And one of the few western anthologies of scholarly articles on islam from the 1930s was re-published in the 1970s. The only addition was the inclusion of an article by a French Marxist jewish anti-israeli scholar as the first article: in that article he warned that the christian clergy and the Leftist academics were busy lying about islam, and denying its violent origins and its history of violence.

Joe, Regarding your comment at 4Freedoms, if Cultural Marxism/The Frankfurt School wasn’t a major source of the Left’s propaganda since the 60s, what would you say was? Honest question, I’m curious whether you can suggest other places to look. A lot of the attack in the universities seems to have been via Critical Theory, which sources itself to Frankfurt School Marxists like Adorno, Horkheimer, Marcuse, Fromm and others.

“A man has been charged with the murder of a man shot dead while he sat in a car at traffic lights in Sheffield city centre.
Jordan Thomas, 22, suffered fatal injuries when he was shot last Sunday.
Asif Yousaf, 32, of Violet Bank Road, Sheffield, has been charged with his murder and with the attempted murder of another man who was also in the car.
Mr Yousaf is due before magistrates in the city on Monday. Another arrested man, aged 25, has been freed on bail.
The two men were both arrested on Christmas Day.
Mr Thomas died in hospital after the shooting in Derek Dooley Way at about 22:15 GMT last Sunday.
The injured man, who was driving the Ford Mondeo in which Mr Thomas was a passenger, was seriously injured but has since been released from hospital.”

I voted George W Bush, for what’s worth. With the other suspect being Richard Nixon, since this quote is obviously a right winger thing (peace, enormous contributions etc).
Every President since the Saudis got rich and began buying them.
It is important to note that Nixon said this as his conclusion on why the western world must help Muslims in their renaissance of the Islamic world.
This is why he believed in integration of the Islamic world with the west because with our help they can change.
Remember it was Nixon that got the ball rolling on this world integration thing with the west.
The thing is, in his last book he writes a couple of paragraphs with a stunningly accurate explanation of what Islam actually is with pretty close to 100% predictive accuracy of what came after, only to deny it was the case and went on to say that stuff.
I should have included that but it wouldn’t have been as interesting. But do read it in Geert’s book. If I can find it again I may post it as a comment as its astonishingly accurate and yet he chose to dismiss it.
I believe it is important. Even I know Islam very well and WANT to believe there is a way to change things without war.
