1. Trinidad Muslims travel to Venezuela for jihadist training

By Caribbean News Now contributor
PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad — Cellphone images seized by SEBIN, Venezuela’s intelligence service, allegedly show Trinidadian Muslims arrested in Venezuela engaging in what SEBIN described as “pre-jihad training” on a firing range using high-powered weapons, the Trinidad Express reported.
The images were reportedly extracted from the cellphones seized from some of the Muslims in a group that travelled to Venezuela from Trinidad and were later arrested in a raid at the Plaza Hotel in Caracas on March 19, together with women and children, who were later released.

3. Inconvenient truths about race and slavery
“The truth is harsh.”
So spoke the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, back in the 19th century.
On no topic is the truth harsher than on that of race.
The Eric Holders of the world incessantly bemoan the absence of an “honest discussion of race” in America. But such a discussion, beginning, as it must, with a discussion of slavery, is actually the last thing that they could afford to have, for such a discussion would include facts that would undermine much of the ideologically-invaluable conventional wisdom concerning this topic.
For instance, the very word “slave” stems from “Slav,” i.e. a reference to the experience of millions of (white) Slavish people who endured centuries of slavery at the hands of African Muslims. This, of course, is a most inconvenient truth, for it is a most Politically Incorrect truth. But it is the truth.

4. Syria conflict: Times journalists beaten during capture
The journalists, who have both won awards for covering conflicts, reportedly recognised their captors as being the same as those charged with providing them safe passage to the Turkish border.
The BBC’s Jim Muir in Beirut says it seems the pair were double-crossed by the very rebel group that was supposedly protecting them.
5. New Emails: Democratic Senator Pressured IRS To Target Groups
The IRS’ Washington, D.C. headquarters targeted conservative groups in part due to pressure from Democratic Sen. Carl Levin, according to emails obtained by the watchdog group Judicial Watch and reviewed by The Daily Caller.
Levin, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs’ permanent subcommittee on investigations, wrote a March 30, 2012 letter to then-IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman discussing the “urgency” of the issue of possible political activity by nonprofit applicants. Levin asked if the IRS was sending out additional information requests to applicant groups and citing an IRS rejection letter to a conservative group as an example of how the IRS should be conducting its business.

1/ 1/ Doesn’t the Monroe Doctrine kick in here?
Oops, I forgot:
Kerry Makes It Official: ‘Era of Monroe Doctrine Is Over’
At a time when the Middle East, Afghanistan and China monopolize U.S. foreign-policy, Latin America hasn’t received much attention. Until today, that is, when Secretary of State John Kerry declared the expiration of the nearly 200-year old lodestar of U.S. diplomacy in the Americas.
“The era of the Monroe Doctrine is over,” Mr. Kerry said in a speech at the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C.
That prompted some tepid applause, which Mr. Kerry encouraged: “That’s worth applauding. That’s not a bad thing.”
Although mainly a statement of the obvious, Mr. Kerry’s declaration was welcomed at home and abroad, prompting a social media eruption.
The Monroe Doctrine was meant to keep Europeans out of Latin America in the wake of regional independence movements from Spain. It was later amplified by President Theodore Roosevelt with an eye toward making the U.S. the dominant player in the whole region.

#1 If we knew the facts there are probably a lot of terror training camps in South and Central America.
#2 Of course they won’t Obama wants the jihad to succeed and Islam to dominate the world.
#3 The facts of history have never supported the left, that is why they are always lying about history.
#5 Well Duh.
