1. Everyone with TV has probably already seen this but I thought it post-worthy. Obama speaking on the verdict of the Grand Jury, shown in split screen with events on the ground in Ferguson. The thing is, Obama doesn’t see the split screen, so he doesn’t know what people are seeing as he talks about it. Quite an interesting little clip I think by that virtue.
2. This appears to be an Islamic State video showing the destruction after an allied bombing run. Remember, this is enemy propaganda meant for us, so we should watch it but always remember what it is. My favorite part is where a fellow points at a destroyed minaret as if it was a bad thing. If mosques were churches or temples or any kind of analog thereof, I might agree. But knowing what a mosque really is the only question I have is why anyone tolerates any of them to exist at all.

4. Russia considering UN action on protecting Middle East Christians
(Russia is considering doing this. Not the USA, but Russia. Obama really has done a good job of turning America into the country he believed it was rather than adjusting his perception to see how great it really was and keeping it that way.)

6.Vandals cut down iconic Cross on Ireland’s highest mountain

The Cross on the summit of ??Carrauntoohil in Co Kerry? has been cut down.
Kerry Climbing reported on their Facebook page that they heard from two walkers this morning that it had been cut down with an angle grinder.
Members of the group climbed the summit and confirmed that it has been cut down with only one foot of it left in the ground, and the rest of the cross strewn on the ground nearby.
The group said: “We were guiding a group today and on the way to the summit heard reports of the cross having been cut down.
“This was confirmed when we summited and saw the cross strewn on the summit. Very shocking sight. ”
Piaras Kelly of KerryClimbing.ie said: “No matter what anyone’s personal views on having crosses on peaks are, this goes beyond that. It’s an iconic cross on an iconic peak.”

Bulgarian Muslim leader charged with spreading propaganda for the Islamic State group
SOFIA, Bulgaria – Bulgarian prosecutors have charged a Muslim religious leader and six others with spreading war propaganda for the Islamic State group.
Deputy Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov told reporters Wednesday that six men and one woman, including an imam named Ahmed Mussa, were charged with preaching the anti-democratic ideology of the Islamic State group.
Sarafov said they are believed to have operated as an organized criminal group led by the imam, who allegedly had preached surrounded by the Islamic State flags urging his followers to be prepared to fight against Christianity.
Police operations in several cities uncovered a large number of shirts and banners with the logo of the Islamic State. Investigators also found evidence that the detainees helped western Europeans on their way to join the Islamic State group.

CANADA – QUEBEC – Mosque in Chateauguay target of bomb threat
Chateauguay police evacuated several buildings near Crepin St. and Clermont St. Wednesday morning while they investigated a bomb threat.
Around 6:30 a.m. someone phoned 9-1-1 to report a bomb being placed at a mosque in the mostly-residential neighbourhood.
Officers arrived to find a suspicious package on the front doorstep and they immediately cordoned off the area.
12 buildings were evacuated, although nobody was in the building that was threatened.
The Surete du Quebec bomb squad arrived several hours later and at 9:40 a.m. “neutralized the package” according to Chateauguay police, allowing neighbours to return to their homes.
Police did not say whether the package was, in fact, an explosive device or not.
This is the first time this mosque has been threatened.

Putin is a master of playing to the masses, he has most of the people in Russia eating out of his hands and wants to add the Christians around the world to that group. I wish that we had a President that would do the same thing.

Hmmm. It is the community of Ferguson that seems to have work to do. The false witness and threats leveled against the cop who fired in self defense cannot be tolerated by a community pretending to have a shred of decency.
Now there’s a task for you, Mr. President. Ferguson needs a community organizer willing and capable of resetting its moral compass. Maybe you could recommend such an individual. It should be easy for a Nobel Peace Prize winner such as yourself.
