The women of an all-female Yazidi batallion is risking death – or worse – to fight back against the ISIS thugs who abducted, raped or murdered thousands of their people.
They were brought together by a renowned Yazidi s nger Xate Shingali, who formed the ‘Sun Girls’ batallion to take on Islamic State on the battlefield in Iraq.
If her troops are ever caught by the enemy, they will either be killed or, more likely, be held by the extremists as their personal sex slaves.
Even the youngest, just 17, brushes off that terrifying prospect, adding: ‘Even if they kill me, I will say I am a Yazidi.’
ISIS kidnapped thousands of Yazidi women and very young girls when it stormed their villages in Sinjar province, northern Iraq, in August 2014.

4. Three stabbed by man in Norrköping city centre
The attacker, who witnesses claimed was “obviously on drugs” according to the newspaper’s website, stabbed his first victim, a man, in the back outside the city library before running off to stab a woman and a female beggar moments later.
A member of the public then overpowered the attacker and held him until police arrived and arrested him.
“When I arrived on the scene, people were sitting down and crying. There was blood on the ground. Then I saw a woman who was bleeding quite heavily. The victims were about 50 metres apart,” a witness told Expressen newspaper.
(Interesting that witnesses are allowed to make observations about the suspect that lead away from being an immigrant or a muslim but not actually describe their appearance in any way)
The 24-year-old man arrested for the three stabbings, was previously known to the police but only for petty shoplifting or theft. He is likely to be charged with three counts of attempted murder.
(So they have the guy in custody and still have not described or named him. Have they released the name of the Ikea stabber yet?)

The same town in Sweden today has had a detonation of some kind of explosive and a knife stabbing attack of three people by a captured but not described and not named assailant. Something is going on. There is a lot more taking place right now. It will all be posted over the course of the day as well as some very important news out of Quebec which may define the shape of real human rights there, and everywhere if it becomes a model for the rest of the world. We are working on a comprehensive post about that now as well as a few other major stories.
You weren’t joking about serious events, it looks like the Islamic conquest in Sweden is raising the violence to a new level. It will be interesting to see how fast this spreads to other European nations.
