“AN ALL out attack should take place on Raqqa as well as Mosul in order to wipe the Islamic State off the face of the earth, a US official has claimed.

US Secretary of Defence, Ash Carter, said he wants an assault on the ISIS stronghold in Syria as soon as possible.

He said: “We want to see an isolation operation begin around Raqqa as soon as possible…”

The true scale of the border threat is laid bare in Home Office figures showing how the problem has worsened over time.

Data released under Freedom of Information guidelines provides a snapshot of the crisis under Labour and the Tory/Lib Dem Coalition.

  4. A nation WRECKED by immigration: Do-gooding Swedes turn against migrants amid violence (express, Oct 24, 2016)

“SWEDEN’S open-door policy has WRECKED Europe’s most liberal nation as the Swedes turn against migrants amid an unprecedented rise in violence and sex attacks.

For years Sweden has regarded itself as a “humanitarian superpower” – making its mark by offering refugee to those fleeing war and persecution.

But people’s patience with their visitors is wearing thin following a year of violence, sickening sex assaults and the death of social worker Alexandra Mezher, 22, who was knifed to death at an asylum centre for unaccompanied children at the hands of a Somalian migrant who claimed he was 15.

At the time, her grieving mother, an immigrant herself from the Middle East said: “Immigration has destroyed Sweden.”

Sweden, a country of 9.8million, took 163,000 asylum seekers in 2015.

The influx included 35,400 unaccompanied minors – nine times more than 2015.

But nothing could prepare Stockholm for the rise in crime and an abuse of the criminal system.

And so much so, a nation, which once prided itself on giving a warm welcome to outsiders, has reported a rise in arson attacks against migrant shelters, while support for the right-wing Swedish Democrats has surged.

In January, authorities were forced to admit there were at least 70 girls in migrant centres were asylum child brides, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Meanwhile, officials fear many migrant children are slipping through the net by lying about their age. Some 667 minors reportedly had their ages adjusted by officials in 2015.

In one horrific case, a Afghan called Ali Bahaman reportedly raped a 15-year-old girl at a children’s psychiatric clinic in Stockholm.

He claimed to be 15, but dental examinations showed he was actually around 19-years-old.

And with initial good intentions, now comes the heavy backlash as the famously liberal nation crumbles under the pressure of the influx of refugees who are believed to have double the chance of becoming employed than a native Swede.

The Swedish Migration Board now keeps the location of migrant centres confidential – a decision made after a note was posted on the door of a hotel housing migrants in north Sweden saying: “This is the last warning. Leave our town.”

While welfare and housing benefits to asylum seekers have been cut.

But not everyone is hostile – Lutheran Bishop Eva Brunne called on churches in Sweden to remove crosses so it didn’t offend Muslims, which was met with an almighty backlash.

Tim Stanley, writing for the Daily Telegraph added: “Liberals beware: evidence is mounting the open borders are unpopular and will not stay open for long.

“An act of generosity is likely to be followed by an act of intolerance – as Sweden’s asylum seekers will tell you.””

Heavy clashes have erupted between regime and rebel forces in Syria’s divided city of Aleppo after a three-day “humanitarian” ceasefire expired before the UN could evacuate wounded civilians from rebel-held areas.

Neither rebels nor residents of opposition-held districts heeded calls from Syria’s army and Moscow to leave during the ceasefire, after weeks of devastating bombardment and a three-month government siege.

Syrian state media and Russian authorities have accused rebel forces of preventing civilians from leaving and of using them as human shields.

Almost 500 people have been killed and more than 2,000 civilians wounded since the army launched its offensive to drive the rebels out of the eastern districts they have held since 2012.

  6. TWO years after he vowed to “degrade and ultimately destroy” Islamic State (IS), Barack Obama is at last close to honouring his commitment. In the early hours of October 17th a long-planned military operation was launched to retake Mosul, Iraq’s second city. The battle will involve the Iraqi army, Kurdish soldiers, Shia militias, American special forces and the air power of a Western-led coalition. Mosul matters: it is the place from which the IS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, declared his “caliphate”. The jihadists’ motto is “remain and expand”, but their state is fast retreating and shrinking.

There is little doubt that Mosul will fall (see article). But how it is taken will determine whether the battle marks a lasting victory against jihadism or another chapter in the unending agony of the Arab world. If Iraq is ever to attain stability, its leaders must find ways of assuaging the resentment of its once-dominant Sunni Arab minority, and giving it a political voice.

  7. Sad, so sad, that the land of individual freedoms and common law should fall this low….

One of the most important constitutional cases in Britain’s history came to an end on Tuesday and the case for forcing the government to ask parliament’s permission to trigger Article 50 is a lot stronger than first imagined.

Since Thursday, three of the UK’s most senior judges heard arguments regarding whether prime minister Theresa May is legally obliged to pass an act of parliament before invoking Article 50.

There is no doubt that the weak fatherless homes that Socialism had engineered were intended to strong-arm their youth within into the path of Communism. What has happened however, is someone else shaking a big stick in front of them has made the much deeper hypnotic impression.

  9. THE SPIES WHO LOVE EU Brexit Secretary David Davis warned that governments of EU’s 27 member states are spying on him

As one of just a handful aware of Theresa May’s plans, Davis has been told people will be trying to hack his phone calls to hear private conversations

REXIT Secretary David Davis has been warned he is being spied on by every other government in the EU, The Sun can reveal.

The Cabinet minister was told as soon as he took up the crucial post that he should expect all other 27 member states to be trying to intercept his phone calls and overhear his private conversations.

A referendum unleashes forces that could change Europe. Again.
By John Follain, Chiara Vasarri and Alessia Pierdomenico
    October 24, 2016

In the town of Pontida at the foot of the Italian Alps, Alberto Frassoni cheerfully admits he knows nothing about the country’s upcoming referendum, not even the date.

What the unemployed 48-year-old does know is that the economy isn’t working for him.

“The euro ruined us because prices doubled,” says Frassoni, who supports the anti-immigrant Northern League that wants Italy to abandon the single currency. “A few things have changed, there are better public services for young and old people, but my job opportunities haven’t changed.” Foreigners “have taken work away from me,” he says.

  11. New Podesta Email Exposes Playbook For Rigging Polls Through “Oversamples”

Earlier this morning we wrote about the obvious sampling bias in the latest ABC / Washington Post poll that showed a 12-point national advantage for Hillary. Like many of the recent polls from Reuters, ABC and The Washington Post, this latest poll included a 9-point sampling bias toward registered democrats.

“METHODOLOGY – This ABC News poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Oct. 20-22, 2016, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 874 likely voters. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 36-27-31 percent, Democrats – Republicans – Independents.”

Of course, while democrats may enjoy a slight registration advantage of a couple of points, it is nowhere near the 9 points reflected in this latest poll.

Meanwhile, we also pointed out that with huge variances in preference across demographics one can easily “rig” a poll by over indexing to one group vs. another. As a quick example, the ABC / WaPo poll found that Hillary enjoys a 79-point advantage over Trump with black voters. Therefore, even a small “oversample” of black voters of 5% could swing the overall poll by 3 full points. Moreover, the pollsters don’t provide data on the demographic mix of their polls which makes it impossible to “fact check” the bias…convenient.

  12. Husband and wife death squad execute 800 people in brutal Philippines war on drug dealers

Assassins Ace and Sheila have defended their roles in the bloodbath and say they turned to a life of murder so their children wouldn’t starve

A husband and wife death squad claim their vigilante gang have killed upwards of 800 people in the Philippines’ brutal war on drugs .

Assassins Ace and Sheila, who are part of a prolific hit team, have defended their roles in the bloodbath and say they turned to a life of murder so their children wouldn’t starve.

The parents say they earn $100 for every kill and are doing critical work because “many lives will be ruined” if a dealer isn’t executed.

More than 4,000 alleged users and dealers – and an untold number of innocent victims – have been killed after new President Rodrigo “The Punisher” Duterte won power and promised a crackdown on drugs-related crime.

  13. Hundreds(~1000) of migrants in the notorious Harmanli “refugee” center rioted today. They are not happy with the living conditions and demand that they be allowed to continue their journey to Western Europe. The great number of policemen managed to control the situation, but more and more migrants are leaving the centers, roaming the streets and trying to cross the borders with Serbia.
Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova earlier issued a document that triggers “level 2” alert over an expected inflow of migrants.
Video (the 1st one) of part of the police force in front of the Harmanli center:

Too many people in a room, not enough food, and the food is not good enough, says one migrant.
The weather is getting cold and they just have to leave for Western Europe. “We want to leave Bulgaria. Its’ an absolute necessity for us”, one migrant says.
Their demand – to get a refugee status immediately so that they could continue their journey to Western Europe.
Some TVs say they were over a thousand, but about a thousand at any rate.
Another TV –“ Everything is a problem here. The food is a problem. I don’t like Bulgaria.“
“We will protest every day if we have to, until they take care of us.”
We want our town back, says the mayor of Harmanli.
The gendarmerie will remain in town and around the “refugee” center to guarantee the safety of the people.

(Notice the poor Afghan “refugee” that reached the promised land, London, but didn’t like it there and wanted to go back his road (evidently France is a better destination), but was caught somewhere and returned to the first country that registered him – in the video above (01:10) No, they are not tourists!)

  14. Greece: Fire rages on at Moria refugee offices after migrant demonstration

Emergency services converged on the premises of the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) at Moria refugee camp on the Greek Island of Lesbos, Monday, after migrants protesting against long delays in asylum applications reportedly set fire to their offices on site.

According to local reports, some 70 protesters, predominately from South Asia, threw rocks and burning sheets onto three of the EASO containers inside the Moria migrant camp. Riot police have since also been deployed to the camp but no one has been reported as injured as a result of the blaze.

  15. France: Marion Marechal-Le Pen booed as she denounces arrival of refugees in Vaucluse

Front National MP Marion Marechal-Le Pen was booed by counter-protesters as she delivered a speech for supporters in La Tour d’Aigues, Sunday.

      • ‘Incredible lie’ Marion Le Pen says migrants AREN’T refugees and French should come first (express, Oct 24, 2016)

“MARION Le Pen today attacked the EU elite for peddling “an incredible lie” over migration as she urged ministers in Paris to put the French poor ahead of new arrivals.

In a controversial speech the far-right MP claimed European populations had been fed “propaganda” over asylum seekers and made the unfounded claim that most of them are not fleeing war in Syria and Iraq.

Addressing supporters, the Front National (FN) politician claimed that migrants were being given “preferential” treatment for houses and jobs over impoverished French citizens.

But her divisive rhetoric at a rally in La Tour-d’Aigues in Provence, southern France, in protest at the relocation of around 60 refugees being transferred from the Calais Jungle camp was immediately blasted by pro-refugee groups.

Around 100 far-right activists marched through the tiny town, which has a population of just 1,200, and which is next to the village Grambois which will host the asylum seekers.

In an incendiary speech the MP for the region of Vaucluse, in which the two settlements sit, said their arrival meant “a very real preference for foreigners” which was “deeply unfair towards the 20 per cent of Vauclusiens who live below the poverty line”.

The anti-establishment politician, whose aunt Marine is set to contest the French presidency, added that the government was treating local regions with “contempt” by not consulting them on the rehoming of migrants.

She said it represented a loss of sovereignty that was “disappearing under the weight of cynicism, electioneering and incompetence of the prime minister and the president”.

The Front National activists were opposed by around 300 pro-refugee protests who launched a counter-demonstration in the town as a show of welcome to the new arrivals.

They were joined by the mayor of Grambois, Alain Feretti, who said that half of the 60 asylum seekers his village is set to host will be unaccompanied minors from Calais.

The Jungle camp is being cleared this week before it will be bulldozed by French authorities, who have urged all of its 8,000-10,000 inhabitants to give up their dream of reaching Britain and apply for asylum in France.

And left-wing Mr Feretti said: “We have a national duty to offer them decent living conditions. It is unfair to put all the misery of the world on their shoulders.”

The counter-demonstrators chanted “solidarity with refugees” and carried banners reading “our dream is your worst nightmare” as they taunted the outnumbered FN activists…”

  16. A (dirty) laundry list of the Clinton Foundation’s more questionable foreign donations
By LU Staff October 24, 2016

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton vigorously defended the Clinton Foundation’s work at last Wednesday’s final presidential debate.

“I’m thrilled to talk about the Clinton Foundation, because it is a world-renowned charity and I am so proud of the work that it does,” Clinton said in a response to a question from moderator Chris Wallace about possible conflicts of interest and impropriety.

Wallace’s question came after numerous allegations from Republican nominee Donald Trump that the Clinton Foundation took donations from foreign governments, which influenced Clinton’s decision-making while serving as secretary of state.

These countries include states accused of human rights violations, economic interests in decisions by Clinton’s Department of State, and countries Clinton has pledged to confront if elected president.

    Saudi Arabian Influence

When Clinton first took office in 2008, the foundation disclosed that Saudi Arabia donated between $10 to $25 million, with some donations coming as recently as 2014 when Clinton prepared her run for the presidency. The foundation received an additional $1 to $5 million donation from the “Friends of Saudi Arabia,” which was cofounded by a Saudi prince. Critics question the ethics of taking such vast sums of money from individuals and a government with one of the worst human rights records in the world.

  17. Calibration error’ changes GOP votes to Democratic in Illinois county
By LU Staff October 24, 2016

Early voting in Illinois got off to a rocky start Monday, as votes being cast for Republican candidates were transformed into votes for Democrats.

Republican state representative candidate Jim Moynihan went to vote Monday at the Schaumburg Public Library.

“I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” Moynihan said. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”

The conservative website Illinois Review reported:

While using a touch screen voting machine in Schaumburg, Moynihan voted for several races on the ballot, only to find that whenever he voted for a Republican candidate, the machine registered the vote for a Democrat in the same race. He notified the election judge at his polling place and demonstrated that it continued to cast a vote for the opposing candidate’s party. Moynihan was eventually allowed to vote for Republican candidates, including his own race.

Moynihan offered this gracious lesson to his followers on Twitter:

  18. Rigging the Election – Video III: Creamer Confirms Hillary Clinton Involvement

Project Veritas Action has released the third video in a multi-part series that is sending shockwaves through the DNC and the Clinton campaign. The first video explained the dark secrets and the hidden connections and organizations the Clinton campaign uses to incite violence at Trump rallies. The second video exposed a diabolical step-by-step voter fraud strategy discussed by top Democratic operatives and showed one key operative admitting that the Democrats have been rigging elections for fifty years. This latest video takes this investigation even further.

Part III of the undercover investigation dives further into the back room dealings of Democratic politics. It exposes prohibited communications between Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the DNC and the non-profit organization Americans United for Change. And, it’s all disguised as a duck.

Several Project Veritas Action undercover journalists catch Democracy Partners founder directly implicating Hillary Clinton in FEC violations.

“In the end, it was the candidate, Hillary Clinton, the future president of the United States, who wanted ducks on the ground,” says Creamer in one of several exchanges. “So, by God, we would get ducks on the ground.”

It is made clear that high-level DNC operative Creamer realized that this direct coordination between Democracy Partners and the campaign would be damning when he said: “Don’t repeat that to anybody.”

It was earlier this year when people wearing Donald Duck costumes started showing up at Donald Trump events all over the country. Brad Woodhouse is the president of Americans United for Change (AUFC) and he worked with Robert Creamer, Scott Foval, and DNC Rapid Response Coordinator Aaron Black to launch their “Donald Ducks” campaign.

After the first video in this series, Woodhouse fired Scott Foval, his national field director.

In the video, the operatives go on to explain their plot.

“Let me tell you something. I think she [Hillary Clinton] has the right instinct on this. This thing is resonating, but that story is not exactly what you want to hear about how presidential decision-making happened,” said Woodhouse.

However, the originator of the Donald Ducks scheme was supposed to remain secret.

Robert Creamer goes on to add, “I was actually on a plane to go to London last week — Christina Reynolds [Deputy Communications Director for Hillary for America] calls saying, ‘I have good news and bad news. The good news is the candidate would like to have a mascot following around the duck — I mean, Trump.’”

Creamer then says, “If the future president wants ducks, we will put ducks on the ground.”

Hillary Clinton and the DNC wanted the Donald Ducks agitators at Trump and Pence campaign events. The direct involvement of the campaign and the Democratic National Committee with Americans United for Change and activists wearing Donald Duck costumes smacks strongly of illegal coordinated campaign expenditures.

Federal campaign law experts have told us “the ducks on the ground are likely public communications for purposes of the law. It’s political activity opposing Trump, paid for by Americans United for Change funds but controlled by Clinton and her campaign.”

Representatives of Clinton’s campaign were on daily conference calls which PVA journalists witnessed with Creamer, AUFC managers and their operatives. They were talking about where to send the duck and the “ducks message.” Not only was the campaign in on it, but apparently Donna Brazille’s Democratic National Committee was in on it as well.

After last week’s stories released by Project Veritas Action, Americans United for Change fired Scott Foval and Robert Creamer announced to the DNC that he was stepping down from campaign responsibilities. James O’Keefe and Project Veritas Action have filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission.

Project Veritas Action Fund (AKA Project Veritas Action) was founded by James O’Keefe to investigate and expose corruption, dishonesty, self-dealing, waste, fraud and other misconduct.

  19. Report: Justice Department Extorts Companies to Fund Left-Wing Activists

A new report from the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) concludes that the Obama administration’s Department of Justice has been extorting fines from major banks, which are then used to fund leftist groups that push the Democratic vote.

The report notes that while community organizing groups have been using aggressive, “terrorist” tactics for decades to force banks to provide funding for their operations, the Obama administration has brought the power of the federal government to bear on their behalf. Banks are threatened with lawsuits for racial discrimination based on the controversial “disparate impact” theory, and offered incentives to settle by paying left-wing groups directly, beyond the review or oversight of Congress.

The result, the GAI report says, is a system of political patronage:

Vblockquote> The old time political machine has been replaced by these nonprofits and a system of patronage now operates with the imprimatur of the DOJ. The DOJ has instituted a system that provides significant funding for nonprofit “community organizers” through a pattern of extortive lawsuits. This system, wherein appointed attorneys can legally extract money from the private sector and redistribute the funds to third-party organizations outside of the appropriations process, shows an unprecedented and extraordinary disregard for Congressional authority.

Left-wing groups have long used the Community Reinvestment Act — signed by President Jimmy Carter in 1977 and boosted by President Bill Clinton in the 1990s — to threaten bank mergers unless the banks fund their lending and activist operations.

  20. CANADA – Conservative leadership contender Steven Blaney reignites niqab ban debate

Steven Blaney, the latest Conservative to throw his hat into the party’s leadership race is planning to reignite the effort to ban niqabs at polling stations, during citizenship oaths and for federal public servants.

His will to ban the religious garb is so strong, he “will not hesitate” to take the unprecedented step of overruling the Supreme Court of Canada should it rule against federal legislation banning the niqab.

During an announcement Monday morning, the former cabinet minister in Stephen Harper’s government, said he would, should he become prime minister, re-introduce legislation forcing voters, new citizens taking the oath and federal public servants to uncover their faces.

“Uncovering your face is a day-to-day requirement for every Canadian whether it is to obtain a driver’s licence or getting a passport for obvious security reasons. This same requirement should apply to all those who swear allegiance to our country, vote in-person at a polling station or work within the federal public service,” Blaney wrote in a statement Monday.

“A Conservative government under [my] leadership will not hesitate to use the notwithstanding clause should the Supreme Court oppose the will of Parliament.”[…]

  21. ‘You can’t have TWO laws!’ Former Bishop BLASTS Government for even considering Sharia law (express, Oct 24, 2016)

“A GOVERNMENT inquiry into Sharia law in the UK has been blasted as a politically correct whitewash by an expert called to the investigating committee.

The Right Rev Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, the former Bishop of Rochester, blasted the Government’s ongoing inquiry into the Islamic law system.

He warned Sharia law is COMPLETELY incompatible with the British justice system and that the Government is wasting its time investigating its legitimacy.

In written evidence to the Commons Home Affairs committee he said the investigation, put forward by Prime Minister Theresa May during her time as Home Secretary, could even jeopardise the entire justice system in the UK.

Part of the committee’s investigation looks at the possibility of running a twin-track justice system – with Islamic Sharia law sitting alongside the existing British justice system.

But Dr Nazir-Ali said: “It asks whether the ‘application’ of Sharia is incompatible with English law, when it should be asking whether Sharia itself is incompatible with English law.

“If Sharia is recognised in any way in terms of the public law, it will introduce a principle of contradiction in the body of the law, which will cause enormous problems.”

Critics argue Sharia law is incompatible with democracy, as well as in breach of human rights.

It has come under fire as outdated and misogynist for its treatment of women, with some interpretations allowing a husband to beat women for disobedience or infidelity.

Dr Nazir-Ali also criticised the make-up of the investigation panel, which does not include any non-Muslim experts on Islam.

A Home Office spokesman said: “The terms of reference make it clear that the review will focus on whether Sharia is being applied in a way that is inconsistent with human rights of counter to the law of the land.”

Professor Mona Siddiqui, who is heading the inquiry, has promised the inquiry will be “wide ranging, timely and thorough.”

And Mrs May, as she launched the inquiry in May, said: “Many British people of different faiths follow religious codes and practices, and benefit a great deal from the guidance they offer.

“A number of women have reportedly been victims of what appear to be discriminatory decisions taken by Sharia councils, and that is a significant concern. There is only one rule of law in our country, which provides rights and security for every citizen.

“Professor Siddiqui, supported by a panel with a strong balance of academic, religious and legal expertise, will help us better understand whether and the extent to which Sharia law is being misused or exploited and make recommendations to the Government on how to address this.””

  22. ISIS driven from North Africa into Spanish seaside resorts popular with British tourists (express, Oct 24, 2016)

“SPAIN’S southern coast risks being overrun with ISIS jihadis driven from their terror bases in the Middle East and North Africa, the country’s foreign minister has warned.

Holiday resorts popular with British tourists – including the Costa del Sol, Costa Brava and Costa Blanca – could be at risk, Spain’s foreign affairs minister Jose Manuel García-Margallo said.

He told Spanish newspaper ABC: “The loss of land in Syria and Iraq can force Daesh [ISIS] jihadists to Libya.

“With the loss of ground in Libya, the jihadist threat approaches our coasts and European shores.”…”

  23. Outrage as poster mocking age of child migrants from Calais found in Parliament (express, Oct 24, 2016)

“A POSTER mocking the debate on whether the ‘child migrants’ arriving in the UK from Calais are actually children has sparked outrage after being posted in Parliament.

Last week Britons fiercely debated whether or not dental checks should be carried out on those sent to the UK from the ‘Jungle’ camp to be with their families.

The Home Office said a test would be ‘inhumane’ but Tory MP David Davies collected huge support when he said their ages should be scientifically established.

On Monday, a poster mocking the ages of the child refugees was posted in the Palace of Westminster.

It should a picture of an elderly man with the caption: “Just £3 from you could clothed and feed this 12yr old Syrian child for a week”.

Chi Onwurah shared the picture after it was taped above the sink in the communal kitchen near her parliamentary office.

The MP for Newcastle Central said the “dehumanisation” of migrants has reached Government offices.

The Labour MP said she believed such language was increasingly common following the EU referendum.

Ms Onwurah said: “Parliament should be a safe working environment for everyone.

“I’ve just come from a summit in Newcastle on safety and security with different communities and hate crime is increasing. Partly it’s the legitimisation of xenophobic discourse, making it legitimate to say things that you wouldn’t have done pre-Brexit.”

The MP insisted she had no idea who put up the poster and had never heard such views aired in person.

She said: “I share a corridor with a dozen other MPs and their staff but anyone with a full parliamentary pass has access there.

“Legitimising and supporting this kind of language makes life harder for vulnerable people and refugees.

“It shouldn’t be anywhere and it certainly shouldn’t be in parliament.””

  25. Syrian refugee in Germany with 4 wives, 22 kids sparks social media fuss over welfare (RT, Oct 24, 2016)

“A Syrian refugee who claims social benefits in Germany with his four wives and 22 children has sparked debates on social media, after the German press brought his story into spotlight.

The man in question, Ghazia A. (the surname is not disclosed) fled Syria in 2015 and headed to Germany via Turkey, accompanied by his four wives and 23 children.

According to Muslim tradition, a man is allowed to have up to four wives as long as he can support them financially. However, Germany does not officially recognize polygamy.

Ghazia had to choose one of the women as an “official” wife in order for him and the rest of the family to claim social benefits, the German magazine BILD reported. He opted for his “main” wife Twasif and five children, while the other three women have been officially called his “partners” by the authorities.

The man now lives in the community of Montabaur in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. His other three wives had to split the remaining children between them and were moved by the authorities into various neighboring communities, while one of the daughters married and is currently living in Saudi Arabia, BILD noted.

A neighbor of Ghazia told the news outlet that the refugee is often absent from his ‘main’ family while visiting other wives and children, living within a radius of some 50 kilometers.

“According to our religion I have the duty to visit each family equally and not to prioritize any of them,” Ghazia A. told BILD.

The story was first broke by the German media outlet Rhein-Zeitung earlier this year. After being published by the respective news outlets, people on social media voiced discontent over the entire family getting social benefits.

“Of course, the #Syrian (49) lives with his 4 women & 22 children from #Social benefits, from what else?!” one person noted in a tweet.

Reacting to the case, a German financial manager released his calculation of what the German state is paying to the entire family annually. On the website of the Employers’ Association he estimated that the refugees are getting roughly 360,000 Euro per year. There is no official confirmation on the numbers yet.

“I am practically always on my way to be with my family – yet I would gladly like to work,” the Syrian refugee told BILD. Back in his home country the man used to earn enough money with his car sharing and car service business to cover the expanses of his large family, the magazine said.

Some people on social media assumed the case is a reflection of a new reality in Germany. “The new reality in the big canton – nice Friday to you all. My neighbor has 4 women and 23 children,” one message said.

Another one claimed that the “the Syrian with 4 women and 23 children is now being sold to us as a new normality.”

According to Guido Göbel, a local official in the community of Montabaur, covering the financial expenses for the Syrian family is not easy. However, he said that the case is an “exemption,” Rhein-Zeitung reported.

Germany welcomed some one million refugees in 2015, according to official estimates. The influx of immigrants slowed down in 2016, however.”

“A group of militants is holding some 200 cadets after storming a police facility in southwestern Pakistan. At least four people are reportedly wounded, local media reported Monday.

According to the Dunya News television channel, five or six gunmen are responsible, and the Pakistani army has launched an operation at the training facility in the city of Quetta…”

    • Two killed, 87 injured as militants storm police training centre in Quetta (tribune, Oct 24, 2016)

“Two security personnel have been martyred after terrorists stormed the New Sariab Police Training Center in Quetta late Monday night. At least 87 people including police recruits have also been injured in the terrorist attack.

The military’s media wing, ISPR, said at least five armed gunmen attacked the centre’s hostel in Sariab Road. Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) troops soon arrived at the site, and an operation is continuing…”

    • QUETTA – Forty eight dead in Pakistan police academy attack

Gunmen stormed a Pakistani police training academy in the southwestern city of Quetta late on Monday night, killing at least 48 people and wounding more than 100, hospital officials said early Tuesday morning.

Some 200 trainees are stationed at the facility, officials said, and some had been taken hostage.

“Forty eight bodies have been brought to the hospital,” said Wasim Beg, senior doctor at Quetta’s Civil Hospital.

Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, home minister of Baluchistan province, of which Quetta is the capital, had confirmed early on Tuesday that five to six gunmen had attacked a dormitory inside the training facility while cadets rested and slept. An operation to clear the facility lasted five hours.

  27. Concern Grows Over Soros-Linked Voting Machines
Sixteen states may be using balloting equipment from a company tied to the leftist billionaire

by Edmund Kozak | Updated 24 Oct 2016 at 5:21 PM

Concern is growing over revelations that voting machines in a significant number of states could be linked to a company tied directly to billionaire leftist George Soros and his personal quest to create a nationless, borderless global state.

The U.K.-based Smartmatic company posted a flow-chart on its website that it had provided voting machines for 16 states, including important battleground states like Florida and Arizona. Smartmatic Chairman Mark Malloch-Brown is a former U.N. official and sits on the board of Soros’ Open Society Foundations. Since the story first broke, the flow-chart has disappeared from Smartmatic’s website, raising further questions about the real status of the Soros-tied voting equipment and whether it is truly being deployed in U.S. elections.

  28. WSJ: Wikileaks Raises Questions on When John Podesta, Russia Stopped Doing Business

In an article titled “John Podesta and the Russians,” WSJ’s James Freeman writes that the question “When did Clinton’s top aide stop doing business with Moscow?” is not an easy one to answer, given the latest information we have from Wikileaks.

    From the Wall Street Journal:

Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta has responded to the WikiLeaks publication of his private emails by suggesting they were stolen by the Russians to elect Donald Trump. What he doesn’t like to talk about is the business he’s done with a Kremlin-backed investment firm and the lengths he’s gone to avoid scrutiny of this relationship.

The emails published on WikiLeaks show that around the time he was returning to the White House, Mr. Podesta wrote to Joule requesting the transfer of his shares to an entity called Leonidio Holdings, LLC, which had been created just weeks earlier.

  29. Exclusive — Victim of San Jose Trump Rally Violence on Project Veritas Video: The ‘Mob’ of ‘Paid’ Protesters Threw Eggs in My Hair

Rachel Casey, the 29-year-old woman and Donald Trump supporter who was violently attacked by progressive protesters and had eggs thrown into her hair in San Jose, California, earlier this year, gave her first exclusive interview since the revelations in new videos that Democratic paid operatives incited such violence around the country to Breitbart News on Sunday.

When asked to describe what happened to her that fateful evening when the progressive protesters targeted her with eggs and other violent tactics, Casey portrayed a horrific scene.

  30. New Podesta Email Exposes Playbook For Rigging Polls Through ‘Oversamples’

  31. Hillary vs. The Education of American Children
What Clinton’s proposed amnesty for illegal aliens would really do.
    October 24, 2016
    Michael Cutler

Two recurrent claims made by Hillary Clinton are that she will stand with American families against powerful interests and corporations and that she will increase spending on educating children to help them succeed.

These populist promises may resonate with many Americans. However, as my mom used to say, “Actions speak louder than words.”

Hillary Clinton’s grandiose plans to provide unknown numbers of illegal aliens with lawful status would make her other promises impossible to keep.

During the last debate she stated that she would do whatever she needs to do so that workers will have good jobs with rising incomes.

However, for Hillary and the administration, American workers literally don’t count.

Today tens of millions of working-age Americans have left the labor force and are not counted by the Labor Department when it provides unemployment statistics. In point of fact, each month the United States admits more foreign workers than the number of new jobs that are created.

  32. Saint Louis University: Islamic Stronghold
The campus’s mistreatment of Col. Allen West for daring to say “radical Islam” is only the tip of the iceberg.
    October 24, 2016
    Matthew Vadum

Founded two centuries ago, Saint Louis University began as a Roman Catholic institution, but given its antics in recent years, one could be forgiven for believing that it might be better classified as an Islamic university. The most recent example of this transformation took place last month when more than a hundred students, egged on by campus administration, walked out of a speech by black former congressman Allen West because he dared to use the phrase “radical Islam.”

“Radical Islam” is the same expression that Muslim sympathizer President Barack Hussein Obama refuses to say. Obama, who claims to be a Christian, famously waxes poetic on the Muslim call to prayer, describing it as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.” With his head firmly planted in the sand, the president is also reluctant to label Muslim terrorist attacks as such, preferring to use the fuzzy abstraction “violent extremism.”

At Saint Louis University the campus administration tried to dictate the contents of the national security-themed speech in late September sponsored by Young America’s Foundation (YAF), but West, an outspoken conservative who represented a Florida district in the U.S. House from 2011 to 2013 as a Republican, refused to buckle under pressure. An SLU administrator told conservative and Republican students promoting the event that advertisements for it could not contain the words “radical Islam.”

SLU president Fred Pestello called West a “provocateur” and said in an email to students that he stood in “solidarity” with them.

  33. LEAKED: Obama Team Kept List of Muslims For Top Jobs, Excluded Non-Muslims (dailycaller, Oct 24, 2016)

“The newest batch of John Podesta’s hacked emails released by Wikileaks shows Obama’s transition team kept lists of Muslim and Asian candidates for jobs in the administration.

According to an email chain from 2008, John Podesta received lists of exclusively Muslims and Asians to be considered for jobs in the Obama administration. The email chain revealed that in this process, Middle Eastern Christians were purposefully excluded, or set aside in a separate list, with an aide writing,

In the candidates for top jobs, I excluded those with some Arab American background but who are not Muslim (e.g., George Mitchell). Many Lebanese Americans, for example, are Christian. In the last list (of outside boards/commissions), most who are listed appear to be Muslim American, except that a handful (where noted) may be Arab American but of uncertain religion (esp. Christian).

Also notable, there was concern that some of the Muslims suggested would not survive media scrutiny, with one aide writing, “High-profile Muslim Americans tend to be the subject of a fair amount of blogger criticism, and so the individuals on this list would need to be ESPECIALLY carefully vetted.”

She continues, “I suspect some of the people I list would not survive such a vet — but I do personally know, at least in part, virtually all of the candidates in the 1st two categories (but I know very few of those listed for outside boards/commissions).”

Within the lists themselves, candidates were further broken down, with every candidate labeled by their nationality and sometimes race.

This follows a pattern of the Obama Administration using race and religion to determine hiring, with other leaked emails showing potential political appointees being labeled with an F for female, B for black, H for Hispanic, and M for Muslim.

Another Wikileaks release showed the Obama transition team keeping extensive lists of non-white candidates for administration posts.”

  34. ‘Expert’: Give Syrians Their Own City in Germany To Prevent Radicalisation (breitbart, Oct 23, 2016)

“A left wing expert on Salafism has suggested that Germany has no real culture and that Syrians should be allowed their own city rather than be forced to integrate into German society.
Expert on Salafism and Green party member Kurt Edler is proposing a radical idea on how the German government should handle the integration of Syrians and other migrants into German society.

Mr. Edler contends that Germany has no real culture to speak of and that the migrants shouldn’t have to integrate and instead he claims they should be afforded their own city in an area like Vorpommern reports, Die Welt.

Mr. Edler admits after the attempted bombing in Leipzig and other terror attacks in Wurzburg and elsewhere, that Islamism has formally arrived in Germany.

Speaking on the need for migrants to integrate into Germany he said, “the indigenous people themselves have completely disintegrated. The common word is dominant culture. There is none. There are lifestyle milieus.”

Since there is no common culture, according to Edler, there should be no problem in simply creating what he calls a “New Aleppo” in somewhere like German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s home state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The Chancellor is still reeling from the recent regional election loss to the anti-mass migration Alternative for Germany (AfD).

On the subject of the AfD Edler said support for the party was a reaction to the mass experience of “social modernization.”

The new Syrian city would foster a sense of community that Edler says those in the West have given up on. “Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher has said a wise phrase: ‘There is no society’. Indeed” he said.

Adding that the concept of a homeland, the German word heimat, and notions of the West were “pseudo utopias” he added “the West has long since perished.”

The idea of separate cities fro Muslims has been floated before by a German academic named Ulrike Guérot who also agrees with Edler that the idea of “dominant culture” is “Fascistic.” The agreement of the two academics shows that the ideas may have growing prominence in German academic circles.

On the notion of young radical Muslims Edler echoed comments made by French scholar Gilles Kepel who called the third generation of Muslims the “Jihad Generation” due to the rising popularity of Salfism among them. Kepel warned these young people could be taking Europe down the path of future civil war.

Mr. Edler is more optimistic about the future of young Muslims claiming that Salafism will likely dissipate over time. “Much of what we experience as juvenile Salafism is a fashion and subculture,” he said. Part of the reason for this, he claims, is that the Islamic State is losing territory and battles proving that they aren’t the invincible warriors they portray in their propaganda.

Many experts, police and security agencies are fearful of the rise of radicalism in Muslim youths. Polls have shown that the rise in radicalisation among young Muslims is a growing trend and few have the answers to reversing it.”

  35. Gunmen kill Pakistani intelligence officer (gulfnews, Oct 24, 2016)

“Peshawar: Two gunmen on a motorcycle shot dead an intelligence officer in northwest Pakistan on Monday, police said, in an attack claimed by Daesh.

Akbar Ali, an intelligence sub-inspector, was on his way to work and waiting at a bus stop near his home in Charsadda district when the gunmen opened fire, Suhail Khalid, district police chief, told journalists.

“Akbar Ali was hit by four bullets from the front and was killed on the spot,” he said, adding that the attackers used a 9mm pistol and fled the scene.

The attack was later claimed by Daesh in a short statement posted on Amaq, its affiliated news agency…”

  36. Denmark’s queen: Living here doesn’t make you Danish (thelocal, Oct 24, 2016)

“Queen Margrethe II has raised eyebrows in Denmark for passages in a new book that weigh in on the nation’s seemingly never-ending debate on ‘Danishness’.

In the book, written with journalist Thomas Larsen, the Danish queen says that some immigrants and refugees have failed to properly integrate into society.

“It’s not a law of nature that one becomes Danish by living in Denmark. It doesn’t necessarily happen,” Queen Margrethe says.

The queen goes on to say that certain groups of people are better at integrating than others.

“Those who came from Southeast Asia have generally prospered. Others have had more difficulty adapting. They have had a hard time finding their rhythm in Denmark,” she says.

Queen Margrethe also says that Danes have been naive in thinking that integration wouldn’t take hard work on both sides.

“We thought that these things would take care of themselves. That if you walked through the streets of Copenhagen and drank the municipal water and rode the municipal bus, you’d soon become a Dane. It was so obvious to us, and therefore we thought that it must also be obvious for those who settled and lived here. It wasn’t,” the queen says.

Repeating a message she delivered ahead of her 75th birthday last year, Queen Margrethe said Danes need to be better at conveying the values and rules that society holds dear.

“If you can’t formulate what you stand for, it is hard to tell others about it. It needs to be worked on and every once in a while you need to put your foot down with somebody and say ‘Hey! That won’t do’,” she says in the new book, ‘De Dybeste Rødder’ (‘The Deepest Roots’).

The queen’s comments in the new book come just a few weeks after she told German newspaper Der Spiegel that while she represents “all people who are citizens of the Danish nation”, she doesn’t view Denmark as a multicultural country.

They also come amidst an intense national discussion about what makes somebody a Dane. Sparked by comments on a political TV programme, the issue even made its way to the New York Times…”

18 Bundeswehr** vehicles have been burned in Bremen on Sunday. It is estimated that a fire had caused damage worth more than 15 million euros. The circumstantial evidence suggests an arson and the suspects are militant leftist activists.
