I am thinking that Dec. 6 should become the Counter-jihad’s first evening of commemoration based on the take back of the ancient Hindu temple in 1992 by thousands of Hindu volunteers. We don’t have much to celebrate these days but maybe we could start a tradition of having a drink of anything alcoholic with anything containing pork and maybe avoid beef for the evening as deference to our Hindu brothers in victimhood from Islamic atrocities. Maybe from 6:00 PM to midnight or something. I plan to start now.

7. Major Gunbattle Near Kashmir Border Kills 17
Militants in the disputed territory of Kashmir attacked an Indian army camp Friday, triggering a fierce gunbattle that left 11 Indian soldiers and six suspected assailants dead, officials said.
At least three other deadly attacks were launched elsewhere Friday in the region, where local elections were being held through December.
At the Indian army camp in the Uri region, rebels hurled grenades and fired automatic rifles as they tried to enter the camp’s artillery unit, an army officer told The Associated Press. Some of the rebels, firing wildly, succeeded in getting into the camp, officials said.
The sprawling camp, also the regional headquarters of the army’s artillery regiment, is near the heavily militarized line of control that divides the Himalayan region into an Indian-administered portion and a Pakistan-controlled side.

Woman who admitted to stabbing American teacher to death inside Abu Dhabi mall will face the death penalty as victim’s family speaks of their ‘devastation and horror’

Police believe that the attacker, who lured Mrs Ryan into a conversation by pretending to be a vulnerable elderly woman, targeted the teacher because of her nationality.
This as shocking new details of Mrs Ryan’s final moments have emerged, revealing how she had been lured in to a toilet cubicle after the attacker asked her for assistance.
The Yemeni allegedly turned on Mrs Ryan once inside the cubicle, stabbing her repeatedly with a butcher’s knife.
After her attacker fled, the wounded teacher stumbled to the mall’s main walkway – only yards from a Waitrose supermarket – but collapsed in a pool of blood.

US sends 6 prisoners from Guantanamo to Uruguay
Six prisoners held for 12 years at Guantanamo Bay have been sent to Uruguay to be resettled as refugees, the U.S. government announced Sunday — a deal that had been delayed for months by security concerns at the Pentagon and political considerations in the South American country.
The six men — four Syrians, a Tunisian and a Palestinian — are the first prisoners transferred to South America from the U.S. base in Cuba, part of a flurry of recent releases amid a renewed push by President Barack Obama to close the prison.
All were detained as suspected militants with ties to al-Qaeda in 2002 but were never charged. They had been cleared for release since 2009 but could not be sent home and the U.S. struggled to find countries willing to take them.
Uruguayan President Jose Mujica agreed to accept the men as a humanitarian gesture and said they would be given help getting established in a country with a tiny Muslim population of perhaps 300 people.
“We are very grateful to Uruguay for this important humanitarian action, and to President Mujica for his strong leadership in providing a home for individuals who cannot return to their own countries,” U.S. State Department envoy Clifford Sloan said.

Malaysia police keep tab on armed forces after detecting ISIS sympathisers: Report
KUALA LUMPUR – Police are keeping a tab on the Malaysian armed forces as several personnel have been detected to be sympathisers of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militant group waging war in the Middle East.
A senior intelligence official told The Malaysian Insider that two members of the security forces were arrested in Kuala Lumpur late last month on suspicion of channelling funds to Malaysians joining ISIS militants in Syria.
“The two who were arrested were influenced into supporting ISIS bcause of social media and befriending like-minded individuals on the Internet,” the source told the news website.
“Besides the two suspects, who are rank and file personnel, police are also monitoring other security forces personnel who may be ISIS sympathisers,” the source said.
In June, police arrested three alleged militants in Sandakan, Sabah, one of whom was a Royal Malaysian Navy personnel. He was released in July and had returned to full service.
The intelligence official told the Malaysian Insider that like many Malaysians, who had joined or support ISIS, some security forces personnel felt their lives were heading nowhere.
“If left unchecked, sympathy for militant activities may eventually lead to something bigger and unwanted. Hence police are keeping a close eye on such activities.”
Malaysia will table an anti-terrorism Bill early next year to counter a growing Islamic militancy that has seen at least 39 Malaysians join the fighting in Syria and Iraq. Five Malaysians have been reported killed.
The legislation will include preventive measures and allow passports to be revoked to prevent Malaysia from becoming a terror hub, Home Minister Zahid Hamidi said on Nov 26.
A White Paper on terrorism recently tabled by Prime Minister Najib Razak said the government must “act immediately to contain” the influence of the ISIS. The 19-page policy document said efforts required to tackle the threat have become more challenging and current laws need to be strengthened.
The intelligence official also told Malaysian Insider that there were a number of Malaysians who had become disillusioned in the Middle East as it had not lived up to their expectations.
“Many Malaysians who went to the Middle East had been influenced by radicals and dreamed of fighting alongside their fellow brothers in the frontline.
“However, reality turned out to be completely different as these Malaysians were assigned menial tasks such as preparing food or vehicle maintenance.”
There were Malaysians in the Middle East who wanted to return home but were prevented from leaving by ISIS, according to the report, adding that the Malaysians were influenced by former Kedah PAS Youth information chief Lotfi Ariffinm who died almost three months ago.
After his death, the Malaysians were left without direction as the ISIS is divided into different factions, according to the Malaysian Insider, but they were also unable to return home.

SYRIA – ‘I will attack women,’ al-Qaeda militant warns Lebanon after wife detained
A leading member of Syria’s al-Qaeda branch, Abu Ali al-Shishani, has pledged to attack Lebanese women and children and end talks to free more than two dozen members of the Lebanese security forces, after his wife was detained by authorities.
The threat, delivered in a video distributed on jihadist websites, was published on Friday hours before the group said it killed one of the captive Lebanese soldiers it holds.
Lebanese authorities earlier this week said they had detained a wife of Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. The wife of Shishani, a fighter in the Nusra Front, al-Qaeda’s official Syrian wing, has also been arrested.
The women were apparently viewed by some Lebanese security elements as a possible bargaining chip with the militants to gain the release of the captive soldiers.
Sitting in front of a black flag with two militants by his side, Shishani said Shi’ite Muslim women and children and families of Lebanese soldiers were now legitimate targets.
“My wife, Ola Mithqal al-Oqaily … was taken two days ago from Tripoli, the city that is called the city of Islam and Muslims,” Shishani said.
“If my wife is not released soon, do not dare to dream about the release of the soldiers without negotiations.
“All your wives, children and men are legitimate targets now,” he said, using the phrase “slaves of (late Iranian leader Ayatollah Ruhollah) Khomeini” to refer to Shiites.
Many Sunni Syrian rebels and hardline Lebanese Sunni Islamists accuse Lebanon’s army of working with the Lebanese Shi’ite movement Hezbollah which has sent fighters to aid Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a member of the Shi’ite-derived Alawite minority.

USA – Muslim Navy engineer tried to leak plans for new aircraft carrier to Egypt, U.S. says
A Naval engineer was charged Friday with trying to leak drawings of the military’s new aircraft carrier to the Egyptian government, not knowing that he was dealing with an undercover FBI agent.
Federal authorities alleged in court filings that Mostafa Ahmed Awwad</b<, 35, of Yorktown, Va., gave computer drawings of the USS Gerald R. Ford to an agent posing as an Egyptian intelligence officer and talked about where to shoot the vessel to sink it. He was charged with attempted exportation of defense articles and technical data and was ordered held after an initial appearance Friday in federal district court in Norfolk.

SAUDI ARABIA – 26 foreigners among 135 arrested for ‘terrorism’ in Saudi
Forty of the suspects had gone to “zones of conflict, joined extremist groups and trained in the handling of weapons… before returning to the kingdom to destabilise the country,” Turki said.
Numerous others were implicated in the “financing, recruitment, propaganda and manufacture of explosives… in aid of extremist groups”.
[…]Turki said that, as well as 16 Syrians, the detained foreign suspects included three from Yemen, an Egyptian, a Lebanese, an Afghan, an Ethiopian, a Bahraini, an Iraqi and a stateless person.
The arrests come as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Bahrain take part in US-led air strikes against the IS extremist group in Syria.
As the “epicentre of Islam,” Saudi Arabia is the primary target of IS and its efforts to restore an Islamic caliphate, two Saudi analysts, Nawaf Obaid and Saud al-Sarhan, wrote in a September commentary published by The New York Times.
– Westerners attacked –
Last week an IS-linked media group released a video claiming to show the shooting in Riyadh of a Danish national by its “supporters”, the US-based SITE Intelligence Group said. Denmark has confirmed that one of its citizens was shot and wounded in the Saudi capital on November 22.
The video carries an audio recording, allegedly of IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, saying that Saudi rulers will see “no more security or rest”.
A week after the Dane was shot, someone stabbed and wounded a Canadian while he shopped at a mall in Dhahran on Saudi Arabia’s Gulf coast.
Both Canada and Denmark are among the Western states taking part in an aerial bombing campaign against IS in Iraq.
A Saudi government adviser, who declined to be named, told AFP the latest arrests demonstrate the interior ministry is “in control” of the threat posed by IS inside the kingdom.
In November, Saudi Arabia blamed IS-linked suspects for the killing of seven Shiites, including children, in Eastern Province. Security forces in the Sunni-dominated kingdom arrested 73 Saudis and four foreigners in connection with that attack, the interior ministry announced earlier.
“Saudi certainly has a problem with ISIS (IS), and it seems there is now a trend to carry out attacks in the Gulf, including in Saudi,” said Toby Matthiesen, a research fellow at the University of Cambridge.
The interior ministry called on citizens to remain vigilant.
