslims like this, even in 2017. And it is not acceptable anymore.”

Marwan Muhammad, Director of Committee against Islamophobia in France (French): “We are decent people, and that’s why you hear the people, the Imam, the president of the association say that we are not happy to be here. We don’t want to have a conflict with the city hall, we are not happy about blocking people from going to the Mc Donald’s there or passing behind. This is not something Muslim men and women wanted. But this happened because they think they can treat Muslims like that even in 2017. And it is not acceptable anymore.”

  11. Obama’s People Tried to Change Trump’s Executive Order from Islam to Violent Extremism
    March 24, 2017
    Daniel Greenfield
Adam Kredo at the Free Beacon continues his stellar reporting.

In one instance, Trump administration officials found evidence that the administration’s executive order banning travel from certain Muslim-majority nations had been selectively altered to bring it more in line with Obama-era talking points.

Several hours before the orders were set to be signed by Trump, officials noticed that language concerning “radical Islamic terrorism” had been stripped from the order and replaced with Obama-era language about countering violent extremism.

West Wing staffers quickly scrambled to rewrite the order to bring it back in line with Trump’s rhetoric, sources told the Free Beacon. The alteration of these directives is said to have spooked some senior officials working on the issue.

This is what happens when you have the Obama Anonymous network of people who have been there for eight years and know exactly how the system works and what buttons to push and levers to pull. Kredo also lists another example.

“U.S.-backed Syrian fighters reached a major dam held by the Islamic State group in northern Syria Friday as Syria’s U.N. ambassador said hundreds of American personnel are “invading my country,” insisting that any effort to liberate the city of Raqqa — the de facto capital of the Islamic State group — should be done in coordination with the Damascus government.

The push toward the Tishrin Dam came three days after U.S. aircraft ferried Syrian Kurdish fighters and allies behind IS lines to spearhead a major ground assault on the IS-held town of Tabqa where the dam is located. Tabqa is west of the city of Raqqa.

Cihan Sheikh Ehmed, the spokeswoman for the Syrian Democratic Forces, said the fighting is ongoing at the entrance of the dam, adding that there have been casualties among IS fighters. She gave no further details…”

“Turkey’s president has hit out at the head of Germany’s intelligence service for suggesting that Berlin is not convinced U.S.-based cleric Fethullah Gulen played a role in last year’s failed coup.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday accused the BND foreign intelligence chief Bruno Kahl of making the remarks on behalf of Germany’s leaders, who he said backed Gulen’s movement.

Kahl told Der Spiegel magazine that Turkey tried to “convince us on a number of different levels. But they haven’t yet been successful.”

Gulen denies orchestrating the coup attempt. Turkey is seeking his extradition from the United States.

Erdogan’s words come at a tense time in Turkey’s ties with Germany and the Netherlands following restrictions imposed on Turkish ministers wanting to campaign there for a referendum on ushering in a presidential system.”

    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/iran-renewing-special-rapporteur-mandate-spiteful-46354511

“Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman, Bahram Ghasemi, has condemned as “selective and spiteful” the U.N. Human Rights Council’s resolution to renew the mandate of the U.N. special rapporteur on the human rights situation in Iran, saying it was a politically-motivated move by a few countries abusing U.N. mechanisms, according to state TV.

Ghasemi said Friday that the U.N. Human Rights Council extended the mandate of the special rapporteur on Iran for the seventh consecutive year despite the lack of endorsement by the majority of member states, and through reliance on the vote of a “certain political bloc” and its few allies in the region.

The spokesman said such a “confrontational policy and destructive and failed approach” pursued through the “exertion of pressure on other countries” would regrettably undermine the U.N.’s credibility.”

“Russian authorities say six suspected militants and six soldiers were killed during a firefight in the volatile North Caucasus region.

The National Anti-terrorism Committee said in a statement Friday that armed militants, including two with suicide belts, tried to break into a National Guard base in Chechnya early Friday.

The National Guard, a powerful new security agency created last year by President Vladimir Putin, said the attack took place in heavy fog.

The Amaq news agency, which is linked to the Islamic State group, said “six soldiers of the caliphate” were killed in the attack.

There was no independent confirmation of IS involvement.

“Swiss federal prosecutors say they have “concrete indications” pointing to alleged political espionage by people linked to the Turkish community in Switzerland.

Attorney General Michael Lauber’s office says it opened a criminal investigation into suspicions of such spying on March 16, after having received permission from the federal government.

Under Swiss law, prosecution of political offenses generally requires authorization by Switzerland’s seven-member executive, the Federal Council, according to Lauber’s office.

Friday’s announcement comes a day after Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter told his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, that Swiss authorities would investigate any illegal intelligence activities in Switzerland.

“Far from the cameras that followed him closely over six years of legal wrangling, Egypt’s ousted President Hosni Mubarak quietly returned home to his family on Friday after winning acquittals and release from a Cairo hospital where he has been detained for years.

The 88-year-old onetime autocratic ruler now walks free, acquitted over his role in the killings of hundreds of protesters who defied his rule. He captured the world’s attention when he stepped down in response to an 18-day uprising, and once again when he appeared — then jarringly — behind the bars of the defendant’s cage in a trial that media dubbed “the trial of the century.”

    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/pope-urges-eu-resist-false-security-promised-populists-46356387

“Pope Francis urged European leaders on Friday to resist the “false forms of security” promised by populists who want to wall themselves off and instead bank on a future of greater solidarity and union.

Francis welcomed 27 EU leaders to the Vatican on the eve of a summit to mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, the founding charter of the bloc.

The summit falls just days before Britain triggers a procedure to leave the EU and comes amid a wave of anti-EU populist sentiment sweeping the continent that threatens the very essence of the EU.

In his remarks, Francis said Europeans seem to have forgotten the “tragedy” of the walls and divisions that inspired leaders decades ago to hope for a better future through union.

Today, he said, politicians are guided instead by fear and crises and fall prey to egotistical populism that “hems people in and prevents them from overcoming and looking beyond their own narrow vision.”

“Europe finds new hope when she refuses to yield to fear or close herself off in false forms of security,” he said. “Politics needs this kind of leadership which avoids appealing to emotions to gain consent but instead, in a spirit of solidarity and subsidiarity, devises policies that can make the union as a whole develop harmoniously.”….”

  24. Extremism allows criminals to continue with ‘an air of SPIRITUALITY’, says terror expert (express, Mar 24, 2017)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/783591/terror-expert-afzal-ashraf-talkradio-extremism-criminal-tendencies-julia-hartley-brewer

“THOSE with “criminal tendencies” are easy-pickings for terror recruiters, according to one counterterrorism expert.

Afzal Ashraf, a consultant fellow at the Royal United Services Institute said turning to extremism allowed those with criminal pasts to continue breaking the law with an “air of spirituality”.

The comments on talkRADIO come after police named the London terror attack perpetrator as 52-year-old Khalid Masood.

He is thought to have previous convictions including assault and GBH and reportedly converted to Islam whilst in prison.

Host Julia Hartley-Brewer said: “It’s interesting how many of them will have criminal pasts, they will have been known to the authorities, this man for GBH, for a knife attack, other assaults as well, and how much criminality seems to be involved now with Islamic extremism.

“Is it that these people are easy-pickings in jail and that’s where they’re radicalised or is it that they’re already on the fringes of society and therefore they’re targeted that way, what’s going on there?”

Mr Ashraf, who worked as a counterterrorism strategist in Iraq, said extremism was very much to do with “criminal tendencies”.

He said: “I think it’s that their criminal tendencies make them very much more vulnerable to the idea that you can carry on doing what you’re doing.

“[It’s] criminality but [they] give it an air of spirituality or morality because deep down everybody knows the difference between right and wrong, it doesn’t matter what our backgrounds are.

“What it does do is, this sort of thing allows them to feel that what they’re doing is less wrong, [that] it is actually good and so yes, criminality is a major part.”

Mr Ashraf suggested how terrorists could be deterred in future and called for countries to “counter the impression of success of these organisations and make them fail politically”.

A police investigation is now ongoing after Masood mowed down members of the public before attempting to storm Parliament, killing a policeman in the process.

Three members of public died as a result of the attack.”

      • Remember Mo was a caravan raider hiding from the law when he decided to start his cult, of course he would start one that appealed to the criminals. After all he wanted followers he would feel comfortable around.

“ALARM are ringing in Washington after American warships were “harassed” by “aggressive” Iranian forces – who trained their weapons against the vessels.

The incident was condemned by US security forces who said Iran had been acting increasingly provocatively and unpredictably in recent months.

Despite being in international waters in the Strait of Hormuz, the American ships were aggressively approached by members of the Iranian Navy on Tuesday.

Iranian forces trained their weapons on the US flotilla, which was made up of five ships and included the huge aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush.

In response, America deployed helicopters from the warship to hover over the small attack ships.

Washington said the helicopters were then also threatened.

Rear Admiral Kenneth Whitesell, commander of the Carrier Strike Group 2, said Iran had been unnecessarily aggressive during the incident.

Iran said the US ships had breached its territory – a claim America denies.

Rear Admiral Whitesell said: “What I don’t like about that is they were in the middle of international transit waters. We had a right to be there as we were exercising freedom of navigation on our way into the Arabian Gulf.

“They also had weapons uncovered as some of the cameras were able to tell. They had some of the weapons manned. We also have aerial data that they were arming all of these weapons.”

Captain Will Pennington, commanding officer on the aircraft carrier, said Iran had shown “certainly unprofessional behaviour”.

He added they had been acting in a “more aggressive and less predictable” manner in recent months, as tensions continue to escalate between the Middle Eastern country and the West…”

    • North Korea is acting more aggressive and China is backing up their actions, Iran is acting more aggressive will Putin back up their actions? The modern version of the Axis powers of WWII are getting ready to make a big push that the west will have to counter with force, the big question is which side will Russia join? With the radical left being so close to the Moslem Brotherhood it has to cross your mind, are the Democrats pushing the idea of Russia as an enemy to try and prevent the US from allying with Russia in the coming war?
