Geopolitics and Islam: The changing maps of the world links 2 for Aug. 15 – 2014

Actually there are no maps available that reflect the real politics of Islam and its influence. The UK and France are both already Balkanized by muslim immigration and a real map of that would probably be highly censured as no one in officialdom is ready to admit it yet.

Meanwhile, some good news:

3. Afghan doctor in Phila. passed coded messages, U.S. says

A 62-year-old Afghan doctor detained in Philadelphia this week on immigration fraud charges received and passed along coded messages from an anti-Western terror group with ties to al-Qaeda, federal prosecutors said.

At a court hearing Friday, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams said FBI agents discovered the documents written in Pashto and hidden between glued pages of religious tracts mailed to Hayatullah Dawari’s Northeast Philadelphia home.

The package, intercepted during a January raid, came from Pakistan and included instructions to forward several books inside to various people across the United States.

A later search uncovered a coded message similar to that found in Dawari’s possession at the home of another associate in Philadelphia.

“The note, when translated from Pashto to English, appears to contain a message directing some urgent action,” Williams said.

4. Ebola crisis to last ‘at least six months’ – MSF

Speaking in Geneva, MSF President Joanne Liu said the situation was “deteriorating faster, and moving faster, than we can respond to”.

5. French Jew assaulted in Marseille over Gaza

6. ISIL could pose threat to US, Europe, officials say

(Apparently Obama’s Junior Varsity analogy wasn’t quite on)

U.S. counterterrorism officials have dramatically ramped up their warnings about the threat posed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), concluding that the well-armed group is expanding its ambitions outside the Middle East and may be planning terror attacks against western Europe — and even the U.S. homeland.

ISIL’s conquest of vast swaths of Iraqi territory this spring and summer netted it a “significant” arsenal of U.S. weapons from two Iraqi military bases, including hundreds of tanks, heavily armored Humvees, assault rifles, and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, officials say. One U.S official tells Yahoo News ISIL is now considered “the most potent military force” of any terrorist group in the world.

  1. #6 As the new Caliphate grows stronger the west disarms, our treasonous leaders have created the conditions for a century or more of violence, a century where there is a good chance civilization will not survive. In the end I don’t doubt that the west will be free of Islam but I question if democracy and the rights of the individual will survive in most nations.
