The problem I see is that without the physical possession of the gold it can’t be used to back the dollar, if someone goes to a bank and wants gold coins instead of the paper bills we have to have possession of the gold to give the person demanding gold.
A lot of people are worried about the collapse of the dollar, what isn’t mentioned is that if/when the dollar goes down so does the currency of the rest of the world. Unless the other nations have enough gold reserves to cover their currency (no one has enough gold to cover all of their currency) their money will collapse at the same time. This is the nightmare of the nations who want their currency to become the new reserve currency. China with their small indigenous gold production is out of the running, the five nations with the worlds top gold production are Russia, South Africa, Canada, the United States and Australia. These are the nations that are in the running to be the top monetary dogs after the collapse. Various South American nations and Mexico are close to being on that list as are the nations with large silver mines. The nations that have to worry are those with limited to no indigenous gold or silver production and have little to no manufacturing or internal service industries to bring in precious metals.

If western countries aren’t ready to legally intern known radical islamists, then can’t they use electronic tracking–like ankle bracelets. Let the police seek a judge’s order for the ankle bracelet.
Do they have enough evidence to justify that order? If not no Judge that wants to keep their job will issue the order.
The pattern is clear, the number of attacks is increasing with what is turning into daily attacks some where in the world and often multiple attacks every day. This probably means that the various Sunni terror groups are under orders from the Brotherhood to move to the next level in the conquest of Western Civilization. If memory serves the next level is for the military weapons to be brought out and Islamic sanctuaries to be set up in the major cities. Once these are established they are going to start raids into non Islamic areas bordering the new states within a state driving the non Moslems out and expanding the conquered territory until they control the entire city.
In the US the Black Panthers seem to be getting ready to try and establish no go areas in the black neighborhoods in various cities, the Moslems in the US have already established several but don’t appear to be ready to move to the next level yet.
