1. These people could as easily be carrying signs protesting the fighting of Ebola. Listen to some of the people interviewed. Their thought process is stunningly muddy. And I bet everyone of them want more brain-altering drugs made legal.
2. Apparently Cuba has no mosques. And one must admit, that has been working very well for them.
On October 8th, 2014, the International Cultural Center is organizing another of these “outreach” activities in Montgomery Village (Maryland) between known Islamists and police authorities under the theme Understanding the ISIS Threat to the Homeland. In their presentation of the panel, the organizers announce that “[their] international expert panel will discuss the recruiting tactics of ISIS and other terrorist groups and explore innovative strategies for empowering the community to intervene.”
In spite of the fact that both Rabia Chaudry and Hussein Hamdani are Islamists linked with the North American Hamas support infrastructure, they are scheduled to meet with Montgomery County Police Chief Thomas Manger to present their “solutions” to the terrorist recruitment in the U.S.

1/ Looks like Britain has a serious problem at home.
I wouldn’t trust them with sensitive military information.
Then, again, I don’t trust my own Dear Leaders.
Stop the War Coalition are highly selective, to say the least, not only with facts and perspectives but with what they choose to discuss at all.
A search for ‘Egypt’ on their website – to find their take on the rise and fall of the Muslim Brotherhood there – turns up a mere 49 results on 3 pages, overwhelmingly recent articles about Israel and Gaza.
One is from Chomsky: ‘After 50 days of shooting fish in a barrel in Gaza, what will Israel do next?’ There are also pieces about Israel/Gaza by John Pilger and area experts Roger Waters, Heathcote Williams (a long, bad poem with pictures) and Brian Eno (‘In a world of horrors, why I single out the war crimes of Israel’).
But a position on the Arab Spring emerges. It was ‘the wave of revolutionary enthusiasm which swept the Middle East,’ taking Western powers aback, and crushed by the dictator and Hamas-hating ally of Israel El Sisi.
‘Saudi is… the organising centre of counter-revolution in the Middle East and the central backer of Field Marshall El Sisi, the leader of the coup in Egypt…. The whole of El Sisi’s coup rests on his banning of the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organisation. In fact the modern Egyptian Brotherhood’s history is predicated on its rejection of terrorist methods of struggle’ (‘A new wave of Islamophobia: where it comes from and how to stop it.’ John Rees, Apr 2014).
Revolutionary enthusiasm, counter-revolution, struggle, some honest language from these shariah-compliant communists who pretended to be defending democracy in their leaflets and pamphlets for the Oct 4 march. For instance,
Syria: Ten Reasons Why We Oppose the Intervention
#5 The West’s main allies in the intervention, particularly Saudi Arabia and Qatar, have no interest in democracy in the Middle East. They are among the most authoritarian regimes in the region and they have done their best to crush the democracy movement.
Frightening.

Polio: Pakistan polio outbreak hits record high (BBC, Oct 4, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-29488677
“Pakistan has recorded its highest number of polio cases for 15 years, with health officials blaming the rise on attacks on immunisation teams.
The number of new cases in 2014 so far is 202, exceeding the 199 cases in 2001 but short of the 558 cases in 1999.
Most of the infections are in the north-western tribal region where militants have targeted health teams.
Militants there accuse doctors of being spies and say the vaccinations are part of a Western plot to sterilise Muslims.
Suspicions over the programmes worsened after the US was accused of using a fake vaccination programme during its tracking of al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan in 2011.
Since December 2012, about 60 people, including health workers and police providing security to medical teams, have been killed by Taliban militants targeting polio teams.
The BBC’s Shaimaa Khalil in Islamabad says the rise in cases is hugely embarrassing to Pakistan….”
Somali troops capture key port town from al-Shabab (BBC, Oct 5, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-29495801
“Somali government troops backed by African Union forces have captured a key stronghold of al-Shabab Islamists, local officials say.
The regional governor told the BBC that he was in the centre of Barawe, about 200km (125 miles) south of Mogadishu.
The government now controls all the seaports along the coast of Somalia, blocking off supply lines.
The AU says al-Shabab, who had held the town for six years, used it as a base to launch attacks on the capital.
Residents said many of the al-Qaeda-aligned militants had begun withdrawing from the key port town on Friday….”
‘Thousands’ more troops needed to tackle IS – Richards (BBC, Oct 5, 2014)
http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-29496255
“The former head of the armed forces has called for the British army to increase in size, in order to tackle Islamic State (IS) and other Muslim extremists.
General Lord Richards told the BBC “thousands” more soldiers were needed.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said while IS was a “serious threat to our way of life”, the response was not as straightforward as “ramping up” troops….”
Islamic State Group Publicly Kills 6 in Iraq (abcnews, Oct 5, 2014)
http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/islamic-state-group-publicly-kills-iraq-25973026
“Witnesses say Islamic State group militants have publicly killed six Iraqi soldiers in Anbar province, where it continues to make gains despite an expanding U.S.-led campaign of airstrikes.
Witnesses say the soldiers — one in uniform and five in civilian clothes — were lined up against a wall Sunday in the town of Hit and shot in the head. They say the Islamic State group also bombed a police station in Hit, located some 140 kilometers (85 miles) west of the capital, Baghdad.
The witnesses spoke on condition of anonymity out of fear of reprisal.
The Islamic State group stormed Hit on Thursday, its latest victory against the embattled Iraqi military in Anbar. The U.S. has launched airstrikes on Islamic State group positions in Anbar.”

Thank-you, Martin.
Pure beauty. Classic perfection where human merges with sublime.
Muslims are incapable of such-like – they’re a blight on everything they touch.
The rest of us are blessed – we can cherish a here & now that’s heaven on earth.
I wish we could go back to the 60s and show how the KGB was bankrolling all of the counter culture movements.
