The Geopolitics of Islam: Moving faster than expected: Links post 1 for July 31 – 2014

1. Iran’s supreme leader calls for the destruction of Israel

(This isn’t new, but sometimes its tricky to catch the leadership stating this clearly, which this time they do)

2. Gaza tunnel under mosque used to attack Israel/IDF personnel.

3. UN OFFICIAL ADMITS Hamas is firing rockets from populated civilian sites:

4. Nigerian forces find 10-year-old girl wearing a bomb after pulling over two Boko Haram suspects

When government forces in Nigeria arrested two suspected Boko Haram militants, they were reportedly travelling with a 10-year-girl with a bomb attached to her.

The pair were caught driving in a Honda SUV in northern Nigeria, government spokesman Mike Omeri told Reuters. He said the two suspects tried to escape, but were stopped by “concerned Nigerians” nearby and arrested.

The girl was wearing an “explosive belt,” Mr. Omeri said.

5. NYC: Hate Crime Cops Investigating Anti-Muslim Fliers Distributed In Bath Beach Apartment Building

(Does the English look a little funny to anyone else here?)

(I can’t help but notice that these sorts of things nearly never say anything actually insulting to Islam. Nothing blasphemous. Nothing bad about the Pirate Mohamed or his imaginary fiend.)

6. Superstition and fear cause various Africans to use force to prevent actual doctors and scientists from helping prevent and treat Ebola outbreak.

(Video at site but article is more important)

7. Palestinian flag flies outside Tower Hamlets town hall

(Islam will cause Balkanization everywhere it gains the numbers. It cannot integrate into a host country.)

8. Ebola: UK border staff ‘unprepared’ says union leader

“There is no health facility at the border, there is no containment facility, and until extremely recently there has been no guidance issued to staff at all as to what they should do,” she said on BBC Radio 4’s The World Tonight.

“They are phoning us up and asking ‘what are we supposed to do, how do we spot this, how do we protect ourselves?’, and we can’t answer that for them just now.”

Thank you Les, M, Yucki, Snaphanen.Dk, Wrath of Khan,

More to come. I just got a chilling yet revealing video from Australia. It needs subtitles because even though its English, what they are saying needs to be clear on this one. They give up the game here.

  1. Give it a break, will you.
Go BACK to your OWN country!

  2. #5 Heh heh, yes, yet again, clearly written by someone for whom English is not their first language. I wonder who could have done it (snigger)?

  3. #1 Iran realizes America is run solely by an Administration. It’s now the boys against the ladies.

#5 Eeyor: “I can’t help but notice that these sorts of things nearly never say anything actually insulting to Islam”

This is very important, to listen to commenters who will set-up the issues, attack Muslims not of their sect with full venom inviting hate and violence, and then provide intrigue about what the Jews are doing. It is what they never say. All be aware.

  4. Imam of China’s biggest mosque killed in Xinjiang

BEIJING (AFP) – The head of China’s largest mosque was murdered after conducting morning prayers, the local government in the far western region of Xinjiang said on Thursday, amid intensifying violence in the turbulent region.

Jume Tahir, the government-appointed imam of the 600-year-old Id Kah mosque in the city of Kashgar, was killed Wednesday by “three thugs influenced by religious extremist ideology”, the Xinjiang government web portal Tianshan said.

Police launched an all-out investigation and shot dead two of the alleged assailants while capturing the other, Tianshan said. Tianshan added that Tahir’s killing was “premeditated” and that the suspects intended to commit a “ruthless murder”. It also said they wanted to “increase their influence via ‘doing something big'”.

Tahir was found dead in a pool of blood outside the mosque’s prayer house, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported earlier on its website.

  5. I agree with what the codiscoverer of the Ebola virus says in this article:

Exposed is not the same thing as infected. Look at the total population then at the number of known infected and dead and realize that the numbers are still low. This isn’t spreading like the flu or a nasty cold. Contact with the patient or with body fluids is required for infection to occur. Tending the sick, cleaning up after them and preparing the body for the funeral place people at high risk for infection. The folks who cleaned the bathrooms, seats, or launder the blankets on the planes the American flew on are at highest risk along with anyone of the flight who helped the man.

    • They still need to be watched and preferably quarantined until they are proven to be uninfected, this use to be common all around the world in cases like this.
