1. Indonesia arrests four Turks over links to Islamic State

“They are Turkish,” Amar said, confirming the arrest and adding that the men were being investigated for their connection to the dreaded Islamist group.

2. Leader of Australia’s Green party shows the same kind of myopia Green party leaders show in Canada.

a: she attacks the government decision to fight the Islamic state without proposing an alternative

b: she claims that attacking them will make the enemy mad so it shouldn’t be done. This may define myopia as it applies to geopolitics.

3. Experts Say Jordan in Danger – and Israel’s Next in Line

4. Turkey fails to cut Islamic State oil revenue despite US pressure

Washington: The Obama administration is struggling to cut off the millions of dollars in oil revenue that has made the Islamic State one of the wealthiest terror groups in history, but, so far, has been unable to persuade Turkey, the NATO ally where much of the oil is traded on the black market, to crack down on an extensive sales network.

Western intelligence officials say they can track the Islamic State oil shipments as they move across Iraq and into Turkey’s southern border regions.

Despite extensive discussions inside the Pentagon, US forces have, so far, not attacked the tanker trucks.

5. CIA, MI6 and Turkey’s rogue game in Syria: New claims say Ankara worked with the US and Britain to smuggle Gaddafi’s weapons to jihadi fighters

(At last. The explanation for the attack on the US embassy in Libya grows near)

6. Extent of Antarctic sea ice reaches record levels, scientists say

Scientists have declared a new record has been set for the extent of Antarctic sea ice since records began.

Satellite imagery reveals an area of about 20 million square kilometres covered by sea ice around the Antarctic continent.

Jan Lieser from the Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) said the discovery was made two days ago.

“This is an area covered by sea ice which we’ve never seen from space before,” he said.

7. Rotherham police arrest 7 EDL members while leaving muslim child sex slave gags to operate for years and years.

An open letter to the people of the United Kingdom:

Dear Scotland,

I have no idea if it is in your interests to separate from the United Kingdom and go it on your own as a nation. Think about it and do what is best for yourselves, your culture and your children.

Dear people of Rotherham and all the other towns and cities that have had Islamic Rape Gangs operating about which the police and municipal authorities knew about and did nothing,

Start a referendum now to separate from the UK and go it alone. You cannot possibly do worse than the British Government has done to you. Seriously.

8. Thinking of marrying a Muslim man? Here is one possible future Jewish lady

9. Swedish election:  The leader of Sweden’s Social Democrats says he will try to form a government after their election win, but will not work with the far right.

10. Child sex gangs? We are too busy trying to catch car thieves… That’s what target-driven police told head of their abuse unit

A senior police officer who warned that vulnerable children were being sexually groomed says she was ignored because her bosses were more interested in fighting car theft.

Detective Inspector Meriel Buglass, who headed a unit dealing with sex offences, claimed her superiors failed to act on her findings for eight months, during which girls continued to be abused.

In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, Ms Buglass, now retired, blames the ‘target-driven culture’ that existed at Greater Manchester Police.

Thank you Yucki, UK Pete, M., and all who sent in materials.

    • Some time ago Eeyore made a kind of connection between certain co-incidences – a plane with Seals shot down – the addresses of some American special forces (the ones who killed Osama?) being “accidentally” published – the details of the unsuccessful (aborted?) rescue attempt of the first Journalist beheaded in the latest series of 3 – I might confuse the details which he described, but it all pointed towards Obama, or someone in his administration as the leaker (accidental or deliberate…)

Am I getting paranoid? If not: WHEN WILL SOMEONE NAME THE BEAST !!!!!!!!

    • Factually yes, legally no, treason can only be charged during a declared war. That is why the charge of giving aid and comfort to the enemy during time of conflict was written.

      • It is probably one of the reasons, another reason is that if it is a war people would start screaming that we aren’t fighting it to win the war and start asking why. Gulf War I was fought as a war but we quit before we had a clear victory, now we are nation building from day one and losing people without achieving anything,

  2. #2. Saw this repulsive woman (the leader of the Australian Greens) without the soft lens that ABC24 above obviously applies (ABC is the OZ version of the BBC) – and, hearing her say about the “Islamic Nation” (IS) that we should “try and solve it diplomatically”, I looked at her facelift-gone-wrong and had evil thoughts about IS and severed heads and…you know…

  3. PS TO #2 : Incidentally: this cow (Greens Leader) has ONE all consuming passion: she hates, but really HATES Tony Abott, the Australian Prime Minister – to a point where it just has to be sexual. YUK

  4. Christine Milne whingeing and whining again??? She’s an embarrassment to Australia.
I guess all the Greens mean well on some level – but it started off with Save the Trees and should have remained there. Now incompetent people like her are in politics , way out of their depth and playing with the big boys in matters they have no insight in at all.

A ‘Let’s-just-close-our-eyes-and-visualize-all-these-nasty-IS-people-having-a realisation-about-their-errors’ policy is just not going to work, Ms. Milne. Stick to Tasmania and environmental issues, please.

  5. It’s part of the official story that the US ambassador met with Turkish diplomats in the Benghazi consulate the day of the attack. Not long after they left, the attack began.

Interesting timing, no? Fortunate for those Turks…how lucky….!

  6. DAILY MAIL – ROTHERHAM – Rotherham child-sex victim confronts her alleged abuser in the street… but SHE is arrested by a van load of police

    – Victim saw man she says abused her walking the town’s streets
    – The now 28-year-old challenged him over claims of grooming and violence
    – But when police arrived, she was handcuffed and arrested by officers
    – She was ‘shoved into van’ by two officers in ‘thuggish’ arrest, witness says
    – Police later realised they had been hoping to interview her over claims
    – She refused to speak to them after she was reportedly pushed against wall

  7. As I posted before, we are going to ME whenever we want to, without consulting local imams. This will increase the Jihad as expected, upping the status quo ante. This is going to carry on for the next 50 years, or until we are at war with the Islamic world. However we will never say so. A cold war will exist when there is no hot war. Strict immigration rules, trade embargoes, and the rest, will be applied just as they were with the USSR.

    Carry on up the Khyber.

  8. China says ‘rescues’ more children from Xinjiang religious schools

A sweep on illegal religious activity in the capital of China’s unruly far western region of Xinjiang has resulted in 190 children being “rescued”, along with the detention of dozens of people, a state newspaper said on Monday.

Xinjiang, home to the Muslim Uighur people who speak a Turkic language, has been beset for years by violence that the Chinese government blames on Islamist militants and separatists.

Hundreds have died in violence in Xinjiang in the past 18 months, prompting a sweeping crackdown by the government, including on religious activities.

Last month the government said it had “rescued” 82 children in Xinjiang’s capital Urumqi from religious schools known as madrassas, and that campaign appears to be continuing.

The official Legal Daily said that in recent days there had been another sweep in Urumqi against the b>”three illegals” of illegal publicity materials, illegal religious activities and illegal religious teaching.

A total of 85 people have been detained and 190 children “rescued”, the newspaper said, without providing further details.

Children in Xinjiang are prohibited by the government from attending madrassas, prompting many parents who wish to provide a religious education to use underground schools.

Exiled Uighur groups and human rights activists say the government’s repressive policies in Xinjiang, including controls on Islam, have provoked unrest, a claim Beijing denies.

Dilxat Raxit, spokesman for the exiled World Uyghur Congress, said that he feared more people would end up being caught up in the dragnet.

“China thinks that Uighurs who uphold their faith and use the Internet are a challenge to China’s rule,” he said in an emailed comment. “China’s hostility will probably mean even more Uighurs lose their freedom.”

Along with trying to limit the wearing items of clothing like headscarves and the growing of beards for men, Beijing has also come down hard on those within the country who have sought to challenge the official narrative of Xinjiang’s unrest.

This week, prominent Uighur academic Ilham Tohti will be tried on separatism charges.

Tohti, an economics professor at Beijing’s Minzu University who has championed Uighur rights, was detained in January. His case has attracted concern in the United States and Europe.

  9. Benghazi Bombshell: Clinton State Department Official Reveals Details of Alleged Document Review

As the House Select Committee on Benghazi prepares for its first hearing this week, a former State Department diplomat is coming forward with a startling allegation: Hillary Clinton confidants were part of an operation to “separate” damaging documents before they were turned over to the Accountability Review Board investigating security lapses surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.

According to former Deputy Assistant Secretary Raymond Maxwell, the after-hours session took place over a weekend in a basement operations-type center at State Department headquarters in Washington, D.C. This is the first time Maxwell has publicly come forward with the story.

At the time, Maxwell was a leader in the State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA), which was charged with collecting emails and documents relevant to the Benghazi probe.

[…]“She told me, ‘Ray, we are to go through these stacks and pull out anything that might put anybody in the [Near Eastern Affairs] front office or the seventh floor in a bad light,’” says Maxwell. He says “seventh floor” was State Department shorthand for then-Secretary of State Clinton and her principal advisors.

“I asked her, ‘But isn’t that unethical?’ She responded, ‘Ray, those are our orders.’ ”

[…]In an interview Monday morning on Fox News, Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, named the two Hillary Clinton confidants who were allegedly present: Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s chief of staff and former White House counsel who defended President Bill Clinton during his impeachment trial; and Deputy Chief of Staff Jake Sullivan, who previously worked on Hillary Clinton’s and then Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns.

  10. I know that IS wants to take over every Moslem nations, that they are targeting Jordan next is no surprise, their targeting of Israel after Jordan is, I thought they would want Saudi and Egypt in their new country before they hit Israel. Of course it may be they want to hit Israel while Obama is in office.

    • Your last sentence – horrible thought.

I think the article was meant to emphasize Jordan’s precarious situation. Even if not attacked directly, Israel must be ready to move immediately to prevent the fall of the Hashemite monarchy.

      • Horrible but possible, you need to build your/our defenses based on what the worst possible thing they can do, that is one of the worst.

        • Part of the reason Bibi refused to bow to pressure (and his own instinct) to wipe Hamas out. Resources just aren’t there.

Hezbollah will probably be Israel’s next mess.
          Unless Jordan requires Israeli intervention.

Really need to work on tunnel tech. People in the Galilee say they hear scratching noises in their sleep.

  11. #5 Now it they can find the evidence that Hillary knew what was going on.

#6 I wish more media sources were reporting on these events, if they were even the terminally stupid would start questioning the leftist claims.
