ZARQA, Jordan — Several hundred robed Muslim clerics recently packed themselves into an auditorium to hear the minister of Islamic affairs issue their new marching orders. The meeting was mandatory.

“You clerics are our ground forces against the extremists,” Hayel Dawood told them.

Then he made himself clear: Preach moderate Islam — or else.

“Once you cross the red line,” Dawood intoned, “you will not be let back in.”

2. Soldier-killer’s mosque vandalized in Quebec

The mosque in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que., that was frequented by the man who used his car as a weapon to kill a Canadian soldier last month was vandalized over the weekend, police say.

Police say a suspect or suspects smashed the front window with a piece of concrete between Sunday evening and early Monday morning. […] The Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu mosque was one of four targeted in the province over the weekend. The others had derogatory messages posted on their doors.

5. Stabbing Attack at Tel Aviv Train Station

A 20-year-old IDF soldier was critically wounded in a terrorist stabbing attack at the entrance to Tel Aviv’s Hahagana train station on Monday.

Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics tried to resuscitate the victim at the site before sending him to Ichilov Hospital where he was brought to the surgery room.

The victim was reportedly stabbed numerous times, including in the upper body and waist, as he tried to fight off his attacker.

6. UK: Mancunian Way stabbing: Police investigate possible ‘targeted attack’ after high-speed car chase

Four men chased a terrified driver onto grassland near the A56 Chester Road roundabout, where he was stabbed twice in the leg. […]

One attacker was black and three were Asian. Detectives tonight refused to speculate on the motive.

There are those in positions of influence and power who do understand the situation and may be ready to act sometime soon. They will count on an informed public to support those actions. We have an opportunity to be that informed public and to provide that support.

Continue to pester friends and family with the truth of what Islam has in store for liberal democracy. Many will come around to reality and others will not. But sooner or later the dice will hit the table and the more people who are ready to act the better our chances. So do not be discouraged by the gravitas of the news. Just remember we still have time. We can win this thing. We have to win this thing. In areas where muslims win, history itself is destroyed and referred to by a term muslims use which is as cynically ironic as humanly possible, “The time of ignorance”. That would of course be the entirety of Greek, Hindu, Chinese and secular thought. the sun-total of human accomplishment. Medical technology and understanding and agricultural, all demolished by a single barbaric idea.

So send out those links. Not from this site, but from the best sources you can find. Give your friends and family and acquaintances no easy route to dismissal. Talk about it at bars. Grow the base. When the right person appears in a position of leadership, they are gonna need us.

  2. It is becoming clear that ISIS have no need for Muslim clerics since they are practising the only pure Islam and have direct contact without interpretors.

    One can understand that this is scaring the shit out of these clerics all over the Muslim communty. Through centuries they lived respected and in wealth. And now ISIS will take everything away?

  3. Reuters – China targets ‘wild imams’ in mass public sentencing

    China has jailed almost two dozen people including “wild imams” who preach illegally in the western region of Xinjiang where the government says Islamists are waging a violent campaign for a separate state, Chinese media reported on Tuesday.

    The 22 suspects were sentenced to prison terms ranging from five to 16 years at a mass public sentencing in Xinjiang on Monday, the state-controlled China News Service reported.

    As well as the imams, or Muslim religious leaders, those sentenced included religious leaders who engaged in religious activities after being sacked, as well as those who broke the law while at their posts, it said.

    Others were accused of inciting ethnic hatred, using superstition to destroy the law, and picking quarrels and provoking trouble, it said.

    Xinjiang is home to a mostly Muslim minority group known as Uighurs.

    China has vowed to crack down on religious extremism, which it blames for a string of violent attacks this year in Xinjiang and elsewhere. Exiles and activists say Chinese controls on the religion and culture of the Uighur people is more a cause of the violence than well-organized militant groups.

    The exiled World Uyghur Congress condemned the sentencing in a statement, saying it was religious repression that trampled on the rights of the Uighur people.

    “The so-called distinction between legal and illegal religion is determined based on China’s political needs,” said Dilxat Raxit, a spokesman for the group.

    “Uighurs basically have no rights to faith.”

    Mass public sentencings have become common in Xinjiang, with state television often showing them taking place in packed outdoor auditoriums. Rights groups have said mass trials and sentencings deny the accused the right to due process.

    A court in September jailed for life the country’s most prominent advocate for Uighur rights in a case that provoked an outcry in the West and among rights groups.

    China is worried that militants in Xinjiang can get support from Islamists in nearby Pakistan and Afghanistan.

    U.S. President Barack Obama, in an interview with the official Xinhua news agency that ran late on Monday, said terrorist groups should not be allowed to establish a safe haven along China’s periphery.

    AFP – Obama names shady Chinese group in terror cooperation call

    BEIJING: US President Barack Obama named a shady group linked to attacks in China’s mainly Muslim far west as he called for cooperation with Beijing on anti-terror efforts in an interview with Chinese state media.

    Beijing regularly blames an organisation it calls the East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) for a series of deadly attacks in its Xinjiang region, home to the Uighur minority. “Terrorist groups like ETIM should not be allowed to establish a safe haven in ungoverned areas along China’s periphery,” Obama said in a written interview with China’s official Xinhua news agency published late Monday (Nov 10).

    Violent attacks and clashes in and related to Xinjiang over the past year have claimed more than 200 lives, and China has been keen to link what it calls a domestic fight against terrorists to global anti-militant efforts. But Beijing has produced little evidence linking the attacks to organised extremist groups, and some analysts doubt that the ETIM exists as a significant force inside the region.

    The US, reportedly at Beijing’s request, added the group, sometimes also known as the Turkestan Islamic Party, to a list of terrorist organisations in 2004, but has generally said little about it.

    Rights groups said that violence in Xinjiang is fuelled by government repression of Uighur religious traditions and culture, and economic discrimination.

    On the same day the interview with Obama was published, a court in Kashgar, a city in Xinjiang near the border with Pakistan, sentenced 22 people to jail on religion-related offenses, state-run media said. The 22 were sentenced for crimes ranging from “illegal preaching activities by ‘wild imam'” to “engaging in illegal religious activity” to religious staff who had been dismissed from their positions but continued to preach, according to the government-run China News Agency. They were sentenced to prison terms of 5 to 16 years.

    Government constrains on religious practices in Xinjiang, including banning veils and long beards, have sparked violent clashes in the past, residents say.

    Obama added that greater co-operation would depend “on actions China takes at home”. “As nations, we cannot confuse violent extremism with peaceful dissent,” he said. “A failure to treat people equally or respect rule of law or universal rights can sometimes push people into the ranks of terrorist groups. Upholding these rights and the rule of law can often be one of the most effective long-term weapons against terrorism.”

    But he said China and the US could cooperate “in stemming the flow of foreign terrorist fighters and cracking down on terrorist funding networks”.

    Xinhua said Obama made the remarks in Washington ahead of his first visit to China in five years, where he is attending an Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting in Beijing.

        New Coptic pope wants Jerusalem to be liberated

        • That’s a really big demo – peaceful and dignified as well. Can Angela Merkel really be so stupid as to just shrug that off? Is she not aware that a big enough crowd has the power to simply march on the government and take over if it wants, with the army unwilling to fire on its own people? If the governments of Europe don’t start doing the right things, there may well have to be a “European Spring”.

        • Chris the European Spring is what I have been expecting, once it starts the uprisings will spread to all European nations, that is when the fights between the Moslem invaders and the European defenders will start in earnest.

        • Rita the East has always been the militaristic part of Germany, it was the area settled by western knights to protect Western Europe from various groups that were trying to advance into and conquer the west. For that reason it is the region of the long term military families and was usually the area of the greatest patriotism. It sounds strange to say that the salvation of the west may come from the region that threatened it twice in the 20th Century.

          I think that Merkel is prisoner of the last election results which oblige her to “co-habit” (i.e. be hostage of) with the Left. I dont know how much power she has left. Having said this (and I will stand corrected, not living in Germany) she has given into blackmail of allowing immigration to go feral even while she had much more power.

  9. UK – Katie Hopkins anti-Muslim rant calling Palestinians ‘filthy rodents’ leads to calls for her arrest

    Katie Hopkins latest Twitter posts has led to calls for her ARREST for stirring up racial hatred.

    The former Apprentice contestant posted a series of anti-Muslim posts on her account after reports of the stabbings in Tel Aviv apparently carried out by an Arab man on two Israelis, including one that labelled Palestinians “filthy rodents”.

    “Palestinians busy knifing Israelis. 2 state solution my arse. Filthy rodents burrowing beneath Israel. Time to restart the bombing campaign.

    “Arab terrorists fired rockets from schools and hospitals. They brought down Israeli fire on to their own people. See behind the pictures.”

    It isn’t clear if the former reality star posted the comments herself or was hacked – although the offensive tweets remain on her account.

    • Yeah, but you can’t go around calling entire groups of human beings “filthy rodents”, because talk like that can lead to genocide. It’s tempting, but it’s just not a good idea. Also, it’s against the law in most places…

    • Oh, I went and looked at the Katie Hopkins article and now I feel kinda dumb. She didn’t call all Palestinians “evil rodents”, she was justifiably angry and called the guys who were tunneling into Israel “evil rodents”, which they most definitely are. In fact, I cannot think of anything more “evil rodenty” than digging murder tunnels under civilian areas. There is a subtle difference here…

        Calling them “rodents” [or even better “RATS”] is just what they are. “Evil” is a value judgement, apt as far as I’m concerned, but possibly editorializing and thus offensive.

    You can preach “moderate Islam” ’til you’re blue in the face, but the fact is that what the Quran actually teaches is exactly the same as what ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas and Boko Haram preach. You can lie all you want, but the truth is the truth. The only way the world is going to move on from this is for the religion of Islam to be eradicated and consigned to the shameful back pages of human history, along with human sacrifice and cannibalism. That’s the truth, whether anybody likes it or not…

    Thanks for this Dresden series incl. the PI News article! So refreshing – It is interesting like former EAST Germany seemto show more guts fighting the prevailing effluent – is it perhaps because they have experienced living under a dictature? While we in the West have been getting comfy and fat in more ways than one…
