  1. Yesterday I asked why was Orban criticizing US foreign policy? Why invite more wrath from an already hostile American administration? Indeed, if currency wars are nigh, then positioning ones nation firmly in the eastern camp (with gold) is critical.

Such a war may cause a dramatic drop in the value of western (US) currencies, resulting in much higher inflation. It’s a tough call, but the real “nuclear” card is about destroying the USD and it’s current world reserve currency status.

Unfortunately, one must assume that George Soros is only a thousand miles ahead of us on this one.

  2. Huge British military base to open in Middle East to fight ISIS and protect oil routes (express, Oct 29, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/726504/British-military-Navy-Middle-East-terror-Bahrain-Michael-Fallon

“A MASSIVE Middle Eastern military base will be opened by Britain for the first time in more than 40 years amid growing global tensions.

Around 600 UK military personnel will be stationed at the Bahrain Royal Navy facility, which will be used as a platform to stamp out terror in the volatile region.

HMS Juffair, built at a cost of many millions of pounds, will be opened by Prince Charles and help Britain retain its foothold in the Middle East.

Bahrain has paid most of the £30million-plus cost, with the UK contributing around £7.5million.

Navy warships will patrol the surrounding waters, closely guarding shipments of oil and gas as well as rooting-out Islamic State extremists in the area…”

  3. Major push for UK mosques to make loud call to prayer THREE TIMES a day (express, Oct 29, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/725909/Petition-UK-mosques-loud-call-prayer-THREE-TIMES-day

“A PETITION to allow loud call for prayer, known as Adhan, in UK mosques has been signed by more than 25 thousand people.

The petition on the UK Government website has received 25,221 signatures.

Those behind the petition say: “The adhan, or Islamic call to prayer, is an integral part of the Muslim faith.

“The number of people practicing the religion of Islam in the United Kingdom exceeds three million.

“Some neighbourhood towns have more than 50 per cent Muslim population.”

The petition has asked the Government to allow loud call for prayer at least three times a day in highly Muslim populated areas.

It says: “I believe it is the right time to experiment and allow highly Muslim populated areas with a loud call for prayer at least three times a day, not during anti-social hours.”

The petition was particularly popular in Hodge Hill in Birmingham with 765 signatories and East Ham in London, where it got 940 signatures.

The Government’s official response to the petition has advised people to speak to their local authority about public calls to worship.

Officials said: “The Government recognises the unique contribution that people of faith make to their own local communities and to wider society.”

Adhan is a short verse recited to summon Muslims to mosque, normally amplifies with a microphone from the top of a mosque.

The prayer is normally called out five times a day, it recites the Takbir, which states that God is great. Also stated is the Shahada, which is about Muhammed being the messenger of God.

Adhan is allowed in some mosques in the UK, in 1986, East London Mosque was one of the first in the UK to be allowed to use loudspeakers to broadcast the prayer.”

Bab El-Oued, a popular district of Algier, in 1989, a few months after the riots. Young Boualem works six nights a week in a French bakery. On the rooftop of his apartment building the fundamentalists have installed a loudspeaker which is now broadcasting the Imam’s word and the fundamentalist’s hateful propaganda and therefore preventing Boualem from sleeping. Unable to stand the noise any longer, in a fit of madness, he destroys the loudspeaker and throws it into the sea. But he’s quickly filled with guilt and apprehension for what he has done. Desecrating the property of the mosque is a sin, and now he finds himself in a relentless pursuit. The blunder is taken as a pretext by the Islamists to put the district under their control…

  8. Russian, US jets had near miss over Syria: US officials

Aboard a US military aircraft (AFP) – A Russian fighter flew dangerously close to a US warplane over eastern Syria, US defence officials said Friday, highlighting the risks of a serious mishap in the increasingly crowded airspace.

The “near miss” occurred late on October 17, when a Russian jet that was escorting a larger spy plane manoeuvred near an American warplane, Air Force Lieutenant General Jeff Harrigian said.

The Russian jet came to “inside of half a mile” of the US jet, he added.

Another US military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the American pilot was buffeted by the turbulence from the Russian jet’s engines.

“It was close enough you could feel the jet wash of the plane passing by,” the official said.

It appeared the Russian pilot had simply not seen the US jet — either on radar or visually. It was dark and the planes were flying without lights.

“I would attribute it to not having the necessary situational awareness given all those (planes) operating together,” Harrigian said.

The incident raises serious questions about the extent to which pilots can track the complex airspace they operate in.

    • Close call: Russia-U.S. ‘near-miss’ problem moves to Syrian air space
      By J.E. Dyer October 29, 2016

It looks like the vaunted air space coordination between the U.S. and Russia in Syria isn’t producing a safe flying environment.

U.S. officials said Friday that a Russian fighter “flew dangerously close” to a U.S. warplane in eastern Syria on 17 October – something that can’t possibly be unavoidable, in light of the prior agreement by Russia and the U.S., in 2015, to deconflict air operations there.

The AFP report provides this description:

The near miss occurred late on October 17, when a Russian jet that was escorting a larger spy plane manoeuvred in the vicinity of an American warplane, Air Force Lieutenant General Jeff Harrigan said.

The Russian jet came to “inside of half a mile”, he added.

Another US military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the American pilot could feel the turbulence produced by the Russian jet’s engines.

“It was close enough you could feel the jet wash of the plane passing by,” the official said.

It appeared the Russian pilot had simply not seen the US jet, as it was dark and the planes were flying without lights.

“I would attribute it to not having the necessary situational awareness given all those platforms operating together,” Harrigan said.

      • Read the article it explains how the incident happened and what is wrong in that region. There is no excuse for the tension besides the Obama/Clinton/Kerry determination to play nation building and king making in the Middle East. The only excuse the US has for interfering in the affairs of foreign nations is when those affairs interfer with US interests and the interests of our allies. The three idiots mentioned above are working in the best interests of the Moslem Brotherhood who hates the US and the idea of democracy. To help the Brotherhood the trio of idiots have brought us to the brink of war with a nuclear armed nation and they don’t seem to care, in fact they seem to be happy with this threat.

        • “The only excuse the US has for interfering in the affairs of foreign nations is when those affairs interfer[e] with US interests and the interests of our allies.”

For Globalists, EVERYTHING imaginable can interfere with their interests.

This is the problem with having multinational corporations influencing the American political system. Just think of how often alarm bells will be ringing in a Hillary White House. She has her fingers in so many pies that there will be no end to American overseas adventurism. All of those Clinton Foundation and State Department quid-pro-quos will translate into sortie after sortie for the US military. Big Government + Big Military = Match made in heaven.

          • Only if she rebuilds the US military otherwise we won’t have enough men, equipment or funds to deploy a troop of Boy Scouts.

Another thing that would interfere would be if she and Obama do manage to start a war between the US and Russia. I find that possibility scarier then the modern leftist version of gunboat diplomacy. Putin doesn’t like being accused of things he hasn’t done, he doesn’t like being threatened and he doesn’t like ham handed interference in his plans.

  9. 550 Islamic terror strikes on UK planned and weak border security is to blame (express, Oct 29, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/726331/Border-control-Britain-terrorists-smuggling-report-warned-security

“A TERRIFYING 550 Islamic terror attacks on homeland targets in Britain are being planned RIGHT NOW, a high level report to Government says.

Ever-vigilant police have stopped 10 major attacks, which would have led to mass casualties, in the last two years.

But gaps in Britain’s border security, and relentless determination on the part of twisted Islamists to kill innocent people, mean authorities know a serious Islamic terror attack will succeed at some point.

The nation’s “leaky” borders urgently need shoring up to stop terrorists smuggling arms into the country the report has warned.

The independent study identified “real concerns” about how extremists intent on a Paris-style attack could get hold of firearms.

Despite high quality work done by police and the security services, a terror atrocity is still a matter of “not if but when”, the report says.

The study, written by Lord Toby Harris of Haringey, also calls on Scotland Yard to “strong resist” pressure to move the elite counter-terrorism command to the National Crime Agency.

Apart from strengthening our borders, Lord Harris says London needs more security barriers to thwart a Nice-style terror attack.

His report also recommends improving security on the River Thames and at London’s City Airport.

Lord Harris also wants to more airborne surveillance by the Border Force and CCTV cameras on all mainline and tube trains.

Stop and search operations on cars and lorries entering the country should be increased and more land and sea-based Border Force personnel recruited.

Lord Harris was asked by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to carry out an independent review of the city’s readiness to deal with a major terrorist incident in the wake of atrocities in Brussels and Paris…”

  10. Andrew Neil vindicated after court agrees Lewisham imam Shakeel Begg IS a HATE PREACHER (express, Oct 29, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/726546/Imam-Shakeel-Begg-libel-case-BBC-court-extremist-views-Andrew-Neil

“A LONDON imam who tried to sue the BBC for calling him “extremist” lost his libel claim after a judge said he had promoted hate speech and religious violence.

Shakeel Begg, chief imam at Lewisham, had his libel claim thrown by the High Court yesterday, where it was concluded that the broadcaster was within its rights to call the preacher an extremist.

Mr Justice Haddon-Cave said the imam was a “Jekyll and Hyde character” who promoted dangerous messages and extremist views to Muslim audiences.

He said: “On occasions when it has suited him…he has shed the cloak of respectability and revealed the horns of extremism.”

Begg has cultivated a respectable image by being involved in inter-faith work with Jewish and Christian leaders.

But the imam is also known for being extremely influential among followers of hardline conservative Islam in the UK.

The Lewisham mosque leader launched a libel complain against the BBC after presenter of Sunday Politics Andrew Neil accused him of promoting extremist views on air.

Mr Neil said the imam had praised the jihad as being a great deed.

During the trial the BBC presented six speeches given by the imam, of which four -the court found- were promoting violence.

The court found the imam to be advocating for extremism in the other two speeches.

Mr Justice Haddon-Cave said there was an “overwhelming case of justification for the BBC”….”

    • Hmm, but imam can STILL promote jihad? NO one will throw him to jail? NO trial for hate speeches?

  11. Left-wing party demands 1,000 strong racism police and national anti-immigration register (express, Oct 29, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/726398/racism-police-immigration-migrants-register-party-political-Netherlands-patrol

“THE first political party ‘for migrants by migrants’ has called for a thousand-strong racism police force to patrol the streets and prosecute anyone who falls foul of their new rules.

Think, which became an official political party in the Netherlands last year, has produced a manifesto calling for the new force to be set up.

The founders, Tunahan Kuzu and Selçuk Öztürk, created the group after being booted out of the Dutch Labour Party.

A national ‘racism register’ would be established listing all citizens who badmouth migrants and immigration.

Any who are convicted would be banned from jobs in the public sector and within government.

The 1,000 strong racism police would fine people who are being discriminatory or racist – crimes which they believe too few people are prosecuted for – and current penalties would skyrocket under the party.

Any citizens who are found guilty of being racist should be sent to re-education classes, they say, similar to classes for speeding motorists.

They would be aimed at: “Fighting the ideas underlying everyday manifestations of discrimination.”

And a ban on words like ‘native’ and ‘immigrant’ would be introduced, alongside a national holiday to celebrate diversity.

The party aims to reinvent Dutch national identity, and the program is geared towards tackling the institutional racism it says is endemic in the Netherlands.

And part of that is scrapping the government’s ideals of integration, claiming this should not be expected of migrants, but rather an atmosphere of ‘mutual acceptance’ should be adopted.

To achieve this, a ‘mutual acceptance monitor’ should be set up, Think says.

Tackling racism should begin in schools, with positive attitudes promoted in the classroom through citizenship classes, and that students are regularly tested to see if they are meeting the required benchmark.

It says: “Racism and discrimination are stubborn issues in our society.

“Equal opportunities that every one should have, are being opposed in not acceptable ways because of these issues.”

The 17-page document also calls for the renaming of street and museums which are linked to the country’s slave trading history.

It says: “Think therefore want to give more consideration to the history of slavery in education, as well as the decolonisation of our street and museums, because too few people know for example that the Coen tunnel is named after a racist and brutal colonial power.

“Today we would describe him as a war criminal.”

The party passed the 1,000 members mark this year, meaning they and their two members of parliament are now eligible for state subsidy.”

    • “THE first political party ‘for migrants by migrants’ has called for a thousand-strong racism police force to patrol the streets and prosecute anyone who falls foul of their new rules.”

Until the Left continues abandons its purposefully fallacious belief that anti-Islamic sentiment is “racist” (remember, Muslims come in ALL colors), then said racism will remain nothing other than a vague, catchall term whose only purpose will be for the concocting of spurious and disingenuous legal accusations which kangaroo courts (e.g., those prosecuting Geert Wilders) will base their convictions upon.

These are the seeds of Orwell’s Thought Police and nothing else.

      • These aren’t the seeds, these are the sprouts and must be uprooted before they grow to become full thought control police.

        • Richard, we are in raucous, vehement, and phenomenal agreement. I am rapidly losing count when it comes to enumerating the different manifestations of vague, easily distorted, quasi-legalistic, intentionally-ill-defined terms like “hate speech”, “hate crime” and whatever new phobia-du-jour that has surfaced in the intellectual septic tank that passes for Liberalism’s modern brain trust.

The elastic meanings that such conveniently nebulous twaddle is capable of spawning, and how that psychobabble can subsequently be all-too-easily (mis)construed, allows whatever apprehending agency or prosecutorial office a degree of interpretive latitude to where the proverbial barn door looks like a microscopic target.

The United States desperately needs a well-subscribed-to, and fiercely loyal, Constitutional Party that will not tolerate so-called “activist judges” or anyone else who wants to “interpret” the Constitution. Far too many times we’ve been fed the line of taurine fecal matter about how, “The Constitution is a living document.” [cue fulsome political gush].

Just as often, such a patently false declaration is succeeded by some pretentious “authority” twisting and stretching this supremely wrought document like so much molten saltwater taffy.

There can only be one reply to such intolerable “living document” tommyrot, as in:

“The Constitution is CUT IN STONE. FULL STOP. If you want to alter it, pass an amendment or hold a Constitutional Convention. Otherwise, please go straight to hell, do not pass GO, and do not collect $200.00.”

PS: In my original comment, please ignore the third word, “continues”.

          • I have been saying that for decades and have been ignored when I say that. Sadly it will take many decades to get us out of this mess, we can’t turn society around overnight it will take time to train people to stand on their own feet and not depend on the nanny state.

I agree that we need a political party that will fight for constitutional integrity a start will be for Trump to appoint only constructionist Judges who will work to over turn the activist Judge’s laws.

  12. Hillary’s definition of a conspiracy theorist: anyone who doesn’t believe her lies
By Benny Huang October 29, 2016

Watching Hillary Clinton run from a hardball question like a roach from Raid should give every American a sense of satisfaction. When a reporter asked the former secretary of state about the Project Veritas undercover videos, which featured disgraced former Democratic operatives Scott Foval and Bob Creamer bragging about provoking violence at Trump rallies and perpetrating mass voter fraud, Clinton panicked and pulled the plug on the entire press conference. “I know nothing about this,” said Clinton. “I’m not — I can’t deal with every one of [James O’Keefe’s] conspiracy theories but I hope you all have something to eat and something to drink on the way back to New York. Thank you!”

Conspiracy theories? Was she really trying to imply that videotaped confessions from two of her surrogates amount to a “conspiracy theory?” Yes, she was. It’s become something of a habit for her — every time Hillary wants to deny plain facts she calls them a “conspiracy theory” — which is quite delicious coming from Ms. “Vast Rightwing Conspiracy” herself.

  13. FOX NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Comey memo to FBI staffers says election, timing required disclosure of renewed probe

FBI Director James Comey told his bureau that he broke with custom in alerting lawmakers that the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server was being reopened because of its political sensitivity.

In an internal memo obtained by Fox News, the beleaguered director noted that the FBI typically would not communicate with the public when reopening a case, according to a Department of Justice source. But Comey said he had to in this case because Clinton is seeking the White House in an election on Nov. 8.

“Of course we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed,” Comey wrote. “I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record.

“At the same time, however, given that we do not know the significance of this newly discovered collection of emails, I don’t want to create a misleading impression,” Comey’s letter continued. “In trying to strike that balance, in a brief letter, and in the middle of an election season, there is significant risk of being misunderstood, but I wanted you to hear directy from me about it.”

The bombshell revelation that newly discovered emails had prompted a new look into whether Clinton or those around her had broken the law my mishandling sensitive information rocked the race for the White House Friday.

Comey informed key Republican and Democrat lawmakers that new emails had surfaced that were relevant to the investigation, and warranted a new look.

Comey announced in July that the FBI had wrapped up a year-long investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server for official business and concluded that while she was “extremely careless,” he could not recommend that the Justice Department seek an indictment. The decision was blasted by Republicans, and FoxNews.com reported earlier this month that career DOJ and FBI workers were furious.

Word of the server, at Clinton’s home in Chappaqua, N.Y., first broke in early 2015. Clinton had used the private email server to conduct government business while serving from 2009-2013, but insisted that she handed over all work-related emails to the State Department.

The FBI investigation determined that thousands of messages that would later be marked classified by the State Department retroactively were on the server. Federal law makes it a crime for a government employee to possess classified information in an unsecure manner, and the relevant statute does not require a finding of intent.

    • zero hedge – DOJ’s Loretta Lynch Tried To Squash Comey’s Letter To Congress

Last night a leaked memo was revealed, indicating FBI director James Comey’s stated reasons for reopening the Clinton email probe upon discovering what now appear to be tens of thousands of Huma Abedin emails located on Anthony Weiner’s notebook. Comey revealed two core reasons for the action: a sense of obligation to lawmakers and a concern that word of the new email discovery would leak to the media and raise questions of a coverup. What he did not reveal, and as has emerged overnight from a report by the New Yorker’s Jane Mayer, is that Comey also acted in contravention to DOJ practices, and more importantly, acted contrary to the “preference” of DOJ head Loretta Lynch, whose infamous meeting with Bill Clinton on the Phoenix tarmac at the end of June will likely be reassessed in light of these latest revelations.

According to the New Yorker, “Comey’s decision to make public new evidence that may raise additional legal questions about Clinton was contrary to the views of the Attorney General, according to a well-informed Administration official. Lynch expressed her preference that Comey follow the department’s longstanding practice of not commenting on ongoing investigations, and not taking any action that could influence the outcome of an election, but he said that he felt compelled to do otherwise.”

Traditionally, the Justice Department has advised prosecutors and law enforcement to avoid any appearance of meddling in the outcome of elections, even if it means holding off on pressing cases. One former senior official recalled that Janet Reno, the Attorney General under Bill Clinton, “completely shut down” the prosecution of a politically sensitive criminal target prior to an election. “She was adamant—anything that could influence the election had to go dark,” the former official said.

      And the punchline:

“according to the Administration official, Lynch asked Comey to follow Justice Department policies, but he said that he was obliged to break with them because he had promised to inform members of Congress if there were further developments in the case. He also felt that the impending election created a compelling need to inform the public, despite the tradition of acting with added discretion around elections. The Administration official said that Lynch and Justice Department officials are studying the situation, which he called unprecedented.”

While Loretta Lynch’s reputation may now be tarnished, alongside that of James Comey, who is almost certainly a dead public servant walking, and will be promptly fired by either republicans or democrats after the election, one wonders how events would have played out under Lynch’s predecessor Eric Holder:

Matthew Miller, a Democrat who served as the public-affairs director at the Justice Department under Holder, recalled that in one case, the department waited until after an election to send out subpoenas. “They didn’t want to influence the election—even though the subpoenas weren’t public,” he said. “People may think that the public needs to have this information before voting, but the thing is the public doesn’t really get the information. What it gets is an impression that may be false, because they have no way to evaluate it. The public always assumes when it hears that the F.B.I. is investigating that there must be something amiss. But there may be nothing here at all. That’s why you don’t do this.”

Miller added that “Comey is an outstanding law-enforcement officer but he mistakenly thinks that the rules don’t apply to him. But there are a host of reasons for these rules.” Or perhaps the DOJ’s rules pandering to politicians were flawed from the beginning?

One thing appears obvious: by killing the probe into Clinton this summer, Comey burned one half of the bridge; reopening the probe on Friday was the other half.

“I don’t really blame Comey,” another former Justice Department official said. “But it’s troubling.” This official thought that Comey “didn’t want to look tainted. This new information comes to him, and he’s afraid if he doesn’t make it public until after the election he’ll be impeached. People will say he lied to Congress. But in the end he did the self-protective thing. Was it the right thing? Put it this way: it isn’t what previous Administrations have done.”

Of course it isn’t, and that’s what the Clinton campaign had been betting on.

Meanwhile, having been the Democrats’ best friend, Comey is now – according to prominent Democrat Howard Dean – on the same side as Putin.

Ironically Comey put himself on the same side as Putin.

      — Howard Dean (@GovHowardDean) October 29, 2016

At least when things don’t go your way, you can still just blame the Russians…

      http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-29/dojs-loretta-lynch-tried-spike-comeys-probe-reopening-announcement

    • It is also possible that Comey thinks Trump is going to win and is trying to do things to keep Trump from firing him for corruption.

      • and if the emails were already in the FBI’s hands and found their own way onto Mr. Weiner’s computer?

    • Clinton Email Update: Judicial Watch Releases Former Clinton Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin Deposition Testimony

Judicial Watch today released the deposition transcript of Huma Abedin, former deputy chief of staff to Hillary Clinton throughout her four years as secretary of state and who also had an email account on the clintonemail.com system. The deposition transcript is available here.

      PDF :
      http://www.judicialwatch.org/document-archive/jw-v-state-abedin-deposition-01363/

Abedin testified it was Clinton’s decision to use her non-state.gov email; to her knowledge that only Hillary Clinton, Abedin and Chelsea Clinton had accounts on the clintonemail.com system; and that the clintonemail.com system may have interfered with Mrs. Clinton’s ability to do her job.

Abedin is among seven depositions of former Clinton top aides and State Department officials that Judicial Watch has questioned under oath. Under Secretary for Management Patrick F. Kennedy testified today, Wednesday, June 29.

This discovery arises in a Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit that seeks records about the controversial employment status of Huma Abedin, former deputy chief of staff to Clinton. The lawsuit was reopened because of revelations about the clintonemail.com system. (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:13-cv-01363)). Judge Sullivan ordered that all deposition transcripts be made publicly available.

  15. Berkeley Protesters Harass Students and Disrupt Campus

The Blacks are protesting to get segregation reinstated!

    • Actually it is black, leftists and other idiots who are protesting but they still want to reinstate segregation under the guise of attacking the whites.

      • The moment one of these protesting shites laid a finger on any student attempting to pass through Sather Gate, the campus police should have been arresting them on assault charges. I don’t care what color of person is involved, making unwanted and hostile physical contact with another person is an actionable violation of law.

This bunch of whiny-@ss punks wouldn’t know equality if it bit them on the neck!

        • That is what should have happened, what probably happened is that the police stepped in pulled the kid out of danger and then lectured him about how he shouldn’t have trued to exercise his rights.

    • These coloured people should be careful what they wish for. There is a growing reaction to this anti-white activism.

      • “These coloured people should be careful what they wish for.”

Too right! They seem to forget how an overly protected species tends to lose its survival instincts. The adversity that Whites are experiencing is hardening us for some serious conflicts. Those who crouch behind all the special legislation enacted to create preferential legal treatment will be in for a shock when such inequitable favoritism is scrubbed from the books.

“Compete on a level playing field! Wha…?!?”

        • When the minority persecutes the majority there is eventually a backlash by the majority. We are seeing this backlash start with the Trump campaign.

    • And we have the temerity to criticize white Christian Euros for putting up with abusers from black Africa and Tardistan. We need a great big mirror.

      • That we do, a real big part of the problem is that the left believes its own propaganda. This is always a big mistake because it causes you to vastly underestimate your opponents.

  16. Bulgaria: Scores protest planned refugee housing in Boyanovo

Scores of people protested plans to turn an ex-barracks into a refugee camp in the Bulgarian village of Boyanovo, Saturday.

SOT, Colonel Valeri Georgiev, Ex-military personnel at the Boyanovo unit (Bulgarian): “The allocation of those kind of people, economic migrants, is a betrayal against Bulgaria.”

SOT, Dinko Valev, ‘refugee hunter’ from Yambol (Bulgarian): “I was keeping calm too many times, but now I’m sick. The reason we are here is that most Bulgarian elderly people receive a pension of 200 leva (100 euros), and a refugee grant is 1,080 leva (540 euros). Protest is the most normal thing.”

    • Prison-type refugee center will be built in Boyanovo
      ( Eng subs===>cc )

Authorities have the last word – Internal Minister Rumyana Bachvarova has issued an order to build a prison-type refugee center in the small village of Boyanovo in Yambol oblast. The 700-person village is the unfortunate host of a former military barracks, which will be renovated and repurposed into a migrant redistribution center in which migrants will be held for 2-3 months under 24/7 surveillance until their papers are being processed. The locals fear that authorities will also accommodate migrants in the military living quarters in the village square. The mayor has asked for additional security, and his demands were allegedly accepted.

    From the link:
    ——————————————
Soon, the Saudi billionaire was spending his money quite differently — no more Palestinian grandstanding, no more Saudi telethons, no more CAIR. In 2005, [Prince] Alwaleed [bin Talal] purchased a 5.5 percent stake of voting stock in the Murdoch-owned News Corp (he now owns 7 percent). He also spent $40 million to enlarge Islamic studies on leading American campuses, donating $20 million to Harvard to create a university-wide Islamic studies program, which also boosted Islamic law (sharia) studies on campus, and $20 million to Georgetown to set up the Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding under Islamic apologist John Esposito.

The News Corp. investment began paying off right away. Also in 2005, with Muslims rioting in Paris in the worst street violence since 1968, Alwaleed telephoned Rupert Murdoch, as Alwaleed himself told an audience in Dubai, and said “these are not Muslim riots, they are riots.” Presto, the Fox News crawl about “Muslim riots in Paris” across the bottom of the screen changed to “civil riots.”
    ——————————————

Erick Stakelbeck’s CBN-based (i.e., The Watchman series – now defunct) reporting on Islamic terrorism was far more reliable.

    • Like Yucki said, with the exception of Hannity and a few on the early morning shows FOX has gone over to the Dark Side.

I have been expecting something like this since FOX moved to New York City. There were in the breeding ground of the modern liberals and were being subjected to a lot of sutke pressure. With luck the growing Clinton scandal will drive some of them back to honesty.

  18. Muslim Imperialism Reaches the United Nations

    by Denis MacEoin
    October 29, 2016 at 5:00 am

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/9173/unesco-muslim-imperialism

UNESCO last August planned to vote on the historical status of Jerusalem’s Temple Mount and its associated Western Wall. Back then, this author stated that UNESCO’s plan was to deny any Jewish link to this most central of all Jewish holy sites, to trash a history going back thousands of years, and to claim the Mount and the Wall as Islamic sites.

Islam believes that it is eternal and had therefore preceded the other two great monotheisms, Judaism and Christianity, even though it was only to become visible to the world through Mohammad in the seventh century AD, but entitled to elbow out the two older religions.

Lies by UNESCO to rewrite history, erasing all traces of Judaism and Christianity to favour a jihadist Islamic fancy, were already under way in 2015. UNESCO fraudulently renamed two ancient Biblical Jewish sites, Rachel’s Tomb and the Cave of the Patriarchs — abracadabra — Islamic sites.

Historically, Islam did not even exist until the seventh century.

This is the history of Islam, how it takes over — with both hard jihad (violence) and soft jihad (usurping history, migration [hijrah], political and cultural infiltration), and intimidation (soft jihad with the threat of hard jihad underneath it). What is even more saddening is that often, as with this vote, it is done with the West’s cooperation and voluntary submission.

  19. Italy: Hundreds march in support of refugees in Ferrara

Hundreds of people took to the streets of Ferrara, Saturday in a rally to show support for refugees. The demonstration was organised in opposition to an incident the week before when locals in Gorino blocked the arrival of 12 refugees to their town.

Protesters marched through the streets and rallied outside the Prefectural Government Office. “What happened in Gorino is just the tip of the iceberg” said one protester. A refugee at the march implored “We are human like you; we have blood and feelings like you. Only the colour is different.”

SOT, Refugee (Italian): “We are human like you, we have blood and feelings like you. Only the colour is different. We have come here because of troubles in our countries, like everybody in their countries. We are not here to steal, we are not thieves, but to look for a better life.”

    • Hey, maybe these bleeding heart Italians can be the ones who donate the Armani and Versace apparel all those Viennese crybabies are demanding. If the Austrians had any brains, they’d insist that these African leeches sell their smart phones (and purchase ordinary flip-phones) in order to pay for clothing and shelter of ANY sort.

High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini met with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in Tehran, Saturday, to discuss the Syrian conflict.

Mogherini is expected to leave for Saudi Arabia later in the day. Earlier on Friday, EU’s foreign policy chief met Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

  22. German Magazine Uses Daesh Propaganda Video to Show All is Well in Mosul

In an almost four-minute video, political editor of Spiegel Online Christoph Sydow tried to defend the editorial policy of his magazine regarding the developments in Aleppo and Mosul. However, the shots demonstrated in his video turned out to be the propaganda materials of Daesh terrorists.

The video was supposed to be a response to critical letters of Spiegel Online readers and their comments on social networks. Many of them accused the magazine of spreading propaganda and presenting the situation in the Middle East in a biased manner.

“Again and again, readers have been accusing us of presenting the Aleppo siege as a bad one, and that of Mosul as a good one. That’s not right. Political editor Christoph Sydow explains the similarities and the differences,” Spiegel Online reported.

In the video, Sydow explained the similarities and differences of both situations.

“Eastern Aleppo has been cut off from the outside world for months. There is no help coming to the city. People are starving. There is no drinking water, lack of electricity. In Mosul, the situation is different at the moment. The city can receive supplies; people have water, electricity, enough food. Nobody was starving to death there yet,” Sydow said.

To prove his point of view, the journalist referred to video footage showing that the situation in Mosul is not as bad as one probably imagined. But it turns out that the footage he used was Daesh propaganda material who currently keep Mosul under their control.

According to BILDblog, which sharply criticized the German magazine for the releasing video, the shots of the city were published by Daesh a few days ago to make a false impression that people in the city “live a normal life,” which in fact is not true.

“This is the most recent Daesh propaganda video which was published online five days ago. It is supposed to show normal life in Mosul, happy people, who have everything they need. However, in fact, there is a lack of water, food, medicines and electricity. This is what people from Mosul tell their relatives in secret telephone calls,” the ARD report said.

In the right upper corner of the video, near the logo of the Spiegel magazine, one can see “an Amaq” symbol — the logo of Al-Amaq news agency, a media outlet considered an official part Daesh’s propaganda apparatus. “This is the propaganda material of the so-called ‘Islamic State’ (Daesh),” BILDblog wrote.

Earlier, Germany’s ARD TV channel used the same recordings in its report called “Iraq: Inside Mosul”. However, in contrast to Spiegel, the ARD stated that the information was taken from Daesh propaganda sources.

U.S. officials ordered families of U.S. service members and government workers to return home from southern Turkey on Tuesday due to what they called “continued security concerns in the region.”

On Monday, Sky News reported Islamic State terrorists were planning an “imminent” attack on Jewish schools in Turkey, citing intelligence sources.

The Pentagon and State Department said dependents of American staffers at the U.S. consulate in Adana, the nearby Incirlik air base and two other locations must leave. The so-called “ordered departure” notice means the government will cover relocation costs. Officials said relatives of essential Chief of Mission personnel could stay.

U.S. jets operating out of Incirlik have been conducting strike missions against ISIS since late last year.

  24. NY – Metropolitan Opera stops performance after person sprinkles powder

New York’s Metropolitan Opera has stopped a performance after someone sprinkled an unknown powder into the orchestra pit.

Met spokesman Sam Neuman says Saturday afternoon’s performance of “Guillaume Tell” was canceled during the second intermission because of the incident.

A police spokeswoman says the person who sprinkled the powder fled and is being sought.

Police say one person at the opera house requested medical attention. No details on that person’s condition are available.

The Met also canceled Saturday night’s performance of “L’Italiana in Algeri” because of the investigation.

Neuman says people who had Saturday tickets to either opera can make arrangements with the Met to see a later performance.

      • “Police say one person at the opera house requested medical attention. No details on that person’s condition are available.”

I would hope that this, “one person at the opera house [who] requested medical attention”, will be subjected to comprehensive scrutiny. Yes, long ago, this world (idiotically) resigned itself to accepting an inordinate degree of vulnerability. Many of us have Shrub (i.e., GWB 2.0 and his Patriot Act) to thank for these ridiculously intrusive measures.

That only one person out of several hundred requested medical assistance is pretty damned conspicuous. As in, it had better be someone who was actually in the orchestra pit (for starters).

“This week, the 118th session of the United Nation’s Human Rights Committee examined the 6th periodic report from the Moroccan government, and the Moroccan delegation faced harsh criticism when the committee examined status of women’s rights.

Moroccan publication Medias24 reported that on Monday October 24th and Tuesday the 25th, the UN Committee asked delegates from the Moroccan government several questions about the status of women’s rights, especially violence against women.

In anticipation of this meeting, Mobilizing for Rights Associates, an international non-profit women’s rights organization, had paired up with a multitude of Moroccan non-profits to conduct a study about women’s rights in Morocco, one focused on women’s rights in the family and violence against women.

According to Medias24, the UN asked the delegation about the following:

The absence of civil protection orders for female victims of violence in the law project #103-13

The fact that rape victims could also be prosecuted for taking part in sex outside of marriage

The lack of housing centers for victims of domestic abuse

The persistence of polygamy and child marriage

Discrimination against women in divorce cases

The committee also reminded the delegates that they had asked the government in 2004 to make

  29. ‘Turks in Germany still lack a sense of belonging’ (DW, Oct 29, 2016)
    http://www.dw.com/en/turks-in-germany-still-lack-a-sense-of-belonging/a-36199779

“It’s been 55 years since Germany’s recruitment agreement with Turkey. But many Turks still don’t feel well integrated, says Gökay Sofuoglu, chairman of the Turkish Community in Germany (TGD).

Deutsche Welle: Turkey and what was then West Germany concluded a recruitment agreement for guest workers (“Gastarbeiter”) 55 years ago. How was it for the Turks who came here?

Gökay Sofuoglu: They were of course happy at first to have found work abroad. But they weren’t properly prepared. They were only thinking about earning money and returning to Turkey. Staying wasn’t a consideration, as it was later much differently portrayed.

But many did stay. Now there are about 2.9 million people in Germany with Turkish roots, according to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

What has changed in the last 55 years with regards to the Turks?

Much has changed – for the Turks in Germany, but also of course for Turks in Turkey. There were many families with members who lived abroad, earned a lot of money and invested in Turkey.

For the Turks, the time here began with work and looking toward the future. They only began to worry once people had decided to stay – worry that they were leaving their homeland forever, that they wouldn’t find an apartment in Germany, that they didn’t learn the language, which at first as guest workers wasn’t particularly important either for the German government or the Turks who came here.

You must hear often from German politicians that the Turks aren’t integrated. What are the reasons behind a lack of integration after all this time?

I think the cause lies in that in the beginning people weren’t viewed as having needs, but only viewed as labor. Therefore, measures weren’t undertaken – there was little interest – that those coming here also learnt German. They were here to work: Germany needed extra hands. The so-called guest workers from Turkey were welcomed to that end. It was an oversight that they didn’t also learn the language. This denied them contact to society and everyday contact with people.

Has German politics since learned from its mistakes?

German politicians always say they’ve learned from their mistakes. But when I look at the regulations over the last years or decades – I’ve been here for 36 years – they aren’t very heartening for people in Germany. They more resemble sanctions that don’t convey a sense of belonging. Nevertheless, there have been German courses at language schools for several years.

I think we’re moving in the right direction, albeit 50 years too late.

What are the Turkish immigrants’ biggest shortcomings?

The Turkish immigrants and the Turkish organizations have big shortcomings, too, of course. They are still heavily influenced by politics in Turkey, and are more focused on Turkey’s domestic politics than German interests.

It’s once again the case that Turkish politicians are strongly interested in Turks in Germany, seeing how much the parties go after supporters in Europe. This was the situation 20 years ago: What’s happening in Turkey is more present for Turks here than what’s happening in Germany. That’s no good for life here in Germany.

What about Turkish life here in Germany today?

Turks have a dual life. On one hand, they want to feel they belong in Germany. On the other, they have a lot of hurdles to surmount: equal opportunity in the workplace and when finding a place to live, opportunity for promotion in companies and civil service. Turks are not represented enough in civil service. This has to do with a lack of confidence, though the German state also hasn’t fully accepted that third-generation Turks belong to this country and therefore can work in the interests of this country.

After all these years, many Turks in Germany still don’t feel accepted. What is the cause of this?
It’s because of this lack of sense of belonging. To think that after 55 years here, some still don’t have certain voting rights, that there are still latent forms of everyday racism, that people with Turkish-sounding names have difficulty finding a job or a place to live. In school, too, there are problems if you are from Turkey.

Education is also an important indicator of integration. How has the education level improved over the past 55 years?

Compared with 20 years ago, the education situation is better. There are more high school graduates, more university students – despite how socially disadvantaged Turks as a group are.

The Turks who came here weren’t academics. They were workers, often unskilled, who couldn’t further support their children academically. This made for a low education level also in the second generation. Now in the third generation, we see more jurists, medical professionals and businesspeople. They are more successful than the previous generation.

Gökay Sofuoglu is the national chairperson of the Turkish Community of Germany. The interview was conducted by Jülide Danisman.”
