Moslem “Refugees” as Snakes (Music Video)
    By Grand Rapids Anonymous

This poem, by Al Wilson-written in 1968-is being read by Trump at his rallies. The comparison to Mideast “refugees” is brilliant.

On her way to work one morning,
Down the path alongside the lake,
    A tender-hearted woman
    Saw a poor, half-frozen snake,
His pretty colored skin had been
    all frosted with the dew.

    “Oh well,” she cried,
    “I’ll take you in,
And I’ll take care of you.”

“Take me in, oh tender woman,
Take me in, for heaven’s sake
Take me in oh tender woman,”
    Sighed the snake.

She wrapped him up all cozy,
    In a curvature of silk,
And then laid him by the fireside
with some honey and some milk

Now she hurried home from work,
That night as soon as she arrived,
    She found that pretty snake
She’d taken in had been revived.

Now she clutched him to her bosom,
    “You’re so beautiful,” she cried,
“But if I hadn’t brought you in
By now you might have died,”

Now she stroked his pretty skin
and then she kissed and held him tight
    But instead of saying thanks,
That snake gave her a vicious bite.

“I saved you,” cried that woman,
“And you’ve bit me even, why?
You know your bite is poisonous
And now I’m going to die”

    “Oh shut up, silly woman,”
Said the reptile with a grin,
“You knew damn well I was a snake
    Before you took me in.

N.S. It’s even worse than that because, whereas the type of person depicted in the song will get herself killed, genocidal “humanitarians” want to get the rest of us killed.

    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/713656/British-women-travelling-to-Calais-Jungle-camp-have-sex-with-migrants

“BRITISH women volunteering in the Calais Jungle camp have been accused of having sex with migrant men and underage boys.

A whistleblower raised the alarm alleging some volunteers slept with multiple migrants within 24 hours.

Volunteers have also been accused of using camp prostitutes…”

  3. Female Muslim teacher RESIGNS after being ordered to shake hands with male colleagues (express, Sep 23, 2016)
    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/713647/female-muslim-teacher-resigns-refuses-to-shake-hands-with-male-colleagues-Sweden

“A MUSLIM woman has quit her teaching job after refusing to shake hands with male members of staff.

Fardous El-Sakka resigned from her role carrying out supply work at Kunskapsskolan Helsingborg school, in the city of Helsingborg, southern Sweden.

But the 20-year-old was hauled in by the school principal after refusing to shake her male colleague’s hand for religious reasons.

Instead the Muslim woman, who was once a pupil at the school, chose to put her hand on her heart and bow to male colleagues.

When Miss El-Sakka chose to bow to one colleague he took offence and reported her to the headteacher.

School principal Lidija Münchmeyer told Swedish newspaper Expressen: “The man felt tremendously discriminated against by her.

“The school doesn’t differentiate between people or treat them differently. That’s what we advocate from our students, so the staff also have to do that.”

Miss El-Sakka decided to quit her job rather than go against her religious beliefs, that forbid her from touching any member of the opposite sex who is not related to her.

Principal Münchmeyer said: ”I would like to clarify that the school did not sack Fardous. She chose to leave after I explained what the school’s core values are. I would also like to carefully point out that the issue was not her religious beliefs, but rather it is about choosing to treat men and women differently by shaking the hands of women but not men.

“We at the school treat all sexes on the principle of gender equality. If the the Equality Ombudsman were to decide that we have acted wrongly, we would naturally look at how we approach or interpret that.”

The incident has now been reported to Sweden’s Equality Ombudsman after Miss El-Sakka went to the trade union Unionen with a complaint about her treatment.

She told The Local: “I haven’t received a reply from the union yet, they’re still looking at my case, so I don’t want to say too much until I’ve got some kind of information from them about what will happen with it.

“It’s a special school for me because I was a student there. But I don’t think I can see a way back there now.”

It is the latest in a spate of rows over Muslims refusing to shake hands with members of the opposite sex in Europe.

Earlier this week a court ruled a Muslim schoolboy in Basel, Switzerland must shake hands with his female teachers after he refused to on the grounds of his religious beliefs.

In July a man lost his job at a Swedish council for refusing to shake hands with female colleagues and three months earlier former Green Party politician Yasri Khan resigned after refusing to shake a TV reporter’s hand.”

  4. Who Is Behind The Riots? Charlotte Police Says 70% Of Arrested Protesters Had Out Of State IDs

Confirming what many had suspected when viewing the sudden and intense collapse into anrchy that occurred in Charlotte this week, Todd Walther, spokesman for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fraternal Order of Police told CNN’s Erin Burnett:

“This is not Charlotte that’s out here. These are outside entities that are coming in and causing these problems. These are not protestors, these are criminals.”

“We’ve got the instigators that are coming in from the outside. They were coming in on buses from out of state. If you go back and look at some of the arrests that were made last night. I can about say probably 70% of those had out-of-state IDs. They’re not coming from Charlotte.”

  5. Third night of protests in US city amid heavy security

Charlotte (AFP) – Protesters took to the streets for a third night in the US city of Charlotte on Thursday amid heavy security aimed at preventing more clashes over the fatal police shooting of a black man.

Hundreds marched to the city police station carrying signs saying “Stop killing us” and “Resistance is beautiful,” but the atmosphere was far calmer than the previous two nights.

Pressure was growing on police to release video of the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott, a 43-year-old African American, whose killing on Tuesday sparked the unrest.

Scott’s death was the latest in a string of police-involved killings of black men that have fueled outrage across the United States.

North Carolina’s governor has declared a state of emergency in Charlotte, and several hundred National Guard troops and highway police officers were deployed to reinforce local police protecting city infrastructure and businesses.

  6. Top U.S. general: Unwise to share intelligence with Russia on Syria

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The top U.S. general told Congress on Thursday it would be unwise to share intelligence with Russia and stressed that would not be one of the military’s missions if Washington and Moscow were to ever work together against Islamist militants in Syria.

The United States and Russia clinched a ceasefire deal earlier this month that held out the possibility of joint targeting of militants after a cessation of hostilities and delivery of humanitarian aid.

The text of one of several related documents, published on Thursday by the State Department, said both countries would “share intelligence and develop actionable targets for military action” against the al Qaeda-linked group formerly known as Nusra Front.

It also called for “independent but synchronized efforts” in the fight against Islamic State.

But Marine General Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the U.S. military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, suggested any such military coordination at a so-called “joint integration cell” would be extremely limited. The military, he said, had no intention of forging an intelligence sharing arrangement with Russia.

  7. Texas announces withdrawal from federal refugee resettlement program
    By J.E. Dyer September 22, 2016

There may be more – or less – here than meets the eye.

On Wednesday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that the state would be withdrawing from cooperation with the U.S. refugee resettlement program on 31 January 2017.

The governor’s announcement cited security concerns, which include an Iraqi refugee with ties to ISIS who plotted to detonate explosives in a mall on Houston. He was arrested earlier this year in mid-plot.

But Texas has been working on this problem for a while, and so far without success. The state actually made a similar announcement in November 2015, right after the ghastly Islamic terror attacks in Paris that took the lives of 130 people. Nearly two dozen states made the same announcement that month.

At the time, the Obama administration brushed these declarations off as unenforceable. And in fact, in 2016, Obama has significantly increased the total number of refugees admitted to the U.S. He is programming an even greater increase in refugee admissions for 2017.

In December 2015, Texas sued the federal government to stop resettling refugees in Texas until there was a better procedure for security vetting, and for notifying the state of security (and other) information about the refugees. Texas also pressed the International Rescue Committee (IRC), one of the NGOs contracted by the U.S. government to resettle the refugees, for information on them. The IRC declined to cooperate.

  8. Joint Chiefs Chairman outright contradicts Obama policy on cooperating with Russia in Syria
By J.E. DyerThings are moving fast now, although it isn’t clear where they’re going.

For the first time, a serving general officer has explicitly and categorically — and officially — contradicted the stated policy of the Obama administration. He’s basically said the policy will not be executed.

This isn’t a matter of shading a meaning here and there, so that the White House and the Pentagon can seem to be saying the same thing even though they’re not. Nor is it a matter of differing interpretations of facts, or carefully framed silence from the military, which can avoid contradicting the president or his other top officials directly, but also convey to knowledgeable observers that the senior brass in the military sees things differently.

No, in this case, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has just told Congress that the military will not execute a policy touted through press disclosures by the Obama administration, alluded to in general terms, on multiple occasions, by Obama, and urgently pursued by John Kerry.

Morgan Chalfant summarized the statement from General Joseph Dunford, USMC, to the Senate Armed Services Committee on 22 September:

  9. Clinton’s eyes moving out of sync during recent speech suggest need for neurological exam

Everyone laughed in 2001 when President George W. Bush said of Vladimir Putin, “I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straightforward and trustworthy…. I was able to get a sense of his soul.”

During a speech in Philadelphia last week, voters who looked Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in the eye likely found something pretty disturbing.

Here’s a slo-mo video assembled from the speech that reveals the abnormal eye movement. (The video starts gratuitously with a lizard’s eyes moving out of sync).

  10. If you’ve been wanting to avoid global government, thank Obama
    By J.E. Dyer

Barack Obama said stupid things at the UN this week, and that has been duly noted. (Duly noted in several places, in fact. Like here. And here.)

Obama’s speech, in which he regretted America in the usual manner, but made weirdly unrealistic assertions about American power and behavior as well – also in the usual manner – may be best remembered for the passage on ceding national sovereignty.

But it’s important to follow the thread of Obama’s full argument, so I want to link together the segments of the speech that develop it. (The complete transcript can be found here.)

    The UN speech’s argument

The argument unfolds below. It’s Obama tying these concepts together, remember, implying that one thing leads to or is responsible for another. I’ve annotated it with bracketed comments.

  11. Turkey Decides Against Turning Back the Clocks, But What About the UEFA Champions League? The Relationship Between Politics and Culture
[.... but please don't forget the relationship between Erdogan and Islam ]</code

On 7 September 2016 the Turkish cabinet decided to observe Daylight Savings Time (DST) year round, and the clocks will not be turning back on 30 October. I will let the Hurriyet Daily News explain:

Before this newly introduced practice, Turkey was acting in accordance with European countries regarding the practice’s [Daylight Savings Time] beginning and ending dates. The decision means that Turkey will be three hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in winter as well as summer and two hours ahead of continental Europe in winter.[...]

[ October 2012 ] Turkey May Set Its Clocks by Mecca, Not Greenwich

This is truly becoming a puzzle. Every time our Ministry of Energy announces that Turkey will be permanently on summer time I am delighted. We were officially told that this October was going to be end of clock changes. Now they say not yet, and we are going back to the hated winter time once again.

We have another issue with our hours. The ministry wants to change the meridian Turkey uses to set its clocks.

As the 40th meridian also passes through Saudi Arabia, it will mean Turkey will be twinned with Riyadh instead of Athens, as it is now.

Then I noticed something else relevant. It was a news report about the Mecca Kingdom Clock that is being installed in Zem Zem Towers Building, close to the Kaaba. Six tons of gold were used in that impressive structure.

The Saudi Kingdom is now calling on Muslim countries to use Islamic Mean Time (IMT), which will based on this clock tower as a reference, and abandon Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). According to reports, many Arab media outlets, led by Al-Jazeera, are now arranging their programs according to the new time reference.[...]

    • Syria rebels form Free Idlib Army

The Free Syrian Army-affiliated Northern Division, Mountain Hawks Brigade and Division 13 announced their merger into the new fighting force.

BEIRUT – Free Syrian Army-affiliated rebel factions in northwestern Aleppo have announced the formation of a new group dubbed the Free Idlib Army.

On Thursday, officers from the Northern Division, Mountain Hawks Brigade and Division 13 announced their “complete unity in the Free Idlib Army,” declaring that they were dissolving “previous titles under one organization and one leadership.”

“We are working under Allah’s judgment to defend our people… and to support all our brothers who share this lofty and noble goal with us,” the spokesperson for the group said in their opening video statement.

In an interview with Qasioun News, one of the leaders of Free Idlib Army said its formation came after “numerous and longstanding appeals from civilians in liberated regions to unite,” adding that the new group will “protect the principles of the Syrian revolution.

According to reports in pro-opposition media, Mountain Hawks Brigade chief Colonel Hassan Hajj Ali was selected as the leader of the Free Idlib Army, while Northern Division commander Fares al-Bayoush was appointed deputy leader, with Colonel Afif Sleiman assuming the post of military council chief.

The Free Idlib Army counts on a fighting force of 6,000 combatants, 200 of them officers, according to the group’s new deputy leader.

Meanwhile, Division 13 chief Ahmad Saud explained that the Free Idlib Army’s main bases will be in the southern Idlib towns of Maaret al-Numaan and Kafr Nabl, whose residents in the past have protested against the Nusra Front.

Nusra attacked a Division 13 base in Maaret al-Numaan in March 2016, sparking an angry response from the town’s residents against the jihadist group, which rebranded itself as Jabhat Fatah al-Sham in July after dropping its official ties with Al-Qaeda.

Despite the bitter relationship between Division 13 and Nusra, Saud said that the Free Idlib Army will seek to “coordinate with the Army of Conquest,” the rebel coalition spread across the Idlib province which includes Jabhat Fatah al-Sham.

However, a source told the pro-rebel 7al.me outlet that the Free Idlib Army will not participate in any military operations alongside Jabhat Fatah al-Sham.

    • China enters fray in Syria on Bashar al-Assad’s side

Country has joined Russia and Iran in supporting the Syrian government in war

China, Russia and Iran have come together in a tripartite alliance supporting the Syrian government in the war against radical fundamentalist insurgents.

The main targets of this alliance are Islamic State and Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, formerly al-Qaeda’s affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra, and its partners.

Until last week Russia and Iran were the military mainstays of the overstretched and undermanned Syrian army.

China signalled it was prepared to join them by dispatching high-profile rear admiral Guan Youfei, head of Beijing’s office for international military co-operation, to Damascus to hold discussions with the Syrian defence minister Fahd Jassem al-Freij.

China offered to train Syrian military personnel and provide humanitarian aid. While Chinese advisers are routinely deployed to teach Syrian soldiers how to use Chinese weapons, the proposal to have advisers on a regular basis amounts to direct engagement in the conflict on the government’s side.

[…]China, Russia and Iran appear to have joined forces to counter the coalition of radical insurgents forged by Idlib-based Jaish al-Fatah, dominated by the Jabhat and Ahrar al-Sham, which briefly broke the Syrian army siege of insurgent-held eastern Aleppo on August 5th.

These two groups coalesced with other smaller factions, including Saudi-sponsored Jaish al-Islam, after receiving a substantial injection of armoured vehicles, weapons and ammunition from Saudi Arabia and Qatar via Turkey.

Russia, Iran and China are not prepared to yield northern Syria to Jaish al-Fatah and Islamic State and US-backed Syrian Kurds, who are trying to drive government troops from the border city of Hasakeh in the east.

On the political level China and Russia have been on the same page since conflict erupted in Syria in 2011. Both permanent UN Security Council members, they have blocked resolutions critical of the Damascus government.

[…]Moscow, Tehran and Beijing fear the fall of secular Damascus would lead to the establishment of jihadi fiefdoms in Syria from which radicals would mount attacks into southern Russia and Iran and promote Muslim dissidence in China.

Some 2,500 Russians and 7,000 citizens of former Soviet countries have been recruited by Islamic State and al-Qaeda. Iran has been battling a separatist rebellion in western Khuzestan (Arabistan) province and seeks to crush Sunni radicals who jeopardise pro-Iranian Shia dominance in Iraq.

China is also fighting an insurgency mounted by radical Uyghur militants in the strategic Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region of China.

    • RT -AP leaks one of the 5 Syria ceasefire docs, Moscow says always wanted them public

AP news agency has published a leaked document from the Russia-US brokered Syria ceasefire deal, one of five such documents. Moscow says it has always called on Washington to make the ceasefire documents public.

      http://vladtepesblog.com/2016/09/22/readers-links-for-september-22-2016/#comment-324842

The text leaked by AP represents part of the ceasefire agreement signed between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his US counterpart, John Kerry, on September 9 in Geneva.

Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said on Thursday that Russia had always called for the documents to be made public.

“We believe that the publishing of these documents will contribute directly to their implementation and the way toward the Syrian settlement,” the diplomat went on to say.

Zakharova added, however, that she is surprised that the documents have been leaked instead of publishing them “on the official website of the State Department.”

“But that represents the style of our American colleagues,” she said.

However now, documents about the Syria ceasefire, including the same one released by AP as well as those dated earlier this year, can be found on the website of the US State Department. It was not immediately clear whether the files were uploaded to the website before or after AP published the leaked document.

The document in question includes the details of the initial two-day ceasefire, which came into effect on September 12. Both Russia and the US agreed to use their influence on the western-backed rebels and the Syrian government to stick to the truce.

Humanitarian aid deliveries are also described in detail by the document.

On September 19, the Syrian army declared an end to the cessation of hostilities, citing numerous attacks by the “terrorist groups.” The Syrian government claimed that instead of using the time to allow human aid deliveries, the militants amassed more troops and regrouped reinforcements.

Last Saturday US-led coalition jets bombarded positions of government troops in Syria near the town of Deir ez-Zor, killing at least 83 people, according to the latest government figures. While the US spoke of a “mistake,” Damascus called the incident “blatant aggression.”

Another setback for the ceasefire came on September 19 when unknown attackers hit a UN convoy heading to Aleppo. According to the Red Cross, 20 civilians and one aid worker died as a result. It is still not clear who carried out the atrocity.

Speaking to the UN Security Council on Wednesday, Lavrov called on the international community to start “an impartial investigation” and said that Moscow had provided all the relevant data it has on the incident.

The ceasefire in Syria and a way to boost the peace process in the country were key issues at the UNSC meeting on Wednesday. While John Kerry said that Russia-US plan was “far from perfect,” he noted that there was no alternative to a peaceful solution in Syria.

Lavrov echoed Kerry’s comments, saying that negotiations should be continued in Geneva to reach a proper deal on Syria. Speaking at the UNSC, Syria’s ambassador to the UN, Bashar al-Ja’afari, signaled that his country is ready for talks without any preconditions.

“My country is ready to resume intra-Syrian dialogue with no preconditions and according to decisions and foundations that launched this very dialogue, in order to reach a political solution that is decided by the Syrians,” Ja’afari said.

  14. GOP lawmaker: FBI gave immunity for Clinton aide’s testimony

WASHINGTON (AP) — A congressman says Hillary Clinton’s former chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, and two other staff members were granted immunity deals in exchange for their cooperation in the now-closed FBI investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (CHAY’-fits), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, tells the Associated Press that Mills gave federal investigators access to her laptop on the condition that findings couldn’t be used against her. Chaffetz says, “No wonder they couldn’t prosecute a case. They were handing out immunity deals like candy.”

Chaffetz says the two others granted immunity were John Bentel, then-director of the State Department’s Office of Information Resources Management, and Clinton aide Heather Samuelson. Two other people were previously identified as receiving immunity deals.

    • WSJ – Most of Clinton’s Recovered Emails Will Be Released After Election Day

Group seeking Clinton emails calls process ‘absolutely corrupt’

WASHINGTON—Most of Hillary Clinton’s emails recovered during a Federal Bureau of Investigation probe into practices from her time as secretary of state won’t be made public until after Election Day, according to a new timetable set Friday by a federal judge.

Judge James Boasberg on Friday ordered the State Department to finish processing 1,050 pages of material for release by Nov. 4—just a fraction of what could be as much as 10,000 pages of material.

The judge set the new timetable, which previously was expected to play out in the coming weeks, after acknowledging that the State Department was struggling to manage the burden of dozens of lawsuits and thousands of requests for records from Mrs. Clinton’s time in office.

The new schedule would push the release of most of the newly discovered emails past Election Day in what continues to be an ongoing controversy for the Clinton campaign that could linger well into her first term in office if she wins the White House in November.

The first batch of emails is due to be released on Oct. 7, with two other pre-Election Day releases scheduled for Oct. 21 and Nov. 4. After that, the State Department has committed processing 500 pages a month.

The State Department says it has identified roughly 15,000 email messages to or from Mrs. Clinton that the FBI recovered and turned over to the State Department. Of those 15,000, about 9,400 have been deemed purely personal and will be excluded from release, according to lawyers representing the department. Another 5,600 emails were deemed work-related, but State Department attorneys warned that up to 50% of those are duplicates of emails that Mrs. Clinton already turned over.

Department lawyers said they aren’t sure how many total pages the newly discovered emails comprise but that each email comprised on average about 1.8 pages, they said.
The names of three top Clinton aides continue to surface in newly publicized emails, putting them at the center of the controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation. WSJ’s Shelby Holliday explains who they are and how they ended up in Clintons’ inner circle. Photo: Getty Images

Mrs. Clinton’s emails are being sought as part of a lawsuit by the conservative group Judicial Watch, which is also the plaintiff in almost two dozen other lawsuits seeking a wide variety of government records from Mrs. Clinton’s time in office.

After the judge’s order, Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said that “the American people could be deprived of this information at this essential time.”

“This is an absolutely corrupt process the State Department has come up with,” he said, blaming the department for the continuing delays.

The roughly 15,000 emails were discovered as part of the FBI investigation into whether Mrs. Clinton or her aides mishandled classified information while serving in government. The FBI closed that investigation without recommending any charges.

Mrs. Clinton’s attorneys turned over roughly 30,000 emails to the State Department in 2014 making up roughly 55,000 pages. Her attorneys deleted another 30,000 that they deemed purely personal—some of which were recovered by the Bureau as part of its investigation.

The State Department is involved in dozens of lawsuits over Mrs. Clinton’s department records and is under court-imposed orders to produce documents in a number of those suits.

A State Department spokesman said many of the recovered emails “contain significant overlap with a document previously provided by former secretary Clinton.” In addition, the department said some of the newly recovered emails were chains that included Mrs. Clinton initially but later dropped her.

  15. Protest Thugs and the Real Evil in Charlotte
Nothing says “family man” like assaulting women and children.

    Keith Lamont Scott was scum.

He had been convicted of assault with a deadly weapon in two different states and convicted of assault in three states. He had been hit with “assault with intent to kill” charges in the 90s. His record of virtue included “assault on a child under 12” and “assault on a female.”

The media spin; “Family and neighbors call Scott a quiet ‘family man.’”

Nothing says “quiet” like “assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill” and nothing says “family man” like assaulting women and children.

Keith Lamont Scott, the latest martyr of Black Lives Matter and its media propaganda corps, was shot while waving a gun around. He had spent 7 years in jail for “aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.”

This vicious monster’s career of crime ended when he was shot by Brentley Vinson, an African-American police officer, protecting himself from the latest rampage by this “quiet family man.”

  16. Is Obama’s ‘Narrative Battle’ with ISIS or Reality?
The latest lies and strawman arguments meant to defend Islam.

According to White House press secretary Josh Earnest, “When it comes to ISIL, we are in a fight—a narrative fight with them. A narrative battle.” Earnest said this the day after two separate bombings occurred in New York, and an ISIS-linked Muslim went on a stabbing spree in Minnesota. Obama’ spokesman later elaborated:

What is important in the context of political debate is to remember ISIL is trying to assert a narrative, that they represent the religion of Islam in a war against the west and in a war against the United States. That is mythology. That is falsehood. That is not true. That is bankrupt ideology they are trying to wrap in the cloak of Islam.

This, of course, is a strawman argument: the real question isn’t whether ISIS “represents” Islam, but whether ISIS is a byproduct of Islam. And this question can easily be answered by looking not to ISIS but Islam. One can point to Islamic doctrines that unequivocally justify ISIS behavior; one can point to the whole of Islamic history, nearly 14 centuries of ISIS precedents.

Or, if these two options are deemed too abstract, one can simply point to the fact that everyday Muslims all around the world are behaving just like ISIS.

  17. Dangerous Plans Hatched by Obama and UN for Refugee Resettlement
President Obama’s going away gift to the American people: an open door to more refugees from terrorist-infested countries.

President Obama’s State Department finally admitted the obvious regarding ISIS terrorists embedding themselves in the refugee flow from the Middle East. “I wouldn’t debate the fact that there’s the potential for ISIS terrorists to try to insert themselves, and we see that in some of the refugee camps in Jordan and in Turkey, where they try to insert themselves into the population,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said on “Fox and Friends” on September 21st. Then Kirby tried to assure Americans that the “vetting process, while not perfect, is a very, very stringent.”

The Obama administration cannot even properly handle immigrants due for deportation who are already in the country. How can we possibly believe that it can reliably vet individuals from Syria and other terrorist infested countries where comprehensive accurate data regarding such individuals are sorely lacking?

For example, according to a report released on September 19th by the Homeland Security Department’s inspector general, hundreds of immigrants were improperly granted citizenship despite missing fingerprint records. They were from “special interest countries” – countries of particular concern for national security reasons.

Nevertheless, President Obama is making the admission of more refugees and migrants his going away gift to the American people. He has announced that the United States will welcome even more refugees from around the world, increasing the number of people the U.S. receives by 40 percent over the next two years, to 100,000 in 2017. He also wants to admit more Syrian refugees in particular, which Hillary Clinton has already announced she would do if elected president.

  18. CIA Director Voted for the Communist Party
    September 23, 2016
    Daniel Greenfield

Who won the Cold War again?

CIA Director John Brennan voted for the Communist Party candidate in the 1976 presidential election.

Brennan told a congressional panel last week that he “froze” while taking a CIA polygraph test four years later when the questioner asked him if he had ever worked with or for a group that was “dedicated to overthrowing the U.S.,” CNN reported.

“This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate,” Brennan said at a panel discussion regarding diversity in the intelligence community during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual conference.

    A few things.

If he had admitted to voting for the Nazi Party, he would have been hounded out of everywhere. And rightly so. What’s wrong is that voting for a mass murdering totalitarian ideology is just considered a whimsical act of a passionate young man. This is the pernicious double standard that has allowed the left to evade its moral responsibility for the crimes of the left.

  19. Hillary, Terror and Clemency
Lessons from the Clinton pardon of Puerto Rican terrorists.
    September 23, 2016
    Lloyd Billingsley

The multiple bombs prepared by Islamic terrorist Ahmad Khan Rahimi claimed no American lives but previous bombings in New York did indeed prove deadly. One bombing, in particular, sheds light on the career of Hillary Clinton, and how she might deal with terrorists if elected president.

On January 24, 1975, the Fuerzas Armadas de Liberación Nacional (FALN) bombed the Fraunces Tavern in Manhattan during the noon lunch hour. The blast killed four Americans, decapitating one victim, wounding dozens of others, and scattering body parts in the street. In 1999, during the presidency of Bill Clinton, First Lady Hillary Clinton urged her husband to grant clemency to the 16 Puerto Rican FALN terrorists who perpetrated that bombing and some 130 others.

As Christopher Andersen noted in American Evita: Hillary Clinton’s Path to Power (Morrow, 2004), mandatory reading for anyone covering the current campaign, those opposing the pardons included FBI director Louis Freeh, New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, New York Senator Charles Schumer and Carlos Barcelo-Romero, governor of Puerto Rico. He told the president “how can we responsibly set them free? What if they kill somebody else? What do we say? ‘Too bad?’”

  20. The War Against Stealth Jihad
    The pitfalls and challenges.
    September 23, 2016
    William Kilpatrick

On September 11, 2001, a struggle took place over the skies of Pennsylvania as passengers on United Flight 93 tried to regain control of the aircraft from the terrorists. It was the first instance of homeland resistance to jihad.

Fifteen years later, the jihad threat is bigger than ever. Now as then, it must be resisted, but for the most part it will be a different kind of jihad that we will face, and it will call for a different kind of resistance.

The passengers on Flight 93 are remembered as heroes. But if you try to resist the most common form of jihad, you probably won’t be hailed as a hero. It’s more likely that you’ll be smeared as a racist or an Islamophobe. You might even be hauled into court.

Most Americans think of the Islamic threat mainly in terms of armed jihad, but there is another form of jihad that we have to contend with, and armies are powerless against it. It’s called stealth jihad or cultural jihad, and it can be just as effective as the armed variety. Stealth jihad is a long-term campaign to spread Islamic law and culture by influencing key institutions such as churches, schools, courts, businesses, media, and local and national government.

Armed jihad instills a sense of urgency—“let’s roll,” let’s take action. But stealth jihad is intended to lull us into complacency—not “let’s roll,” but “let’s roll over and go back to sleep.” Immediately after 9/11, representatives of various stealth organizations such as CAIR and ISNA were at President Bush’s side, assuring him that Islam means “peace.” Bush, in turn, assured the rest of us that the terrorists were a tiny minority who had attempted to hijack a great religion. Amazingly, fifteen years later, that myth is still the dominant narrative.

  21. A Wife For an Hour In Iran
How the Islamic Republic is increasing its abuse of women — and using a religious cloak to do it.
    September 23, 2016
    Dr. Majid Rafizadeh

According to a recent Farsi-language news story, a man identified as Ahmad, a devout Muslim from the Islamic Republic, conducted sigheh, a “temporary marriage,” with a woman identified as Elnaz.

Sigheh is allowed under Iran’s Islamic and Sharia law. After three days Ahmad allegedly stole money from Elnaz’s family and left her. After the marriage contract, it was revealed that he also has another wife and children. Elnaz cannot take him to court, divorce him, or marry another person because the marriage was Islamic and legal. Iranian officials and media outlets are also blaming her for what happened to her.

Under Iran’s Islamic and Sharia law, there exist two kinds of halal (religiously permissible) marriages: permanent and temporary. The latter is called “sigheh” or “motaa” (enjoyment). Sigheh is a verbal contract that can last as long as desired; an hour, two hours, half a day, a week, a year, or more. Although sigheh is sold to women as a real marriage and that the man will truly treat the woman as his wife, the real story is different. Normally, in such a contract, the man gives something to the woman (money, place to sleep, etc.) in exchange for sex and complete control over her body and emotions.

  22. France: The Great Wall of Calais

Building work has begun on a wall in the northern French city of Calais, a major transport hub on the edge of the English Channel, to prevent migrants from stowing away on cars, trucks, ferries and trains bound for Britain.

Dubbed “The Great Wall of Calais,” the concrete barrier — one kilometer (half a mile) long and four meters (13 feet) high on both sides of the two-lane highway approaching the harbor — will pass within a few hundred meters of a sprawling shanty town known as “The Jungle.”

The squalid camp now houses more than 10,000 migrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East who are trying to reach Britain. The migrants at the camp are mostly from Sudan (45%), Afghanistan (30%), Pakistan (7%), Eritrea (6%) and Syria (1%), according to a recent census conducted by aid agencies.

Construction of the wall — which will cost British taxpayers £2 million (€2.3 million; $2.6 million) and is due to be completed by the end of 2016 — comes amid a surge in the number of migrants from the camp trying to reach Britain.

  24. Poll: More Than Half of Germans Now Fear Rise of Islam
But of course, the government is more concerned about “rightwing xenophobia.”

A new poll in Germany reveals that more than half of Germans fear the rise of Islam in their country. Surprise, surprise.

According to the UK’s Daily Mail, a new study carried out by a “leading” Christian organization found that 57 per cent of those questioned were concerned about the increasing prominence of Islam in their homeland.

Only a third of young people aged 18 to 24 said they were fearful, but nearly two-thirds of respondents over the age of 45 were concerned. That’s because young people are naive and brainwashed by political correctness and multiculturalism.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has repeatedly come under fire for her open-doors policy on migration. Her party suffered historic losses in elections for the Berlin state parliament earlier this week. Gee, maybe the people are trying to send you a message, Chancellor.

However, most of the Daily Mail’s article, predictably, was focused not on the threat posed by Islamic immigration but on what the government calls a surging “xenophobia” and “far-right violence” against migrants.

‘Right-wing extremism in all its forms poses a very serious threat for the social and economic development of the new states,” said Iris Gleicke, the federal government’s commissioner for eastern German affairs.

    And Islam does not?

  26. Why Won’t The Press Call the NY Bomber An Islamist Terrorist?
Certain sections of the media have been reticent to identify Ahmad Khan Rahami’s Muslim identity in their coverage of his attack.

New York bomber Ahmad Khan Rahami, who stands accused of setting a pressure cooker bomb in Chelsea which injured 29 people on Saturday, has been charged in a criminal complaint. Rahami was arrested after a shootout on Monday.

He is also suspected of planting bombs in Seaside Park and Elizabeth, New Jersey.

After the shootout, police recovered a journal containing Islamist rhetoric and praise for known terrorist groups and ideologies.

“I looked for guidance came Sheikh Anwar, Brother Adnani, Dawla. Said it clearly – Attack the kuffar (non-believer) in the back yard,” Rahami wrote, referencing American Al-Qaeda ideologue Anwar al-Awlaki who was killed in a drone strike in 2011 and the Islamic State’s spokesperson Abu Muhammad al Adnani who was killed in August. (Dawla is an honorific term for a ruler or senior statesman.)

Adnani issued frequent calls to Westerners to carry out terrorist attacks within their home countries.

Rahami also wrote, “The sounds of bombs will be heard in the streets.”

  27. Shell Filled With Mustard Gas Lands Near US Troops in Iraq
No troops were injured in the attack by the Islamic State. The US routinely bombs sites where ISIS manufactures the deadly chemical agent.

A shell containing mustard gas was fired at US and Iraqi troops at the Qayyara air base in Iraq by the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL). The shell, believed to be either a rocket or an artillery shell, was deemed “ineffective” by one official and “low purity” by another.

No troops were injured by the shell, which landed within about 100 yards of U.S. troops on the base which is located outside of Mosul. Troops that initially inspected the shell went through decontamination showers as a precautionary measure.

“I don’t know of a case like this where it was proximate to U.S. forces like this before,” said one military official who was quoted by CNN.

  28. U.S. intel officials probe ties between Trump adviser and Kremlin

U.S. intelligence officials are seeking to determine whether an American businessman identified by Donald Trump as one of his foreign policy advisers has opened up private communications with senior Russian officials — including talks about the possible lifting of economic sanctions if the Republican nominee becomes president, according to multiple sources who have been briefed on the issue.

The activities of Trump adviser Carter Page, who has extensive business interests in Russia, have been discussed with senior members of Congress during recent briefings about suspected efforts by Moscow to influence the presidential election, the sources said. After one of those briefings, Senate minority leader Harry Reid wrote FBI Director James Comey, citing reports of meetings between a Trump adviser (a reference to Page) and “high ranking sanctioned individuals” in Moscow over the summer as evidence of “significant and disturbing ties” between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin that needed to be investigated by the bureau.

Some of those briefed were “taken aback” when they learned about Page’s contacts in Moscow, viewing them as a possible back channel to the Russians that could undercut U.S. foreign policy, said a congressional source familiar with the briefings but who asked for anonymity due to the sensitivity of the subject. The source added that U.S. officials in the briefings indicated that intelligence reports about the adviser’s talks with senior Russian officials close to President Vladimir Putin were being “actively monitored and investigated.”

A senior U.S. law enforcement official did not dispute that characterization when asked for comment by Yahoo News. “It’s on our radar screen,” said the official about Page’s contacts with Russian officials. “It’s being looked at.”

Page is a former Merrill Lynch investment banker in Moscow who now runs a New York consulting firm, Global Energy Capital, located around the corner from Trump Tower, that specializes in oil and gas deals in Russia and other Central Asian countries. He declined repeated requests to comment for this story.

Trump first mentioned Page’s name when asked to identify his “foreign policy team” during an interview with the Washington Post editorial team last March. Describing him then only as a “PhD,” Trump named Page as among five advisers “that we are dealing with.” But his precise role in the campaign remains unclear; Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks last month called him an “informal foreign adviser” who “does not speak for Mr. Trump or the campaign.” Asked this week by Yahoo News, Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller said Page “has no role” and added: “We are not aware of any of his activities, past or present.” Miller did not respond when asked why Trump had previously described Page as one of his advisers.

The questions about Page come amid mounting concerns within the U.S. intelligence community about Russian cyberattacks on the Democratic National Committee and state election databases in Arizona and Illinois. In a rare public talk this week, former undersecretary of defense for intelligence Mike Vickers said that the Russian cyberattacks constituted meddling in the U.S. election and were “beyond the pale.” Also, this week, two senior Democrats — Sen. Dianne Feinstein, ranking minority member on the Senate Intelligence Committee, and Rep. Adam Schiff, ranking minority member on the House Intelligence Committee — released a joint statement that went further then what U.S. officials had publicly said about the matter.

“Based on briefings we have received, we have concluded that the Russian intelligence agencies are making a serious and concerted effort to influence the U.S. election,” they said. “At the least, this effort is intended to sow doubt about the security of our election and may well be intended to influence the outcomes of the election.” They added that “orders for the Russian intelligence agencies to conduct such actions could come only from very senior levels of the Russian government.”

Page came to the attention of officials at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow several years ago when he showed up in the Russian capital during several business trips and made provocative public comments critical of U.S. policy and sympathetic to Putin. “He was pretty much a brazen apologist for anything Moscow did,” said one U.S. official who served in Russia at the time.

He hasn’t been shy about expressing those views in the U.S. as well. Last March, shorty after he was named by Trump as one of his advisers, Page told Bloomberg News he had been an adviser to, and investor in, Gazprom, the Russian state-owned gas company. He then blamed Obama administration sanctions — imposed as a response to the Russian annexation of Crimea — for driving down the company’s stock. “So many people who I know and have worked with have been so adversely affected by the sanctions policy,” Page said in the interview. “There’s a lot of excitement in terms of the possibilities for creating a better situation.”

Page showed up again in Moscow in early July, just two weeks before the Republican National Convention formally nominated Trump for president, and once again criticized U.S. policy. Speaking at a commencement address for the New Economic School, an institution funded in part by major Russian oligarchs close to Putin, Page asserted that “Washington and other West capitals” had impeded progress in Russia “through their often hypocritical focus on ideas such as democratization, inequality, corruption and regime change.”

At the time, Page declined to say whether he was meeting with Russian officials during his trip, according to a Reuters report.

    • But U.S. officials have since received intelligence reports that during that same three-day trip, Page met with Igor Sechin, a longtime Putin associate and former Russian deputy prime minister who is now the executive chairman of Rosneft, Russian’s leading oil company, a well-placed Western intelligence source tells Yahoo News. That meeting, if confirmed, is viewed as especially problematic by U.S. officials because the Treasury Department in August 2014 named Sechin to a list of Russian officials and businessmen sanctioned over Russia’s “illegitimate and unlawful actions in the Ukraine.” (The Treasury announcement described Sechin as “utterly loyal to Vladimir Putin — a key component to his current standing.” At their alleged meeting, Sechin raised the issue of the lifting of sanctions with Page, the Western intelligence source said.

U.S. intelligence agencies have also received reports that Page met with another top Putin aide while in Moscow — Igor Diveykin. A former Russian security official, Diveykin now serves as deputy chief for internal policy and is believed by U.S. officials to have responsibility for intelligence collected by Russian agencies about the U.S. election, the Western intelligence source said.

nbcnews – Obama Vetoes Bill to Let 9/11 Families Sue Saudi Arabia

by Halimah Abdullah and Aliyah Frumin

President Barack Obama on Friday vetoed controversial legislation aimed at helping the families of the victims of the September 11th attacks sue Saudi Arabia — a move that sets up an emotionally-charged, election year showdown between an outgoing commander-in-chief and members of his party who supported the bill.

The measure, which was unanimously passed by both the House and Senate, enables the families of victims of the September 11th attacks to sue Saudi Arabia if that country is found legally liable for helping support the deadliest terrorist acts on U.S. soil. Fifteen of the 19 terrorists were Saudi and that nation’s leaders have previously opposed the legislation and denied involvement.

The White House is strongly opposed to the legislation out of concerns it will open the floodgates and leave the U.S. vulnerable to similar suits. A bipartisan group of lawmakers backed the 9/11 families bill.

The president, in a statement on explaining the veto on Friday, said he has “deep sympathy for the families of the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 (9/11), who have suffered grievously. I also have a deep appreciation of these families’ desire to pursue justice and am strongly committed to assisting them in their efforts.” However, the measure would” invite consequential decisions to be made based upon incomplete information and risk having different courts reaching different conclusions about the culpability of individual foreign governments and their role in terrorist activities directed against the United States — which is neither an effective nor a coordinated way for us to respond to indications that a foreign government might have been behind a terrorist attack,” the president continued. 30. Chelsea Bomber’s Sister Also a Jihadi Sympathizer

CBS News is reporting that Chelsea bomber Ahmad Rahami’s sister may hold pro-jihadi views.

Site Intelligence Group published Facebook posts allegedly shared by Rahami’s sister Aziza. Some quote radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

In other posts, she appears to praise terrorists, and use imagery popular with the Muslim Brotherhood.

“It seems like the family may have adopted some of the same viewpoints as he did, but again, it’s too early to say if they were directly involved with the attack itself,” said Tara Maller, a senior policy advisor at the Counter Extremism Project.

Awlaki was an advisor to several 9/11 hijackers and also offered advice to Ft. Hood terrorist Nidal Hasan. “If you were to look at people who had committed acts of terrorism or had been arrested and you took a poll, you’d find that the majority of them had some kind of exposure to Awlaki,” said one U.S. counter-terrorism official who has followed his impact closely.

“A Montenegrin went on trial in southern Germany Friday accused of helping to prepare a terror attack after he was found driving to Paris last November with Kalashnikovs and explosives hidden in his car.

The 51-year-old was arrested during a routine check on a Bavaria motorway on November 5th, just over a week before 130 people were killed in coordinated suicide bomb and gun attacks in the French capital.

Police discovered a cache of weapons in his car, including eight Kalashnikovs, handguns, two hand grenades and 200 grams of TNT explosives.

The accused, named as Vucelic V., told a Munich courtroom at the start of his trial that he was aware the weapons were in the car but he denied any knowledge of an attack being planned.

The destination entered in the VW Golf’s sat-nav system showed an address in Paris, according to the indictment. The same address was found on a handwritten note in the car, along with a phone number for a contact person in France.

While no direct link has been established between the man and the Paris attackers, prosecutors say he was fully aware the weapons were to be used for a planned terror attack…”

  32. Embassy: No-go zones ‘do not exist in Sweden’ (thelocal, Sep 23, 2016)
    https://www.thelocal.se/20160923/embassy-no-go-zones-do-not-exist-in-sweden-hungary

“Sweden’s embassy in Budapest has sharply rebuked Hungary after an official leaflet claimed that Stockholm and other European cities had become “no-go areas”.

Flyers warning of “hundreds of no-go areas in European cities”, which highlighted Stockholm along with London, Brussels, Marseille, Berlin and the Copenhagen-Malmö area, were this month sent to millions of households in Hungary ahead of its referendum next month on EU refugee quotas, reports the Financial Times.

The leaflets claimed that migrants have overrun hundreds of “no-go” areas in Europe which “the authorities cannot keep under control” and where “the norms of the host society (…) barely prevail”.

Counsellor Anna Boda, the Deputy Head of Mission at the Swedish Embassy in Hungary, told The Local via email on Friday that representatives from Sweden, as well as Germany and the UK, have been in contact with Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijarto to protest against “the false information”.

“It is important to us that accurate information about Sweden is given to the citizens of Hungary. The embassy has therefore had reason to object sharply to a map of Europe with red markings in a handful of member states, including Sweden, in which the Hungarian government claims that so-called ‘no-go zones’ exist, where police and the state have no control over citizens’ safety,” she said.

Szijarto defended the claims earlier this week, telling the BBC’s Newsnight programme that the figures were “based on official reports from police and other security agencies”.

A number of Swedish cities, including Gothenburg and Malmö, have hit the headlines recently over spates of car burnings and unrest. In February police listed 15 districts in Sweden as “especially vulnerable areas” where crime and poverty rates are high. However, they are not formally referred to as ‘no-go zones’.

“It is important to be clear: such zones, however they are labelled or defined, do not exist in Sweden. It is of course very unfortunate when, as in this case, incorrect information is spread to Hungarian citizens who thereby risk getting a biased picture of our Europe and individual member states,” said Boda…”

  34. Wife of terrorist Rahami allowed to return to U.S.

NEW YORK (UPI) — Asia Bibi Rahami, the wife of New York City-area bombing suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami, has voluntarily returned to the United States from the United Arab Emirates, authorities said.

Rahami’s wife is not believed to be a suspect, CBS News reported. Authorities are expected to talk with Asia Bibi Rahami in an attempt to better understand Rahami’s alleged path to radicalization and to see if anyone knew about the bombing plan.
