(A week or so ago I posted this call to CFRA AM Radio where 7 minutes in, a caller in Ottawa also found the focus on Boko Haram’s slave raids suspicious but for a different reason)
Are we witnessing an Obama “Wag the Dog” moment with Boko Haram in Nigeria? I say yes.
Consider all the scandals facing the Obama administration, especially Benghazi and the Select Committee, which Rep. Nancy Pelosi referred to as a “political stunt.” Really? Four Americans die, we’re told it was because of an anti-Islam video, no one has been “brought to justice” and THAT is a phony scandal and a political stunt? Boy, if this had been a Republican president, he or she certainly would never have been reelected because the media would have been all over it. Instead the media is doing everything possible to protect Obama.
2. Boko Haram video claims to show the girls taken on a slave-raid
Rahim had another hit song, Hey Arab Leaders, in which he accused the U.S. and Israel of masterminding the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York.

A Muslim father became enraged when he discovered his teenage daughter was seeing a white boy, Burnley Crown Court (pictured) heard
The father of three from a ‘traditional Asian family’ was later arrested after the boyfriend became concerned when the girl stopped sending text messages.
Now 16, she no longer lives at her family home in Blackburn and is still seeing the boy.
At Burnley Crown Court, the father, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the girl, admitted child cruelty.

I had been looking at the attention on the kidnapped girls as good news until I read the article, now it looks like Obama has been learning from Bill Clinton on how to deflect scandals.
More attacks in Yemen kill soldiers as violence moves to capital (CNN, May 11, 2014)

“More violence from suspected al Qaeda militants in Yemen continued Sunday in two separate attacks.
At least 13 Yemeni soldiers were killed and nine others were injured when the militants ambushed a military police headquarters in the southern Yemeni province of Hadramout, two Interior Ministry officials told CNN. The attackers “easily escaped,” said Ali BaNajjar, who witnessed the ambush in Hadramout.
A second attack occurred close to a checkpoint near the Yemeni presidential palace in the capital, Sanaa, according the government officials. Several militants were killed, said Mohammed al-Qayedi, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry.
It’s not the first time militants have targeted Sanaa security forces. On Friday, nearly 20 gunmen attacked the political security headquarters in the capital and killed four troops and injured at least four others at a checkpoint. Three attackers were killed, while the others fled unharmed.
The violence seems in line with a promise a senior al Qaeda operative made last week — that the organization was going to bring bloodshed to Sanaa…”

“Women across Iran are posting photos of themselves without the hijab to a dedicated Facebook page called “My Stealthy Freedom”.
The Facebook page was set up just over a week ago, and already has 130,000 “likes”. Almost all are from people in Iran, both men and women.
So far the page has around 150 photos. They show women on the beach, on the street, in the countryside, alone, with friends or their partners – but crucially – all without the headscarf. Most include a few words, for example: “I loathe the hijab. I too like the feel of the sun and the wind on my hair. Is this a big sin?””

“At least 14 people were killed when a ship carrying migrants sank about 100 miles off southern Italy Monday, the Italian navy said.
Italy’s coast guard rescued about 200 other people who’d been on the ship, the state-run ANSA news agency reported.
The incident came a day after a boat carrying illegal migrants sank off the coast of Tripoli, Libya, killing at least 40 people, according to an account from Libya’s Interior Ministry….”

“Militants carried out a deadly attack on a government building in eastern Afghanistan and fired rockets near Kabul’s main airport Monday as the Taliban began their annual spring offensive.
An armed group stormed the provincial Justice Department in the city of Jalalabad on Monday morning, clashing with Afghan security forces, authorities said.
By the time the fighting ended, three insurgent gunmen, two police officers and five civilian employees of the Justice Department were dead, said Sediq Sediqqi, a spokesman for the Afghan Interior Ministry. At least one other civilian was wounded, he said.
In the capital, Kabul, two rockets landed near military buildings around the northern side of the city’s international airport but didn’t cause any casualties or material damage, the Interior Ministry said…”

Obama is trying to bring down governments that fight Islamic terrorism, whether in Egypt, Israel or Nigeria, and replace them with governments that appease terrorists. This shared goal creates an alliance, direct or indirect, open or covert, between Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood, Obama and the PLO and Obama and Boko Haram.
