  1. ‘Go home to Africa’ Anti-refugee stickers spotted on lampposts in Cambridge (express, Sep 29, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/715612/refugees-hate-crime-africa-race-migrants-immigrants-cambridge-stickers-romsey-recreation

“STICKERS have appeared on lampposts in a park in Cambridge emblazoned with the slogans ‘Refugees not welcome’ and ‘Go home to Africa’.

It is feared that the stickers, which were spotted in the Romsey Recreation Ground in Cambridge, could inspire hate crimes and could be replicated across other communities in the UK.

They are a parody of ‘Refugees Welcome’ campaign stickers, which aim to promote inclusion.

Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner has urged residents to “bin” the stickers…”

  2. Uproar as Muslim school with damning Ofsted report wins right NOT to be publicly named (express, Sep 29, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/715628/Muslim-school-Ofsted-named-Justice-Stuart-Smith-Khalid-Mahmood-Britain

“A MUSLIM school which received a damning Ofsted report has not been named in a bid to avoid a “media storm”.

Inspectors rated the school “inadequate” and raised issues about the segregation policy as it made feel inferior.

The school is mounting a legal challenge against the High Court for its below average rating.

Mr Justice Stuart-Smith has ruled against any media naming the school, which is only known as School X.

He said naming the school could “generate a media storm and tensions and fears for parents and the local community”.

Critics of the ban say the ruling makes a mockery of the open justice principle as the school is funded by taxpayers.

The reporting ban will remain in place until an official judgement is reached. If the school’s appeal is successful, the ban will remain in place forever…”

The EU plans to sacrifice its outer countries, says a former diplomat and expert in security.
He says the EU-Turkey deal is bound to fail, but Western European leaders will continue to play great humanists and “save” the migrants, who are already coming from safe countries, destroying Greece and Bulgaria. This will be the faith of Italy as well.
When you just have to “save” them, but also to save yourself from them, other Europeans may as well go to hell. Needless to say, this would solve the problem only temporarily, and is based on the naïve assumption that the crisis will end by itself.

Meanwhile Italians are leaving their country. http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/09/27/cardinal-sounds-alarm-emigration-crisis-italy-2/

In Bulgaria there already are calls from nationalist parties to shoot at everyone who tries to cross the border illegally, but the countries on the front line simply won’t be allowed to defend themselves, as it is “inhumane”.

        • an arrangement or instrument (such as a future, option, or warrant) whose value derives from and is dependent on the value of an underlying asset.

The futures market on high risk to semi high risk investments. The high risk loans that the government wants all banks to make, loaning someone making 12 to 24 thousand a year enough to buy a house worth 100 thousand or higher. Those loans were bundled and sold on the derivatives market. You could make money on them while the price of houses kept raising but once the bubble caused by those loans burst the people owning the bundles lost big time.

The housing bubble has reinflated and there is a bubble on stock prices, that is why so many people keep predicting a major crash.

  6. Investigators may probe Cascade Mall suspect’s citizenship status, voting record

The Cascade Mall shooting suspect, Arcan Cetin, may face an additional investigation related to his voting record and citizenship status.

Federal sources confirm to KING 5 that Cetin was not a U.S. citizen, meaning legally he cannot vote. However, state records show Cetin registered to vote in 2014 and participated in three election cycles, including the May presidential primary.

Cetin, who immigrated to the United States from Turkey as a child, is considered a permanent resident or green card holder. While a permanent resident can apply for U.S. citizenship after a certain period of time, sources tell KING his status had not changed from green card holder to U.S. citizen.

While voters must attest to citizenship upon registering online or registering to vote at the Department of Licensing Office, Washington state doesn’t require proof of citizenship. Therefore elections officials say the state’s elections system operates, more or less, under an honor system.

  7. Frank Gaffney on Obama’s Attempt to Slip Irreversible Internet Surrender Under the Radar: ‘We’ve Got Three Days to Fix This’

Frank Gaffney joined Breitbart News Daily with SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Tuesday to offer his thoughts on the first presidential debate and a vitally important topic that was not addressed, the impending surrender of U.S. control of Internet registration.

Gaffney recalled a discussion with Congressman Mike Pompeo of Kansas, in which Pompeo told him:

Hillary Clinton made the case – I think pretty well, actually – for more of the same, and if you really want more of the same, whether it’s in immigration, whether it’s in trade policy, whether it’s in national security or generally, whether it’s on jobs or anything else, she’s the clear choice. I don’t think there’s any getting around it.

    • Obama’s Reckless Plan Threatens U.S. Oversight of Internet

The Obama administration is poised to surrender control of certain Internet functions to non-profit ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, on October 1. According to Americans for Limited Government’s senior editor Robert Romano, opposition to this Internet giveaway has united Republicans such as Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and presidential candidate Donald Trump. But questions remain as to whether or not the Republicans will unite sufficiently to insist language is included in a continuing resolution that will forbid the transfer of control.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) actually stripped out this language from the continuing resolution, and a vote to end debate on the current language, which does not fix the ICANN issue, failed on September 27. This is the latest Obama administration scandal, one that threatens the integrity of the Internet. President Obama is seeking to cede oversight of Internet protocols to a multinational body, effectively ending unilateral American control over these functions.

  8. China warns Japan not to ‘play with fire’ in S. China Sea

China on Thursday warned Japan against “playing with fire” in the contested waters of the South China Sea, after Tokyo announced it may patrol alongside the US in the region.

China also sent fighter planes for the first time over a strait near Japan on Monday as part of a group of more than 40 jets headed to train in the West Pacific.

The move followed remarks by Japanese Defence Minister Tomomi Inada this month that Tokyo would increase its engagement in the South China Sea through joint training with the US Navy, exercises with regional navies and capacity-building assistance to coastal nations.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/china-warns-japan-not-play-fire-china-sea-093847293.html

    • This is a major flash point, the US is weak and China is in economic trouble and has internal unrest caused by the one child policy. Right now Japan can’t do a lot on its own but it has a large number of unmanned naval vessels and a large population of experienced seamen to call on to man them in an emergency. The last time Japan decided to turn its military loose on the rest of the Far East the world trembled and nuclear weapons were used to prevent massive causalities.

What China needs to remember is that every time it has fought Japan the war ended in either a draw or a loss for China.

  10. ISIS prepares for FINAL BATTLE: US troops 3 MILES from site of ancient APOCALYPSE prophecy
US SPECIAL forces are encircling a jihadi stronghold in Syria claimed by ISIS to be in old Islamic prophecy as the site of the final battle – triggering the apocalypse.

According to the extremists’ twisted ideology, Dabiq – a tiny town in northern Syria – will see a “major apocalyptic showdown with the armies of the infidel” that will result in the collapse of civilisation.

And Turkish troops backed by American commandos are understood to be just three miles from the town.

ISIS claim the battle will erupt in a field outside the small town, which in 2004 recorded a population of just 3,000 people.

PARIS — Yael Haccoun and her family are Orthodox Jews from the working-class Paris suburb of Sarcelles, but they flew to Israel in late September to start a new life and escape the anti-Semitism around them.

“French people think that it’s natural when Jews are targeted” in terror attacks, said Haccoun, 33, as she waited with her husband and their three children here at the airport. “The fact that the army must protect Jewish schools and synagogues isn’t normal.”

  13. Syrian rebel advance in Hama as army pushes in Aleppo

BEIRUT (Reuters) – Syrian insurgents made new advances to capture villages north of Hama on Thursday, rebels and a war monitor said, pressing a month-long offensive in an area of strategic importance to the government as it tries to seize insurgent-held Aleppo.

The advance may distract from the offensive by the Syrian army and its allies, Shi’ite militias and Russia’s air force, on rebel-held eastern Aleppo following a massive bombardment since a ceasefire collapsed last week.

A Syrian military source said on Thursday that the air force had conducted strikes in a string of villages north of Hama that rebels have seized in recent weeks, adding that it had destroyed tanks and armored vehicles and killed “dozens of terrorists”.

The rebels’ Hama offensive began several weeks ago and has steadily gained ground in the area to the north of the city, taking a series of villages and towns previously held by the government of President Bashar al-Assad.

  14. California, eyeing Cosby, ends statute of limitations for rape

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Reuters) – California Governor Jerry Brown on Wednesday signed a bill to end the statute of limitations for rape, a measure inspired by accusations against comedian Bill Cosby, some of which surfaced decades after alleged crimes occurred.

Cosby, who built a long career on family friendly comedy, including his long-running NBC sitcom “The Cosby Show,” has steadfastly denied ever assaulting anyone and has insisted that all his sexual encounters were consensual.

He is charged in Pennsylvania with drugging and sexually assaulting a former Temple University employee, Andrea Constand, at his home in 2004. In California, he faces a civil suit by a woman now in her 50s who alleges that Cosby plied her with alcohol and molested her in 1974 at the Playboy Mansion when she was aged 15.

  15. India says launches strikes on militants in Pakistan, raising risk of escalation

NEW DELHI/ISLAMABAD (Reuters) – India said on Thursday it had conducted “surgical strikes” on suspected militants preparing to infiltrate from Pakistan-ruled Kashmir, making its first direct military response to an attack on an army base it blames on Pakistan and raising the risk of escalation.

Pakistan said two of its soldiers had been killed in exchanges of fire and in repulsing an Indian “raid”, but denied India had made any targeted strikes across the de facto frontier that runs through the disputed Himalayan territory of Kashmir.

The cross-border action inflicted significant casualties, the Indian army’s head of operations told reporters in New Delhi, while senior government officials said Indian soldiers had crossed the border to target militant camps.

The announcement followed through on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s warning that those India held responsible “would not go unpunished” for a Sept. 18 attack on its army base at Uri, near the Line of Control, that killed 18 soldiers.

    • Kashmir attack: India ‘launches strikes against militants’ (BBC, Sep 29, 2016)
      http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-37504308

“India’s army says it has carried out “surgical strikes” against suspected militants along the de-facto border with Pakistan in Kashmir.

The operation was aimed at preventing attacks being planned by Pakistan-based militants, a senior army official said.

He said “significant casualties have been caused to the terrorists and those who are trying to support them”.

Pakistan denies India carried out any strikes and says two of its soldiers were killed in cross-border shelling.

“The notion of surgical strike linked to alleged terrorists’ bases is an illusion being deliberately generated by India to create false effects,” the Pakistani military said in a statement.

Pakistan said its soldiers died in “unprovoked” firing along the Line of Control dividing the disputed region.

A territorial dispute between the two countries over Muslim-majority Kashmir has been running for decades, but tensions flared earlier this month after a militant attack on an Indian army base in Kashmir left 18 soldiers dead.

India blamed the attack on Pakistan, which denied the claim…”

  16. NJ Transit commuter train slams into wall of station in Hoboken; injuries reported

This just coming over the wire. A New Jersey Transit train crashed into a wall after entering the station in Hoboken around 8:30 a.m. It is unclear from earliest reports whether the train jumped the track, but according to live televised coverage by New York City Fox affiliate WNYW the roof over the passenger waiting area collapsed, resulting in serious injuries. The exact number and nature of those injuries have yet to be reported.

According to eyewitnesses, the train failed to slow down as it entered the station. One on-scene observer who witnessed the crash was WFAN anchor John Minko. he told reporters with CBS New York:

  17. Hillary Clinton made false claim about race-based arrests in Monday’s debate
By Jerome Woehrle September 28, 2016

President Ronald Reagan once observed that “It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.” That’s especially true of left-leaning politicians, like Hillary Clinton, who live in an ideological bubble of like-minded people who reinforce each other’s fallacies and shared ideological myths. In the Daily Wire, Aaron Bandler writes about 9 falsehoods uttered by Hillary Clinton in Monday’s Presidential debate with Donald Trump. He lists “her nine biggest lies from the debate.” But to call all of Clinton’s false claims “lies” may not be accurate, since Clinton may genuinely believe in many of them. Admittedly, that was not true of all of them, since Clinton clearly told at least two lies, such as about her past position on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which she could not have been honestly mistaken about.

But other false claims she made just reflect mindless repetition of left-wing talking points, rather than her deliberately making something up. For example, she claimed that “it’s just a fact that if you’re a young African-American man and you do the same thing as a young white man, you are more likely to be arrested, charged, convicted, and incarcerated,” due to “the systemic racism in our criminal justice system.”

  19. Hillary Clinton failed to take highest security training at State Department in 2009

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton failed to complete the highest level of security training mandated by the Department of State for the proper handling of the government’s most secret documents when she entered the department in 2009, according to documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation under the Freedom of Information Act.

The State Department released 46 pages of previously unseen documents Tuesday under a Sept. 20, 2016, order issued by U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon.

The judge angrily told Department of Justice attorneys to stop dragging their feet, and ordered the State Department to conduct an expedited release of all training documents sought in TheDCNF’s FOIA for Clinton and her aides by Oct. 10, 2016.

The first batch of documents were to be released Monday, but that was delayed until early Tuesday

  20. >strong>Mordfall Untergriesheim: Anklage gegen 27 Jahre alten Asylbewerber

  21. IRAQ – Merciless Iraqi housewife ‘beheads and COOKS ISIS fighters’ to avenge her family’s death making her terror group’s most wanted

THIS is the head-cooking housewife and militia commander so feared by ISIS she has even received personal death threats from the terror group’s leader.

Machete-wielding Wahida Mohamed has been battling ISIS in its various guises since 2004.

And her grim methods of disposing with enemies has the jihadists so fearful they have tried to assassinate her SIX times.

Among the 39-year-old’s means of terrifying ISIS fighters is publishing pictures of her hoisting the heads of decapitated extremists in the air.

Better known as Um Hanadi, she readily admits boiling the heads of her enemies.

She told CNN: “I fought them. I beheaded them. I cooked their heads, I burned their bodies.”

The gruesome bloodlust stems from the heartbreak she has suffered at the hands of Islamic extremists ranging from al-Qaeda to ISIS since the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Her two husbands, father and three brother were all butchered by ISIS.

And Um Hanadi’s revenge has been merciless.

Leading a brigade of 70 militia, she has driven ISIS from her Iraqi village armed with only Kalashnikovs.

Her successes and social media presence brought her to the attention of the terror group’s top brass.

Seven times fundamentalists have tried to kill her using car bombs between 2006 and 2014 – and each time they have failed.

She even received personal death threats from the feared ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

  22. YEMEN – ‘Disturbed’ father of bride kills 12 at Yemen wedding

A wedding in Yemen ended in tragedy when the “mentally disturbed” father of the bride hurled two grenades, killing eight women, four children and himself, an official and relative said Tuesday.

Eighteen others, including women and children, were wounded in the incident late Monday in the town of Yarim, in western Ibb province, the official said.

A relative said the father, Hazaa Sharman, was a “mentally disturbed retired army officer.”

Yemen is awash with personal weapons and carrying firearms is entrenched in the traditions of the Arabian peninsula republic.

The impoverished nation has been ravaged by an 18-month conflict between Iran-backed rebels and government forces supported by a Saudi-led Arab coalition.

More than 6,600 people have been killed since the coalition launched its intervention, most of them civilians, and at least three million people have been displaced, according to the United Nations.

  23. Deputy Sec. Of State Anthony Blinken Is Unable To Outline The Administration’s Policy In Syria (September 29, 2016)

    • reuters -U.S. actively reviewing ‘new’ options on Syria: Blinken

U.S. national security agencies are reviewing options, including some new ones, on Syria, the second-ranking U.S. diplomat said on Thursday when asked what was the U.S. “Plan B” after the apparent failure of diplomacy to end the 5-1/2 year civil war.

“President (Barack Obama) has asked all of the agencies to put forward options, some familiar, some new, that we are very actively reviewing,” Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken told lawmakers. “When we are able to work through these in the days ahead we’ll have an opportunity to come back and talk about them in detail.”

Blinken gave no details. On Wednesday, U.S. officials told Reuters Obama administration officials had begun considering tougher responses to the Russian-backed Syrian government’s assault on Aleppo, including military options.

The new discussions were being held at “staff level,” and have yet to produce any recommendations to Obama, who has resisted ordering military action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the country’s multi-sided civil war.

Speaking to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Blinken said outside players involved in Syria could start pouring more resources into the conflict, which could ultimately hurt the Syrian president as well as Russia.

      • Secretary of State John Kerry warns Russia to stop bombing of Aleppo

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry warned his Russian counterpart the United States will suspend plans to coordinate anti-Islamic State counter-terrorism efforts if Moscow does not stop attacking Aleppo.

Kerry made the comment during a phone call with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday.

“Secretary Kerry expressed grave concern over the deteriorating situation in Syria, particularly for continued? Russian and Syrian regime attacks on hospitals, the water supply network, and other civilian infrastructure in Aleppo,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said in a statement. “The Secretary made clear the United States and its partners hold Russia responsible for this situation, including the use of incendiary and bunker buster bombs in an urban environment, a drastic escalation that puts civilians at great risk.”

The conversation between the diplomats followed a short-term cease-fire that began earlier this month in Syria between President Bashar al-Assad’s regime and a consolidated group of Syrian rebels. The cease-fire allowed for humanitarian aid to reach many Syrians.

The cease-fire was frequently violated, with attacks attributed to both sides. Last week, Assad declared the cease-fire was over and the regime began attacks on rebel positions, particularly targeting Aleppo, with the aid of Russian airstrikes.

The United States and Russia had planned to carry out joint efforts against Islamic State targets if a cease-fire between Assad and rebels held.

“The Secretary stressed that the burden remains on Russia to stop this assault and allow humanitarian access to Aleppo and other areas in need,” Kirby added of Kerry’s conversation with Lavrov. “He informed the foreign minister that the United States is making preparations to suspend U.S.-Russia bilateral engagement on Syria … unless Russia takes immediate steps to end the assault on Aleppo and restore the cessation of hostilities.”

    • UN Warns of ‘Disaster’ Once Iraqi Troops Take on IS in Mosul

A looming Iraqi military operation against the Islamic State group in Mosul could spark “one of the largest man-made disasters” in years, the U.N. refugee agency’s top official in Iraq warned Thursday, urging the international community to keep up support for displaced Iraqis before a battle that could mark a turning point for the war-ravaged country.

Bruno Geddo of UNHCR says more than 1 million people could be displaced by the campaign to retake the largest IS-held city, which has an estimated population of 1.2 to 1.5 million. The Iraqi government has pledged to retake Mosul this year, but has not announced a date for the operation — and has been gearing up with support from the United States and other allies.

Speaking Thursday to reporters after meetings with donors in Geneva, Geddo said UNHCR is preparing as well, but faces constraints in obtaining land for camps, erecting them in time, and winning full funding for its plans. He said UNHCR and partners are planning to provide tents, water, medical support and other services to the estimated 700,000 people who might flee Mosul.

The military operation in the city “has the potential to be one of the largest man-made disasters for many, many years.”

However, he said the agency is better prepared to act than before a similar government operation lasting 6-1/2 months to liberate Fallujah, west of Baghdad, in May and June, and noted lessons that UNCHR learned from that operation.

“The first lesson is: It is too late when you receive funding when the crisis hits the television screens, which has normally been the pattern in the past in dealing with humanitarian crises,” Geddo said. “We need funding to prepare in advance of the emergency.”

“This time, whereas Mosul may have dramatic — in the worst case apocalyptic — proportions, in a way we are in a better position because we know that it is coming,” and funding was coming together in part, he said.

Plans are, for example, to pre-position tents closer to the theater of operations, in case people flee before camps are ready.

“In an ideal situation, we should be able to provide a roof on every family within 24 hours,” he said. “It is going to be a huge challenge but we are planning to try our best to meet this.”

Geddo noted that the extremist IS group had deployed tactics like using civilians as human shields, and aired concerns about how Shiite militia groups allied with Iraqi troops had reportedly mistreated civilians fleeing Fallujah as suspected IS accomplices.

He said sustained international support was essential to help Iraq’s government overcome IS and stabilize the country.

“The Iraqi people deeply are traumatized. This war now, 2016-2017, might with luck mark a turning point for the country,” he said. “The international community should not succumb to fatigue, should stay the course, should continue to support Iraq as much as we can, so that Iraq can mark the turning point.”

UN says may struggle to accommodate refugees from Mosul battle

More than a million people could flee the Islamic State stronghold of Mosul when the Iraqi army launches an assault on the city, the United Nations said, warning it lacked facilities to house about 400,000 of them.

Bruno Geddo, chief of the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR in Iraq, said Emergency camps would include 18,000 tents in open areas, and those not lucky enough to get a tent might get one of 50,000 emergency shelter kits.

“An emergency shelter kit is a sack of 15kg which includes hammer, rope, wire, nails, plastic sheeting and timber. Each will be used to build a rudimentary shelter,” Geddo told a news conference in Geneva.

A further 30,000 will get “sealing off kits” – emergency kits with a plank of plywood that can be used to create some privacy in a communal shelter. The U.N. is also procuring 100,000 kits with core relief items, including blankets, jerry cans, buckets and kitchen utensils.

Geddo said the battle for Mosul, seized by Islamic state as it swept across Iraq two years ago, was expected to begin as soon as October, and most probably by the end of 2016.

“Mosul has the potential to be one of the largest manmade disasters for many, many years…More than a million could be displaced as a result of the forthcoming offensive.”

The U.N. expects to have to help at least 700,000 with shelter, food and water, and UNHCR is building or planning 11 camps with lighting, piped water and 20,000 family plots – spaces for a six-person tent demarcated by bricks to keep scorpions and snakes out.

The Iraqi government plans camps to accommodate up to 150,000 more. But that leaves about 400,000 places lacking, and the U.N., lacking time and available land, is “frantically” preparing to set up emergency camps close to the battle.

The U.N. said in July it would need $284 million to prepare for the battle and up to $1.8 billion to deal with the aftermath.

UNHCR’s needs are still only 33 percent funded.

“It is too late if you receive funding when the crisis hits the television screen,” Geddo said. “Each family plot in a UNHCR camp costs $2,000. We are short of 6,200 family plots, $15 million. It’s not cheap.”

Things could be even worse if Islamic State fighters decide to make a “last stand” and there is massive destruction in the city, or to use civilians as human shields as they did in the battle for Falluja in June, he said.

Geddo said it was not his remit to deal with any captured Islamic State fighters, but he said the U.N. had received assurances that they would be treated as prisoners of war.

    • U.S. to Send 600 More Troops to Iraq to Help Retake Mosul From ISIS

WASHINGTON — President Obama has authorized sending an additional 600 American troops to Iraq to assist Iraqi forces in the looming battle to take back the city of Mosul from the Islamic State, United States officials said on Wednesday.

The announcement means that there will soon be 5,000 American troops in Iraq, seven years after the Obama administration withdrew all American troops from the country. Donald J. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has criticized both Mr. Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee, for that decision.

Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter, traveling in New Mexico, said the additional troops would help with logistics as well as providing intelligence for Iraqi security forces in the fight for Mosul. Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said last week that Iraqi forces would be ready to retake the city by early October.

“These are military forces that will be deployed to intensify the strategy that’s in place, to support Iraqi forces as they prepare for an offensive,” Josh Earnest, the White House press secretary, said Wednesday.

Administration officials insisted that the deployment was consistent with Mr. Obama’s policy not to commit American ground forces again in Iraq. Mr. Obama, who vowed to end the Iraq war in his 2008 presidential campaign, has been wary of increasing the number of American troops there. The officials said the Americans would be there to assist Iraqi and Kurdish forces, who they said were leading the operations to retake the Islamic State’s remaining territory.

Mrs. Clinton said at an NBC News forum on national security this month that she would not put ground troops in Iraq “ever again.” Mr. Trump said in March that he would deploy up to 30,000 American troops in the Middle East to defeat the Islamic State.

‘Russia will continue to send troops home [from Syria] in body bags’ – US State Dept

      • This is a big mistake, we won’t have enough troops in country to do anything and they will be very much in harms way. If we aren’t going to fight to win and thanks to Obama we don’t have enough men to fight to win we should cut and run. Saying that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth but it is the best of the many bad options we have. sending in more penny packets of troops to end up isolated and in areas where we can’t support them is the worst of the many bad options. But I care about us not throwing away the lives of our soldiers while Obama doesn’t, he just wants good headlines until Hillary is elected or he is out of office and he can blame the mess on someone else.

  24. Is Islamic Fundamentalism as an Ideology Threatening Liberal Democracy?

Guest Post by Shingirai Robson Nyahwa

Religious fundamentalism is a set of strategies by which beleaguered believers attempt to preserve their distinctive identity as a people or group in response to a real or imagined attack from those who it appears want to draw the religious believers into syncretistic or irreligious cultural milieus. Hence Islamic fundamentalism is a conservative religious movement that seeks to a return to Islamic value and Islamic laws (sharia) in the face of western modernism which is seen as corrupt and atheistic. On the other hand liberal democracy is a phrase often used to describe western democratic political systems which is propounded by philosophers such as Rawls, Rousseau and Locke. It emphasizes the right of individuals which are inalienable and which the government cannot infringe upon. Therefore from the above definitions it can be deduced that to a larger extent Islamic fundamentalism is incompatible with liberal democracy, hence threatening its existence. Islamic fundamentalism is inconsistent with the universal declaration of human rights of 1948, which is the cornerstone of liberal democracy. Chief amongst them are universal, civil, and political rights and equality before the law. However to a lesser extent Islamic fundamentalism is slowly but surely adopting some elements of liberal democracy such as public participation in political systems as well as holding of elections in countries such as Egypt, Iran, and Iraq

  25. Slew of ANTI-SEMITIC Posters Appear on UC Berkeley Campus

The University of California at Berkeley (UCB) has for years been considered one of the most prestigious universities in the land even as it has built a reputation for left-wing craziness and lack of tolerance for anything other than liberal orthodoxy. In recent years, it has been among the leaders in pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel activism. One reason is the presence of Professor Hatem Bazian, a Palestinian who came to the US to obtain his higher education and is now ensconced at Berkeley. This is a character who has called for an intifada in the US and has been reported to have told a student audience to go out and count the number of buildings on campus with Jewish names. In addition, Bazian is a co-founder of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), a brown shirt organization that uses tactics of bullying, disruption and intimidation on campuses nation-wide. Bazian is also co-founder of something called the Islamophobia Research and Documentation Center, which in spite of its grandiose title, occupies little more than a broom closet in room 638 of Barrows Hall on the UCB campus.

  26. France’s New Sharia Police

    by Yves Mamou
    September 29, 2016 at 5:30 am

The Council of State, the highest administrative court in France, decided that, to allow freedom of religion, the burkini must not be banned. At first the ruling looked sound: why should people not be able to wear what they wish when they wish? What is not visible, however, is that the harm comes later.

If someone still does not realize that the Islamic dress code is the Trojan horse of Islamist jihad, he will learn it fast.

    A few recent incidents include:

September 7. In Guingamp, Brittany, a 17-year-old girl in shorts was beaten by a man who considered her outfit “too provocative”. Although the attacker escaped, so that the police have no idea who he is or what his background might be, it is a taste of things to come.

September 7. In Toulon, southern France, two families were on a bicycle path when they were insulted by a gang of 10 “youths” (the French press uses “jeunes” [youths] in order not to say Arabs or Muslims). According to the local prosecutor, the “youths” shouted at the women, “whores!” and “strip naked!” When the women’s husbands protested, the “youths” approached and a fight began. One of the husbands was found unconscious with multiple facial fractures.

At first, the motive of the attack was reported to be linked to the women wearing shorts, but in fact the women were not wearing shorts; they were wearing leggings.

July 19. In a resort in Garde-Colombe (Alps), a Moroccan man stabbed a woman and her three daughters, apparently because they were scantily dressed. One of the girls was seriously injured. The attacker, Mohamed, says that he was the “victim,” because he claims the husband of the woman he stabbed scratched his own crotch in front of Mohamed’s wife. According to the prosecutor, “the husband of the victim does not remember having made such a gesture.”

  27. Let’s Lock The Door To Islam

    by Geert Wilders
    September 29, 2016 at 4:00 am

Yesterday, I visited Maassluis. It is a town near Rotterdam, where the indigenous Dutch inhabitants have become the victims of immigrant youths of Moroccan descent.

Cars have been demolished, houses vandalized, people threatened. The Dutch no longer feel free and safe in their own city. When the local radio station interviewed some of the victims and referred to the perpetrators as Moroccans, it received an anonymous letter: “You are racists! Your time will come! I won’t take care of it because I am too old. But our boys are the new soldiers.”

Maassluis. It is just one of the many Dutch towns and neighborhoods terrorized by Moroccan or Turkish youth gangs. Others are Schilderswijk, Oosterwei, Kanaleneiland, Zaandam, Helmond. Not surprisingly, a poll shows that 43% of the Dutch people want fewer Moroccan immigrants in our country. These people are not racists; they are decent people, patriots who love their country and do not want to lose it.

The great Ronald Reagan once said that “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” These wise words are more true today than ever before. We are the free men and women of the West.

Freedom is our birthright. But if we fail to defend it, we are bound to lose it. And, sadly, that is exactly what is happening today.

2016’s Black Summer of Jihad, with terror attacks all over the free world, teaches us that the enemies of freedom are already among us. The ruling elites all over the Western world have accepted millions of people into our countries without demanding that they assimilate.

Many of these immigrants acquired our nationality. But some do not care for our country at all. They do not love it. They do not respect it. Nor do they respect us and our values.

  28. EXCLUSIVE: Vanessa Kerry’s Nonprofit Failed Big Time, But State Department Paid Her Anyway

A nonprofit created and led by Secretary of State John Kerry’s daughter failed to deliver on promises made in government contracts and was subsequently awarded millions of Department of State dollars, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

Dr. Vanessa Kerry’s nonprofit – called Seed Global Health – pledged to send 90 volunteer doctors and nurses to between 10 and 14 Third World countries in 2016, documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation show. Instead, just over 70 volunteers were sent to only five countries.

Her group faced similar problems in earlier years, but that didn’t stop the Department of State from handing Seed another $6.4 million.

The Department of State has given Seed a total of more than $9 million since 2012, which was funneled through the Peace Corps, as TheDCNF previously reported. Kerry’s nonprofit began missing contractually-required targets almost from its outset.

But instead of penalizing Seed for failing to fulfill its contractual obligations, the Peace Corps lowered Seed’s requirements and extended its contract with more non-competitively awarded funds provided by the State Department, documents obtained by TheDCNF show.

The contracts were awarded under the Peace Corps-run and State Department-funded Global Health Service Partnership (GHSP) – a program Kerry established in conjunction with officials from both agencies. She formed Seed specifically for the medical volunteers program and has never competed with other organizations for the funding.

A 2012 Peace Corps contract required Seed to send 40 volunteers to five countries in 2014. Instead, Seed sent 42 volunteers to just three countries, documents show.

  29. I am reluctant to post this one because it gets into conspiracy territory.

Debate moderator Lester Holt was definitely in Hillary Clinton’s corner during the first presidential debate, but was a secret exchange caught on tape after?

There have been accusations floating around every since the debate ended on Monday night, ranging from plain liberal media bias, all the way to active cheating by Clinton and Holt. Now, a seemingly innocuous video from the post-debate cleanup appears to show something being removed from Hillary Clinton’s podium and then handed to Lester Holt.

“AN ITALIAN woman thought to be the first jihadi bride from the country to travel Syria may be back in Italy after she was spotted in Milan.

Maria Giulia, who goes by the name Fatima, was apparently seen using the Milan subway and a witness claimed she had dyed her hair to avoid detection.

According to a statement by the cousin of Sergio Sergio, the father of the alleged jihadi, Maria Giulia was spotted “in the subway in Milan, with blonde hair”.

Investigators had been convinced that the Italian foreign fighter was still in Syria.

Fears are now growing that Fatima may be planning an attack in Italy.

Another family friend described the jihadi bride as a “sweet, pretty and intelligent girl”.

But she said Fatima began acting differently in 2007 before travelling to Syria.

The family are being tried in Italy for charges related to terrorism.

Her father Mr Sergio, her Albanian husband Aldo Kobuzi who went to Syria with her and two other fugitives, Domika Coku, Kobuzi’s mother, and Haik Bushra, the Canadian-born woman who indoctrinated Maria Giulia and her sister Marianna are all standing trial.

Her mother, Assunta Sergio, died before the trial, while Marianna, Maria Giulia’s sister, has already been sentenced to five years in jail.”

  36. ‘We either protect Europe or we LOSE it’ Hungary PM would deport all illegal migrants (express, Sep 29, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/715709/Hungary-prime-minister-Viktor-Orban-deport-all-illegal-migrants-referendum-border

““WE either protect our home Europe or we are going to lose it completely,” Hungary’s prime minster said today as he ramped-up anti-migrant rhetoric ahead of the weekend referendum.

Sunday’s vote is essentially to decide whether Hungary’s borders are controlled by the national parliament or by the EU.

The openly anti-migrant Viktor Orban believes that a vote to retain control at national level may have a domino effect within the EU and for that reason politicians of Brussels are already attacking it.

Mr Orban said: “By a successful referendum we can possibly succeed in fights with those who want to weaken Europe by uncontrolled migration.

“We should deport all of those who entered Europe unlawfully. We either protect our home, Europe, or we are going to lose it completely.”

The Hungarian leader claims the EU’s open-door migrant policy is triggering deeper problems for Europe and even the refugees.

Mr Orban thinks the solution lies in stopping migrants from leaving their homes completely.

He said: “Accepting the influx of migrants in Europe is like going to war with our hands thrown up in the air.

“We believe that we should protect our borders and we should avoid hundreds of thousands of people from entering Europe.

“Furthermore, we should effectively stop them from leaving their own countries.

“We should bring the help to the root of the problem.”

The Hungarian Prime Minister who has already spoken out about his plans to create an EU army in order to protect the borders of Schengen, has just started to recruit new army officers to prevent another massive migrant influx.

He said: “We are strengthening our police by recruiting 3000 border-huntsmen and we just recently decided about the strengthening of the Serbian- Hungarian border as well.””

“The Italian region of Liguria has approved a controversial law that may make it almost impossible for new mosques to be built. Critics describe the law as anti-constitutional.

The set of new rules suggested by the Northern League party was adopted by a narrow majority, with 16 votes in favor and 15 against on Wednesday, according to Italian newspaper Il Secolo XIX.

The new restrictions define the criteria a new religious building should meet to gain a construction permit.

Any such construction must not run counter to the “architectural and dimensional suitability of religious buildings with the general and specific characteristics of the Ligurian landscape,” the paper reported, meaning mosques and minarets may be found “un-Ligurian” and as such don’t belong to the current image of the region.

The law, though not attributed to any particular religion, has been dubbed “anti-mosque” by local media outlets.
