“In the past 24 hours, IS fighters have launched a huge offensive and seized at least 16 villages to the east and west of Kobane,” said Syrian Observatory for Human Rights head Rami Abdel Rahman, using the Kurdish name for Ain al-Arab.

8. Pakistani Scholar Accused of Blasphemy Is Shot Dead

KARACHI, Pakistan — A liberal Muslim scholar who had been accused of blasphemy for a speech he gave during a visit to the United States was shot dead in Karachi on Thursday, the city police said.

The scholar, Muhammad Shakil Auj, was the dean of Islamic studies at the state-run University of Karachi. Unidentified gunmen on a motorbike attacked the vehicle he was riding in on his way to a reception at his honor at the Iranian consulate.

Dr. Auj was shot in the head and neck and died immediately, officials said. A female student in the back of the car was shot in the arm and was treated at a hospital.

A week earlier, a visiting religious scholar at the same Islamic studies department, Maulana Masood Baig, was also shot dead by unknown attackers.

I think the video of the British hostage from earlier deserves thought. It is interesting that Youtube pulled it even though there is no violence or counsel to violence. The BBC clip was somewhat odd in its analysis as well. More on this later.

    “Yemen’s state television says its headquarters in a northwestern suburb of the capital Sanaa is under attack by Shiite rebels. The station gave no details of Thursday night’s attack, which prompted President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to hold emergency talks with top Cabinet aides.

    The officials also said heavy fighting between the rebels, known as Hawthis, and Sunni militias in Shamlan, a suburb also northwest of Sanaa that is home to the Iman Islamic university, an institution long viewed as a primary breeding ground for militias.

    The officials say the fighting in Shamlan has forced thousands to flee their homes, but they had no word on casualties. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.”

  4. Sep 18 2014 – ISIS attacks Baghdad

    On September 18, the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) launched a complex attack likely targeting the Adala (Justice) Prison in Baghdad’s Kadhmiyah neighborhood in northern Baghdad. According to the Baghdad Operations Command, the attack was intended to break into the prison but was foiled. ISIS also launched another attack in Baghdad’s Iskan neighborhood that likely targeted the offices of the Iraqi Shi’a political group and militia, the Badr Organization.

    The Attack

    ISIS’s attack included mortar rounds, Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs), and Suicide Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (SVBIEDs). The mortars were likely launched from the areas of the northern Baghdad belt including Taji. Fourteen mortar rounds reportedly targeted the Adala prison and in the vicinity of Kadhmiyah, and other mortar rounds fell in the Greaat area in northern Baghdad which is adjacent to Kadhmiyah. An SVBIED also targeted the prison, resulting in the death of three people and injury of 10. Two attackers who had intended to attack the prison while wearing an explosive vest (SVEST) were arrested. Another VBIED exploded in a restaurant area in Kadhmiyah that resulted in the death of four people and the injury of 11 people. Iraqi police also defused yet another VBIED that was also found in Kadhmiyah. As a result of these attacks, security forces raised alert levels in Kadhmiyah. Security Forces also ordered commercial shops to be closed in the predominantly Iraqi Sunni neighborhood of Adhamiyah. Adhamiyah lies just across the Aaima bridge from Kadhmiyah. Elsewhere in Baghdad, a VBIED detonated in the Iskan area in western Baghdad. The VBIED targeted the office of the Badr Organization, a Shi’a militia organization that has taken a leading role in directing Iraqi Shi’a militia operations to counter ISIS.

    Implications

    This attack is very significant. It is the first infantry-like, complex, and penetrating attack in Baghdad city by ISIS since the fall of Mosul in June of this year. ISIS likely carried out the attack to release some of the pressure it is facing as a result of the recent U.S. air campaign targeting its positions. The attack also signifies that, despite the heightened defenses of Baghdad in the aftermath of the fall of Mosul, ISIS is still able to carry out attacks in an area where it is unlikely to have active sleeper cells given Kadhmiyah’s predominantly Iraqi Shi’a demographic. The mortars were likely launched from Taji due to ISIS’s historical presence in the area and its ongoing activities there.

    The attacks will not likely divert great deal of resources of the ISF and Iraqi Shi’a militias into other areas. The government will want to maintain a strong defense of Baghdad by preserving the same posture. More likely, however, the attacks will trigger increased activities of Iraqi Shi’a militia in Baghdad in order to target ISIS sleeper cells and predominantly Iraqi Sunni areas including Adhamiyah.

The alliteration alone – woozily wobbled, lovely lass, filling her field of vision with his fleshy face. The treatment they get in this prose may be something these particular women have brought on themselves. But the article is a disservice to the reality that cabs are no longer safe for any woman.

    Hello there…….its me again……..Don Laird……..

    The reality is that many, in fact almost all taxi drivers are Muslim.

    Owing to their hatred of non-Muslim women, the non-Muslim women are in grave danger when riding late at night, intoxicated, mildly or otherwise or not at all. This is a fact.

    This danger, ever present, is compounded further by the gut wrenching laziness, ignorance, incompetence and political correctness of law enforcement, primarily the RCMP, as when complaints of sexual assault, rape and molestation regarding the criminality of Muslim taxi drivers by non-Muslim women. Investigations are botched, files are lost, women told to shut-up and go-away, the list goes on and in the end, a serious, potentially fatal sexual assault goes investigated. It is an outrageous state of affairs.

    Even in the case of small towns and small cities like Ft McMurray, Grande Prairie, Edson, Hinton, Dawson City and Prince George the persons responsible for the issuance of taxi drivers permits and business licences completely and utterly fail to proper checks, proper background checks, criminal record checks and in the case of many of these drivers coming from the Sudan, Lebanon and Somalia, the officials fail to do a proper background check with the drivers country of origin and or Interpol. Its a farce that has Somalian and Muslim taxi drivers wetting their pants with laughter at the ease at which they are allowed to operate taxis with absolutely no oversight and no permitting process.

    In fact with several companies like Golden Taxi and On-Time Taxi, they simply move drivers from town to town and with only a cell phone connecting them to the town, its an absolute free-for-all!!!!

    Even when these drivers move their like “Rape-On-Wheels” game from town to town the RCMP are complete incapable of performing the most basic of investigatory and documentation protocol. Its a ridiculous farce.

    In every case the drivers are Muslim but bureaucrats, politicians and law enforcement refuse to deal harshly with these bastards and in so doing provide a solution and send a message to the Muslim that its criminality will result in a crippling course of action that will expeditiously and effectively remind the Muslim that it doesn’t live in some vile Islamic Middle Eastern or African hellhole where women and little boys and girls are human garbage put on this earth for their sick sexual pleasure.

    In reference to a subject of conversation recently on Vladtepesblog.com regarding vigilantism this is a perfect example of the cowardice and incompetence of those charged with our protection abandoning us. In this case in dawson Creek I personally talked to two men, fathers and husbands, who told me point blank that were their wives, their children or any member of their families were to be harmed the offending driver would “disappear”.

    These men are oilfield workers, loggers, truck driver and miners and they are sick of the threat posed by the Muslim taxi drivers and even more sick of the cowardly police, media and courts who refuse to acknowledge the Islamic elephant in the room. As they asserted their positions and intent to protect their loved ones and families, I shook their hands and told them I fully supported them.

    • Hard to imagine the problem fixing itself, with mass immigration continuing apace and Muslims in Canada growing in numbers and confidence. As a stop-gap, at least, women and families should only use regular drivers they know and know something about, and under no circumstances hire unfamiliar cabs. That makes for a lot of inconvenience, but it’s better than women and children being assaulted.

  10. Suppose we went the route of categorizing Islam as not a religion, but a cult of murder and violence against all non-Muslims. Will that be useful? It can only be useful if parliament passed a law prohibiting the practice of Islam, or the banishment of Muslims from Canada (insert any EWesterbn state).

    The above is unlikely to happen, and if by some oddity did, Australia(or any Western state), would be vilified by the whole world. It would also lead to serious internal disorder.

    Now consider a more insidious approach. After each horrendous Jihadi act, politicians, and the media, went out of their way to insist that Islam is a religion of peace, that the Jihadis were a tiny minority, and most important of all, Jihadis had totally misinterpreted the koran.

    Over the years everyone will know that the official line is a lie, promulgated for geo-strategic and political reasons. More important though, it snookers Muslims and their spokesmen. They can hardly claim that the politicians and the MSM are wrong. And if any Muslim, such as abu Qatada or Anjem Chaudary claimed otherwise, the media could dismiss them as fanatics.

    The advantage of the above tactic is that when we need to intervene within, or in any Islamic nation, we can always claim to be doing so to protect authentic and peaceful Islam, by destroying those who are mis-understanders of Islam (which we are doing) and giving Islam a bad name.. This policy ties the hands of Muslims in the West, as they have already acquiesced to the Western policy directive that Islam is a peaceful religion. All they can now do is to state that such interventions only increase the strength of Jihadis.

    Another important reason for our present policy is that it allows us to intervene in Muslim countries without the opposition of the whole Muslim world. In fact we can use one Islamic nation as a base to intervene in another adjacent Islamic nation.
    There are a few disadvantages in this policy, but in the main, it is a reasonably correct one. Alterations can always be made with time, as is happening as the mass rapes of young girls is coming to light.

    What’s sickening is that opposition to Islam is labelled by politically correct poltroons(including Muslims) as far right!
    EDL are not far right ,they are like millions in the UK opposed to the outrageous nauseous culture of Islam.
