She hadn’t counted on the double standard applied to Muslims in the West, or government officials’ intense fear of being labeled Islamaphobic.
According to Saeed, herself a practicing Muslim, a Muslim constable told her that female genital mutilation—a sickening practice that has been outlawed in Britain since 1985—ought to be legal. Another said women should report domestic violence to sharia courts instead of police (except in cases of extreme violence). Yet another Muslim officer said that what Pakistan needs is a “strict religious solution… like the Taliban” to resolve its security problems.

Thank you for bringing back some precious memories. I spent several hours (and walked several miles) examining every last gallery in the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien (Vienna’s Art History Museum), where the video’s dance sequences of Morgenblätter were performed. It was moving beyond words to once again see the stunning architectural beauty and know that I had walked those exact same floors. What a fine Christmas present!

Javaria Saeed says Muslim officers were allowed to get away with comments which would get their white colleagues fired
A former counter-terrorism officer has claimed the Metropolitan Police ignored evidence of extremism among its officers for fear of being labelled “Islamophobic”.
Javaria Saeed, a practising Muslim, said she had complained to her bosses after hearing a fellow Muslim officer say FGM should not be criminalised because it was a “clean and honourable practice”.
She said the same officer also said female Muslim victims of domestic violence should go to local Sharia courts rather than the police for help except in the “serious violent cases”.
But when she raised her concerns with managers they refused to take action because they were afraid of appearing racist.
Ms Saeed, who worked for Scotland Yard for 10 years, told The Sunday Times she had been demonised by some of her fellow Muslim officers for not wearing the veil and was told she was “better off at home looking after her husband”.
The 35-year-old said she resigned in March from the force’s Muslim Contact Unit (MCU) after being fed up of the “political correctness” which allowed an “us and them” culture to develop among the 600 Muslim officers.
She claimed the Met applied a different standard when investigating allegations of racist by Muslim officers than non-Muslim ones.
She said: “Racism in the Met is not from white officers in my case, but from Muslim officers who the service refused to properly investigate because they were afraid of being called Islamophobic and racist.

My first platonic contact with a homosexual was my childhood best friend. His father sexually abuse his sister, and my younger fourteen year old brother, (mummy’s too soon weened boy) got drawn in to this needy sexual-victim/predator getting her pregnant, while he expressed his love and devotion for me. Which I kindly thanked him and said I was not inclined. Then why aren’t most Black American men gay? After the illegitimacy rate amongst American Blacks is a staggering 73%. It’s difficult to argue with you about this. Black misogyny is very much like Muslim misogyny. Their shared brutality (often spawned by trivial, unintended, or even just perceived slights—again, a common Muslim trait) is another issue as well. Also, the chronic inability of heterosexual Black males to maintain monogamous relationships strongly resembles the avoidance of women a gay man might exhibit.
More than anything, please know how much I admire your refusal to shrink from using precise terms. For starters, the monumental hypocrisy of Black indignation at anyone else (of another race) calling them “nigger” even as they sing, shout, and label each other as “niggers” goes beyond all credibility.
My personal view is that nobody else is obliged to stop using the word nigger until Blacks lead by example and banish the epithet from common usage in their own culture. I don’t get it…are you saying this scene in a mosque is interesting..or are you making fun of it ?…there is nothing wrong with this ritual, and I think you ought to think really had about including this kind of stuff in your fight against jihad….it demeans you and your fight.all religions have rituals that without context (and even sometimes with) seem odd….maybe I am missing something here,…please educate me!..but if you hate all religions and all rituals then I suppose we just have a very basic difference….
