4. Germany: Refugee in court accused of fire at asylum center

The Algerian asylum seeker was due in court in the western German city of Düsseldorf on Monday charged with serious arson.

Alongside him, a Moroccan man of the same age was due to face judges, accused of incitement.

[…]

According to the charges, the main suspect was angry that residents not observing the fasting month of Ramadan had been given meals in the morning and afternoon.

5. OIC forum on anti-Muslim bias

JEDDAH — The OIC’s Permanent Observer Mission at the United Nations in New York will on Tuesday jointly host with the Permanent Missions of Canada, the United States, and the Delegation of the European Union, a forum on combating anti-Muslim discrimination and hatred. The day-long event at the UN headquarters will feature high-level speakers as well as three interactive panels examining the rise of anti-Muslim discrimination and hatred globally from the perspective of governmental, non-governmental and private sector representatives, and providing recommendations for effective responses addressing this challenge in the future. The topics for the forum’s three panels are: Government policies to combat anti-Muslim discrimination and hatred; civil society coalition-building; and positive narratives to promote pluralism and inclusion. High-level representatives from the host missions will deliver remarks. The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will participate via pre-recorded video. Other high-level speakers throughout the day include: UN Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Religion of Belief, Ahmed Shaheed, Advisor to the OIC Secretary General, Ambassador Moiz Bokhari, national and international experts in anti-discrimination policy, civil society leaders, and artists.

6. McAleer: Congress’s Planned Parenthood Investigations Find Horrifying, Criminal Practices

[…] What they found is horrifying and criminal. It’s disturbing that the results have been virtually ignored in the mainstream media. So to fill this gap, here are the top eight horrifying facts the mainstream media doesn’t want you know about aborted babies bodies being sold for profit.

(Please click through and read it. But be warned, this is NOT easy reading.)

7. Leader of Austria’s Freedom Party calls for ‘zero immigration’

The leader of Austria’s Freedom Party (FPÖ), Heinz-Christian Strache, described Islam as “misogynistic,” “anti-liberal,” and as having “a fascistic worldview” during an almost two-hour speech at the FPÖ’s New Year gathering in the city of Salzburg.

Strache told around 4,000 party loyalists that Austria should “quickly put an end to this policy of Islamization… otherwise we Austrians, we Europeans will come to an abrupt end”. Asked to clarify what this meant, an FPÖ spokesperson said that any law against extreme Islam would mirror those introduced after World War II, which banned Nazi symbols and political affiliation.

Around 600,000 Muslims live in Austria, some of whom arrived during the recent migration crisis.

Many thanks to Perfect Child, M., Wrath of Khan, Richard, NorseRadish and many more who sent in materials, some of which, while subtle, are of tremendous importance.

More to come tonight. An interesting muslim rap video among others.

  1. 4. Ramadan Month, like Gay Pride Month, Black History Month, and Women’s History Month… a reminder to self-harm by fasting-binging and then bitch about how they are victims of their own mediocrity and that if only the world submitted to them and gave them their wealth it would be much fairer place.

  2. 3. Reina nightclub attacker who killed 39 nabbed in Istanbul

How will anyone in the West ever know?!?

The forensic evidence collection abilities of these Islamic pisshole forensic agencies respected international law enforcement authorities is less than NOTHING.

  3. Has anyone who is screaming for letting in more invaders ever stopped to think that if they weren’t killing so many babies in the abortion mills we would have a lot more young people to fill the jobs the invaders are supposedly filling?

The abortion doctors are serial killers who are making massive profit from their killing, the mothers pay them to murder the baby and then they make a lot more by selling the bodies.

    • @ Richard: I think it’s the first time I have ever seen you in a “glass half empty” stance. And I agree with you anyway.
Psssst have you seen our friend Yucki around lately ? Thinking of her a lot !

      • She is on and off, I know she has been having power supply problems so this may be part of the problem or she many be involved in some project to help kids from Israel. She hasn’t said anything about having any new medical problems so she is probably just busy.

Any way I hope so, I miss her and Rita when they aren’t here on a regular basis.

      • Sorry for forgetting who I was talking to, the weather is changing daily and my back is killing me. Combine that with the fact my cataracts are getting worse and the VA wants to wait a year or two before taking them out makes reading a pain. FYI I am addicted to reading so this is torture for me, I have had to spend money (from my limited budget) to buy a couple of the plastic 3X magnifying sheets to be able to read books.

The Glass Half Empty stance is because of the article about Planned Parenthood and their vile practices. Hopefully PET will get people on the Supreme Court who will take another look at Roe v Wade and decide (correctly) that this is 1 bad law and 2 an issue for the state legislatures. The alt left took it to Federal Court because the State Legislatures all refused to legalize the murder of babies.

        • Richard,
Cataracts scatter blue light so using a cooler temperature light source, 2700k (yellowish) you may find easier for reading. If this is in an anglepoise task lamp you may direct the light and vary the illumination. Also, a typoscope, (matt black card with a reading slot), can reduce the reflected light off the page.
Dark yellow paper and larger black print can help.

On your phone or tablet you could reverse the polarity with white text on black background.

And Anti-glare glasses and/or baseball cap for sunny days.

Such are the difficulties looking through a dirty windscreen when the sun starts shining.

          ; )

        • …..

Magnifiers such as eschenbach use aspheric lenses so that the page is magnified across the whole of the lens. Cheap magnifiers magnify in the middle and are blurred at the edges. (convex lenses).

Reading glasses are up to 4 dioptre power and stand-magnifiers are made shorter to work with them. (Otherwise you lift them off the page to focus on the print).

The light on the magnifier may have different color caps, yellow or green, to reduce the blue light shone on the page.

Your smart phone can use a magnifier app to then capture text and turn it into a variety of text and background colors.

A camera can plug into a tv to put the image of text onto the screen.

An optical character reader scanner can utilize a screen reader to synthetically read the text or have a human-spoken audio book version.
