      UN Spokesman: Using UN equipment by Jabhat al-Nusra to carry out terrorist acts unacceptable

      New York, SANA – Spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Stephane Dujarric expressed the UN’s concerns over the use of UN equipment by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization to carry out terrorist acts, describing it as “clearly unacceptable.”

      Answering a question about vehicles captured by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and the use of one of them to carry out a terrorist operation inside the Syrian territories, the Lebanese al-Akhbar newspaper quoted Dujarric as saying that any misuse of UN equipment is clearly unacceptable whether to carry out terrorist acts or for any other purposes.

      He added that the UN demands that Jabhat al-Nusra return the stolen vehicles and weapons, adding that this matter causes concern for the organization which is still working to resolve it.

        • I know you are trying to be optimistic but I think the word should be will, Terrible numbers of people will perish. Obama has cut the US military to the point where the Europeans are being forced to start building up theirs, granted their efforts seem to be too little too late but better late then never.

  8. The fact is that if Mohammad were to come back today, he would point to ISIS as the modern world’s truest followers of his religion. Justin Trudeau and Ben Affleck might not know that, but the Muslims of the world sure as hell do. In a conflict between ISIS and the Egyptian Army, only ISIS can point to the Quran and say that they are simply following their beloved religion, while the Egyptian Army is clearly in violation of a half-a-dozen of Allah’s proclamations. The Egyptians could quite definitely lose, especially if Obama bin Husseini lion of the desert keeps throwing the game, like he’s doing now…

    At least we all know for sure that the Egyptian People do not want to be ruled by a theocratic dictatorship. Let’s hope they kick ISIS’s ass…

    Personally, I’d like to see some of those 19th century, ten-man-gallows set up, with a dawn-to-dusk procession of evil monkeys being euthanized ten-at-a-time. Yes!!!

    • Me too. A branch of my family lived there almost forever. The roots are deep; some ties still bind.

      Unfortunately Islam warps the mind. Most Egyptians have peasant backgrounds, and even after several generations in the city they’re narrowly conservative. Superstitious beyond sanity. The alley or side-street tends to replicate the village. Education’s improved, but not enough.

      They folded to each successive foreign invasion over millennia, yet remain uniquely Egyptian and proud of it. Most were serfs until Nasser took over. They’re easily led by their perceived “betters” – the “best” in a village invariably was the imam.

      • Take a good hard look at Europe and the peasant comment, a lot of the European attitude making them so reverent to the government can be traced back to the days of monarchy.
