The FBI has taken heat for failing to immediately classify the San Bernardino shootings as terrorism, but a new report shows that FBI reluctance could have been due to external pressure from the White House.
A source told Jack Murphy of SOFREP that the FBI instantly believed the shooting, which left 14 dead, to be a clear act of terrorism. The White House, however, didn’t feel the same way and quickly moved in to squash the terror classification.
This source added that as soon as the shooting took place, Obama convened a meeting with the National Security Council and the heads of other federal enforcement agencies to discuss a public relations strategy.

The Swiss city of Geneva raised its alert level on Thursday and said it was looking for suspects who, according to national officials, had possible links to terrorism.
A security guard at the United Nations’ European headquarters told Reuters that Swiss authorities were searching for four men believed to be in or near the city.
Another guard said the U.N. compound was on maximum alert, and Geneva prosecutors said they were investigating the preparation of criminal acts.
Separately, the Swiss attorney-general said it opened an a criminal inquiry on the basis of a “terrorist threat in Geneva” against unknown persons suspected of belonging to a criminal organisation and of violating the ban on al-Qaeda or Islamic State operating in the country.
(The best defense of course is to bring another 100,000 un-veted muslims into Canada and just you know, let them go with a government cheque)
Ottawa, Canada: Canada is “vigilant” and “alert” to terrorist threats after warnings of possible plots against its major cities linked to the Islamic State extremist group, the public safety minister said Thursday.
But Ralph Goodale told reporters outside parliament: “To this moment there is nothing new or different that would affect the security situation in Canada. There is no change in the status of the alerts.
“There is no new information reported to me that would change the circumstances. If there is something new we would obviously let Canadians know immediately and we will take the appropriate steps.
It came after authorities in Geneva launched a manhunt for several suspected jihadists believed to have links to the Islamic State group and who threatened attacks there and in North America.
The cities of Geneva, Chicago and Toronto were listed as possible targets in a police document seen by Swiss journalists.
As the Kremlin announced its first ever strikes against the fanatical Islamist network – also known by its Arabic acronym Daesh – from a submarine, the Russian president warned that his military’s cruise missiles could be fitted with atomic weapons.
During a televised meeting with defence minister Sergey Shoigu, Putin said: “We must analyse everything happening on the battlefield, how the weapons operate.

Czech president claims Turkey sometimes acts like Islamic State’s ally
Kada?, North Bohemia, Dec 9 (?TK) — Turkey should not be a part of the European Union, Czech President Miloš Zeman said at the close of his three-day visit to north Bohemia today, and added that despite its membership of NATO, Turkey sometimes behaves as if it were Islamic State’s ally.
Zeman criticized the EU’s plan to pay €3 billion to Turkey in exchange for its halting two million refugees on its territory and preventing their influx to Europe.
“The Roman Empire, before it collapsed, too, paid tribute money to barbarians for them not to pilfer its territory. Turkey, on its part, is able to accept these refugees not only because they make up a mere fraction of its overall population but also because they share the same religion [with Turks],” Zeman said.
With the U.S. and other countries on high alert for ISIS attacks, American authorities are warning the terror group’s followers may have infiltrated American borders with authentic-looking passports ISIS has printed itself with its own machines, according to an intelligence report obtained by ABC News.
The 17-page Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Intelligence Report, issued to law enforcement last week, says ISIS likely has been able to print legitimate-looking Syrian passports since taking over the city of Deir ez-Zour last summer, home to a passport office with “boxes of blank passports” and a passport printing machine. Another passport office was located in Raqqa, Syria, which has long been ISIS’s de facto capital.
(How long till we find out Obama gave them the machines?)

One of the men who brutally killed Fusilier Lee Rigby is suing the prison service.
Michael Adebolajo, who was convicted last year alongside Michael Adebowale of murdering the 22-year-old soldier in May 2013, is demanding compensation after his teeth were knocked out during an incident in the high security Belmarsh prison.
While he was being held at Belmarsh prison after the killing, Adebolajo had his two front teeth knocked.
He claims he had been assaulted by five prison officers.

Here is a funky little article that shows the tolerance and multilateralism of modern leftism. Its an explanation of how anyone can run a couple of commands in FB and unfriend anyone who likes Donald Trump. Of course you could use the same technique to unfriend anyone on your list who say, likes Obama or whatnot. But I think most people today called ‘right wing’ or ‘conservative’ are often Jeffersonian classical liberals and wouldn’t really do that. Most center to center right people I know try and preserve relationships with people of the other political stripes. This used to be the norm. But its becoming a very one sided thing as the people who seem to claim the monopoly on tolerance, equality, fairness, openness and so on find more and more things to ban and more and more ‘zero tolerance policies’, ways of un-freinding family and friends because they like a candidate or now, openly calling for the assassination of candidates they don’t like.
