1. I think it is time we gave the new territory that muslim psychopaths who stole land from Syria and Iraq and have managed to commit an actual genocide in the short time they have had control of it, a name of our own. If we can call Doitchland Germany than surely we can call, ‘The Islamic State’, or, The Caliphate’ a name we feel is more accurate in terms of what it actually is.
Given how they achieved that state and what they have done in it so far, I suggest we call it: The Tard Reich.
2. Tonight on CFRA, John Counsell did a decent show on the world today. Still not as intense on world news as I feel someone should be in the MSM but much much better than most other sources. The callers are encouraging. If you are looking for some nice background while you do the dishes or what not, give his show a listen.
3. Australia teenager behind Iraq blast
The attack took place in a market near a Baghdad mosque on Thursday.
The man detonated explosives in a suicide vest, killing at least three other people and injuring dozens more.
The Islamic State (Isis) militant group, in an affiliated Twitter feed, said it was behind the attack and named the man as Abu Bakr al-Australi.
4. There have been a few op-eds suggesting that the Obama admin’s policy towards Israel as expressed by the FAA decision to stop flights to Israel is actually a shot across the bow to let Israel know where the US stands. There is some reasoning to that. Here is an article on that.
Israel was shocked by the FAA’s swift and sudden decision Tuesday to suspend all US civilian air traffic to Tel Aviv. The move was made without an investigation, without issuing any warning, and without any discussion with Israel. As my friend Prof. Eugene Kontorovich from Northwestern Law School explains in the post below published on Commentary’s website, the FAA’s action is over the top when compared to its continued willingness to permit US civilian aircraft to take off and land in Afghanistan. After all, in stark contrast to the situation in Israel, military aircraft in Afghanistan have been downed by Taliban forces. The double standard the FAA has applied to Israel leads necessarily to the conclusion that concern for aircraft safety was not the primary cause for the FAA ruling.

5. Windows Smashed in Belfast Synagogue
Flash 90
Windows were smashed at a Belfast, Northern Ireland synagogue on Friday night and Saturday, Jewish community leaders told BBC News, as an upswing in anti-Semitic violence worldwide continues.
After a window was smashed Friday night and its replacement smashed again less than 24 hours later, Belfast police are treating the vandalism as a religious hate crime.
Thank you M, ML, Yucki, Wrath of Khan and all who sent in material. I have one more tonight thanks to Oz-Rita on France. Should be ready soon.
‘Massacre’ at sea: Italy arrests five for killings of over 100 on migrant boat
Men accused of throwing at least 110 people overboard after panic broke out when migrants began running out of air in hold
Italian police have arrested five men accused of massacring more than 100 fellow migrants after panic broke out on a boat making the treacherous crossing to Europe, local media reported.
Italian and Maltese naval crews last Saturday discovered 30 bodies – including that of a baby – of passengers who had apparently been overcome by heat and engine fumes after being locked in the hold of a boat carrying over 560 mostly-Syrian migrants, according to the reports.
And police in the Sicilian port of Messina, where the survivors were brought, were said to believe a further 110 people had been thrown into the ocean by their fellow passengers on the horror crossing from Tunisia.
Survivors told police grim details of how a journey to a better life turned into a nightmare for many onboard.
They described what they witnessed on the boat as a massacre, police told media.
According to the witnesses, migrants locked in the hold panicked as air ran out, forced the door and stormed the bridge.
The boat began to founder, and fighting erupted between two groups of passengers on the bridge – one that wanted to brave the high seas and continue the voyage, and another that wanted to return to Tunisia.
Witnesses reportedly claimed that, in the chaos, many people were stabbed, while others were thrown overboard in a bid to keep the vessel afloat.
Messina’s chief of police estimated that 50 of the migrants were thrown overboard, and around 60 were stabbed and then thrown into the sea.
The five men arrested were said to be a 21-year-old Syrian, two Moroccans aged 21 and 25, a Palestinian of 25 and a Saudi aged 32.
#1 I’m a little jealous I didn’t think of that…beautiful, simple, almost brought a tear to my eye…I think I will stop commenting on here, because I know I can never top that.
Tard or Turd?
Is that an existential question?
2/ Glad to see John Counsell giving regular caller James time to articulate observations that need the articulate airing they receive here, minute 28:00 ff.
