France’s far-right National Front topped the country’s regional election vote on Sunday in a breakthrough that shakes up the country’s political landscape.
The anti-immigration party received at least 29.4 per cent of the votes as the country continues its state of emergency following the Paris terror attacks.
It won six out of 13 regions in the election’s first round, which 44 million people were eligible to vote for.
Former president Nicolas Sarkozy’s conservative Les Republicains party and their allies came second with around 27 per cent of the vote while President Francois Hollande’s ruling Socialists came third.
National Front leader Marine Le Pen welcomed the ‘magnificent result’, which will leave her in the ideal position for a presidential bid in 2017.
She added that the result proved the party was ‘without contest the first party of France’.
Ms Le Pen, who led the first round in southeast France with 42 per cent, had argued before the vote that refugee camps like the so-called ‘Jungle’ in Calais are full of young men who are potential terrorists.
Refugees at what is set to become Germany’s largest migrant shelter have accused Arabic-speaking security guards of bullying and provoking racist tensions.
Some 1,200 refugees are being housed at the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, which has been turned into emergency temporary housing for up to 2,300 people.
But violence erupted as tensions flared while lunch was being served last week, sparking a mass brawl involving hundreds of people.
Refugees have alleged the fight, which saw more than 100 police officers brought in to restore order, was in fact caused by security guards.
3. Venezuela opposition wins 59% in election, ejects “21st Century Socialists”
Venezuela’s opposition won a majority of 99 out of 167 seats in the state legislature, electoral authorities said Monday, the first such shift in power in congress in 16 years.

(As an aside, this is a superb example of how the left and Islam are nearly identical and are from the point of view of the scale of totalitarian Vs. free societies. Both believe in jail or worse for thought crimes. The climate fascists would indeed be happy to se corporal or even fatal punishments for those who commit acts of blasphemy against the climate narrative. Whether man caused global warming is true or not, or whether its effects on Earth overall are good or not, this is not the way free societies function. But this similarity may be why the left, which pretends to be for human rights, is in fact so eager to support islam in part. They are both systems of totalitarian thought crimes)
The seven most insidious fossil fuel lobbyists in Paris to weaken attempts to agree a global climate deal have been named and shamed as ‘climate criminals’ in a dossier published by the global citizens movement Avaaz.
The group, which spearheaded last weekend’s climate marches which saw 785,000 people take to the streets globally, posted over a thousand ‘Wanted’ posters outside 5-star hotels in the French capital on Monday morning. The poster highlighting the seven most notorious dirty energy lobbyists unearthed from the list of more than 50,000 delegates at summit.
On Monday morning, Avaaz ‘Climate Cops’ will hand out flyers outside key Metro stations leading to the Le Bourget with photos of the lobbyists, who are expected to ramp up their efforts to derail a deal when ministers arrive this week to negotiate the deal.
Emma Ruby-Sachs, Acting Executive-Director of Avaaz says: “These lobbyists have come to Paris to sabotage a global deal for ambitious climate action, despite over 3.6 million citizens around the world calling for 100% clean energy. Ministers must listen to their people, not polluters, and refuse meetings with climate criminals who want to derail a deal the whole world wants.”
(Last thought: CO2 is not pollution. It is an element)
5. NY Daily News: San Bernardino victim deserved to die for being conservative
But the Daily News wasn’t quite done. On Saturday, the paper went all in, publishing a column by veteran reporter Linda Stasi that argued amazingly that one of the San Bernardino shooting victims was just as bad as the killers by virtue of his being outspoken in his criticism of Islamic extremism on Facebook.
Nicholas Thalasinos was one of 14 people murdered Wednesday by Farook and Malik at Inland Regional Center while attending a holiday party. According to Stasi, arguments between co-workers Thalasinos and Farook over religion mean that Thalasinos shares equal blame for Wednesday’s deaths, even though he murdered nobody.
6. Two informative graphs on what countries send how many to fight for the Islamic State (as well as just support by social media etc.)
7. Greece: Somali, Iranian refugees protest at Idomeni demanding entry into Macedonia
(Sure must be more fun than filling out forms and waiting for a call)
Syria’s government said the U.S.-led military coalition have carried out a deadly air strike on a Syrian army camp, but officials from the U.S-led alliance said the report was false.
Syria said four coalition jets killed three soldiers and wounded 13 in the eastern Deir al-Zor province on Sunday evening, calling it an act of aggression, the first time it has made such an accusation.
Any such strike by U.S.-led coalition planes, which have been focusing their fire on Islamic State militants, would further complicate an increasingly regional conflict now nearly five years old.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group reported earlier that jets likely to be from the coalition hit part of the Saeqa military camp near the town of Ayyash in Deir al-Zor province, killing four Syrian army personnel.

These two had better security checks than the hundreds of thousands of muslims coming to Canada and the USA

12. Turkey defends ground troops in Iraq as war escalates
Turkey said on Monday it would not withdraw hundreds of soldiers who arrived last week at a base in northern Iraq, despite being ordered by Baghdad to pull them out within 48 hours.
The sudden arrival of such a large and heavily armed Turkish contingent in a camp near the frontline in northern Iraq has added yet another controversial deployment to a war against Islamic State fighters that has drawn in most of the world’s major powers.
Ankara says the troops are there as part of an international mission to train and equip Iraqi forces to fight against Islamic State. The Iraqi government says it never invited such a force, and will take its case to the United Nations if they are not pulled out.
Washington, which is leading an international coalition against Islamic State that includes Turkey, Arab states and European powers like Britain and France, has told Ankara and Baghdad to resolve the standoff, and says it does not support deployments in Iraq without Baghdad’s consent.
The Turkish troops’ presence is an embarrassment for Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Abadi, under strong pressure from powerful Iran-backed Shi’ite political groups to kick them out.
5. Newspapers require less and less reporters. Associated press, the Internet and that noe all Western governments employ their own in-house news agencies. All proprietors require are headline writers and entertainers who poke their readers incessantly to come back for more.
So, making the opinions of the Messianic Jew equal to that of any Fundamental Muslim’s is all for keeping a readership enthralled. The rhyme and reason are simply for another large paycheck in return for having stoked up another ‘exclusive’ ‘controversy’. Fakes from politicians to columnists come in all guises to make a killing off Obama’s Generation. These Preferential-Rights with the biggest potty-mouths.
STORY re U.S. attacking Syrian soldier camp – occurred a few hours before Obama’s speech. You could add that ISIS swarmed in and took over army camp after U.S. attack on it.
One kind of gets the feeling ISIS was waiting on the sideline for U.S. signal to enter camp.
Obama is skating on thin ice with his support of ISIS.
-WoW-
The SAN BERNADINO story:
They had a Go-Pro camera during attack according to some survivors. Attack was filmed (Christmas tree, Christmas lights, slaughter of Christians…).
Couple disappeared for some three hours after attack. Where did they go? No camera when couple was shot. Where is the camera? Invoice for the camera found in their home but no camera.
THEORY: Camera was handed over to sympathizers for download to Islamic State. VIDEO will show up in a week or two.
GOAL: terrorize Infidel during its most important religious celebration: Christmas mass. Churches could be the target since no Muslims in churches. If no attack on churches, release of video would be sufficient to strike fear on churchgoers.
Let’s wait and see if video is released.
Good observation Sunshine.
And now, we find out neighbor who bought the big weapons – Enrique Martinez – converted to Islam a few years ago.
No wonder he checking into a mental hospital a few hours after slaughter. I think police has now arrested him…
Even the damn Imam of the mosque knows him but never spoke about it knowing police were looking for him.
ISLAM does something to your brain, not good.
Link to that please?
A quick google on the subject gave me 6 Enrique Martinez arrests, all on the east coast.
http://abcnews.go.com/US/san-bernardino-attack-fbi-questions-alleged-assault-style/story?id=35626957
It’s not the Imam who gave the info. Look at the link, someone from the mosque.
I can’t find the link that mentioned ‘arrest’.
In any case, police said he is not a suspect after questioning him. Strange that, now, police refuse to disclose any info re the guy’s present status.
Muslim convert Enrique Martinez checked himself into a mental hospital just after the attack.
They may be telling him run to try and find other cells of terrorists, or the doctors think he is too mentally ill to stand trial. Those are the most likely scenarios.
He’s not mentally ill. He checked himself in a mental health facility only hours after the shooting. Probably before disclosure of the name of his best friend: Syed Farook. Why would he do that?
If he was beyond reproach, he would have stayed home and contacted the police once Farook’s name was published.
The whole family is involved in this story.
I would’ve lawyer-d up.
