“A German national of Pakistani origin was allegedly tortured and killed by her husband in Jhelum, the police said on Wednesday.

While rumours of honour killing were rife, Jhelum police chief Hassan Asad Alvi told The Express Tribune that it was too early to issue statements regarding the suspect’s motive. Police have taken the husband and the victim’s son into custody, along with an alleged facilitator, adding that an interrogation was under way, DPO Alvi said…”

  3. Hans Tietmeyer, forefather of the euro, dies aged 85 (DW, Dec 28, 2016)
    http://www.dw.com/en/hans-tietmeyer-forefather-of-the-euro-dies-aged-85/a-36934183

“Hans Tietmeyer held a major leadership role in two of Germany’s most important transitions in recent memory: Reunification and the introduction of the euro currency. His passing has been confirmed by the central bank.

Tietmeyer was in charge of the Bundesbank in the aftermath of German reunification until after the launch of the single European currency to world financial markets in January 1999.

Credited with establishing independence and price stability as a key pillar of the European Central Bank, he believed that member countries had to do their share to maintain competitiveness and sustainable growth. Europe’s central bank was modeled in large part on the Bundesbank and also based in Frankfurt.

“Hans Tietmeyer was an outstanding president, who always acted with the goal of monetary stability in mind,” current Bundesbank chief Jens Weidmann said in a statement on Wednesday. “Our thoughts and sympathies go out to his family.”

    Foretold eurozone crisis

In the run-up to the economic and monetary union, Tietmeyer warned repeatedly that countries joining would face painful adjustments if the project were to work. He said that some member states had to show greater budgetary discipline to avoid a future debt crisis.

“Without adequate prior economic convergence, the path toward monetary union is hugely risky,” he said in Die Welt newspaper in December 1991.

His warnings have been repeated by many financial analysts since the beginning of the eurozone crisis, which started in 2009.

Before joining the Bundesbank, Tietmeyer was a junior finance minister and served as an advisor to former Chancellor Helmut Kohl.

    Murder attempt

During his tenure as Bundesbank president, his tough policies made him a target for left-wing extremists.

He survived an assassination attempt in 1988, claimed by the Red Army Faction, due to his assailant’s gun jamming. But 10 bullet holes were later found in his car.

After stepping hown, Tietmeyer remained one of the foremost experts on the finances of the European Union.

The euro was first introduced as an accounting currency in 1999 but physical coins and banknotes didn’t enter circulation for another three years.”

“After the terror attack on a Berlin Christmas market earlier in December, a majority of Germans want an increased military response, a new poll shows.

The poll conducted by YouGov found that 53 percent of Germans support increased military engagement against the Isis terror group, which is based in eastern Syria and western Iraq.

At the same time, 30 percent of respondents were against Germany upping its military efforts in the Middle Eastern conflict zone…”

      http://www.dw.com/en/alleged-accomplice-to-suspected-christmas-market-attacker-arrested-in-berlin/a-36932349

“German police have arrested a 40-year-old Tunisian man on suspicion of being an accomplice in the Berlin Christmas Market attack. Twelve people were killed in the attack claimed by the “Islamic State” (IS).

Berlin police made the arrest early on Wednesday after searching the home and business premises of a 40-year-old Tunisian man in the southern Berlin district of Tempelhof.

Investigators were reportedly led to the alleged accomplice after finding his contact details in the phone belonging to the main suspect, Anis Amri…”

“Italian police on Wednesday carried out raids in connection with contacts Berlin Christmas market terror killer Anis Amri had while in jail for four years in Italy, sources said.

One search took place near Latina south of Rome, they said.

Police said the searches were carried out against persons in radical Islamist circles. Amr, 24, who killed 12 people in Berlin on December 19 and was shot dead by Italian police near Milan December 23, is believed to have been radicalised while in an Italian jail.

He reportedly arrived in Italy in 2011 and was incarcerated at Palermo’s Ucciardone Prison after a conviction for arson, bodily harm, threats, and damages. Italy then issued a deportation order, but this was not carried out because Tunisian authorities failed to recognize him as a national in time. He then fled to Germany, where it turns out he used several different identities and where police stopped him at least once with fake Italian ID…”

  5. Syrian migrant numbers in Germany ‘SET TO DOUBLE’ following family reunification laws (express, Dec 28, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/748054/Syria-migrant-crisis-Germany-double-family-reunification-Angela-Merkel-Johannes-Singhammer

“GERMANY could soon be home to half a million additional Syrian migrants after a senior government figure warned the country’s family reunification laws could place an “extraordinarily great challenge” on local authorities.

Johannes Singhammer, vice president of the Germany’s parliament (known as the Bundestag), warned: “The burden of family members’ immigration could be higher in the immediate future than the burden of newly arriving Syrian refugees.

“According to my information from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees [BAMF], each recognised Syrian refugee will bring at least one family member.”

He claimed this could result in a crisis for German local authorities, adding: “There may not be enough living space, teachers, and educators at some point.”…”

    • What idiot let that suit go through? They are illegal immigrants, they don’t have a right to entry into Britain. The leftist that thought up this idea should be forced to pay the court costs of the government as well as the kids and pay for their care while they await deportation to their home country.

  6. Rampaging Syrian migrants KICK BABY on bus, then attack paramedics trying to treat child (express, Dec 28, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/747942/Rampaging-Syrian-migrants-KICK-BABY-bus-attack-paramedics

“MIGRANTS kicked a one-year-old baby on a bus then attacked paramedics with BELTS as they tried to treat the infant.

The shocking attack happened at approximately 9pm on Sunday night in Augsburg, one of Germany’s oldest cities.

Residents were being evacuated following the discovery of a bomb from the Second World War and some had boarded a replacement night bus when a fight broke out.

Several Syrian migrants erupted with anger because of a pram taking up space on the bus.

Migrants hurled abuse at other passengers before a fight broke out, with four of the Syrian men using the handles on the bus to hoist themselves up and attack women and old people to try and drag them into the fighting, according to an eyewitness.

The migrants paid no attention to anyone in their way, at one point kicking a one-year-old in the face.

Paramedics were called and arrived on the scene to help the injured but the men began attacking them with belts – not letting up until the police were called.

Police have now launched an investigation into what happened.

The incident comes amidst heightened tensions in Germany after the attack on a German Christmas market by a migrant in which 12 people were killed.”

    • Now we know why the animals were upset over a kuffer baby taking up space that a Moslem could use.

It shouldn’t take many more incidents like this before the German government and police won’t be able to prevent the Germans from fighting back. Note I said shouldn’t because it may take a lot more. News of this attack will spread over the social networks and blogs but will be suppressed in the propaganda media. Which will make things difficult for the people working at the propaganda media once things go kinetic.

  7. Sweden savaged after LOSING child brides after allowing them to STAY with migrant husbands (expressed, Dec 28, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/747880/Malmo-loses-track-child-brides-migrant-chaos

“A SWEDISH region has lost track of child brides as young after allowing them to remain with their adult spouses, despite the practice being illegal in the country.

The crisis hit area of Malmo, a coastal city in southern Sweden which has been plagued with a series of car fires, received 65 married minors last year – 61 of them were allowed to continue living with their husbands.

As news of the municipality’s decision to allow the young girls to remain with their spouses emerged, fury erupted across Sweden and the Child Ombudsman hit out against the ruling.

After being reported to the Parliamentary Ombudsman all the cases were reviewed again, however it has now emerged Malmo, which has functioned as a transit municipality, has lost track of two of the young girls.

Despite the vow that the child brides’ cases would be reassessed, Carina Nilsson, chairman of the Social Resource Committee, said it is not known if they are still living their spouses.

The question of the minors’ location was sparked after they were moved to another municipality, however it has now come to light Malmo failed to inform officials at the new location of their marital status.

Defending the chaos, Ms Nilsson said it would be a breach of rights if the couples were forcibly separated…”

  8. NEW YEAR’S EVE TERROR: TWO attacks foiled as helicopters with MACHINE GUNS guard cities (express, Dec 28, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/747941/terror-attack-plot-New-Year-Eve-foiled-police-cities

“TERROR police are manning helicopters with MACHINE GUNS to protect New Year’s Eve revellers as at least two plots are foiled amid heightened threat of ISIS attack.

One plot to cause carnage on December 31 has been stopped in France, police revealed.

One man was arrested in Cugnaux, south west France, plotting New Year terror, while a further two were captured in raids in nearby Toulouse. One of those suspects is accused of hatching a plan to attack police officers.

Police sources said the man arrested in Cugnaux, is “known to (police) services, and he is suspected of wanting to carry out an attack on Dec 31”.

In nearby Spain National Police officers uncovered four magazines for AK-47s and roughly 30 cartridges during an operation, where they swooped on two suspected jihadis aged between 18-25 in Madrid.

The pair, whose families are from Gambia and Morocco, were arrested on suspicion of encouraging terrorism.

In response to the heightened terror threat the Spanish Ministry of the Interior has increased security at focal points across the country where crowds are likely to gather for New Year’s celebrations.

Some 800 personnel – 400 from the National Police and 400 from the Municipal Police – will be drafted in to keep revellers safe.

Members of the Civil Protection and firefighters will add to the heavy uniformed presence.

The particular events the security will focus on will be New Year’s Eve in Madrid square Puerta del Sol, the popular race of San Silvestre Vallecana in the city and the Cavalcade of the Three Wise Men.

Another traditional event which normally welcome scores of visitors, eating grapes in Puerta del Sol, has seen its capacity slashed to 25,000 people.

In San Silvestre Vallecana, where the suspected terrorists were arrested, an extra 300 police officers will be deployed to protect the area’s famous race, supported by helicopters.

Italy, where the Berlin Christmas market attacker Anis Amri was shot dead, is beefing up its own security for New Year Eve’s parties for fear of attacks from a ‘lone wolf’.

The Berlin tragedy and previous attacks on UK soil including the killing of fusilier Lee Rigby, have struck fear into the Italian authorities.

Policeman, soldiers and anyone in uniform is seen as a potential target for jihadis.

An extra 800 specially-trained in counter-terrorism police officers will be stationed around Milan, Rome and Turin, the cities feared to be most at risk of terrorism.

Armoured cars and powerful weapons will be part of the reinforced security measures, and a fleet of helicopters will be drafted in to protect New Year’s Eve partygoers.

The Italian Air Force moved two jets to Cameri in order to be able to respond immediately to an attack in the north the country.

The Chief of Aviation, Enzo Ceccarelli, has ordered rescue helicopters to be equipped with machine guns.

He said the reason behind the unprecedented move was to allow the crafts to return fire with “helicopters or drones with hostile intentions.”….”

  9. BREXIT WARNING: 12 MILLION more migrants to arrive in UK in 25 years without hard Brexit (express, Dec 28, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/747940/Brexit-warning-12-million-migrants-arrive-UK-without-hard-Brexit

“MASS immigration will continue at “unacceptable” levels for at least the next two decades unless Britain makes a full break with Brussels, a report predicted last night.

Figures showed that annual net migration to the UK from EU countries would be unlikely to fall below 155,000 in the “medium term” if the country stays in the EU’s Single Market.

And the Government’s ability to reduce the influx will be “extremely limited” as long as the EU’s free movement rules remain in force.

The disturbing forecast of near-record levels of migration for years ahead was set out in a report from the population think tank Migration Watch. It was being seen last night as a devastating blow to campaigners for a so-called “soft Brexit” that retain the UK’s full Single Market membership.

Supporters of a full break with Brussels insisted that snatching back control over immigration was at the heart of the vote to leave the EU in last summer’s referendum on the UK’s membership of the bloc.

lp Mehmet, vice-chairman of Migration Watch UK, said: “This research spells out the very serious consequences for our society of net migration continuing at its present scale with membership of the single market resulting in a relentless increase in our population.

“An increase of anything like 12 million in just 25 years is, quite simply, unacceptable to the British public and certainly not what they voted for in the referendum.”

Tory MP Philip Hollobone said: “Migration Watch’s forecasts have always been thoroughly reliable and are the best we are going to get from anyone…”

  10. Chicago Backs Off Policing Because Of ‘Racism’

Chicago’s yearlong shooting rampage picked up steam over Christmas weekend, leaving 61 people shot, 11 fatally. Seven were killed on Christmas Day alone, more than on the three previous Christmases combined, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Gangbangers targeted each other’s holiday gatherings as if in deliberate mockery of the season. Two young girls were shot while sitting in a van at 11:30 p.m. Monday by a presumed gang rival of the younger one’s father.
