1. Sharia law or gay marriage critics would be branded ‘extremists’ under Tory plans, atheists and Christians warn

(This is the logical progression of events based on Western government’s insistence that the problem the West faces is one of ‘extremism’ without even saying what kind. In essence, it gives the state license to arrest anyone who believes in anything. Who answers Yes or No on any form instead of ‘I don’t know’ and it will be selectively enforced against those the state is unafraid of, meaning those of us that believe in our own cultures, laws and traditions as well as selected against those of us who are open about supporting our own culture in order that governments can have data-points they can show off so it doesn’t look like they are only after muslims; when they damn well should be)

Anyone who criticises Sharia law or gay marriage could be branded an “extremist” under sweeping new powers planned by the Conservatives to combat terrorism, an alliance of leading atheists and Christians fear.

Theresa May, the Home Secretary, unveiled plans last month for so-called Extremism Disruption Orders, which would allow judges to ban people deemed extremists from broadcasting, protesting in certain places or even posting messages on Facebook or Twitter without permission.

  8. 2. Religious Education (RE).
    In the UK, “Section 78 (1) of the 2002 Education Act states that all pupils should follow a balanced and broadly based curriculum which ‘promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, social, mental and physical development of pupils and of society, and prepares pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life’. ”

    Step back from this declaration of intent. Religious Education, used to be an objective comparative study of human behavior, now it “promotes” conditional behavior in children. The exact opposite of the meaning of education into indoctrination. The scientific model of objective examination has been replaced by the Marxist Model of subjective impression: all religions are the same.

    This follows from sex-education. The removal of obvious genders to all sexual expression, except those not yet legal, are equal in status.

    The RE mantra goes on:

    “Learning about and from religions and beliefs, through the distinct knowledge, understanding and skills contained in RE within a broad-based curriculum, is essential to achieving these aims. Exploring the concepts of religion and belief and their roles in the spiritual, moral and cultural lives of people in a diverse society helps individuals develop moral awareness and social understanding.”

    If this were true, there would be taught their context: the cruelty and violence of Muhammadism to ,the codification of castes in Hinduism. This statement therefore is pure BS. This psychobabble is intended to develop the fear to criticize. “Racism” put on a student’s file, as close to “bourgeoise” as possible, if they don’t ape their peers.

    Adult life, employment, lifelong learning of how not to raise your game.

        • It has seemed to me for some years that children from Western countries actually have a better chance of getting at least a little genuine education in the second- and third-tier international schools than they do in their home countries in many cases. Not the first-tier schools, because those generally seem to conform (sometimes fiercely) to home country norms and neuroses. But many competent and committed teachers find refuge in the less-well-paying international schools (and in exile generally). Teachers in these schools may have a fair degree of autonomy in the classroom and even in designing curriculum. For students it’s hit and miss, but better than the out-and-out indoctrination of the systems we’re reading about here.
